Give To The Max Day is a Minnesota-wide effort inspiring people to give. 

Pet Haven has 71 years of rescuing, fostering, creating families, and providing a lasting safety net for pets. We are proud to be Minnesota’s FIRST foster-based rescue organization incorporated on November 3rd, 1952, and receiving our 501c3 status in 1964.

We focus our efforts here in Minnesota because we have seen a massive surge since 2019 in pets entering our Minnesota shelters. Costs are rising, owners in crisis unable to care for their pets have fewer and fewer options, and rural areas are being hit hard with a lack of resources and an increase of pets in crisis. We feel it is our responsibility to keep our efforts local and support Minnesota communities.
