She has the cutest little overbite that adds to her thoughtful composition, and she loves to come over for pets once the other kitties in the house are tuckered out and have gone off to nap. April is laidback for a young cat, but she still likes to play and romp around with her siblings in the house where she lives with her foster humans. She gets along well with other cats and gentle children over 12, but she hasn’t met any dogs yet. April would do well with another gentle, relaxed cat friend to keep her company. This adorable girl would do best in a quieter home where she can relax and play when she wants to, but without any pressure to join in if she’d rather hang back and just enjoy the scene from a distance. Nana is a brave buccaneer who lost one eye lost in The Battle of Eye Infection, which tragically plagues so many in the world of cat rescue. Princess has a beautiful, rumbling purr to draw in unsuspecting humans so she can slay their hearts with adoration. She also has one eye which struggles with a viral condition but is fully functional. Together, they are a perfect privateer pair of renegade sweethearts! These loving swashbucklers enjoy getting pets, playing with toys, and lounging. They have a medium energy level and would thrive in a clean, quiet home with low activity due to their FIV+ status. Nana and Princess are both FIV+, but that doesn’t mean they can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. It is not transmissible to humans or to dogs. This guy loves to nap but is always interested in company. When he hears or notices humans in his home, he wants to be around them all the time even if he’s just observing. But if you want to pet him for hours? Score! He’s super chill and loves to lounge more than anything. This handsome orange boy currently lives in a house, but I actually think he would prefer an apartment. He will thrive in any environment, but he is blind in one eye, so less space to monitor is kind of nice since he has some vision issues. Plus, a smaller space means he can be in closer proximity to his humans! 🙂 Timber is getting some teeth removed so he will need a partial or full wet food diet (we will see if he will still eat dry food after his surgery. He does eat some dry food now, even though his mouth is currently a bit painful). Timber is also FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats can live with FIV negative cats in stable, indoor-only social environments. She has not yet been introduced to dogs or other cats (besides her littermates and Mom) but she has the potential to do okay with slow and proper introductions, due to her young age. She would do best in a quieter home with compassionate humans who respect that she’ll need extra time to decompress and to come out of her shell. Baby is an absolute gem who will need regular checkups due to her age and to monitor her kidney values. Her forever family should be committed to continuing her care and monitoring her water intake so she can continue to live her very best life. She is so worth it! Baby will thrive in a quiet home, preferably being the only pet as she has previously experienced bullying. Ideally someone will be home most of the day to offer her comfort and frequent feedings in a clam space. She can jump up on the bed but one level living (food / water / litter box / bed) with nightlights will be best for her. Baby is a discerning gourmet and prefers Friskies or Hills Science Diet chicken flavored wet ood. She loves chicken flavored Churu treats as well – especially as “frosting” on top of the wet food. She’s a lovely kitty and at this stage of life prefers relaxation/catnapping to running around/playtime. Baby is quite affectionate but with boundaries so she will appreciate access to some private space at times. Usually, she will want to keep you company in everything you do. From working (cuddled on your lab or next to you) to relaxing on the couch (when she’ll lay on your chest and purr) to bedtime (where she’ll continue to soothe you with her purrs and cuddles). She loves to be on, next to, or near her people, but is not a fan of being picked up. When she feels she’s not getting enough attention from you, she’ll use her (declawed) paws on your arm in the cutest way that is hard to say no to, but she also knows when to walk away if you aren’t able to respond at that exact moment! Senior cats have so much love to give and deserve the very best. Baby is so ready to live out her golden years in a caring, quiet forever home. Could that be with you?

