Finding a Good Match When Adopting a Cat

Our cats that are available for adoption currently live in foster homes while waiting to find their own forever homes.  We're able to find out more information on the cat's personality, needs, and what sort of home might be the best fit.  We want to make sure it's a good match for both adopters and the cats.  Our goal is to have happy pets and happy people! We have been "match-making" for almost 70 years and look forward to helping you find your new family member.

Kitten Disclaimer

We at Pet Haven advocate for kittens under the age of 16 weeks to go into an adoptive home with another kitten, or another resident cat or dog. We see many behavior issues arise from kittens raised without appropriate feline interaction, and we want to help avoid this outcome with this suggestion. We only want to set you and the kitten up for success! We want to prepare you for behaviors you will almost certainly see and have only the kittens’ best interest at heart, and your satisfaction as a pet parent. We are happy to chat about what kittens need and how to help you be a successful kitten parent!

His whole being radiates a pure, wild sweetness, flitting through night woods with little melodious cries, on some cryptic errand. There is also an aura of doom and sadness about this trusting little creature. He has been abandoned many times over the centuries." -  William S. Burroughs, author of The Cat Inside.

Nimbus, Female
Domestic Short Hair, 11 weeks
Nimbus is a smart, playful, 11-week-old kitten looking for her forever home! This pretty stripey girl spends her days with her siblings and Mom, playing tag and exploring.
She has typical kitten energy, playing hard and sleeping hard in equal measure! Nimbus, her sibs and mom Ramona are living in a single family home with 3 adults, resident cats and a silly GSD mix. They have a private suite, but can't wait to explore the rest of the house! Nimbus would love a home where she can run, play and sleep cozily when she runs out of ""power"". She loves to look out at the world, preferably from a high perch. Nimbus will need to go home with either one of her cloudy siblings, Cumulus and Cirrus, or to a home with an active young resident cat to show her the ropes. She hasn’t met a dog yet, but would be fine with gentle, cat-friendly children over five. Nimbus is a sweet, affectionate girl, and would love a family to play with! If you’re ready for double the fun this summer and fall, and are eagerly anticipating some nice cool, cloudy weather, Nimbus is here to bring you all the joy!

Totoro, Female
Domestic Short Hair, 2 years
Totoro is a two-year-old, friendly cat looking for her forever home! This beautiful panther was a good mom to her kittens, but now she's ready for her next adventure!
She loves everyone she meets and starts purring as soon as anyone gives her attention, rolling over for belly rubs. She's pretty laid back, content to chill with her humans as they work or relax around the house. Totoro has a pretty moderate energy level--she'll play with a toy or wrestle with her kittens for a little while, but then it's time to take a nap or chill on the cat tree. This pretty lady currently lives in a house in the suburbs with two adult humans and lots of other cats. It took a while for her to get comfortable with the resident felines, but with a slow intro, they became buddies. Totoro would do well in almost any home where she can get some attention and belly rubs, and be treated like the queen she is. She could get along with another chill cat as a companion, or be a solo kitty with humans who are around a lot. Although she’s not a dog fan, Totoro would be fine with gentle children over five. If you’re looking to spoil a sweet mama who’s ready to be the center of attention, this sleek princess is so excited to meet you!

Prue, Male
Domestic Short Hair, 8 months
Prue is a young, happy-go-lucky, 8-month-old orange guy looking for his forever home! This cute boy is a sweetheart with lots of energy and sooo many purrs.
From his early days being abandoned with his siblings in a box on the side of an icy Iowa road, he's blossomed into an amazing, confident companion! He loves being involved with whatever his family is doing - his favorites so far include supervising sewing and bike repair projects, investigating cold drinks (yours or his), carrying his toys around for you to throw for him, keeping an eye on cooking projects, and plopping down for a snooze next to whoever is around. One of his quirks is that when he's done moving he just....falls over. No grace, no poise, no dignity - just one second he's standing and then next second he's thunked down onto his side. It's hilarious every time! Prue is a typical young cat - he's got the energy of a kitten in a gangly teenager's body. He plays hard (on his own, with people, and with other cats) and sleeps hard (so many adorable twitchy dreams!). He's most active and engaged in the mornings and late afternoon/evenings. During the workday, he loves to curl up and nap on his foster's desk or next to someone (cat or human) on the couch. Around meal time he is READY for his wet food and some more antics and playtime! Prue currently lives in a house with two adults and another cat. He likes it just fine but would prefer more activity! He's met a toddler and wasn't scared at all - he would likely thrive in a family with kids who share his energy level, and/or with another cat friend to play with. He loves having the space to dash up and down the stairs in pursuit of whatever or whoever is also using the stairs. He has lots of little ambush spots where he can wait for his humans to appear and do something interesting for him to join in on. He enjoys spending time on his catio when the weather is nice, watching birds and bugs and the world outside. Prue would be happiest in an active household with other pets, kids, and/or a hands-on adult to interact with him. He is good with other cats, and while he hasn't met a dog yet he probably would enjoy that too! He is filled with energy, curiosity and a zest for life that will keep his future family entertained for years to come. This guy is an acrobat, jumping and twirling after wand toys. He has a little tent that he loves zooming in and out of, and he often carries his toys in his mouth from one floor to another. He goes through phases of being a lap cat and being a next-to-your-lap cat, but always loves being close by. When he sees a member of his family, his little striped tail goes straight up (just a little curve at the end, because why not?) and he runs over purring to say hello! If you are looking for a cat that acts more like a dog in all the best ways, Prue is the guy for you!

Speedy & Tiger, Male
Domestic Short Hair, 3 years & 1 year
Meet Speedy (1-year-old) and Tiger (3-years-old), two strapping young kitties out to steal your heart! Both these boys love to rough and tumble through the house.
Speedy, like his name, loves speeding everywhere, finding the fun in everything: an empty paper bag, a box, or one of his many favorite stuffed mice. Tiger loves romping with Speedy and playing hide and seek in their tunnel. Speedy is a talkative guy who will love being with you, following you from room to room. While he will rub at your feet, and enjoys you petting him, he does not want to be picked up. Tiger is VERY quiet and reserved, and will take a while to settle in. That said, once he does he will want to be on your lap, whenever it is available. Both love sleeping on the bed, Speedy at the bottom and Tiger curling up tight next to you. Speedy is high energy, while Tiger is more of a medium guy. Except when they are sleeping, which they both do well. Both cats are living with Felix, my other foster, and me, in a two-bedroom townhouse. There are no other adults and the house is fairly quiet. This cute pair would thrive in a calm home with one to two adults, who can respect their boundaries but still enjoy hanging out with them and giving them plenty of attention in the ways that work best for them. If you are longing for quiet, lovely companions who just need the right place to bloom, Speedy and Tiger would love to meet you!

Ramona, Female
Domestic Short Hair, 1 year
Ramona is a sweet, 11-month-old young lady looking for her forever home! This adorable girl loves being with her people!
She always wants to be included in whatever is going on. As an older kitten, she has a typical high energy level and always wants to be a part of whatever the humans are doing. Make sure to include her, or she’ll feel left out! Ramona came to us very pregnant. Just barely old enough to be a mom, she had no idea what was going on in her body, and was easily overwhelmed by too much attention. After the kittens were born, Ramona seems to have settled into motherhood. She does fantastic with her kittens, and now demands attention and pets! This pretty girl currently lives in a single family home with three adults, resident cats, and a German shepherd mix. She is very interested in the comings and goings of the house, and will thrive in a calm, happy home with humans who enjoy kitten shenanigans and have plenty of time to play with her. She would also love a window perch where she can watch the world go by. She is selective about canine friends, but gets along well with cats and gentle, older (12+) children. Ramona is a great mama who is ready to be the center of someone’s world! Could that be with you?

Tasha, Female
Domestic Long Hair, 7 years
Hi, my name is Tasha. I’m approximately 7 years old. In November 2024, a concerned human posted me as a sick and injured kitty left at an abandoned house in North Minneapolis and I was tagged on a Lost/Found kitty site.
Three nice ladies who I had never met came to my rescue, and found that the house was not abandoned and that I lived at this house with five of my babies, ranging in age from 8 months to 4 years old. These ladies, seeing our living conditions, went into action and were able to get my previous owner to surrender us into the care of my current foster. I had never been to a vet before. I was sick and injured from living in an unhealthy environment that was filled with filth, drugs, strangers coming and going, poking, and kicking at me. I have also had multiple litters and am happy that those days are behind me. My recovery was slow, and it was months before I started to gain the trust of my caregivers. My once-yellow fur is finally starting to turn snow white after years of poor nutrition. Over time, I have started to trust and love people again. I enjoy playing and am discovering the joys of positive human interaction. My foster would love to keep me, but alas there are more kitties in her future to save. I’m attaching a few pictures of me with my babies. It's important that you know my past and what a strong lady I am to have endured my previous life, but I also want you to see how beautiful my babies are. I have a big heart and still believe that I can find my forever home. Let me know if you would like to meet me and we can go from there. Love, Tasha

