His whole being radiates a pure, wild sweetness, flitting through night woods with little melodious cries, on some cryptic errand. There is also an aura of doom and sadness about this trusting little creature. He has been abandoned many times over the centuries." -  William S. Burroughs author of The Cat Inside

Rainier, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 3 months old
Rainier is an energetic, playful, three-month-old tortoiseshell girl looking for a forever home, with people to love and lots of things to explore.
This lady is a petite little supermodel: always striking poses for the camera, like her signature crossed paws. The camera loves her! And who wouldn’t love a cat who looks like she has swoopy bangs and mutton chops?!? When she’s not being adored by her public, she’s busy wrestling around with her siblings and mom or taking naps on the heated bathroom floor. Although she has her public side, it hasn’t kept her from being down-to-earth. Rainier is also one of the best snugglers of the group. She settles in a lap while her person is working at their desk or finds the best spot on the couch for TV time. She’s also enthusiastic about work and loves to “help” you scoop the litterbox or sweep the floor. Currently, Rainier lives in a foster home with her 7 sibling, mama cat, and two adult humans. Ideally, Rainier will find a home with at least one of her siblings (a large group to select from, check out Iris, Teton and more you can meet!), mom, or another active young resident cat to show her the ropes. She likes to have another four-legged partner in crime to rough and tumble with. This girl is busy, active, and very adaptable; she’s open for adventure, and would fit in well in many family settings. Are you ready for some high-energy kitten fun this summer? Rainier is ready to help you reach the summit of adorable fun! ---- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Teton, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 months old
Teton is a three-month-old, energetic and playful orange boy looking for a forever home with people to love and things to explore.
This sweet pumpkin is a bit of a gentle giant. He likes to roughhouse but doesn’t always realize his size compared to some of his smaller siblings. The biggest kitten since birth, he quickly earned the nickname Two-Ton Teton. This big, orange boy is up early with his brothers and sisters and is more than happy to play with them until the humans are up. He'll play with whomever is available and is not overly needy. Although he does play hard, he is also up for a snuggle when things quiet down. He can be found curled up with his sibs or may slide in next to a warm human for pets while he snoozes. Teton likes adventure, but sits back to take stock in new situations before jumping in. Currently, this handsome fellow lives in a foster home with his 7 siblings, mama cat, and two adult humans. Ideally, Teton will find a home with at least one of his siblings (check out Iris and Rainier), mom, or to a with another active young resident cat to show him the ropes. He likes to have another four-legged partner in crime to rough and tumble with. He is very adaptable, open for adventure, and would fit in well in many family settings. Are you ready for some orange kitten shenanigans this summer? If so, Teton and his siblings would love to meet you! --- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Iris, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 3 months old
Iris is a three-month-old confident, and chatty tuxedo kitten looking for a forever home with people to adore her, along with plenty of things to explore.
Iris was an orphan, losing her siblings shortly after birth, and being lovingly bottle-fed by her foster. When she was old enough to make feline friends, she joined a litter of about the same age, fitting in like she had always been there. Iris certainly gives only-child energy, eating everyone else’s food, and loudly “providing feedback” when one of her adoptive siblings has a leg-up in the wrestling match. Her hobbies include nibbling human toes and purring loudly if you even look her way. Although she has her diva side, this sweet gal also likes quiet evenings snuggled up on the couch. She loves to get in your face, play with your hair, and then settle in on your chest. Currently, Iris lives in a foster home with her 7 adoptive siblings, surrogate mama cat, and two adult humans. Ideally, Iris will find a home with at least one of her siblings (so many to choose from - check out thr kittens with National Park names!), or with another active young resident cat to show her the ropes. She likes to have another four-legged partner in crime to rough and tumble with. This beautiful girl is very adaptable, open for adventure, and would fit in well in many family settings. Are you ready to double your fun this summer? Iris (and her siblings) would love to join your family. --- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Theo, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 7 years-old
Theo is a talkative, cuddly, five-year-old ginger boy looking for his forever home!
This sweet guy loves to chat about his day and is quite the conversationalist. He chirps, purrs, and trills, sharing his thoughts on the day's activities. Theo is a BIG FAN of early morning breakfast, and practically skips to the kitchen, wagging his little bobbed tail. Afterwards, he turns on his favorite show, THE BIG WINDOW, where he follows the stories of the robins, chickadees, and occasional squirrel. All this activity requires a sun-filled nap on the blue couch, which also allows him to keep an eye out for the return of his favorite show. Theo enjoys hanging out in the kitchen, and being near people, and is thrilled when it is time to cuddle on the couch. He has an endearing way of putting his head on our lap and curling up against us. Hide and seek is a favorite playtime with the resident cats: in and out of boxes, up and down the stairs, chasing ping pong balls, and feather wands. At about 10:30 at night, he is ready to sleep and snuggles into bed. Theo loves getting pets and even reaches up in meerkat pose to make it very clear that pets are needed. This guy is a charmer—he has soft orange fur, beautiful clear, pale green eyes, with a tiny freckle on his nose. Theo likes to play and be near people. He is a moderately active cat, getting the zoomies in the evening, and enjoying a good game of tag with the resident cats. He’s also a top-level cuddler and has times where he will sit and snuggle during the day. Theo currently lives with two humans in a house with two resident cats. He really likes having people and other pets around. Because he’s such an extrovert, he would do best with people who work from home or are around a lot to keep him company and engage with him. This will thrive in a family household with multiple people and animals; although he hasn’t met any dogs yet, he does well children and other cats. Theo is a sweet and loving, chatty boy, and loves sharing about his day. This guy is always happy to hang out with people and pets alike. Would you like to join the conversation? Theo can’t wait to meet you! ----- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. Stitch, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years-old
Stitch is a very loving, cuddly, 2-year-old cat who enjoys pets, lap time, and exploring his surroundings.
He has a calm and gentle presence and loves lounging by the window, watching the world go by. When he’s not relaxing, he’s investigating every corner of the home with quiet curiosity. What makes Stitch unique is his sweet nature and adorable little meows. He has a charming habit of jumping onto your lap just to get some extra affection, making him the perfect companion for someone looking for a snuggly sidekick. This handsome stripey guy has a moderate energy level. He enjoys playtime and window-watching but also knows how to settle down for a cozy nap. He gets along well with other cats and tends to keep to himself while giving them space, making him a respectful roommate in a multi-cat household. This guy is a fastidious litterbox user, preferring two boxes to one. He currently lives in an apartment with three young adults and one other cat and does very well in that environment. He hasn’t met a dog yet but does well with kids. Stitch would thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can feel safe and take his time adjusting. Because he can be anxious in new settings or when leaving his home, he’ll need a patient adopter who understands that he may need about a week or so to decompress. Once he feels comfortable, he becomes his loving, affectionate self. No special experience is needed to let this guy melt your heart—just someone who’s kind, gentle, and ready to give Stitch the cozy forever home he deserves. ---- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Chauncey, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 12.5 years-old
Chauncey is a 13-year-old, mellow gentleman looking for his forever home.
As his lustrous silvery coat reveals, he is a part Russian Blue with a heart full of love and a calm, gentle spirit. This sweet senior boy is the definition of a quiet companion—affectionate without being demanding, and happiest when he's curled up next to you or enjoying a soft brushing session. He adores gentle pets and will gladly lean in for more love. Chauncey enjoys the occasional play session, especially with a wand toy or something with a string—but he’s mostly content to lounge nearby, soaking up your company or napping in a comfy spot. His beautiful coat will need to be gently brushed regularly, to keep it looking its best and free from mats. He currently lives in an apartment with one other person. Chauncey would thrive in a peaceful home where he can relax and soak up attention at his own pace. He is so ready to enjoy a low-key lifestyle with someone who works from home or is around a lot, and who appreciates a sweet, laid-back cat. Chauncey hasn’t met any other cats or dogs yet (no kids, please), and he has so much quiet affection to give as he celebrates his golden years. Harry, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 10 years-old
Harry is a 10-year-old loving and easygoing cat who is eager to please - and lucky for you, he is looking for his fur-ever home!