Olive likes to sit back and watch her siblings play and also enjoys jumping into the action sometimes. Olive is happy to play with a variety of toys, climb the cat tree, and sit by the window to watch the neighborhood. When she’s done with her kitten cardio, this little lady likes to curl up next to us for a good nap and in the evening—she's a great couch companion, sitting by our side as we watch our favorite shows. Olive also likes to spend time with our kids and nap with our young daughter. This pretty girl has a good mix of playful energy and calmness. She seems happiest when she is perched by a window to keep watch over the street, the birds, and the comings and goings of the neighborhood. Olive lives in a busy house! In addition to her three littermates, she shares her home with two adults, two kids (a 2-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl), three resident cats (one male and two females) AND a 75-lb dog! She gets along well with the kids, the resident cats, and enjoys being with the dog, too. Olive's ideal home would include a nice window perch and people for her to curl up with and enjoy moments of snuggly relaxation. Naturally playful, this gal would enjoy a variety of toys along with a fixture like a cat tree to climb. She is a busy gal who always has time to play and explore the house. She also enjoys resting by a window and napping with our young daughter. This sweetheart lives in a busy house! Poppy gets along great with the kids and often naps with our daughter. She does well with the resident cats and likes to play with the dog, too. Dom is a handsome tuxedo fellow and is your lovable cowardly lion aka the best cuddle monster. Once comfortable, Dom is a singer—he’ll sing for you and his brother Winston, whether he’s happy, teasing, or excited to see you. While adjusting to new homes or people, though, Dom can stay quite distant or hesitant for a while. His brother Winston slowly helps him adventure and demonstrate the home’s safety—and Dom soon catches on. Dom’s personality is all cuddle and wonder—he’ll happily take the crook of your arm while on the couch or find a small blanket to sit atop; he also loves to hang his head from high spaces and gaze around. Dom spends his day sleeping, trying to catch the laser pointer, and tagging along and playing backup with his beloved brother Winston on his adventures. Winston is your new right-hand man. He’s energetic, goofy, and interested in everything, and able to play nonstop with you or his brother Dom. Winston’s personality is a lovable goofball. He’s talkative and loves to talk to you even though he can’t speak human. Once he’s comfortable, this handsome guy will be your best buddy—staying nearby when play resumes. Winston spends his day watching the squirrels outside, chasing balls around the living room or sleeping in his plush cat bed. Like a dog, Winston will often offer you a few licks to let you know he’s in for some lovin’—the chin’s the spot. Winston prefers a deep neck and chest scratch; whereas Dom much prefers a chin, back and butt rub. The happiest part of Winston’s day is playtime. His energy level is high. Alongside his brother, Winston’s energy can always match if he’s not already the instigator of playtime with Dom. Together, Dom and Winston are two little best friends who are looking for a home where they can be their joyous, energetic selves. When you’re lucky enough to witness this, it’s an adorable bedlam of snowball paws and fluffy slam-downs by the boys. They love to chase each other and wrestle—who wins is still undecided. Dom and Winston currently live in a three-floor townhome and can comfortably navigate throughout. These adorable brothers are happiest in homes with at least one large space or hallway for running and chasing each other. Rugs or carpets help, so they can practice their zoomies. They are strictly indoor cats. Dom and Winston would ideally thrive in a home that’s familiar with the quirks and behavior of cats. Once he feels comfortable and relaxed, this handsome guy will be your shoulder-crook cuddle partner in any space after your relationship grows. Until then, Dom takes much longer than Winston to adjust to new spaces and people. He’s also more sensitive to loud noises, bangs or stomping in the home by tall people. During the first three weeks in his new space, Dom will mostly hide; slowly, he will begin to observe you and the home from safe distances. But with time, and successful tips you’ll receive from his foster parent, Dom will become comfortable in no time. This dynamic duo can bring lots of love, fun, wrestling, and joy to your home. Mister is a fun, carefree, and affectionate cat. He is both the sweetest and sometimes the craziest boy, who only knows how to love and play. He does not know how to stop purring. He will follow you around the house and happily hang out with you all day long. Mister likes to show affection by rubbing his head on your legs, hands, face, and anything else you may allow. He is happiest when he is around his people. This guy loves his playtime. He gets random bursts of energy that result in wild zoomies around the house. He likes to chase toys, climb cat trees, wrestle with Dixie, and