Pookie (FIV+), Male
Domestic Short Hair, 3 years
Pookie is a 3-year-old loving adult male cat looking for his forever home! This sweet boy with the perfectly outlined nose is very content to lounge around and do nothing but prefers to cuddle up close to his person and have you pet him.
His favorite thing to play with is his Cat Nip ball. Pookie may take a little time to gain confidence and feel safe in his forever home, but once he does he is an absolute loveball of delight. This handsome fellow's adjustment period took about 3 weeks. He does like to have a place to hide —under a bed, behind a desk, or in a closet. But who can really blame him, no one likes to nap in the bright light! In the beginning we used a cat brush to reach out to him and pet him and that is what motivated him to move closer and closer until eventually he allowed for pets. Now comfortable, he comes when called, he often seeks affection and meows for attention. He has also started to show excitement about knowing he is going to be able to snuggle and receive. He jumps up on the bed and rolls around making eye contact, as if asking us to come give him affection. Pookie currently lives with 2 adults in a house and he loves to give and receive attention from either person. He is also living in a home with a dog, but the animals have been kept separated by a gate, but can hear and see each other. He has not felt comfortable enough yet to explore the area that the dog is in. He has spent some time with other cats and prefers his own space but warmed up to having the other cats around. Pookie's ideal forever home would be calm and peaceful and would likely feel best being the only pet in the house. This cute guy would also love to live with someone who works from home or is around a lot, and who would enjoy talking to him, holding him, and petting him often. Pookie is very smart—he especially knows when a treat is being offered. He is so ready to leave his rough days behind and enjoy the cozy, loving indoor life in a loving, compassionate home. Could that be with you? Pookie is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj

Dane, Male
Domestic Short Hair, 6 months
Dane is a six-month-old, loving and playful kitten looking for his forever home. This boy is the popular guy at school: cool and confident.
He loves people and greets us when we come home. He seeks out attention from anyone in the house and loves a good cuddle. When he's not cuddling, Dane is playing with his brothers or hunting for toys around the house. After he’s done with his cardio for the moment, this guy is good at settling down for a snuggle and some pets. Dane currently lives with his two kitty brothers, Miles and Thomas. He also lives with a resident cat as well as a very large resident dog. Dane is very respectful of our resident female cat; when she tells him to leave her alone, he will go seek a playmate or adventure elsewhere–no mess, no drama. It took Dane some time to get used to our resident dog, but he has come to trust her and will lay around and allow her to come up to him. He's not ready to play with her yet, but he has come a very long way from their first meeting when he was terrified of her. Along with all of the furry, four-legged animals in the house, Dane lives with his foster parents and three children, ages eight, nine, and eleven years old. He has met a few younger kids and has done very well with them. Dane and his brothers are very friendly and do not hide when new people come into the house. This cute guy would do really well with another playful, affectionate cat. If there is a resident dog, they will need to be calm, gentle, and respectful of Dane’s space as he gets used to them. If you’re looking for a loving, chill, friendly boy to join your family, Dane would love to meet you!

Miso (No Longer Accepting Applications), Male
Domestic Long Hair, 4 months
Miso is a four-month-old firecracker kitten looking for his forever home! Like many kittens, this little dude plays hard.
He will endlessly entertain the resident dog with play wrestling, and he adores running to ""capture"" a red laser light or flirt pole. When he’s not zooming around the house, he snuggles up for a nap and a cuddle. Miso is a cat who loves company: He adores the resident dog and comes running towards the door when humans come home! This sweet boy does occasionally get too excited and give kitty-nips during his playtime, which is a habit we’re working on curbing. Miso currently lives with two adult foster humans and a dog. He would do best in a home with adults and older (12+), cat-savvy kids (no small children, please) and existing playful pets would be ideal. This handsome boy thrives on energy and loves to play with animals and people so a house where he could engage with the occupants is a must! He will need to go home with another Pet Haven kitten, or to a home with an active young resident cat or dog who enjoys rough-and-tumble play! If you’re ready for the perfect spicy addition to your home this summer, why not add a little Miso to your life?

Oliver, Male
Domestic Short Hair, 10 years
Oliver is an affectionate, talkative, almost-10-year-old cat looking for his forever home! This handsome stripey guy is very curious and wants to be in the same room as everyone else.
He wakes up in the morning and has some breakfast while watching the birds outside. Then he will take naps or play with his cat tunnel throughout the day. He often lies down next to his foster cat sibling. He likes the laser toy, but really loves his string toy. At night he will explore the house and meow if he doesn't get to sleep next to me. I wake up every morning with him curled up next to me. It's so sweet! Oh, and he loves to sploot on the floor with his legs spread out! He is so goofy. Oliver is nearly a decade old, but this spry guy still gets after it when it comes to his beloved string toy. Overall, he’s a pretty chill guy, who at heart is more of a lounging-around and cuddly-type cat. This sweet boy currently lives with me (his foster parent), my large resident dog, and his foster cat sibling. We are in a house with lots of windows, where Oliver enjoys perching to watch the world go by. I think he could thrive in a house or apartment, as an indoor-only cat. He definitely needs a cat friend who is mellow like him; this can either come from Pet Haven, or can be a relaxed, loving resident cat who is already in the home. Before coming into foster care, Oliver lost his kitty best friend. He was mourning for a while, but has since come out of his shell and is just looking for a loving family and another cat pal to live his best life with! If you’re looking for a chill, fun, loving friend to delight your family, then please consider adding this lovely boy to your home and your heart.

Storm, Male
Domestic Short Hair, 15 weeks
Storm is a 15-week-old tiny tornado ready to fill your home with his fun and high-spirited energy. He has two modes: play and nap, but mostly play.
His hobbies include pouncing on anything that moves, wrestling with his siblings, and worrying his poor mama with his crazy antics. Storm loves to spend time with his people. He offers assistance with eating meals, washing dishes and folding laundry. He is also a pro at attacking legs when people walk by, but hehas manners–he does this with soft paws, not claws. Storm is sure to delight anyone looking for a kitten with a big personality and lots of capacity for high-energy play. Storm lives with his mom and two siblings, who are already pending adoption. He also has interactions with his foster mom's resident cats and dog. He would likely do well in a high-energy home with children or teenagers, but should also have another kitten or young cat available (either from Pet Haven or an active resident kitty) to help him expend his boundless energy in fun wrestling matches. He would thrive with people who work from home or are around a lot, and who enjoy frequent playtime and kitten shenanigans. As a curious boy, Storm is prone to getting into things, so he will need a vigilant caretaker, especially while in his kitten phase. Are you ready for the adventure and entertainment Storm offers? He’s sure to bring only sunny days ahead!

Peat & Repeat, Male & Female
Domestic Short Hair, 3 months
Peat and Repeat are a 3-month-old bonded duo looking for their forever home together. Peat is an energetic kitten and Repeat is a more chill kitten: the perfect yin to each other’s yang!
These sweeties are both ends of the spectrum! Peat is the more rambunctious kitten of the two siblings! He enjoys playing with anything and everything, from his kitten toys to the ant crawling on the floor. He also enjoys wrestling with his sister now and then. He takes after his Mama, Xerox, and enjoys sunbathing and watching cars pass out the window. In contrast, Repeat is the more tame kitten of the two siblings. Despite her calm nature, Repeat has the worst case of FOMO when it comes to her brother–whatever Peat is doing, Repeat then follows. She loves to play, just a little less hard than Peat! You will always see these two together. These adorable siblings currently live with their foster mom and their doting feline mom, Xerox, in a townhome. Given that these two have been together since birth, they will need to go home together, ideally with their caring mama, Xerox, to a home without other pets. This lovely kitty family will bring so much fun and joy to your people family this summer! Are you ready to meet them? They can’t wait!

Baby Girl, Female
Domestic Short Hair, 2 years
Say hello to Baby Girl, a 2-year-old tortoiseshell queen with a personality as unique and vibrant as her gorgeous, marbled coat. Equal parts curious explorer and cuddly companion, Baby Girl is the perfect mix of sugar and spice wrapped up in soft fur and bright eyes.
If you’re looking for a cat with a big personality, endless charm, and just the right amount of cuddle, Baby Girl is ready to meet you. Come fall in love with this tortie treasure today! Baby Girl is a natural-born observer. She spends hours perched at the window, silently tracking birds with laser focus and wide-eyed wonder. She's got a hunter’s instincts—bugs, beware! If there’s a fly in the house, you won’t need a swatter; Baby Girl is on the job, and she takes her bug-catching duties very seriously. Despite her playful, alert nature, Baby Girl is incredibly affectionate. She adores being near her humans and will curl up beside you for a cuddle... just don’t expect her to stay still too long! She’s a wigglebug at heart and often gets bursts of energy that send her hopping off your lap to chase a dust mote, investigate a new sound, or race to the window for a fresh round of birdwatching. Her energy is light, joyful, and never overwhelming—just enough to keep you smiling and entertained. She’s litter box trained and while I haven't seen her with other cats or any dogs (outside of my 15-year-old dog) I think she would love to have a playmate or two to explore a household that appreciates her playful independence and sweet, quirky soul. Baby Girl takes a few days to get comfortable in her environment, so she'll find some good hiding spaces until she's ready. She doesn't enjoy being picked up and will make that known vocally. She does best in a home where she can have windows to gaze out of, cozy spots to nap in, and people who understand that love comes in many forms—sometimes it's a warm snuggle, sometimes it’s an enthusiastic headbutt, and sometimes it’s just quietly sitting nearby while she watches her “bird TV.” If you’re ready for quiet, loving, active tortie energy this summer, sweet Baby Girl would love to meet you!