This big-boned feline is a surprising master of disappearing, whether creating a space between the boxspring and the outside fabric or ducking in the shadows, he channels his namesake Houdini. Now you see him, now you don’t. He may have the disappearing act down, but Harry prefers to be out in the open and in the spotlight. This handsome tuxedo fellow is always dressed for a night on the town--he loves to be the center of attention, rubbing up against his human’s leg. It only takes a few pets, and he starts a rumble of purrs, his equivalent to a round of applause. Harry has not yet met another cat, and would prefer to be an only animal, but his human assistant (foster mom) believes he would do fine with slow introductions to calm, relaxed resident felines. He is not a fan of dogs, going immediately on the defensive before pulling his disappearing trick. Harry has not met children in his foster home, but given his chill nature, adaptability and willingness to be picked up, he would likely make the small humans his biggest fans in no time. If you’d like a relaxed companion for a suave night on the town with plenty of playtime, cool jazz, lots of affection, and perhaps a surprise disappearing act to keep things lively, then Harry is the guy for you! Reach out and meet this charmer who is so ready to live his best life with his forever family! --- Harry is scheduled to recieve his last round of required vaccines on 05/29. He will be ready to head to his furever home after that date! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Topaz, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years-old
Topaz is a 2-year-old playful and cuddly orange tabby cat looking for her forever home!
This sweet ginger girl is very playful and loves all the attention you can give her. She especially loves anything she can chase (laser and wand toys are her favorites) and enjoys watching birds and squirrels through the windows. You can find her napping cozily under your bed or near a window on a sunny day. A born explorer, this pretty lady is constantly curious and will explore all areas of the house she is allowed to. She hasn’t shown interest in jumping to high places yet, except for couches or beds. Topaz warms up to new people once they play with her and let her come to them. She loves to be brushed and petted all day long and is okay with being picked up and cuddled with adults who can hold her safely. She will seek out your attention with leg rubs or quiet meows and would most likely quickly bond to her adoptive parents! Topaz loves when children play with her and give her pets, although she seems to prefer only being held by adults. Topaz has typical energy for a young adult cat. She will nap throughout the day but is always willing to play! In fact, this busy gal would probably play all day if she could! She will wander and explore when she needs to move and likes toys that encourage her to problem-solve. She would do well in a home with humans who have the time and energy to meet her needs for lots of fun play-and-chase sessions. She currently lives in a house but would probably be fine in an apartment or townhome as well, if there is enough room for some active playtime. She lives in her foster home with two adults and two kids—to date, she hasn’t had any experience with other cats, dogs, or with children under the age of five. Topaz would do well in a home with one devoted human or with multiple people. She does get overwhelmed with a lot of noise (neighborhood kids, birthday parties, etc.) and will probably find a quiet place to hide until everything settles down again. She is fine being left alone for periods of time, as long as her people are willing and happy to engage with her and have lots of playtime upon their return. Topaz is a sweetheart and loves human companionship! She is ready and eager to find her forever family! Could that be with you? ---- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Boba, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3.5 years-old
Bo is a sweet and gentle 3-year-old looking for his forever home. This handsome silver-grey fellow is a laid-back cat who enjoys bumping his head into you for attention and watching outdoor cat TV from windowsills and perches.
He will play with wand toys or bat around toys if you’d like to play with him, but otherwise he is content to just hang out and be with his people. This guy is a discerning gourmet--he enjoys kibble, but his foster hasn't found a soft food that is to his liking yet. Bo currently lives in a single-family home with kids, other cats, and a dog. He would do great as a family cat as he has a very chill personality, with a low-to-medium energy level. He does enjoy digging, so a high-sided litterbox would probably be best (he uses it like a champ). This handsome guy is looking for a home where he can just hang out and be loved. He gets along well with children and our dog but is selective about feline friends—he has done fine with confident male cats previously, but not with females. Bo is a large-boned cat at 16 pounds (not fat, just ready to suit up for the offensive line), so it's not easy to lift him up; however, he is very docile and loves to hang out. His ideal home would be a place with forever humans who work from home or are around a lot, so he won’t get lonely. Bo has had a rough few weeks, losing his owner to assisted living and being moved around to different spaces, so this sweet guy really needs some stability in his life. If you’re ready to offer this big, charming fellow a soft place to land with plenty of attention and companionship, Bo is so ready to meet you!

Callista, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1 Year Old
Calista is a stunning 1-year-old former mama looking for her forever home! You won't believe how beautiful Calista truly is until you meet her in person! She has incredibly long legs followed up with an even longer tail, with possibly the world’s cutest little orange marking at the tip of it.
It’s as if she accidentally dipped the last bit into bright orange paint! Her eyes are ginormous and round with curiosity and while it can’t be said for sure, her foster swears she could be part Bengal. Calista raised 3 babies after being left behind in an apartment, sadly. Although we don't know the situation, we do know that she's extremely loving and adaptable—which is even more amazing considering all the change and confusion she experienced! Calista loves to play and can often be found self-entertaining with a good scratch on a flat scratcher or chasing some of her favorite toys. An occasional zoom around the house gets those long legs stretched; of course, these antics also require plenty of compliments from the peanut gallery on how fast she is! Her favorite forms of affection are light cheek scritches and gentle pets; while receiving these, she will find the fluffiest blanket to make very fancy biscuits on while purring happily. Calista would love a home with another young kitty friend who does well with other cats. Although she is generally cat-savvy, this girl is still a kitten and has way too much energy for an older feline. Instead, she would love to play some games of chase or ""bap it,” as foster mom calls it, with another zooming kitten pal! It is unknown if she has met any kids or dogs yet, but her foster mom suspects that a calm, cats-only home would be best for Calista at this time. She needs some space to settle in and establish consistency (older, gentle, cat-savvy teens may be okay.) Having the space to befriend other young felines would help her thrive, gain confidence, and learn what is like to a beloved part of a true home. Calista is truly a gem and can't wait to meet her furever family!

Josie & Connor Female & Male,
Domestic Shorthair, 15 weeks
Josie and Connor are 15-week-old super-cuties looking for their furever home! These charmers are siblings and a little bit yin and yang to each other. They are full of kitten energy right up until they burn themselves out and zonk out entirely. These guys love to play with their brother Matthew as well!
Connor is a total and complete sweetheart. He may be a part of that single shared brain cell orange tabby club, but we love him anyway. He is often observant first before engaging with people or playtime, and sometimes a little behind on what's going on which is incredibly endearing. Once he gets going, he loves to show off his high leaps into the air and has a ginormous purr. He's not an instigator but will relax in your lap when you set him there; he just needs a little help with that decision-making process after a long day, which I think we can all relate to! Josie is pure and complete tortitude. Everything she does is full commitment, either big purrs or big sass. She's gentle with her sass but also a clear communicator! This energetic gal loves to go zipping around chasing a wand toy as fast as she can and when she's busy, she is BUSY, but when she is ready to relax, she has a lovely, big purr! She sports the cutest little beauty freckle under her chin that makes her foster mom smile every time she sees it! Josie and Connor are looking for a stable home with people they can really love and connect with. They have not met any kids or dogs yet, but their hesitancy at new things indicates they may not be the best match for these. (They do, however, play well with their kitten brother Matthew—also available through Pet Haven—if anyone would love to have a Triple-Header of kitten fun! They may also do okay with gentle, cat-savvy, teens.) Ideally, they’d love to really bond to their people and continue developing their personalities with their furever home's lifestyles! They are champs with their litterbox and ready to show their new family just how great kittens can be!

Matthew, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 15 weeks
Matthew is a 15-week-old heartthrob of a kitten looking for his forever home!
This guy is ALL confidence with his grey tabby perfection. He's a real handsome fella, and don't think he doesn't know it! Matthew has huge energy, a big play style, and only knows one speed: fast. He loves to play with his siblings Josie and Connor and pull a good sneak attack before zipping off another direction. He's usually so busy it's hard to get a cuddle in, but foster mom thinks that as he gets older and settles into his furever home, he will really start to see the benefits when he has slightly less energy... (if in fact his energy level goes down) Nothing stops him from crawling into your lap for a Churu stick, nor does he have any semblance of manners about sharing one of his treats with others! Matthew needs to go to a home with a young kitty friend (either from Pet Haven or to a home with an active resident cat) as a playmate for him to bond with. His kitty friend should like other kitties while also enjoying a good wrestling match in true kitten style, in order to ensure a good match. Matthew has not met kids or dogs, so it's unknown how he would do. He's likes to take his time deciding how he feels in new situations, so general chaos from younger kids may not be the best fit. Matthew is ready to find his furever family, his new kitty bestie, and show everyone just how handsome he will be!

Raven, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 3 year-old
Raven is a 3-year-old, playful and affectionate beauty looking for her forever home!
