Pet Haven’s central mission is to help end pet overpopulation. Pet Haven also supports spay/neuter efforts to help improve the long-term health and overall behavior of pets in homes. To back this commitment, our general policy is to not adopt out to homes with an intact dog. We do make exceptions (e.g., medical reasons) so that is why we ask for reasoning if a pet is not altered.