Raccoon, Male
Domestic Short Hair, 5 years
Raccoon is a sweet one-and-a-half-year-old male cat looking for his forever home! This adorable guy is playful, curious, active, loving, cuddly.
He meows hello every morning, and when you get home. He’s an active boy who lives to play with toys and watch the squirrels. He will bring a toy ball to whatever room you're in and play by you. Raccoon wakes up around 7:30 when the dog gets up. He eats his breakfast and then naps. He is most playful after work around 5. But sometimes during while I’m working (at home), he will sit on my desk and watch the squirrels outside. He is quite active and has many cat towers he runs around on. This boy is healthy and fun; he briefly had some eye allergies, but they cleared up with eye drops. This handsome boy lives in a house with his foster human and a dog. He gets along well with the dog but is hesitant to play with her (she’s 70 lbs. so that's understandable!). In general, Raccoon is curious and friendly with dogs, but a bit selective about cat friends. He hasn’t met any children yet. Raccoon would thrive in a house with lots of windows, and a gentle dog or cat companion. He is extremely affectionate, and likes lots of attention, so he would do best in a home where his humans work from home or are around a lot to play with him. Are you ready for a fun snuggle bug this winter? Raccoon would love to meet you!

Moka, Female
Snowshoe, 9 years
Moka is a stunning, blue-eyed, 9.5 year-old Snowshoe Siamese beauty looking for her forever home. Most of Moka's day is spent in her favorite spot–lounging in front of the patio doors (where she has made friends with a bun-bun, a 13-striped ground squirrel, and several fledglings).
Moka likes her foster mom to be sitting next to her while she drinks her morning coffee. (Note: Moka is named after coffee but she does not drink it). She enjoys the window sling that puts her at a different level of observing. Moka can be chatty (she lets her foster mom know that she doesn't like being shut out of the washing machine room) but mostly quiet and reflective. This lovely girl loves most forms of petting/attention and will snuggle into a lap when she feels like it, just like a cozy, warm cup of joe. Moka is chill (but not ""iced"") and also loves zooming after her toys that are thrown a distance. She will impress you with her aerial jumps when her toy is tossed in the air. Moka loves doing yoga, well... she likes relaxing on the yoga mat (same, same). Currently, Moka is an only cat living with just one cat lady in a townhome. She sleeps on the bed with her foster mom and uses the scratch pads that are around the house. And like her foster mom, Moka loves dinner time and comes running when she anticipates something tasty in her bowl! This beautiful, relaxed gal is doing great with using the litterbox; she needs an open-top box so she can ""stand"" against the side while she uses it–ever the fastidious lady. Moka's ideal home would be rather quiet, with windows! No dogs for her, but she could be okay with other cats (quiet, calm felines only, please!) and older, gentle, respectful kids. This beautiful treat of a kitty is easy to adore and has a ""latte"" love to give. She is looking for a forever home where she can sit next to you and watch the world go by. Is Moka your purrrrfect cuppa?

Freddie, Gus and Dave, Males
Domestic Shorthair, 1.5 years
Freddie, Gus and Dave, an adorable 1.5 year old bonded trio, are looking for their forever home!
Freddie (Fred) is an adorable 1.5 year old dapper, young male. He is the leader of his pack and definitely takes charge in any situation while his analytical siblings reserve judgment until Fred gives the 'all clear' through his very distinct cat call. He loves not only his siblings immensely, but other foster resident felines and the resident dog. He's a playful, funny, talkative, and snuggly guy who fiercely loves his human as much as his fur siblings. This guy is a larger cat and often forgets he's not a small kitten anymore. He sometimes will lay on your shoulder and bury his head in your hair. Freddie comes when called by his name. You will hear him respond as to say, ""I'm on my way""! Gus (Gussie) is a playful, snuggly and vocal cat. He has a distinctive cat call which he uses often to communicate with felines and humans. He talks as if his foster mom understands him. He's a lap kitty and will come for snuggles, but you will often find him snuggling with his brothers. He rolls around on his back and his foster mom tickles his belly and excitedly says, ""Gussie Bear!"" over and over. He loves it. He's a very sweet and sensitive guy. He's concerned about not only his siblings but his foster mom’s resident cats and dog, whom he often bathes. This handsome boy loves to play and chase the other cats around the house. He also loves hide and seek! He's very bonded to his brothers and often doesn't let them out of his sight. While he's more reserved at first to any new situation and prefers to let his brother Fred take the lead, he's interested and inquisitive; once Fred cat calls ""all clear"" to the crew, Gussie proceeds. Dave is a very sweet but reserved ginger boy. He's as talkative as his brothers, but takes a bit more time to warm up to his human. Once he does though, you will find him jumping up for snuggles in your lap and crawling up near you while you are asleep (as if you don't notice). He loves to play, especially hunting and wand toys and is very attached to his brothers Fred and Gus. When Dave is sleeping, he's likely snuggled up to one of his siblings or his foster home’s resident cat. Dave also communicates loudly with his crew and has a distinctive call. You will always know which cat is communicating because they are so funny and distinctively different! The boys also enjoy Cat TV on YouTube and will sit like little humans in front of the TV just staring at the birds in action. They love hunting toys and sometimes will give you little love bites. These guys are active with average energy. They like to play a lot while chasing each other around the house. As built-in best friends, they definitely keep each other very busy! The Terrific Trio is currently living with their foster mom in a townhouse (one adult, no children), along with resident cats and a resident dog. They’ve never met any children yet, but they get along well with loving adults. Freddie and crew would thrive in a caring, affectionate home with no female or dominant male cats. Because Freddie is very dominant, he considers himself to be the leader of his domain, and he isn’t seeking any challengers to that throne! This bonded trio is very special and any home would be lucky to have them!

Willow & Ash, Female & Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 months
Willow is a 3-month-old, cuddly girl looking for her forever home! Ash is a 3-month-old polydactyl (mitten paws!) kitten looking for his forever home!
Willow is a big snuggler when she isn't running around doing kitten things. She loves attention and will great you with a meow and purrs! Her bff Ash can be reserved at first and will take a few days to warm up to you and his surroundings. But once he is comfortable, he will want all the pets and attention! Both are very playful, with true kitten energy. They run and jump tirelessly, then nap with equal dedication! Ash and Willow are currently living in a house with 2 adults. They have been exposed to children and other cats, though, and it went fine (they haven’t met a dog yet). Because they are young, it’s probably best to have them with gentle, cat-friendly kids. This beautiful pair would love a home to romp around in with lots of windows to look out of! Willow will adjust pretty easily to a new place, but Ash will need someone who has patience and will go at his speed until he feels truly confident in his forever home! These two would do very well either with or without other cat friends. Willow and Ash are full of life, need lots of attention, and have so much love to give! If you work from home or are around a lot, and enjoy kitten shenanigans, they are the perfect pair to brighten your day!

Colie & Castor, Female & Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year
Colie is a young, curious, and playful 1-year-old kitty looking for her forever home! Castor is a 1-year-old couch potato love bug looking for his forever home!
Don’t let Colie's tiny frame fool you—this little lady is bursting with personality. She’s a confident little explorer who’s always curious about what’s going on around her. Whether she’s chasing a laser pointer, diving into her catnip toys, or scaling her scratch post like a pro, she brings energy and enthusiasm to every moment. Colie strikes the perfect balance between playful and independent. She can keep herself entertained when you’re busy but will gladly seek you out when she’s ready for attention—often with a sweet meow that’s impossible to ignore. She especially loves lounging by a window, watching the world go by. She’s tidy, a great eater, and uses her litterbox like a champ—an all-around easy companion. Colie has even met a large, high-energy dog and handled it like a pro. After a few slow introductions, she confidently approached and gave a fearless little nose boop! This spirited girl has also helped her shy brother, Castor, gain confidence—showing him how fun and rewarding it is to trust and love people. These siblings currently live in a house with a young couple and their resident dog. They will thrive in a home where they have room to explore and loving humans to bond with. If you’re looking for a playful, confident, and loving feline to brighten your days, Colie is ready to bring her spark into your life. Meet Castor: the gentle soul with a heart full of love, just waiting for the right person to discover it. Castor is a 1-year-old couch potato love bug looking for his forever home! This handsome guy prefers quiet, cozy spots where he can observe the world at his own pace. A soft, tucked-away bed is his safe space, especially when adjusting to new surroundings. But once he feels comfortable and trusts his people, Castor blossoms into a total sweetheart—rolling around, chirping softly, and nudging your hand with his head for more pets. His favorite scratches? Right behind the ears and under the chin. You’ll know he’s content when he gives you one of his signature love nibbles. Castor is the yin to his boisterous sister Colie’s yang. While she’s bold and playful, Castor is more reserved and thoughtful—making him the perfect companion if you’re looking for a laid-back, loving kitty who just needs a little patience to shine. (The two make a great complementary duo!) This sweet boy currently lives with his bonded sister in the house of a young couple and resident dog. However, he hides in his secret kitty spots for much of the time, so he would be OK in a smaller home (as long as there were still enough spaces for his curious bonded sister, Colie, to explore). This cute guy has had minimal dog exposure—just some eye contact and growls from a distance—but with time and the right, respectful pup, he could adapt. He also does great with the litter box, though an enclosed one is best since he can be a bit “upright” while doing his business. Castor needs a family who understand patience and grace. He loves his catnip toys, enjoys a good scratch on his scratching post, and absolutely thrives in a calm environment with patient humans. Once Castor trusts you, the bond is deep and meaningful—he’ll quietly become your shadow and your softest source of comfort. If you’re excited to welcome a beautiful pair who can offer you the best of both worlds, quiet Castor and outgoing Colie would love to meet you. They both have their final vetting on July 19th. After that, they are ready to find their forever home!