Raven’s ideal home is one where she gets lots of love and attention! She would do well in a home with adults who work from home or a family who is around a lot and will play with her, chat with her, and enjoy her snuggly side. She’s adaptable but would love a space where she can explore and have cozy spots to nap. Raven would be happiest as the center of attention, likely as a solo pet. So far, she met one other cat and was not a fan. She hasn't met any dogs yet, but does well with children. She will also need someone willing to spend time brushing her lovely fluffy coat, to keep her looking her best and preventing any mats from forming. Raven is truly a special cat who will bring so much joy to her forever family. She’s the whole package: beautiful, playful, affectionate, and full of personality. If you’re looking for a cat who will be your best buddy, keep you company, and fill your home with love and fun, don’t pass Raven up. She’s ready to make someone very happy!

Lala, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 16 years old
Lala is a spunky, one-eyed 16 year old lady looking for her retirement home!
Lala has been through a lot. She was a cherished pet until her human passed away a few months ago. When that happened, Lala ended up on the street and then (thanks to a kind neighbor) at Animal Control. What a frightening and confusing time for a mostly blind, mostly deaf elderly lady used to the comforts of a home! Despite her calm demeanor, she was put on the euthanasia list - her advanced age and the medical work she needed done to deal with eye and teeth issues made her unlikely to be adopted. Luckily, Pet Haven stepped in and got her off the list, out of the shelter and into a foster home, to the vet for the care she needed, and now up for adoption! Throughout it all, Lala has been a wonderful mix of spunky and sweet. If she were a human, she'd be the kind of grandma that always had a hug and treats in her purse (or in her case, a ready supply of purrs and headbutts) for her grandkids. She has a loud and scratchy meow but deploys it rarely - mostly just when she notices that her food dish has gotten low (understandable!). She likes to have folks around but also to have her own space to nap and enjoy her retirement years. She has one gorgeous golden eye, a beautifully soft dilute tortoiseshell coat, and an easily-activated heart-warming purr! Lala is very low-key old lady and spends about 20-22 hours a day sleeping, usually near but not on her people. She loves having a blanket or cat bed on the couch or on her foster's desk, where she snoozes away with the kind of bliss that only the nearly-deaf can achieve. When she's awake, she enjoys chin scratches and gentle pets, eating Fancy Feast, and playing with a wand toy or laser pointer. It's pretty impressive how good she is at catching her toy with only one eye and presumably no depth perception!! She does get a little wheezy when she exercises, and prefers her play in small (~5-10 min) doses before returning to her comfy dozing spot. She currently lives in a 3-story house with two adults. She has met a variety of people while in foster care and at the shelter, and is good with strangers of all ages so long as they are respectful (and especially if they provide treats)! Lala's ideal home would be one where she has space to choose between being near her humans (especially in the evenings) and a safe space to sleep undisturbed on her own. She can navigate carpeted stairs despite a little arthritis but jumping is a challenge - she would be great in a house with fewer stories and less total space than she's got now, and benefits from pet stairs to get up onto window sills or other good nap spots. She has previously lived with cats and was not a fan - she is happiest as an only cat. No specific experience needed at this stage - she is a senior citizen and may need medication or other vet support in the future, but honestly it is very easy to medicate as needed! She had to be in a cone for a while after having her eye removed, and was extremely chill about both that and the pharmacy of meds she was on as she recovered. Thanks to Pet Haven, Lala's major medical needs have all been taken care of! She is up to date on shots and senior bloodwork, has had her non-functional eye removed (some photos were taken beforehand - she's now an adorable one-eyed pirate!), and has had her teeth inspected and cleaned. Her only on-going special need is fiber-rich dry food (she is currently eating Royal Canin Gastrointestinal kibble) to reduce the chance of constipation and a little Miralax in advance of and for a few days after stressful events like car rides or vet visits. Grandma Lala has been through a lot, but still has so much joy and love to give! Senior pets are ofter overlooked through no fault of their own. Adopting Lala will give you a heart-warming, silly, low-key friend who demands very little from her owners and returns so much in love, purrs and antics. There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Nala is a sweet and playful 9-year-old tripod who is looking for a fur-ever home who can show her how sweet a cat’s life can be!
Nala tends to warm up to women more quickly than men—a home with one or two women would be a great fit for her. She doesn't like being picked up so older cat-conscious children would be best for her.. She will be nervous for the first few days of her new transition, so she needs a forever family who will be patient with her, respect her boundaries, and allow her to show love on her own time. She has only three legs (which makes her all the cuter) and is FIV+, but is healthy as can be. Nala is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean she can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj Overall, Nala is looking for a patient, gentle human who is ready to show her that the world can be a good place. She deserves to be shown the kindness and love that she shows others every day. If you are ready to open your home and heart to this sweet, deserving girl, please apply today. ---- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Kiefer is very affectionate and confident around people and strangers. He has an adorable purr which he happily uses when he’s playing or cuddling with his people. Kiefer is a pretty easy going cat who is perfectly content just lazing around most of the day; however, he is very easy to engage in playtime! Kiefer currently lives in a home with a single foster. Overall, Kiefer is a very easy cat who would be perfect for a first time cat owner or experienced owner alike. He needs no special experience and would adapt easily to most forever homes. Tomm, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 years old
Tomm is a one-year-old, friendly and loving sweet boy looking for his forever home!
This handsome pumpkin is a slightly vocal, big-time lover boy! He likes high spots on a cat tree, sleeping in bed with his humans, and looking out a good window. He does get chatty with us when we leave his room to do other things, because he was found living outside and doesn’t want to be left alone. This sweetheart just needs a bit of time to become more confident and secure in a loving home. Right now, Tomm has medium energy. He is more interested in snuggling and affection than playing, but that will probably change once he is comfortable with his forever family and can let all his zoomies out. Tomm currently lives in his spacious basement quarters, which he has all to himself. There are other cats in the home, but he has not fully healed from his neuter surgery yet, so he hasn’t met any of them. This snuggly man would thrive in any home that is filled with love and is permanent! He has spent enough time alone outside, so he should only be kept indoors unless he has a nice, safe, fully enclosed catio! He likes to give sweet kisses, but if he gets excited, he will also unintentionally give a few gentle love bites; gentle redirection by offering a toy or more snuggles is an easy fix. Tomm is a young guy, but he has seen more than enough of the outdoor life. This guy is so ready to know only a soft bed, warm sunlight, and lots of affection with his compassionate, permanent family. Sufi, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years old
Sufi is a 2-year-old super affectionate and cuddly boy looking for his forever home!
This handsome, fluffy panther is a complete cuddle-bug and loves hanging out with us. He also loves interacting with our toddler and is very gentle with young kids. This guy is playful and loves cuddles. He occasionally gets the zoomies but generally hangs out in a lap or on his perch looking out from our windowsills. Sufi lives with his two adult foster parents, our toddler, and a resident cat in our house. This lovely boy would thrive in any home where he gets lots of snuggles. He’s great with kids (we have a rambunctious toddler whom he’s so gentle with). He’s very friendly and will climb into the laps of all our family/friends who visit. Sufi does need to be an only cat, but he would likely do well with an older, calmer dog. (He has only had one interaction with an older dog with a chill temperament, and they got along fine). Because he is so snuggly and affectionate, Sufi would do best with people who work from home/are around a lot to give him all the love and cuddles he desires. If you’d like to share your home with this sweet, handsome fellow this spring, Sufi would love to meet you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Missy, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years old
Missy is a 2-year-old, loving kitty looking for her forever home!
Every morning, Missy will generously let you sleep in but happily greets you once she sees you’re awake. After her morning meal, she gets her energy out by pouncing on crinkly plastic bags or bunny-kicking a good catnip toy. For much of the afternoon, she adorably curls up for a nap on the bed or in a cozy nook. She sets aside plenty of time to show love to you, including squishing her face into yours, rubbing against your legs, or cuddling in your lap. She has such a loud purr and will purr continuously when she’s snuggled into the crook of your arm or being pet. Missy still has some kitten energy and will show more of her playful side once she adjusts to your home! While she can be energetic and get the zoomies, she mostly plays independently, so it’s great to leave toys in a spot she can access by herself. She occasionally enjoys playing with humans, especially if you wiggle a string in front of her. Her most active times are mornings and evenings; she is pretty calm at night. This fluffy gal is currently living with one human in an apartment. Missy would likely thrive in a quiet home where she can soak up lots of attention! She is declawed on her front paws, so being the only animal might be the most stable option for her. She would do well with a patient person/family who is willing to give her time and space to decompress; she would also be fine with gentle, cat-savvy older tweens and teens. She took weeks to show many of her affectionate and playful traits in her foster home, but it has been so worth the wait! She will also need to go to a home that is able to meet her medical needs. Missy has frequent hairballs and is receiving a gel to help these pass. She has her fur brushed regularly to prevent these as well, which she loves! Also, she gets Miralax every day to treat constipation. Both her medicines are mixed into her food, so it makes it super easy! This loving girl would be so happy to spend time with patient, caring, forever humans who either work from home or are around a lot, so she can give and receive the affection she loves. Astro and Comet (Bonded Pair), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 years old
Comet (tuxedo) and Astro (white and black) are one-year-old brothers who are snuggly and playful, looking for their forever home!