Bubbles (we call him Bub) is a 4-year-old sweet polydactyl (check out his adorable “mitten paws”) grey tabby looking for his forever home!
Bubbles is a handsome and gentle guy who likes to spend his time playing with toys, sleeping, and looking out the window. He is affectionate and loves to rub his head on his humans and be petted. This lovely guy has a medium energy level—sometimes he likes to play with toys, and sometimes he has a great time just being a couch potato (don’t we all?). But don’t let her gentle nature fool you—she also has a playful streak! This active gal still romps around the house with her kittens, chasing toys and joining in the fun like one of the crew. She shares a special bond with her son, Cloud, and the two would love to be adopted together. Their relationship is sweet and comforting—Cloud looks to Misty for reassurance, and Misty clearly enjoys mothering him a little longer. Misty also has perfect litterbox habits! Misty lives with her babies in a home with other resident cats and a dog. Since she was nursing, I did not let her mix much with my resident animals. She has shown curiosity about getting to know my cats as she has started to wean the kittens. If you’re looking for a loving, people-oriented cat who’s outgrown the chaos of kittenhood but still enjoys playtime, Misty is the perfect companion. She’s ready to trade her street survival days for sunny windowsills, cozy laps, and a family to call her own. If you’re ready to find the silver lining with every gray day, please consider adding the amazing Misty and Cloud to your home and your heart.

Scooter & Peanut Butter, Male
Domestic Short Hair, 9 months
Ten-month-old brothers Scooter and Peanut Butter overcame a hard start but are doing great and are excited to find their forever home! “Scoots” is a long-legged sweetheart, sometimes shy, but also very playful with a big purr.
Peanut Butter is a special little munchkin. He was born last of the litter, was a little slower to grow up, and per the vet, is an intersex kitty–but PB is happy to tell everyone now that he has now caught up to his brother Scooter! He also wants you to know that he’s got a cool personality, lots of curiosity, and playful energy. PB got the short end of the stick in his early days, so he has a love of the simple pleasures, like drinking water–especially out of the bathroom sink! This means some big pees (he uses the litter box like a champ!) and so far, no kidney issues per the vet. (The vet said his big thirst probably comes from not getting enough water early in his life.) For this reason, there are several water stations all around the house for all the cats, but especially for Peanut Butter. His forever humans would need to do the same, to keep him happy and healthy! When it comes to mealtimes, these two are ALL IN–they have hearty appetites. These bonded brothers are active boys who love kitty play tunnels, chasing each other (and the other cats) around the house, jumping up high on the cat tower, chasing the feathered wand, or playing fetch with their favorite toys. Sometimes PB can get a bit underfoot when humans are standing or moving too close to him, as he doesn’t respond as quickly as Scooter does when it comes to getting out of the way; his forever family will just have to keep an eye out and make sure sweet little PB has plenty of room to move. (This is especially true during high-traffic areas like at feeding time.) Both of these cool dudes seem quite fond of the resident dog, who is very mellow and tolerant of their antics. They are sweet, easy kittens to have around, adaptable to whatever routine the humans set. They both enjoy sleeping with their humans, but Peanut Butter in particular loves to get into bed, cuddle close, and drift off to kitty dreamland. They also can spend some quality time staring out the window at the bird feeder, watching their favorite show, “Goldfinch,” every day. These two would do best with humans who work from home or are around a lot (their foster person is retired, so they are acclimated to having lots of company). They seem to enjoy the presence of all the other household cats, the household dog, and people, yet they can also happily go off to their own play, or rest when they feel they need it. These guys are just precious little darlings. Due to tough experiences in their original home with a “protection dog,” only a gentle, mellow canine friend would be a good fit and well accepted. Because Peanut Butter is a unique being, and needs a touch more attention, only experienced cat person(s) would be the best fit for these little loves. These sweethearts had a very hard start for such young boys, but they have thrived in their cozy, affectionate foster home, and would love to continue their peaceful journey with the right patient, compassionate, cat-savvy humans. Could that be with you?

Howl is a five-month-old, affectionate purr machine looking for his forever home! This Creamsicle boy is the biggest love bug!
His favorite thing is to be held and cuddled, and he thinks everyone is his best friend. He has the loudest purr that he shows off constantly. Howl has lots of kitten energy and loves to play, especially with balls and feather toys. He also enjoys climbing, exploring, and wrestling with his siblings. This sweetheart would do well any home where he can get lots of attention and some room to play! He could be a good fit for a busy or noisy home that might be too much for a less confident cat. Poppy, Female
Domestic Long Hair, 5 years
Poppy is a two-year-old, sweet and spunky kitty looking for her forever home! This pretty fluffy gal enjoys spending most of her day napping with her kittens or relaxing and watching while they play.
She has a confident personality and knows when she wants affection and when she needs a little space to herself; she will give a little love nip if she is feeling overwhelmed by affection. A discerning gourmet, Poppy is always present if wet food is being served, since it's her favorite. She has been an attentive mother to her 3-month-old kittens and is now ready to be pampered in her forever home. This lovely mama is outgoing and ready to explore her environment, taking in all around her. Poppy's energy level has been fairly mild. She has been spending the last 3 months taking amazing care of her kittens, with little time to herself. Her playful side has yet to emerge, but I know when she can focus her energy on her own needs and playtime interests, this beautiful girl will begin to engage with the world of wands and spring toys! Poppy currently lives in a foster home with her four kittens. There are 2 adults and 3 older children in the home that she does great with. She is learning to not care about the dogs in the home and seems indifferent to the other cats if her kittens aren't present. Poppy's ideal home is a quiet or moderately active home that will provide her with love. She could be happy as an only cat, provided her humans are around to spend time with her, or live peacefully with another friendly cat. She seems fine with dogs that ignore her. She will also need people who are willing to regularly brush her lovely fur, to keep her looking and feeling her best. If you’re looking for an affectionate, relaxed companion to shower with love and care this summer, look no further than this beautiful girl. Poppy is ready to meet you!

Nana Pudding & Princess (FIV+), Female
Domestic Short Hair, 1 year
Nana and Princess are two charming, affectionate 1-year-old pirate cats who are looking for their forever port to call home.
Nana is a brave buccaneer who lost one eye lost in The Battle of Eye Infection, which tragically plagues so many in the world of cat rescue. Princess has a beautiful, rumbling purr to draw in unsuspecting humans so she can slay their hearts with adoration. She also has one eye which struggles with a viral condition but is fully functional. Together, they are a perfect privateer pair of renegade sweethearts! These loving swashbucklers enjoy getting pets, playing with toys, and lounging. They have a medium energy level and would thrive in a clean, quiet home with low activity due to their FIV+ status. Nana and Princess are both FIV+, but that doesn’t mean they can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. It is not transmissible to humans or to dogs. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj Come meet these littermate corsairs, who are currently anchored in Foxhill Fosters (a local foster home) for Pet Haven. Timber (FIV+- Pending Adoption), Male
Domestic Short Hair, 5 years
Timber is a friendly, loving, and chill 5-year-old guy looking for his forever home! With his big chonky cheeks, scraggly ears, lopsided eyes and enchanting personality, Timber has his foster humans totally wrapped around his paw, and you'll soon see just why.
This guy loves to nap but is always interested in company. When he hears or notices humans in his home, he wants to be around them all the time even if he’s just observing. But if you want to pet him for hours? Score! He’s super chill and loves to lounge more than anything. This handsome orange boy currently lives in a house, but I actually think he would prefer an apartment. He will thrive in any environment, but he is blind in one eye, so less space to monitor is kind of nice since he has some vision issues. Plus, a smaller space means he can be in closer proximity to his humans! 🙂 Timber is getting some teeth removed so he will need a partial or full wet food diet (we will see if he will still eat dry food after his surgery. He does eat some dry food now, even though his mouth is currently a bit painful). Timber is also FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats can live with FIV negative cats in stable, indoor-only social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj Timber is so friendly and wonderful and extremely adaptable. He will bring so much joy to any home...If you’d like to experience the best of that orange guy friendliness, Timber would love to meet you!

Spicy Queso (Pending Adoption), Female
Domestic Short Hair, 10 weeks
Spicy Queso is a 10-week-old, spunky kitten looking for her forever home! This little girl is the quietest of the group but also one of the spunkiest!
She is the ultimate master of sneaking up on her siblings, loves to get the zoomies, and loves batting toys around. Her absolute favorite thing to do is hanging out on the tall cat tree. Whether she’s snoozing away or monitoring her siblings’ playtime, you can almost guarantee that Spicy will be up on her perch, surveying her domain! She is a playful and curious kitten who loves zooming around, playing with toys and her littermates, napping hard, then repeating the cycle again! Spicy Queso roams freely in a spacious bedroom with her playful littermates and her sweet stripey Mom. This sweetie pie is the most cautious when it comes to humans touching her, so going to a home with one of her littermates (Gordita, Chalupa, or Baja Blast!) is a key to helping her gain confidence. She would do best in a quieter home with compassionate humans who respect that she’ll need extra time to decompress and to come out of her shell. Spicy Queso has not yet been introduced to dogs or other cats (besides her littermates and Mom). She would likely do okay with an older, low-energy dog or cat after slow and proper introductions. This lovely lady is so ready to brighten your day with her playful antics and sweet presence. She just needs some time to feel safe and loved in her new home. Could that be with you?

Gordita (Pending Adoption), Female
Domestic Short Hair, 10 weeks
Gordita is a 10-week-old, playful kitten looking for her forever home! This little girl is full of energy and adventure.
She takes her duty as “supervisor” very seriously and always wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing! She’s a typical kitten who LOVES playing with toys and her littermates, and she was one of the first to get out and explore the space when she arrived at her foster home. This stripey, fluffy gal is a typical adventurous kitten with lots of energy who loves to play, naps hard, and then repeats! Gordita has freedom to roam in a large bedroom with her littermates and her doting Mom. Her confidence and bravery grow every day, but she is still learning to trust and enjoy human touch. For this reason, a home with patient forever humans is a must. She would also be happiest in a home with one of her littermates—Chalupa, Spicy Queso, or Baja Blast! Gordita has not yet been introduced to dogs or other cats (besides her littermates and her Mom), but she has the potential to do okay with slow and proper introductions due to her age. This sweet, friendly girl is so ready to brighten your summer with her adorable antics. If you’re ready to double your fun this summer, Gordita (and one of her siblings) would love to meet you!