These cute boys like to chase after strings, chew on catnip toys and lay on cat towers in the window. Astro is an amazing snuggle buddy who must sleep on your neck and rests his face on your nose and mouth. Comet enjoys snuggles as well but enjoys the cat tower in the window the most. I will tie a string around my waist as I do housework because they love toys that move. They both like their humans to entertain them as they like moving toys. They are pretty chill if you are not actively playing with them, though they will get the zoomies at times and instigate some play with each other, too. They currently live with one adult and my 14-year-old son in a house. These guys haven’t met any dogs yet but would be fine with gentle children over age five. Due to not having any vetting done before they arrived in foster, they have not yet interacted with my resident cat. Both cuties are bit hesitant when meeting new people; Astro seems to open up quickly, but Comet is a bit more reserved. These two would love someone who actively plays with them every day and enjoys having a cuddly, snuggly cat who will curl up right next to your head at night. If you work from home or are around a lot, and enjoy cat shenanigans with a loving young pair, please consider adding Comet and Astro to your family! Kiwi (FeLV+), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1 years old
Kiwi is a 1-year-old, incredibly sweet kitty looking for her forever home. This beautiful tabico is one of the sweetest cats I've ever met. She lives for attention and cuddles and will follow you around, wanting to be by your side—or ideally, in your lap and anywhere you go.
Kiwi will gamely bat at a feather toy, she'll sit and look out the window when there are no people around, and she enjoys sleeping in her soft cat bed. But more than anything she wants attention, touch, and companionship from people. She will make a great couch potato/Netflix companion/book reading buddy for someone! This super-affectionate girl has not been displaying many ""zoomies”—for her, it’s all about the cuddles. Kiwi is in my foster room in my apartment; it's a full-sized bedroom and she's making good use of the space. She would be okay with gentle older kids but is not a fan of my dog at ALL. Because she is positive for feline leukemia (FeLV), Kiwi is not able to interact with my other cats, so I didn’t get to see how she would respond to them. She needs to go to a home where she is the only cat or where there's another FeLV+ cat only. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Kiwi maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life. You can read more about FeLV here: https://tinyurl.com/ycxhwcmu. This sweetheart has been super-friendly with all the people she's met --myself, my partner in the home, and friends who have come over. Kiwi would thrive in a home with someone who can give her LOTS of attention. Someone retired or who works from home, whose lap she can sit on all day, would be ideal—or perhaps a child-free millennial who wants to smother a cat with their love 😊 If you’ve got lots of snuggles and pets to give and are ready to pamper a solo cat (or provide a friend for your resident FeLV+ cat), please consider adding this sweet Kiwi to your family! Milo, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 10 years old
Milo is a 10-year-old, regal buddy looking for his forever home! This sleek panther is a big boy who loves the sun and his solo time, taking it all in. He may take a little while to get used to his new surroundings and people, but when he does it is very rewarding to see him open up.
This guy is curious. He loves to spend time in the bathroom with you and, fair warning, would love to eat some toilet paper if he could get to it. Milo enjoys quiet exploring but will occasionally meow when he thinks it's time for food. This handsome fellow is very reserved and will take some time to gain confidence and feel more comfortable. He gets along with other cats but does not really want to hang with them. He likes to have his own space but has never been physical with another cat or human; he will hiss when annoyed but that’s it. He loves pets and scratches and occasionally will do some solo play time with his favorite cat nip toys. Occasionally he will run around, but for the most part, he is low energy. Milo currently lives with his foster dad and one other foster cat Tigger in a two-bedroom apartment. He has spent all his foster care with Tigger; however, as much as Tigger would like Milo to care for him, Milo is content to just be acquaintances. Milo would thrive in a home with lots of sunny spots and windows. He would do best in a quieter place with either a fellow calm, chill cat, or as a solo kitty with people who are around frequently and committed to helping him gain trust and feel more at ease. I do not foresee him bonding with another cat, but he has been able to live with kittens and Tigger with no issues. He loves to switch up his bed location—whether it be in the middle of the floor, hiding in a cupboard, or sleeping in a cat bed! He loves to scratch the top of the cat box or the wall for fun after doing his business. It can be kind of loud sometimes but usually if you call his name gently, he will stop. Milo is a lovely cat that takes time to come out of his shell. He probably spent the first month living here hiding during the day and only coming out at night. Even though he hides he never gets defensive when found and accepts pets. So, if you need some practice playing hide and seek, he's your guy. Milo really needs the chance to relax and enjoy his golden years. If you’re ready for a loving, sweet companion this spring, Milo would love to join your family. Buddy and Brava (Bonded Pair), Male and Female
Domestic Shorthair, 2 and 4 years old
Brava (about 4 years old) and Buddy (about two years old) are an affectionate, energetic pair looking for their forever home!
Brava spent more than a year at a shelter waiting for her forever home. She has really blossomed in a home setting with her new friend, Buddy. They chase each other up and down the stairs, engage in epic wrestling matches, and get into mischief together. They get along really well and often choose to play, bird-watch, and sleep near each other, but don't cuddle together at this point. Brava is hesitant when she's in a new situation, but after a short time she's exploring her new setting, asking for affection, and purring while kneading her fosters' laps. Her world was the size of a kennel for a large stretch of her life, and she is looking for humans who can be patient with her as she regains trust and gets used to living in a larger world. Buddy has helped her feel more confident in exploring. Buddy has a ton of energy, is very curious, and LOVES human attention (extra emphasis on love). He'll play with just about anything, including various cat toys, brooms, and shoelaces. He is friendly and outgoing when meeting new people for the first time and is eager to receive the same love and affection that he shows everybody else. He finds his own quiet space for a nap while his humans work from home, but as soon as a lap is available, he’s ready to purr and get some cuddles. This charming pair currently lives in a home with two adults. They would do best in a home with a lot of human interaction and affection—someone who works from home or is around a lot would be perfect. The two of them are great as a pair, but Buddy has displayed a dominant streak around other cats in the past, so we think they'd do best in a home without other cats to complicate the dynamic. Also, because Brava is more on the reserved side of the spectrum, they would do best in a home with a calmer environment, specifically without young children. If you’re ready to give these two sweeties the chance to truly enjoy the cozy indoor house life they deserve, Brava and Buddy would love to meet you!

Valerie, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 4 years old
Valerie is a 4-year-old, loving cat looking for her forever home! This fluffy panther is quite reserved at first, but once she warms up to you is the sweetest girl. She loves head scratches and if you stop before she is ready, she will paw at you until you resume.
Valerie spends her day lounging on the cat tree people- and bird-watching outside. She is fairly low energy, but she does enjoy getting the zoomies. She also loves the crinkle toys! This pretty princess lives in a one-bedroom apartment with a girl in her early 20s. Valerie, above all, needs someone who will allow her time to open up. She’s very quiet initially—but once you’re, in you’re IN! She likes to hide or hang out in darker places when alone, but when she feels comfortable with you, she’ll be rubbing against you and showing her affection. She would be fine with older, cat-savvy children who can give her space and respect her boundaries. She needs a quieter home because she gets startled easily and is afraid of larger animals (she’d prefer to be your only pet, please). She’d do best with people who work from home or are around a lot, who can work with her to help her gain confidence and continue to feel comfortable and safe. If you’re ready to help this beautiful girl relax and feel safe in her forever home, Valerie would love to meet you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Zorro and Scar (Bonded Pair), Male and Female
Domestic Longhair, 2.5 years old
Zorro (black and white) and Scar (tortie/calico) are two funny, friendly, 2.5-year-old bonded cats looking for their forever home! Each a little different, they will bring snuggles and laughter to wherever they land.