Dom & Winston, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Dom is a cuddle monster and Winston is a play machine, and you are in luck because these two 3-year-old bonded boys are looking for their new furever home to spoil and love them for the rest of their days!
Winston is your right hand man. He’s energetic, goofy, and interested in everything, and able to play nonstop with you or his brother Dom. Winston’s personality is a lovable goofball. He’s talkative, and loves to talk to you even though he can’t speak human. Once he’s comfortable, Winston will be your best buddy—staying nearby when play resumes. Winston spends his day watching the squirrels outside, chasing balls around the living room or sleeping in his plush cat bed. Like a dog, Winston will often offer you a few licks to let you know he’s in for some lovin’—the chin’s the spot. Winston prefers a deep neck and chest scratch; whereas Dom much prefers a chin, back and butt rub. Dom is your lovable cowardly lion. Once comfortable, Dom is a singer—he’ll sing for you and his brother Winston when he’s happy, teasing, or excited to see you. While adjusting to new homes or people, though, Dom can stay quite distant or afraid for a while. His brother Winston slowly helps him adventure and demonstrate the home’s safeness—and Dom soon catches on. Dom’s personality is all cuddle and wonder—he’ll happily take the crook of your arm while on the couch, or find a small blanket to sit atop; or he loves to hang his head from high spaces and gaze around. Dom spends his day sleeping, trying to catch the laser pointer, and tagging along with his brother on his adventures. Dom always plays backup. Together, Dom and his brother Winston are two little best friends who are looking for a home where they can be their joyous, energetic selves. Dom much prefers a chin, back and butt rub; whereas Winston prefers a deep neck and chest scratch. Once comfortable, Dom’s energy matches Winston’s—he loves to tag along on whatever activity has everyone’s attention. Dom and Winston both have lots of energy—they know no energy limits to playtime. Dom is particularly savage when it comes to crinkly balls, mice or feathers on string. He’s a chaser, and loves to swat at “prey.” Both brothers play quite a bit with each other. When you’re lucky enough to witness, it’s an adorable bedlam of snowball paws and fluffy slam downs by the boys. They love to chase each other and wrestle—who wins is still undecided. Winston can sometimes become intimidated by Dom’s dominance. During play, it helps to have them engaged separately with their own individual play when possible. Dom and his brother are happiest in homes with at least one large space or hallway for running and chasing each other. Rugs or carpets help, so they can practice their zoomies. They are strictly indoor cats. Dom’s home should be clean, with small cuddly crooks and nooks for him to explore and from which to observe. Dom’s ideal home is one without existing resident animals—his shyness can limit his sociability with other animals. Dom and his brother Winston would ideally do best in a home that’s familiar with the quirks and behaviors of cats. Dom—once comfortable—will be your shoulder-crook cuddle partner in any space after your relationship grows. Until then, Dom takes much longer than Winston to adjust to new spaces and people. He’s also more sensitive to loud noises, bangs or stomping in the home by tall people. During the first three weeks in his new space, Dom will mostly hide, and slowly begin to observe you and the home from safe distances. But with time, and successful tips you’ll receive from the foster, Dom will become comfortable in no time. These boys are so special, and deserve a forever home that loves and respects their endearing and quirky personalities furever. So, if you’re looking to add 8 furry paws, two wet noses and endless purrs, pets and snuggles, consider these two bonded boys!

Mister (FIV+) & Dixie, Male & Female
Domestic Shorthair, 4 years & 2 years
Mister (4 years old) and Dixie (2 years old) are a silly, and playful pair looking for their forever home!
Mister is a fun, carefree, and affectionate cat. He is both the sweetest and sometimes the craziest boy, who only knows how to love and play. He does not know how to stop purring. He will follow you around the house and happily hang out with you all day long. Mister likes to show affection by rubbing his head on your legs, hands, face, and anything else you may allow. He is happiest when he is around his people. This guy loves his playtime. He gets random bursts of energy that result in wild zoomies around the house. He likes to chase toys, climb cat trees, wrestle with Dixie, and is gentle and considerate when playing with his people. He is a lot of fun to watch and to interact with; he leaves us laughing and loving him every day. Mister loves everyone and everything. Dixie is a sweet, playful, and curious cat. She can be quiet and reserved at first and takes a little bit of time to warm up. Once she gets comfortable, she is a snuggler. This pretty stripey girl will join you on the couch and likes to lie down in your lap, even if it means sitting on top of Mister or kicking him off to do so. The way to Dixie’s heart is definitely through play. She loves toys, especially if it is something she can chase. Dixie is a beautiful and easy-going companion who also adapts and adjusts well. They both have a moderate energy level, often switching between cuddles and play. Mister and Dixie came to us battling chronic upper respiratory symptoms. After some attentive care and a few medications, they are doing much better. Since some of the symptoms are chronic, they are both on a long-term antibiotic. They do very well and have minimal symptoms while on the medication. They both get a small amount of the liquid medication once every other day. They are very easy to give medications to and tolerate it well. Mister was found to have some urinary crystals and was switched to a prescription urinary diet. He has done wonderfully on the diet and has no urinary symptoms. He also has mild asthma, a low-grade heart murmur, and tested positive for FIV. He shows no symptoms and none of these affect his day-to-day life. None of this means he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats (like Dixie) in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj. Mister and Dixie are best friends. They are so happy to play together, groom each other, and snuggle together. Mister’s confidence and worry-free attitude often help Dixie come out of her shell. These two are a perfect example of a truly bonded pair. They currently live on the lower level of a house with 3 people. They have their own room that they stay in when no one is home; they freely roam the house when people are home. Mister and Dixie are very adaptable and adjust well. They would do well in nearly any home, but their ideal place would have people who are around a lot and who would really enjoy playing with them, cuddling them, and just soaking up their wonderful company and affection.

Rachel, Phoebe & Monica, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years
Rachel, Monica and Phoebe are a young, playful trio looking for their forever home!
Rachel enjoys playing with her spring! She loves taking it into the tub and we have been working on her to bring it to us so she can play fetch. Monica and Phoebe have fun when you drag a string around, or you will catch them watching the birds. These little sweeties have the tiniest little baby meows. I call Phoebe my little M&M because she just melts in your arms and has started to sleep by my legs under the covers. All three will lie down together, either next to you or on the cat towers. Monica is super sweet and cute; she will often rest on my chest for chin scratches and pets. All three are respectful of your beauty sleep, and will let you sleep until you wake up. Rachel comes in first place in the High-Energy Derby, always wanting to play and ready to romp around, followed by Monica who plays but also likes to chill. Phoebe plays a little bit, but she mostly just likes to look pretty all day. These three beauties currently live in a house with me (their foster parent) and my 14-year-old son. The girls would thrive in a home with humans who can spread their attention to all three cats. A house might be a better fit for their space needs--or a really big townhome or apartment. Having cat towers that have three tiers, and some cat tunnels would be ideal! If you’re ready for triple the fun with these inseparable friends this summer, we’ll be here for you at Pet Haven. Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe can’t wait to meet you!

Tux & Kiwi (FELV+), Male & Female
Domestic Shorthair, 2 Years & 1 Year
Tux and Kiwi are a 1 and 2-year old bonded pair of FELV+ kitties looking for their fabulous forever home together!
Tux is the dapper, formally dressed happy-go-lucky guy who is the friendliest cat in town! Tux is a friend to all people and likes to spend his days getting affection and attention, eating yummy treats, and snoozing! Tux will play when his feline bff Kiwi plays or his people play, but he usually doesn't engage in play by himself. He doesn't "zoom” ...this guy is chill. Tux is pretty much happy to go along with whatever you put in front of him - if you want to play, he wants to play; if you want to nap and cuddle, he wants to nap and cuddle. He is a sweet, amenable guy who just wants to hang out with his buddies and have fun! Kiwi is the beautiful tabico and is one of the sweetest cats I've ever met. She lives for attention and cuddles and will follow you around, wanting to be by your side—or ideally, in your lap and anywhere you go. Kiwi will gamely bat at a feather toy, she'll sit and look out the window when there are no people around, and she enjoys sleeping in her soft cat bed. But more than anything she wants attention, touch, and companionship from people. She will make a great couch potato/Netflix companion/book reading buddy for someone! This super-affectionate girl has not been displaying many ""zoomies”—for her, it’s all about the cuddles. Both Kiwi and Tux are FELV+. Because Kiwi and Tux are FeLV+, they cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Kiwi and Tex maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life. You can read more about FeLV here: https://tinyurl.com/ycxhwcmu is also FELV+. Tux also has a little bit of wheezy breathing from his chronic rhinitis but doesn't impact his life otherwise. You'll never have trouble finding him! He is also a champ using the litter box. Tux and Kiwi are currently living in the cat foster room of their fosters house. Because he is FELV+, he cannot be out and about in the main area of my house due to my other cats. He loves being with his buddy Kiwi and is perfectly content with a full bowl of food at breakfast and dinner time, a big window to look out of, and a soft napping place on the bed. He loves both humans in the house. He hasn't met any dogs, but he is so friendly with other cats and people that he would probably do just fine after a proper introduction. Gentle kids over 12 would be great too. Kiwi especially would thrive in a home with someone who can give her LOTS of attention. Someone retired or who works from home, whose lap she can sit on all day, would be ideal—or perhaps a child-free millennial who wants to smother a cat with their love 😊 Tux and Kiwi are a precious duo with so much love to give. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to two special kitties, consider this duo!