Zorro (who we affectionately refer to as ""Big Boy"") is 18 pounds of self-assurance and love. A cat that can be both independent and a snuggle-bug (depending on his mood), Zorro spends most of his time taking luxuriously long naps on chairs, beds, the tops of cat trees and in sunbeams. While he probably won't snuggle with you on the couch, he'll find his way to the foot of the bed while you sleep and might lay right next to you with his feet touching you if you play video games. This boy loves a good belly rub, but not as much as he loves his dry food! Scar (""Little Girl,"" at least compared to Zorro!) is the cutest kitty around. Not only is she beautiful, but she's very sweet and affectionate; this girl wants to talk to you, walk all over your keyboard, sit in your lap while you're working, or lay on your legs while you watch TV. Watch your feet - Scar will follow you around and might trip you (with love)! She is happy to spend her mornings at the top of the cat tree, and her nights roaming the house crying with joy about her favorite green ball (which she carries around with her everywhere). This little lady ALSO loves tummy rubs - in fact, she's the only cat we've ever met who wants you brush her belly. The only thing she might love more than you is wet food. Both cats are low-to-medium energy - while we've certainly seen some zoomies and both cats will play hard once in a while, they spend an enormous amount of time napping or trying to hang out near their people. We don't notice them playing together all that often or playing much with our resident cat, but sometimes we hear what sounds like a horse running around the house at top speed (usually the very large Zorro) when the zoomies hit. Scar has a history of urinary issues, but those issues cleared up immediately upon entering our home. Her left eye also waters - the vet is not concerned, but we've noted that it comes and goes. Both Zorro and Scar are slightly overweight (2-3 lbs. each), so a good weight-loss diet would be best, to help them live their happiest and healthiest lives. This sweet pair currently lives with two adults and our resident cat in a house. We think their ideal home will be either adults-only or one with gentle older children, and where they are the only pets. Although we haven't seen them interact with dogs, we don't think that would be the right fit for them. (There’s a slight possibility they could adjust to a similarly low-key cat, but introductions would have to be very gradual.) We could see Zorro doing well with younger children, but Scar is a little easily spooked, and we think her litter box issues could come back in a higher-stress home. However, both cats are gentle and sweet. Their new home needs to be ready to help them lose some weight, including monitoring their food intake and getting them exercise. They also love cat trees, cat nip and cat grass! Although Scar and Zorro are both very friendly, they take some time to warm up to new people and other cats. Scar is the more easily spooked of the two, and Zorro is very attentive to whether Scar feels comfortable. Both cats spent the first day crawling all over us to investigate their new situation, but Scar especially needed a lot of time to come out from under the bed after that. When we have people over, both cats are curious but tend to retreat to a safe spot. Ultimately, we adore these two kitties, and while we can't keep them ourselves, we know they will bring endless joy to their next family! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Merida and Elinor (Bonded Pair), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1-2 years old
Merida and Elinor are a 1-year-old bonded pair looking for a new place to call home!
Merida (grey) is very loving and affectionate while Elinor (white/cream) is more reserved and quiet. They love to play together and run around before taking a long nap. Merida likes to eat anything in sight and explore her environment, always making sure it’s safe for her little sister. They are relaxed most of the time but love to play once they get acclimated. This may take a while as they’re both pretty reserved, but they will gain confidence and trust with loving, patient people. They currently live in an apartment with just their foster mom so it’s a very quiet space for them; as a result, they have been able to open up and show their true personalities. Their ideal home would probably be similar to their situation now, with less people and less stimulation. They haven’t met any dogs or other cats yet, and I think they would do best with an adults-only home, or one with very gentle, cat-savvy older children who can give them the space they need to gain trust. I think a smaller space has also helped Elinor, the more reserved sister, feel more confident, since she had a manageable area with which to get acclimated. They both have long, luxiourous coats, so their forever humans should also commit to frequent brushing of their beautiful coats, to keep them looking and feeling their best. This duo are so lovable and the bond that comes from a more reserved cat opening up and trusting you is so worth it. These girls will totally thrive in a quiet and laid back space where they are given the time and space to slowly adjust at their own pace.In the right caring, gentle and understanding home, these girls will turn from to reserved caterpillars into social butterflies. So, if you have a patient disposition and a quiet predictable home, these girls would love to meet you. ---- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Big Mac, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Big Mac is a 3-year-old affectionate companion looking for his forever home!
This handsome fellow wakes up starry-eyed and ready for breakfast (doubling as an alarm clock). He likes to stay nearby and supervise what I’m up to as I get ready for work. After he eats a meal, he usually gets the zoomies and races around my apartment. If I don’t have time to play, I toss a toy his way and he swats it around and entertains himself. He can fall asleep anywhere (if it’s near whomever is home) and he enjoys dark spaces such as in a closet or under a blanket. An avid naturalist, this guy enjoys watching the birds outside. He is always quick to greet me by the door when I come home. Big Mac loves to play soccer! Whether it's an aluminum foil ball or a bouncy ball, he loves to run around and chase. He also likes to kick around longer toys like a paper towel roll and string. Big Mac prefers to cuddle on his own terms. He doesn’t necessarily enjoy being held and/or picked up but sometimes wants to sleep as close as possible on your chest or even on your head. He gives a lot of kisses and can occasionally lick. He will scold when he feels shorted on attention, especially first thing after I come home. This guy is high energy!! His spurts are always followed by long naps but when his pupils get big, he’s ready to play. He doesn’t climb or jump on top of counters very frequently but instead, jumps straight into the air when he’s excited. He likes to play with me, sometimes chasing after my foot if I'm walking around or playfully nipping my arm. When Big Mac has the zoomies, he will run around at full speed like a bullet. He is super easy to play with, but he will require your attention if he gets bored or under-stimulated. He eats well and is good at staying hydrated. This cute quirky guy loves to play in the (dry) bathtub where he bats at the curtains or chases his tail. I live in a small two-bedroom apartment with a large cozy couch that is perfect for hanging out with Big Mac; I also let him sleep with me on my bed (if he isn’t too hyper). Sometimes he will sleep at my feet but at other times, he will sleep on the pillow next to me. I have a roommate, and Big Mac is friendly and brave with new people. This lovely boy needs room to roam and sprint around. He doesn’t like to be alone, so a work-from-home situation would suit him perfectly. Not sure if he will do well with another cat or get jealous, but he would be good with older children and prefer a family who is around frequently to give him attention. He loves to look out the window, so some well-placed windowsills and/or cat perches would be a plus. Big Mac doesn’t like his nails being cut but will squirm away rather than fight or act aggressively in any way. I've never seen him hiss and he only swats at me when he thinks we're playing. He is quite a clingy guy who insists on even joining me in the bathroom, but he is a ball of love who adds so much joy and cuddles! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Link, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 5 years old
Link is a 5-year-old, lovable, chatty purr machine who is looking for his forever home!
This handsome fellow is an early riser who thinks his breakfast should magically appear right away. Of course, after his breakfast, he must give himself a bath. Then he wants to play and loves jumping up to get his felt toy on a pole and sometimes decides that you need to exercise too by taking off with it. Then it’s time to be entertained by watching birds and squirrels. Finally, after following you around to supervise that you are doing all of your daily activities correctly, it’s time for a nap. Link either climbs up on your lap (and stays there for a long time) or jumps on the bed to take a nap, where he wants to crawl under the blankets for the ultimate comfortable sleep experience. This furry boy can be both high energy and a couch potato, depending on his mood. Sometimes he gets the zoomies and makes his cardio rounds all over the house. Link currently lives with his two foster humans in an apartment. This guy’s ideal home would be to have at least 1 person home with him most of the time, as he doesn’t like to be left alone for too long. He needs to be able to sleep on the bed with his people. He loves to be brushed. He also likes to rub his fur on his brush, so we often leave it on the floor for him. He can’t be around boy cats as it stresses him out. (Dogs, select female cats, and gentle older kids over 12 are all okay.) He would probably like to have another calm female cat around to be his special friend. Link is a homebody who does not like car rides at all (except for necessary vet visits)—so no extended car journeys to the cabin for this guy! He is a social eater, so he needs someone to sit with him while he eats (can you blame him?). He will always need his medicine and special vet food for his chronic constipation, to help him feel his best. Alas, in his pre-foster life, Link was declawed, so he needs to be an indoor-only cat. Link is a big love bug! He is a talking purr machine! He is an extraordinary cat who is looking for an extraordinary family to give all the love he wants and needs. He loves to follow you everywhere, cuddle up in your lap, and enjoy all the attention you can give him. He has the cutest snores. He is a little spoiled, but who wouldn’t want that? If you’re ready for a very cozy spring and summer ahead, why not add Link to your family? ---- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Frankie, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 12 years old
Frankie is a 12.5-year-old cuddly old man looking for his forever home!! This small, sweet guy loves attention and doesn’t like being alone very often; in fact, he’ll follow you around the house looking for pets! When you sit down, he’ll be right there to sit on your lap and make biscuits, his favorite activity.