Faena, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Faena is a 3-year-old energetic, curious, and gentle cat looking for her forever home! This little lady loves to spend the day hanging out with you — she’ll find a spot nearby and plop herself down.
She’ll ask for belly rubs and head scratches, and you’ll instantly hear her loud purrs! She will also let you hold her little paw 🙂 Faena loves to explore the room she’s in — she’s active and likes to chase wands and feathers but she’ll eventually settle down next to you on the couch or in a cat tree. She loves to be up high. Initially a little shy, this pretty girl warms up to you quickly. She is a cat who will love you back — she’ll greet you with her meows when you come back home and circle your legs, asking for pets. She’s a lively cat — young and strong. She likes to watch the birds out the window, but she also enjoys basking in a sunny spot in your apartment. She likes to be in the same room as you are and will likely move locations when you do. Faena lives in a duplex with two adults and one cat. The resident cat doesn't like her very much, but her previous owner said Faena had lived with other cats before and got along great with them. Faena’s ideal home has a lot of comfy spots to hang out in -- and a cat tree! She would do well with other cats and would be great with kids, since she's playful and gentle. She also would do well in an environment where she can spend time with her favorite people — with cat parents who work from home, for example. If you’re looking for an energetic, affectionate best friend, Faena would love to meet you!

Thomas & Miles, Males
Domestic Mediumhair, 6 month
Thomas (aka Tom Foolery) is a sweet little 6-month-old goofball looking for his forever home with his brother Miles who is a very outgoing and affectionate, 6-month-old little guy.
First up, Thomas! This fluffy boy LOVES people and affection but also loves to play. As soon as he finds a comfy spot on your lap, he may also see something move that he needs to go inspect. As soon as he is done investigating, he will come running and flop back into your lap. He earned the nickname Tom Foolery because he must check out everything and will play with anything! If you bring home groceries, they must be investigated. If you pull out clean laundry, he's going to test its warmth. if your kids play with nerf guns, bullets on the ground or in the air are fair game. Thomas took a little longer to brave the great upstairs and meet the resident dog than his brothers but, now that he has overcome that fear, he does not willingly go to his room at bedtime. This handsome boy has been very respectful of the resident cat who is still adjusting to her new lot as a ""big sister."" She has made it known that she would like her space, and Thomas has been great at finding people and his brothers to play with instead. This cutie pie has a medium energy level. He has his playful moments when he must inspect things and loves chasing things and batting stuff around but he is also good at calming down and cuddling. Next up, Miles! This fluffy-haired cutie is the most independent of the litter. He was the first one to brave the upstairs and meet the resident dog (a 70-lb. shepherd). He is very confident and eager to be with people. Miles has a medium energy level—he loves to play and zoom around, but also loves his pets, snuggles, and cuddle time when he is ready to relax. These handsome boys currently live with their two brothers, a resident cat, a resident dog, three kids (ages 7, 9, and 11) and two adults. Miles and Thomas love people, so the more the merrier would be ideal for them. Miles will not back down to the resident dog and will let her know when he's annoyed with her attempts at sniffing him. I think he will do fine in a home with a respectful dog. For Thomas, if he lives with a canine a respectful canine pal who will give him time and space to learn to trust him/her will be best Ready to double your fun this summer with the best kind of foolish shenanigans? Thomas and Miles are ready to brighten your day!

When Moxie isn't hanging out with her mom, whom she absolutely adores, she's often busy playing with all her favorite toys! This lovely gray and white cutie-pie loves springs, wand toys, balls of paper, plush mice, tunnels - just about anything that can be played with! She's beginning to follow mom's lead with enjoying looking out the window, but sometimes that is just too boring, and she wants some more excitement. When she finally tires herself out, she loves to curl up on the couch for a nap! If you're sitting on the couch, she'll come curl up right next to you for some cuddles. Being young cats, Marigold and Moxie are high energy and will need regular play times and daily activity. The good news is that they absolutely love to play together and always help each other get their energy out! This stunning pair currently live in a single-family home with two humans. If the space they're in is kitten-proofed and cleared of things they can get in trouble with, they are quite well behaved for their ages. While they haven't met children younger than 10 years old, these lovely ladies are very tolerant and could handle well-behaved, gentle kids who are taught to respect their boundaries. Marigold and Moxie would love a home with a bit of space to run and play! They really enjoy having windows to look outside at wildlife or people walking by. It's not necessary, but definitely a bonus if your house has stairs because Moxie loves to play on them! These bonded gals absolutely love spending time with their humans and would thrive in a busy household with people who work from home or are home often, and who enjoy kitten/young cat shenanigans. If you’re ready to double your fun this summer, these gorgeous girls would love to join your family!

Nemo & Latte, Males
Tabby & Flame-Point Siamese, 5 years & 1 years
Nemo (five-year-old white and orange domestic medium hair) and Latte (one-year-old flame-point Siamese) are two gorgeous, quiet yet affectionate fluff-balls looking for their perfect home together!
These boys share an unbreakable bond—it’s heartwarming to see them nuzzling each other, strolling side by side with their tails intertwined. Latte adores chasing Nemo’s tail and playing peek-a-boo, while Nemo happily follows his little brother’s lead as the two explore new “territories” together. What’s truly endearing is how Latte always checks in on Nemo—whether it's a gentle meow or a loving nudge of his head, he makes sure his big brother is never far behind. Latte and Nemo may take a little time to warm up, but once they do, you’ll find devoted companions who cherish quiet moments, cozy hideaways, and the simple joy of being near someone they trust. They express their love through tender slow blinks, gentle head rubs and deep purrs. The boys would thrive in a peaceful home with someone who understands that love isn’t always instant—but when it’s earned, it’s the most special kind. If you’re patient, kind, and willing to let them set the pace, you’ll gain lifelong friends who love you in their own quiet, meaningful way. Could you be the one they’ve been waiting for?

Bo, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Hi everyone! My name is Bo. I'm a chonky, handsome, 10-year-old gentleman who will greet you with head bops, and I am looking for my forever family!
I am very reserved at first, and will hide, but once I get to know you, I will be your best friend. I love to come up to you for pets; you’ll also find me lounging around, taking naps, and watching my fave episodes of Bird TV. Toys are great, too--I like to play with wands, as well as anything with catnip in it. I am a bit of a fluffy guy that could really benefit from the active life, so I would really appreciate someone who could take time to play with me every day. I currently live with 3 adult humans in a house, along with three other cats that I’ve met from afar. I love my food, but I am currently on a weight-loss journey to keep me healthy and happy, so I will need caring people to keep me on a feeding schedule of healthy food. My ideal environment will be a quiet and low-stress home with no young children. I have only met other cats from a distance, but it's possible that with patience and slow introduction I may get along with another mellow cat. I am a big guy with a big heart, and I can’t wait to meet you!

Elsie and Jersey, Female & Male
Domestic Shorthair, 19 weeks
Elsie and Jersey are spunky 4-month-old kittens looking for their forever home. These sweethearts are bundles of energy.
Elsie has all the best characteristics in a kitten. She is playful and adventurous, and then snuggly and sweet when she gets worn out. She loves to climb in laps to have a snuggle. This pretty girl also loves wand toys and wrestling with her siblings. She is always the first of her litter to climb to new places to explore. Her bff Jersey is a goofy boy who loves to hide in cardboard boxes and make flailing attempts at catching wand toys in the air. He loves to climb onto human shoulders to perch. Jersey makes his foster mom and dad laugh we he growls at fabric knots and plush mice toys. This handsome snow-white sweetie is super playful until he is tired. If you catch him napping in a sunny spot and give him chin scratches, you are almost guaranteed instant purrs. Elsie and Jersey have a strong bond; they are usually found sleeping and playing together. The kittens are full of kitten hi-jinks and play, chase, and wrestle for hours in the morning and evening. They have sleepy afternoons and are generally quiet overnight. Elsie and Jersey live with two adults. They are comfortable around new people, and they did great with older children and teenagers. However, the high-pitched noise and quick movements of young children overwhelmed the kittens. Jersey and Elsie met several cats in their foster home, and they adjusted really well to their new feline friends. The kittens will do best in home with a couple people to give them love, attention, and ample play time. They would love a couple of high cat towers to climb, play, and nap. Elsie and Jersey eat like champs and use the litter box perfectly. They prefer wet food several times a day and only snack on dry food kibble occasionally. Elsie is already spayed, and Jersey’s appointment is set for June 14. After that, these busy little cutie-pies are ready to wrestle their way right into your heart!

Missi, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 10 months
Missi is a 10-month-old loving girl with a playful spirit looking for her forever home! This pretty stripey gal's journey started as an under-socialized stray in southwest Minnesota, unsure of humans and wary of the world.
But in the loving care of her foster family, this sweet girl is learning that people aren't so scary after all—and has blossomed into an affectionate sweetheart! At first, Missy kept her distance. But now, she's discovering the joys of human companionship--following her foster moms like a shadow, curling up on her foster mom's lap while she works and being carried around the house like the princess she is. When Missi loves you, she puts 100% of her time and energy into being your companion. This cutie pie is full of energy! She'll race around quick as lightning! Her favorite toys are wand toys and each morning you'll find mice and other small toys in her food and water bowls. She's a hunter at heart and it shows in her play. Recently, she even started bringing her toys to her foster mom and playing at her feet. Missi is so smart she’ll even figure out food puzzle to eat her treats! Missy would really love a home with as many toys and cat trees as possible, but her favorite toys are mice shaped. She currently lives with two adults and 1 resident cat in a 3-bedroom duplex. Missy's ideal home would be with a quiet person or family with quiet respectful children. She is reserved and still a bit skittish; therefore, a person or family that understand that she'll take time to warm up to her new home would be best. She'd also be most happy with another cat around her age to play with--either another Pet Haven cat or an active young resident cat to show her the ropes. She does well with other cats and gentle older children but hasn't met a dog yet. This lovely tabby girl is ready to leave the outdoor life behind and live a peaceful, cozy existence with a caring family. Could that be with you?