Frankie is a calm guy who doesn’t run around too much—he'd rather focus on snuggling! Although he’s relatively quiet, he isn’t shy about meowing for attention when he sees you, his beloved person. He demands that you use both hands for extra-thorough petting! Frankie, sadly, was fully declawed in his previous life, but he gets around great! He still likes to pretend-scratch things, make biscuits, and he’ll try to grab onto you with his paws for attention (his signature move). He takes medication to keep the pain from declawing at bay. This lovely boy also has hyperthyroidism, so he requires a topical medication and a steroid to keep him happy and healthy which is no big deal! This handsome fellow currently lives with his foster mom and her roommate in an apartment. Frankie likes to hang out in small spaces when you aren’t home but otherwise isn’t picky; as long as he has someone to be with and snuggle up to, he’s happy. He’s unknown with other cats, dogs, or children, but he is devoted to his humans and would do best in a home with people who work from home or are around a lot to spend lots of time with him. Are you ready to help a loving senior guy give you lots of affection while he lives out his golden years? If so, please consider adding the charming Frankie to your family. ----- Frankie still has a couple vaccinations he needs to receive. As soon as he gets those, he'll be ready to go to his forever home! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Rick, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 4 years old
Rick is a 4-year-old, playful cat looking for his forever home! Rick is a reserved little guy who likes his alone time and space. However, when he’s in the mood, expect frequent meows for attention.
Rick LOVES to play and often prefers playing over treats or pets! His favorite toys are dangle toys and balls. This sleek panther also appreciates a good window view where he can keep an eye on the neighborhood. Although he can be frequently spotted sleeping, when awake Rick has lots of energy. He will need a home that is willing to sit and play with him during his happy cardio play workouts. Rick currently lives in a quiet apartment with 2 people and another cat. Rick will need a quiet, slow-paced home in order to thrive. A house with no children or active animals would suit him best, as loud noises and sudden movements causes him to panic a bit. Experience with a quiet, cautious cat would be appreciated, as Rick needs loving, patient humans who are willing to let him progress at his own pace. Overall, this handsome fellow is lovely but still a bit cautious. He needs a quiet home with little activity. Rick also has a head tilt and a slightly wobbly walk, but those traits just add character! So, if you work from home or are around a lot and are ready to help a sweet cat feel safe and cozy in his new happy life, please consider adding Rick to your family! --- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Pookie (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Pookie is a 3-year-old loving adult male cat looking for his forever home! This sweet boy with the perfectly outlined nose is very content to lounge around and do nothing but prefers to cuddle up close to his person and have you pet him.
His favorite thing to play with is his Cat Nip ball. Pookie may take a little time to gain confidence and feel safe in his forever home, but once he does he is an aboslute loveball of delight. This handsome fellow's adjustment period took about 3 weeks. He does like to have a place to hide —under a bed, behind a desk, or in a closet. But who can really blame him, no one likes to nap in the bright light! In the beginning we used a cat brush to reach out to him and pet him and that is what motivated him to move closer and closer until eventually he allowed for pets. Now comfortable, he comes when called, he often seeks affection and meows for attention. He has also started to show excitement about knowing he is going to be able to snuggle and receive. He jumps up on the bed and rolls around making eye contact, as if asking us to come give him affection. Pookie currently lives with 2 adults in a house and he loves to give and receive attention from either person. He is also living in a home with a dog, but the animals have been kept separated by a gate, but can hear and see each other. He has not felt comfortable enough yet to explore the area that the dog is in. He has spent some time with other cats and prefers his own space but warmed up to having the other cats around. Pookie's ideal forever home would be calm and peaceful and would likely feel best being the only pet in the house. This cute guy would also love to live with someone who works from home or is around a lot, and who would enjoy talking to him, holding him, and petting him often. Pookie is very smart—he especially knows when a treat is being offered. He is so ready to leave his rough days behind and enjoy the cozy, loving indoor life in a loving, compassionate home. Could that be with you? Pookie is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. Ryker and Muffin (Bonded Pair), Male and Female
Domestic Medium Hair, 1.5 years old
Ryker and Muffin are a sweet, gorgeous one-year old pair of friends looking for a loving, patient forever home to call their own.
Ryker is a floofy floofball with floofy tufts of hair adorably springing from behind his ears and huge gorgeous amber eyes that take in everything. He loves observing the world from his high cat tree perches and has just recently discovered the pleasure of accepting scritches and caresses. Muffin has the cutest little forever kitten face with crystal blue eyes and a charming spray of gray spatter over his face and tail. He loves churros and is open to having his nose booped but is still wary of the big two-legged creatures roaming around and disturbing the peace. Muffin is curious and playful and especially fond of tunnels and ball track toys. This sweet pair has a medium level of energy. They play and explore but are mostly calm and content to entertain themselves. They love looking out windows and lounging in high perches. Because they come from a hoarding situation, they will require a quiet, predictable home with cat-savvy people experienced with under-socialized cats. No kids under fourteen, please. Ryker and Muffin have made great strides but are just at the beginning of blossoming into their best and bravest selves and will need a forever family that is patient, patient, patient and unconditionally loving to help them continue gaining confidence and trust. They would get along with other respectful cats, and, although they haven't met any dogs, they would likely do fine with cat-savvy, respectful canine siblings. Slow introductions would of course be essential. If you’d like to give these sweet best friends the cozy, loving, calm life they so richly deserve, please consider adding Ryker and Muffin to your home and your heart. Take Off, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Take Off is a handsome 3-year-old dude looking to cruise into his forever home! He's a pro at giving you looks full of attitude but is truly a playful lovebug.
This charming fellow is playful and likes to hang around near or cuddle with his foster. He enjoys playing in the cat tunnel, ball track toys, kicker toys, wand chasers, and of course catnip. He tends to follow the foster around and shortly after initiating pets he will plop down and show his belly. He likes a bit of belly rubs and really seems to like chin scratches. His foster works from home and he enjoys relaxing in the spot normally occupied by a keyboard so he can partially rest on the foster's arm and get pets. He can be a purring machine and enjoys lap cuddles sometimes. He'll also cross his front paws when resting like a distinguished gentleman. Take Off is a medium-energy cat who enjoys lots of stimulation and interactive playtime with throwing toys (any cat nip toys or balls) and wand chasers. He would do best in a home with forever humans who work from home or are around a lot, so he can get sufficient attention and cheerfully keep his people company. It is recommended that he is not in a home with kids unless they are older and able to understand cat cues. Take Off typically prefers to initiate pets, and can sometimes view hands and feet as toys. Having various fun, engaging playthings around the house will help distract and redirect him from this habit. He would likely not be a good fit with a shy or easily scared cat since he's a larger cat and likes to wrestle sometimes. Large, chill, friendly cats who like to play would be okay. (He’s never met a dog before.) This lovely boy had a vet stay 2 days after coming into care for a urinary blockage, so he's on prescription urinary food and his litter box needs to be monitored to ensure he's urinating normally. He's also taking gabapentin twice a day for some sensitivity on his back (capsules that are emptied out and mixed with the wet food). It took some time for Take Off to build trust with his foster and will likely require patience, love, and compassion with his forever humans to do the same. Coming from such a rough start, Take Off really needs love, and just has to gain the confidence and tools to channel his energy and realize that so many people can be good and kind. If you’re ready to launch into an adventure of kindness, growth, and compassion, please consider adding Take Off to your family. ----- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Stevie loves to snuggle with her person in bed and has quite the purr machine in her chest! She also loves to play cell phone games with you and will keep you company while watching TV. Nacho is very chill and always down for a nap by himself or some playtime with a mouse toy. His future humans should make sure to brush his lustrous coat regularly, so he can continue to be his dapper self. This guy is on the mellow side since he's a bit older, but his affection is ageless! He currently lives in an apartment, where he enjoys the simple life. Nacho loves a quiet home with just one or two people. He doesn't like kids, dogs or other cats, as he prefers to soak up all of the attention for himself. Hallow and Ween (Bonded Pair), Males
Domestic Shorthair, 1-2 years old
Hallow and Ween are the sweetest 1.5-year-old brothers who are looking for their forever home together! In case you're wondering who's who, Hallow is the sleek panther boy with yellow eyes as bright as a full moon, and Ween is the perfectly chonky orange tabby with the most boopable pink nose.
These boys love to be around people and are very affectionate and friendly. They often follow their people around looking for a pat, scratch or snuggle. Like every dynamic duo, Hallow and Ween are like Yin and Yang. Where Hallow is gentle and quiet, Ween is outgoing and quick to adapt. Overall though, both boys are always up for a cuddle session. Both Hallow and Ween have a playful and energetic disposition, enjoying the esteemed hobby of wrestle-and-chase. While full with boyhood energy, they never forget their love for one another, and wrestle-chase sessions often end in a kitten cuddle puddle of grooming. They are also talkative boys who enjoy engaging their humans with their chatty meows. Hallow and Ween currently live together with 1 human in an apartment. They get along well with other cats and kids, but have never met a dog. Hallow and Ween would thrive in a home or apartment where they are free to run around to their hearts desire and have humans around often for them to interact with and fill their snuggle buckets. Overall, Hallow and Ween are the perfect young adult cat duo who are sure to bring lots of spooky joy to your life. So, if you’re looking for no tricks but lots of treats for the rest of your Hallow-Ween’s, look no further, these kiddos are the cats for you. ------ There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Peachy (Special Needs), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 year old
Peachy is a perfectly quirky, little 2-year-old orange cat who will keep you on your toes, currently seeking his forever home!
This adorable boy isn’t a lap cat but does enjoy being held and receiving pets on his little head. Peachy can be independent and aloof sometimes because he’s staring into space (orange cat brain cell loading, maybe?) but he loves to play and with the slight sound of a bell, you will find Peachy there! He never misses out on an opportunity to play or eat. He is fairly vocal about what he wants, and this guy knows what he wants! Have you heard of a cat who opens doors? Yep, cats are persistent and smart—you shouldn’t underestimate them. Peachy has indeed learned to open doors during his time at his foster home—who needs opposable thumbs, right? The resident cat who’s been there for three years doesn’t even know how Peachy does it! Peachy currently lives with 3 humans and 3 cats. This guy would absolutely thrive in an environment where he is the only cat (if his people are around frequently) or with other cat friends to pal around with; he is kind and lovely to get along with. One thing to note in his resume: his unique door-opening ability means that if the dry cat food is kept behind that door, Peachy will come to the rescue and grant every cat’s wishes for a feast! His forever family should plan accordingly. Aside from opening doors, Peachy loves to sunbathe in the warmest spot, chirp when you bother him in his sleep, and play with cardboard boxes. Peachy has a rare form of diabetes—diabetes insipidus—but as long as he has access to plenty of water and litter boxes, he can live a healthy, normal life. If anything, Peachy is an ambassador for proper hydration! If you have any questions or concerns about this medical issue, please reach out to Pet Haven and we’ll be able to share more while helping you navigate this with knowledge and compassion. Spring and summer are just around the corner, and what says summer more than a sweet and lovely Peach(y)! Consider adding this cutie-pie to your family. Nymphadora and Oberon (Bonded Pair), Female and Male
Domestic Shorthair and Longhair, 6 months old
Oberon and Nymphadora are a 6-month old kitten duo looking for their forever home together. Nymphadora is shy and loving and Oberon is playful.
Nymphadora is an adorable tabby girl who is sweet and very affectionate once she gets to know you. She might start out shy but will warm up with encouragement. She loves to be scratched above her tail. Once she feels comfortable, this pretty lady loves to explore her environment and eat any lickable treats like Churus! Her favorite toys are made of soft rabbit fur, which she likes to carry in her mouth. Nymphadora is a medium-energy cat. She likes to play but also needs time to be calm and observe those around her. This little beauty is reserved and may need some coaxing and plenty of space to feel brave enough to seek affection from her humans. She will need to go home with her bonded brother Oberon, who will help her relax into the cozy indoor life. Oberon is a cute white-and-tabby boy who loves to play. Everything becomes a toy in his paws! His favorite toys are plastic and make clicking noises on hard floors. He also loves feather toys on strings. Oberon is high energy and requires lots of play and exercise. This athletic boy plays well by himself but also enjoys chasing after toys on strings with his humans. These two sweetie pies currently live in a house with two humans and nine other cats, including their siblings and momma cat. Because Nymphadora is still reserved, she would do best in a quiet home with lots of places to hide, where she can get accustomed to her new environment. She would prefer patient owners who will respect her space while giving her lots of quiet affection. Oberon would also appreciate having owners who enjoy playing with him daily, and where there is perhaps another cat or two (besides Nymphadora) for him to wrestle with. He is also very affectionate and loves to cuddle with other cats and humans on the bed at night. They get along well with other cats and gentle, older children; they haven’t met any dogs yet. If you’d like to add double the fun to your home, please consider adding Nymphadora and Oberon to your family. ------- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Vander (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Vander is a 3-year-old, loving and playful cat looking for his forever home! Vander enjoys spending time in his cat tree, sunbathing, and napping.
He's an athletic fellow who loves to climb and jump onto higher surfaces. He relishes the panoramic view and is a pro at keeping tabs on his humans from above. Vander is also very playful and can often be found rolling around in his cat tunnels, making his humans laugh and smile with his silly antics. If you can't find Vander up high in his cat tree, you’ll probably find him on a human’s lap, soaking up love and attention. Vander is FIV+, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. Boots (Hospice), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 10 years
Boots is a super sweet, nearly 10-year-old cat looking for a human (or couple) to love and spend her remaining days with. She is an affectionate sweetheart who will lie down right by your head and knead your chest and neck. (She is always happiest being on or her human and enjoys snuggling under blankets.)
She is fine with being at the vet but is not a fan of the carrier. Occasionally, Boots will have a spicy moment if you do something she doesn’t like, and will bat or gently nip in protest, but she will never hurt anyone. This beautiful senior lady has stage 3 kidney disease, as well as the cat equivalent of breast cancer. Therefore, she is considered a hospice kitty. This sweet lady will need loving care to keep her comfortable during her kitty hospice. Boots spends a significant portion of the day sleeping under a blanket. She will come out periodically as she wants to, to get love from a human. She is free-fed and gets fresh wet food (unlimited, with Miralax added) 4 times a day. Every other day, she gets a liquid med (Prednisolone) and subcutaneous fluids every other day. Boots currently lives in a foster home with a couple and one other cat. Her ideal home is a kind, calm, relaxed environment, with humans with no other animals or children, who can give her as much love as possible before she crosses the rainbow bridge. This sweet lady deserves to live out her days surrounded by attention, care, and kindness. Can you gently walk beside her on her journey?

Scrabble (Special Needs) Female
Domestic Longhair, 4 year old
Scrabble is sassy 4-year-old, long-haired lady looking for her forever home. She is a retired mama who is done raising her kittens and is ready for the easy life with plenty of toys and treats!
Scrabble is fearless and outgoing from the first time she meets you. She isn’t much of a cuddler but likes to be near people. This stripey gal often likes to sit on the couch or the floor near you while you watch TV, but she’s not typically going to get in your lap (unless you have a Churu). She goes nuts for almost any kind of toy but particularly loves balls or springs to bat around on the ground and the coveted laser pointer. Once she "catches" her toys, she proudly brings them to her humans to show off her skills. She is super happy to entertain herself with her toys or birdwatching out the window; she also loves giving herself a manicure by scratching, so it’s a good idea to have a couple of scratching posts or pads for her. Scrabble can be a bit mouthy when she is in the middle of playing, similar to the way kittens can be a bit nippy—it's not malicious and does not hurt. Scrabble loves food both wet and dry; she might benefit from something like an automatic or timed feeder, so she doesn’t bug her humans too much when she is hungry. Besides mealtime, she is a very tidy kitty and takes very good care of her long soft fur; her forever humans will need to brush her regularly to help her keep her lovely coat in tip-top shape. Scrabble uses the litter box very well. Scrabble truly enjoys being in the mix of household activities. She is fairly high energy for an adult cat and is always happy to be playing. Her other main priority is making sure she gets her breakfast and dinner on time! She is very food motivated and will help herself to any human food she can find laying out and about, so she'll need a home with humans who are conscious about keeping food in cupboards and out of kitty reach. Scrabble lives with two adults in a quiet home with several other older cats. Her high energy can be off-putting to the other cats (she loves playing amped up games of chase, and they aren’t always into it), so she primarily lives separately from them in her foster home. Scrabble does not seem to mind life as a solo kitty however, because it means more attention from you. She is very outgoing and would do well in a variety of households, as long as her people were around a lot to give her the affection she seeks. Since she can get nippy when playing, she may not be a best fit for young kids. She would be better with older kids and is currently unknown regarding dogs. This energetic, adorable gal is so ready to live the good life in a cozy, loving home that can support her vibrant personality and give her the care, attention and company she enjoys. After all, who doesn’t love a good game of Scrabble?