Yuumi is a 7-year-old, playful goofball looking for her forever home! She’s full of personality and affection, always wanting to be by your side.
While she enjoys her cat naps, Yuumi also has bursts of energy and loves to play. She'll happily chase after catnip toys and feather wands, claim the best window seat to watch squirrels and passing cars, and is also a skilled mouser. If she doesn’t get enough playtime, she might turn your feet into her next target! Once you become her person, she’ll spend many nights cuddled up next to you. Just be sure to keep an eye on your dinner plate—Yuumi is a sneaky food thief. Yuumi was found in a snowbank with severe frostbite, leading to nerve damage and her tail amputation. She has spent over a year recovering and adjusting to medications, proving to be one of the strongest, most resilient cats out there. She takes her meds like a champ and will shower you with love in return for your care. She is also slightly overweight and would benefit from a home where she can stay active. She thrives in a home where her humans are around often. When making friends, she also does well with older children (12+) who can respect her boundaries, as she can get overstimulated at times. Geri, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 6 years
Geri is a beautiful, nearly-8-year-old, silvery-gray lady looking for her forever home! Geri was one of four girls born to a feral momma in an enclosed porch of an old home. The elderly man who lived in the home brought all four of the girls into his large home and they had the run of the place.
For 7-1⁄2 years, Gerri and her sisters lived very independently in the big house until her owner moved to a nursing home. When this beauty came into foster care, she was so matted it wasn’t possible to pet her except on the top of her head. Once shaved, she was so much more comfortable. Her initial veterinary appointment showed mouth inflammation, and she was scheduled for a dental consult and was diagnosed with stomatitis requiring 15 of her teeth be removed. She does wonderfully with just a few teeth -- enjoying both dry cat food and her much loved Fancy Feast Savory Centers wet food. Geri enjoys human attention but is also independent and although brought up with three littermates, she doesn’t interact with them much. She prefers to lay in the sun for her naps or sit at the top of the cat tree and watch the birds and squirrels for some “me time.” Even though she is now a mature lady, she still has her “zoomie” moments – chasing after and playing with small toys. She likes to be brushed on her head and back and is slowly getting used to being brushed on her chest and stomach – key spots to stay on top of, since that is where any matting is prone to start. Her foster has trimmed her nails, and although it is not Geri’s favorite things, she does tolerate it. Her forever humans should be committed to helping her keep her beautiful coat looking its best. Geri likes human interaction and will sit on your lap – especially when you are sitting at the computer. When she has had enough interaction, she will give a small grunt and jump down. This pretty girl currently lives with her 3 siblings but doesn't interact with them very much. She would do great in a home with humans who work from home or are around a lot, and who are okay with a cat sitting on their lap when at the computer or when watching TV. Although she has enjoyed pets from a respectful six-year-old child, Geri would probably prefer a home with older, more mature children and no other pets. A cat tree by a window would be incredibly welcome – she loves to sleep at the top. This beautiful lady has been through some upheavals and is so ready to live a cozy, loving life with her forever humans. If you’re looking for a gentle companion to while away the days with this summer, Geri is your girl!

Chauncey, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 12.5 years-old
Chauncey is a 13-year-old, mellow gentleman looking for his forever home. As his lustrous silvery coat reveals, he is a part Russian Blue with a heart full of love and a calm, gentle spirit.
This sweet senior boy is the definition of a quiet companion—affectionate without being demanding, and happiest when he's curled up next to you or enjoying a soft brushing session. He adores gentle pets and will gladly lean in for more love. Chauncey enjoys the occasional play session, especially with a wand toy or something with a string—but he’s mostly content to lounge nearby, soaking up your company or napping in a comfy spot. His beautiful coat will need to be gently brushed regularly, to keep it looking its best and free from mats. He currently lives in an apartment with one other person. Chauncey would thrive in a peaceful home where he can relax and soak up attention at his own pace. He is so ready to enjoy a low-key lifestyle with someone who works from home or is around a lot, and who appreciates a sweet, laid-back cat. Chauncey hasn’t met any other cats or dogs yet (no kids, please), and he has so much quiet affection to give as he celebrates his golden years. Could his forever home be with you? Note: Chauncey has feline asthma, which means his lungs are a little more sensitive than most cats'. He takes a daily inhaler (yes, just like people do!), and he handles it like a pro. His condition is well-managed and doesn’t stop him from being a lovely, normal kitty cat!

Nala (FIV Positive) Female
Domestic Shorthair, 8 years old
Nala is a sweet and playful 9-year-old tripod who is looking for a fur-ever home who can show her how sweet a cat’s life can be!
Nala tends to warm up to women more quickly than men—a home with one or two women would be a great fit for her. She doesn't like being picked up so older cat-conscious children would be best for her.. She will be nervous for the first few days of her new transition, so she needs a forever family who will be patient with her, respect her boundaries, and allow her to show love on her own time. She has only three legs (which makes her all the cuter) and is FIV+, but is healthy as can be. Nala is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean she can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj Overall, Nala is looking for a patient, gentle human who is ready to show her that the world can be a good place. She deserves to be shown the kindness and love that she shows others every day. If you are ready to open your home and heart to this sweet, deserving girl, please apply today. ---- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Milo, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 10 years old
Milo is a 10-year-old, regal buddy looking for his forever home! This sleek panther is a big boy who loves the sun and his solo time, taking it all in. He may take a little while to get used to his new surroundings and people, but when he does it is very rewarding to see him open up.
This guy is curious. He loves to spend time in the bathroom with you and, fair warning, would love to eat some toilet paper if he could get to it. Milo enjoys quiet exploring but will occasionally meow when he thinks it's time for food. This handsome fellow is very reserved and will take some time to gain confidence and feel more comfortable. He gets along with other cats but does not really want to hang with them. He likes to have his own space but has never been physical with another cat or human; he will hiss when annoyed but that’s it. He loves pets and scratches and occasionally will do some solo play time with his favorite cat nip toys. Occasionally he will run around, but for the most part, he is low energy. Milo currently lives with his foster dad and one other foster cat Tigger in a two-bedroom apartment. He has spent all his foster care with Tigger; however, as much as Tigger would like Milo to care for him, Milo is content to just be acquaintances. Milo would thrive in a home with lots of sunny spots and windows. He would do best in a quieter place with either a fellow calm, chill cat, or as a solo kitty with people who are around frequently and committed to helping him gain trust and feel more at ease. I do not foresee him bonding with another cat, but he has been able to live with kittens and Tigger with no issues. He loves to switch up his bed location—whether it be in the middle of the floor, hiding in a cupboard, or sleeping in a cat bed! He loves to scratch the top of the cat box or the wall for fun after doing his business. It can be kind of loud sometimes but usually if you call his name gently, he will stop. Milo is a lovely cat that takes time to come out of his shell. He probably spent the first month living here hiding during the day and only coming out at night. Even though he hides he never gets defensive when found and accepts pets. So, if you need some practice playing hide and seek, he's your guy. Milo really needs the chance to relax and enjoy his golden years. If you’re ready for a loving, sweet companion this spring, Milo would love to join your family. Buddy and Brava (Bonded Pair), Male and Female
Domestic Shorthair, 2 and 4 years old
Brava (about 4 years old) and Buddy (about two years old) are an affectionate, energetic pair looking for their forever home!
Brava spent more than a year at a shelter waiting for her forever home. She has really blossomed in a home setting with her new friend, Buddy. They chase each other up and down the stairs, engage in epic wrestling matches, and get into mischief together. They get along really well and often choose to play, bird-watch, and sleep near each other, but don't cuddle together at this point. Brava is hesitant when she's in a new situation, but after a short time she's exploring her new setting, asking for affection, and purring while kneading her fosters' laps. Her world was the size of a kennel for a large stretch of her life, and she is looking for humans who can be patient with her as she regains trust and gets used to living in a larger world. Buddy has helped her feel more confident in exploring. Buddy has a ton of energy, is very curious, and LOVES human attention (extra emphasis on love). He'll play with just about anything, including various cat toys, brooms, and shoelaces. He is friendly and outgoing when meeting new people for the first time and is eager to receive the same love and affection that he shows everybody else. He finds his own quiet space for a nap while his humans work from home, but as soon as a lap is available, he’s ready to purr and get some cuddles. This charming pair currently lives in a home with two adults. They would do best in a home with a lot of human interaction and affection—someone who works from home or is around a lot would be perfect. The two of them are great as a pair, but Buddy has displayed a dominant streak around other cats in the past, so we think they'd do best in a home without other cats to complicate the dynamic. Also, because Brava is more on the reserved side of the spectrum, they would do best in a home with a calmer environment, specifically without young children. If you’re ready to give these two sweeties the chance to truly enjoy the cozy indoor house life they deserve, Brava and Buddy would love to meet you!