Finnegan, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Hi! My name is Finn and I am a sweet, snuggly and playful 3-year-old cat looking for my forever home!
I have changed homes a few times in my life, so I can be more reserved when entering a new environment and may take a little bit of time to establish trust and show my cute little face; but once I start getting comfortable, my playful, curious and snuggly personality will come out. Some of my favorite things to do include checking out my new environment and getting to know all the nooks and crannies in it, especially high up perches! Once I get really comfortable, you can often find me sprinting around the house, showing off my athletic capabilities. I really enjoy playing with toys that I can pounce on/bat/chase, as well as watching the world go by through the windows. I am quite the snuggler, and in an ideal world, I would love for my humans to be available frequently for my snuggly tendencies, especially in the evening, but even more so at night. At night, you’ll find me sharing your bed so we can snuggle all night long! I do have a couple of quirks that you should know about me. First, while I like being scratched, sometimes I get a little sensitive and overstimulated by a lot of touching. I enjoy being scratched on the head but do not really enjoy being touched anywhere else on my body. If you watch my body language, I’ll let you know when I’m done or it’s not the time to pet me. There are also times where I see my human’s hands as a toy, but I’m really good at being redirected to my actual toys. It is not known if I have ever lived with any other animals, so the best assumption is that I would be a great solo cat! I would prefer to live with older children who know how to respect my space when I request it. At the end of the day, all I crave is having a safe space to be the best cat I can be (and I think I’m a pretty great cat!). If you can play with me, give me love and attention, respect my body language, and provide me with this space, I will make a very loyal, playful and loving companion! Butterball and Baby Turnip, Males
Domestic Shorthair, 1.5 years
Butterball (tabby, 2 years and 9 months) and Baby Turnip (white/tabby, 1 year and 9 months) are two reserved, handsome goofballs looking for their forever home! This quiet bonded pair is learning to trust their people, gain confidence, and enjoy the cozy indoor life.
When these two came into our care they were super shut down and wouldn't let anyone touch them. In the time they have been in foster care, they have made leaps and bounds socially! At this point Butterball loves attention. While he is still skittish around any quick movements he will let his humans pet him. If he ever feels uncomfortable he will simply leave. Butterball loves to lay on the couch and absolutely adores lazy mornings in bed. Turnip prefers to be left alone but he can usually be found lounging close by. Butterball and Turnip are SOOO bonded and love to wrestle and then curl up together for a nap. Both cats have relatively low energy but they do get random bursts of zoomies. Turnip doesn't usually play with his humans but loves to bat toys around the floor by himself. Butterball doesn't usually care to play with toys and would rather get pets. Butterball and Baby Turnip currently live with one human and no other pets in an apartment. These sweeties would thrive in a quiet and predictable home with engaged, compassionate humans who are willing to give them the time they need to learn to trust and love while settling into the joys of a warm, safe, loving home. This will look like giving them space when they need it and helping them build up to gentle pets and affection. These lovely boys do well with other gentle cats and children over 12; they have not met any dogs to date. It takes a special soul to help cats that have had a challenging start in life learn that humans are good and can be a source of love, affection, and care, but the results are worth it. Butterball and Baby Turnip are so ready to go on this journey with the right people. Could that be with you? ------ Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Raja, Female
Domestic Medium Hair, 7 years
This 8-year-old medium-haired fluffer is as regal as her name, which means "King" in Hindi. True to her title, Raja loves being treated like royalty and knows how to command a household with her charming yet independent personality. Her stunning coat adds to her majestic aura, and don’t forget about her adorable toe beans—they’re as cute as they are paw-sitively perfect!
Raja is a low-energy kitty who enjoys the finer things in life, like lounging on her cat tree, basking in sunny spots, and keeping an eye on the resident squirrels through the window. She’s a playful fluffer at heart, entertaining herself with toys (and occasionally losing them under furniture). Raja can be quite the chatterbox and will let you know when she needs something, but her appreciation for your efforts is always clear. This queen prefers a calm, structured home where her boundaries are respected. She’s skittish around new people and large gatherings, so a quiet environment without young kids is necessary. She hasn't met any other cats or dogs yet, but may be open to them with the right introduction. While Raja isn’t a fan of being picked up, she loves gentle affection on her terms and enjoys exploring her space. Her ideal family will be patient, understanding, and willing to accommodate her routine. Raja has some special needs that require a little extra care—she has arthritis that is managed with monthly injections and occasional ear issues that are easily treated with provided medication. She gets nervous when left alone for long periods, so a family that’s around often or can provide consistent companionship is ideal. Trips to the vet stress her out, so she needs a dose of gabapentin before visits to keep her calm. Otherwise, her only other health consideration is that she has not been declawed while in our care. If you’re looking for a sophisticated, loyal, and occasionally sassy companion to brighten your days, Raja is ready to rule your heart and home. Apply to meet this royal kitty today—she’s sure to make your life paws-itively amazing!

Yuumi, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 7 yrs
Yuumi is a 7-year-old, playful goofball looking for her forever home! She’s full of personality and affection, always wanting to be by your side.
While she enjoys her cat naps, Yuumi also has bursts of energy and loves to play. She'll happily chase after catnip toys and feather wands, claim the best window seat to watch squirrels and passing cars, and is also a skilled mouser. If she doesn’t get enough playtime, she might turn your feet into her next target! Once you become her person, she’ll spend many nights cuddled up next to you. Just be sure to keep an eye on your dinner plate—Yuumi is a sneaky food thief. Yuumi was found in a snowbank with severe frostbite, leading to nerve damage and her tail amputation. She has spent over a year recovering and adjusting to medications, proving to be one of the strongest, most resilient cats out there. She takes her meds like a champ and will shower you with love in return for your care. She is also slightly overweight and would benefit from a home where she can stay active. She thrives in a home where her humans are around often. When making friends, she also does well with older children (12+) who can respect her boundaries, as she can get overstimulated at times. Yuumi does not get along well with other cats and prefers to be the only cat in the home. If you’re looking for a spunky, loving, and playful companion who has overcome the odds, Yummi is ready to snuggle up to you! - - - - -- - - - There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal’s history is unknown. and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Snoopy (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1-2 years old
Snoopy is a 1-1/2-year-old, playful and snuggly kitty looking for his forever home! This sweet guy is very dog-like, in that he prefers to spend time with the people who care for him and will find his own private space to hunker down when faced with the unknown.
He is a short and stocky little guy who loves cat nip toys and springs! He enjoys following you around and loves to sprawl all over you. This handsome fellow enjoys cat tunnels and cat towers and is always ready to savor some window time in the sun. Snoopy is pretty chill. He plays for a while and then wants to just be on you, getting all the attention and keeping you company. He currently lives with one adult and my 14-year-old son in a house; he has his own space where he is kept separate from the resident cats. Snoopy doesn’t like to be alone, so would thrive with a forever human who works from home or is retired. He needs to be the only cat and live in a calm, quieter house. Snoopy only takes a short time to trust, provided his people can help him feel secure and confident in his new home. If you’d like to give this adorable boy the relaxed safe haven he is seeking, please consider adding Snoopy to your family. Snoopy is also FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. Princess and Nana Pudding (FIV+, Bonded Pair), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 8 months old
Nanna Pudding and Princess are 8-month-old divas (in the best way) looking for their forever homes! These gals are sisters and are deeply bonded. They lack life experience and as such can be a bit shy and reserved upon initially meeting a new human, but they warm up quickly.
Both girls are friendly, love cuddling and playing. They particularly enjoy cuddling and playing with each other. Once they become comfortable, they are pretty easy-going cats who have embraced the comforts of indoor home life. As you'll notice, Nana Pudding only has one eye. Due to an issue with her left eye, she underwent eye removal surgery a couple weeks ago and is feeling much better without it. She is healing perfectly and is not fazed at all. Plus, we think she looks even cuter as a one eyed panther! Princess and Nana Pudding are currently living in a home with 5 other cats and two humans. They get along well with the other cats in the home, and due to their medium-energy level would thrive in either a house or apartment. They would love to have a human or humans who are around on a regular basis. They haven’t yet met a dog, and would prefer to live with children over the age of 12 due to their initial skittish behavior. Princess and Nana Pudding are both FIV+, but that doesn’t mean they can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments.