Rick, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 4 years old
Rick is a 4-year-old, playful cat looking for his forever home! Rick is a reserved little guy who likes his alone time and space. However, when he’s in the mood, expect frequent meows for attention.
Rick LOVES to play and often prefers playing over treats or pets! His favorite toys are dangle toys and balls. This sleek panther also appreciates a good window view where he can keep an eye on the neighborhood. Although he can be frequently spotted sleeping, when awake Rick has lots of energy. He will need a home that is willing to sit and play with him during his happy cardio play workouts. Rick currently lives in a quiet apartment with 2 people and another cat. Rick will need a quiet, slow-paced home in order to thrive. A house with no children or active animals would suit him best, as loud noises and sudden movements causes him to panic a bit. Experience with a quiet, cautious cat would be appreciated, as Rick needs loving, patient humans who are willing to let him progress at his own pace. Overall, this handsome fellow is lovely but still a bit cautious. He needs a quiet home with little activity. Rick also has a head tilt and a slightly wobbly walk, but those traits just add character! So, if you work from home or are around a lot and are ready to help a sweet cat feel safe and cozy in his new happy life, please consider adding Rick to your family! --- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Take Off, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Take Off is a handsome 3-year-old dude looking to cruise into his forever home! He's a pro at giving you looks full of attitude but is truly a playful lovebug.
This charming fellow is playful and likes to hang around near or cuddle with his foster. He enjoys playing in the cat tunnel, ball track toys, kicker toys, wand chasers, and of course catnip. He tends to follow the foster around and shortly after initiating pets he will plop down and show his belly. He likes a bit of belly rubs and really seems to like chin scratches. His foster works from home and he enjoys relaxing in the spot normally occupied by a keyboard so he can partially rest on the foster's arm and get pets. He can be a purring machine and enjoys lap cuddles sometimes. He'll also cross his front paws when resting like a distinguished gentleman. Take Off is a medium-energy cat who enjoys lots of stimulation and interactive playtime with throwing toys (any cat nip toys or balls) and wand chasers. He would do best in a home with forever humans who work from home or are around a lot, so he can get sufficient attention and cheerfully keep his people company. It is recommended that he is not in a home with kids unless they are older and able to understand cat cues. Take Off typically prefers to initiate pets, and can sometimes view hands and feet as toys. Having various fun, engaging playthings around the house will help distract and redirect him from this habit. He would likely not be a good fit with a shy or easily scared cat since he's a larger cat and likes to wrestle sometimes. Large, chill, friendly cats who like to play would be okay. (He’s never met a dog before.) This lovely boy had a vet stay 2 days after coming into care for a urinary blockage, so he's on prescription urinary food and his litter box needs to be monitored to ensure he's urinating normally. He's also taking gabapentin twice a day for some sensitivity on his back (capsules that are emptied out and mixed with the wet food). It took some time for Take Off to build trust with his foster and will likely require patience, love, and compassion with his forever humans to do the same. Coming from such a rough start, Take Off really needs love, and just has to gain the confidence and tools to channel his energy and realize that so many people can be good and kind. If you’re ready to launch into an adventure of kindness, growth, and compassion, please consider adding Take Off to your family. ----- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Peachy (Special Needs), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 year old
Peachy is a perfectly quirky, little 2-year-old orange cat who will keep you on your toes, currently seeking his forever home! Do you know what time it is?? It is Peach(y) season!! Good thing this Peach(y) is in season all year long -- and even sweeter!
Peachy loves a good bowl of wet food, any teaser toy he can chase after (even more enticing if it makes noise), any location where the sun hits the spot, and anything that challenges him. Peachy is a curious and mischievous boy who will sprint after anything he deems suspicious -- especially if he thinks there will be food for him to feast on, of course! Peachy is vocal about what he wants. Opening a tin can, ripping open a bag of chips, opening a crisp can of soda? Peachy will be there to investigate! Maybe he can’t consume it, but his curiosity will get to him, and he will want a whiff of whatever it is that his human is focused on. This dude is excellent at establishing boundaries and will let you know when he isn’t elated with something. Sometimes he will nip (don’t tell him this) but his canines are chipped so it’s 100% effort and maybe 3% pain (it kind of tickles)! He can get silly with his moves but loves a good chin-scratch and will start his purr motor in appreciation. Peachy would do okay as an only cat but he would absolutely thrive with another cat buddy (maybe even a cat-friendly dog?). This guy is very sociable and loves to challenge his friends but is also extremely gentle and lovely to get along with! Peachy currently resides with 3 humans and 3 cats. He gets supervised outside enrichment time (recess) in a fenced backyard, which he has grown to love! Peachy isn’t a picky eater and will eat just about everything. And the ears on this cat? HIs airplane ears are ready for takeoff! Do you own a Stanley flask and are always aware of the importance of hydration? Peachy is an ambassador for hydration! This guy loves a good drink, and will provide plenty of kitty ASMR with this enthusiastic lapping sounds. He has a rare form of diabetes -- diabetes insipidus -- but as long as he has access to plenty of water and clean litter boxes, he can live a healthy, normal life. If you have any questions or concerns about this medical issue, please reach out to Pet Haven and we'll be able to share more while helping you navigate his health journey with knowledge and compassion. Peaches are in season and this Peach(y) will always be ripe and sweet and ready for any family to pick! Wanna see more of Peachy’s adventures and learn more about him? Catch up with his foster parent on Instagram @homeof.ggpt.

Oberon and Nymphadora are a 6-month old kitten duo looking for their forever home together. Nymphadora is shy and loving and Oberon is playful.
Nymphadora is an adorable tabby girl who is sweet and very affectionate once she gets to know you. She might start out shy but will warm up with encouragement. She loves to be scratched above her tail. Once she feels comfortable, this pretty lady loves to explore her environment and eat any lickable treats like Churus! Her favorite toys are made of soft rabbit fur, which she likes to carry in her mouth. Nymphadora is a medium-energy cat. She likes to play but also needs time to be calm and observe those around her. This little beauty is reserved and may need some coaxing and plenty of space to feel brave enough to seek affection from her humans. She will need to go home with her bonded brother Oberon, who will help her relax into the cozy indoor life. Oberon is a cute white-and-tabby boy who loves to play. Everything becomes a toy in his paws! His favorite toys are plastic and make clicking noises on hard floors. He also loves feather toys on strings. Oberon is high energy and requires lots of play and exercise. This athletic boy plays well by himself but also enjoys chasing after toys on strings with his humans. These two sweetie pies currently live in a house with two humans and nine other cats, including their siblings and momma cat. Because Nymphadora is still reserved, she would do best in a quiet home with lots of places to hide, where she can get accustomed to her new environment. She would prefer patient owners who will respect her space while giving her lots of quiet affection. Oberon would also appreciate having owners who enjoy playing with him daily, and where there is perhaps another cat or two (besides Nymphadora) for him to wrestle with. He is also very affectionate and loves to cuddle with other cats and humans on the bed at night. They get along well with other cats and gentle, older children; they haven’t met any dogs yet. If you’d like to add double the fun to your home, please consider adding Nymphadora and Oberon to your family. ------- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Vander (FIV+ - Pending Adoption), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Vander is a 3-year-old, loving and playful cat looking for his forever home! Vander enjoys spending time in his cat tree, sunbathing, and napping.
He's an athletic fellow who loves to climb and jump onto higher surfaces. He relishes the panoramic view and is a pro at keeping tabs on his humans from above. Vander is also very playful and can often be found rolling around in his cat tunnels, making his humans laugh and smile with his silly antics. If you can't find Vander up high in his cat tree, you’ll probably find him on a human’s lap, soaking up love and attention. Vander is FIV+, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj. Vander may have flare ups of colitis from time to time, but, the best way to keep this at bay is to keep him on the prescription diet he's on now.  If you are looking for a sweet, affectionate cat to add to you home then consider Vander!

Boots (Hospice), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 10 years
Boots is a super sweet, 10-year-old cat looking for a human (or couple) to love and spend her remaining days with. Boots is an affectionate sweetheart who will lie down right by your head and knead your chest and neck. She is always happiest being on or near her human and enjoys snuggling under blankets!
This pretty lady enjoys being picked up and will meow at you in greeting. Boots is just a total lover and brings such joy to whomever she is greeting. She’s like a little shadow that will always follow close to supervise your activities. She’s usually a pretty quiet girl except for when she’s hungry or wants to be scratched, then she uses her big mighty meow to declare to her humans the need for lovings. This girl especially loves the puree treats that come in the lickabe tubes - she’ll give you major brownie points if your home is stocked up on those. As a dignified elderly lady, Boots isn't big on playing with toys, but enjoys rubbing her face against the ones that are filled with catnip, and she has shown interest in those cat videos on YouTube that have fish swimming around. Unfortunately, this beautiful senior lady has stage 3 kidney disease, as well as the cat equivalent of breast cancer. This sweet lady will need loving care to keep her comfortable during her kitty hospice. Boots loves spending her time nestled under the blankets of her human's bed, basking in the sunshine on a comfy pillow, and sitting in your lap no matter what you're doing. Due to her medical needs, she is administered multiple medications daily and given subcutaneous fluids every other day. She takes her medications like a champ and is hardly phased by the poking. Boots does very well on her vet visits and has been told by multiple vets that they are always delighted to see her. While she's not a fan of being in her carrier, she makes trips in it easy and smooth Boots currently lives with four college girls and no other pets. She loves all of the attention and especially enjoys greeting any guests who stop by. Her ideal home is a kind, calm, relaxed environment, with humans who have no other pets and are willing to give her lots of attention. This sweet lady deserves to live out her days surrounded by attention, care, and kindness. Can you gently walk beside her on her journey?