is gentle and considerate when playing with his people. He is a lot of fun to watch and to interact with; he leaves us laughing and loving him every day. Mister loves everyone and everything. Dixie is a sweet, playful, and curious cat. She can be quiet and reserved at first and takes a little bit of time to warm up. Once she gets comfortable, she is a snuggler. This pretty stripey girl will join you on the couch and likes to lie down in your lap, even if it means sitting on top of Mister or kicking him off to do so. The way to Dixie’s heart is definitely through play. She loves toys, especially if it is something she can chase. Dixie is a beautiful and easy-going companion who also adapts and adjusts well. They both have a moderate energy level, often switching between cuddles and play. Mister and Dixie came to us battling chronic upper respiratory symptoms. After some attentive care and a few medications, they are doing much better. Since some of the symptoms are chronic, they are both on a long-term antibiotic. They do very well and have minimal symptoms while on the medication. They both get a small amount of the liquid medication once every other day. They are very easy to give medications to and tolerate it well. Mister was found to have some urinary crystals and was switched to a prescription urinary diet. He has done wonderfully on the diet and has no urinary symptoms. He also has mild asthma, a low-grade heart murmur, and tested positive for FIV. He shows no symptoms and none of these affect his day-to-day life. None of this means he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats (like Dixie) in stable social environments. Mister’s confidence and worry-free attitude often help Dixie come out of her shell. These two are a perfect example of a truly bonded pair. They currently live on the lower level of a house with 3 people. They have their own room that they stay in when no one is home; they freely roam the house when people are home. Mister and Dixie are very adaptable and adjust well. They would do well in nearly any home, but their ideal place would have people who are around a lot and who would really enjoy playing with them, cuddling them, and just soaking up their wonderful company and affection.

Azula is a gentle kitten with the cutest white mustache to go along with her silly but gentle personality. This sweet love-bug enjoys spending time snuggling or playing with her siblings, especially her sister, Suki. Azula is a perfect balance of playful kitten and sleepy princess. She is always down to play but doesn’t have that intense energy that her boy siblings have. Suki is an observant stripey gal who is quiet and very level-headed. When a human is around, she would love to sit next to them or on their lap and observe the rest of her siblings playing. Although she likes to play on her own terms—she wouldn’t say no to chasing a string toy or hunting a bug. Suki is very laid-back for being a young kitten. She enjoys watching the happenings around her. Azula and Suki live in a house with their own room with their 2 other siblings. Azula has met two resident cats as well as the large-breed resident dog, who she wasn’t the biggest fan of whereas Suki was more curious but still kept her distance. Azula would prefer a quieter home where she can let her lovely personality blossom. Suki would also love a relaxed quiet home where she can spend time with her humans and watch the birds out of the window. Rachel enjoys playing with her spring! She loves taking it into the tub and we have been working on her to bring it to us so she can play fetch. Monica and Phoebe have fun when you drag a string around, or you will catch them watching the birds. These little sweeties have the tiniest little baby meows. I call Phoebe my little M&M because she just melts in your arms and has started to sleep by my legs under the covers. All three will lie down together, either next to you or on the cat towers. Monica is super sweet and cute; she will often rest on my chest for chin scratches and pets. All three are respectful of your beauty sleep, and will let you sleep until you wake up. Rachel comes in first place in the High-Energy Derby, always wanting to play and ready to romp around, followed by Monica who plays but also likes to chill. Phoebe plays a little bit, but she mostly just likes to look pretty all day. These three beauties currently live in a house with me (their foster parent) and my 14-year-old son. The girls would thrive in a home with humans who can spread their attention to all three cats. A house might be a better fit for their space needs--or a really big townhome or apartment. To love Willow and Aspen is to totally luck out, in fact you might even consider trying the lottery tonight, that’s how lucky you are to find them. Willow and Aspen have quite a redemption story. They were found as dehydrated and emaciated 5-week-old kittens living in extremely unsanitary conditions. We know they were between 5-6 weeks old because of their eye color, but their size was equivalent to a kitten just 2-3 weeks old. Their first foster mom carefully and diligently nursed them back to health. Their journey included lots of vet visits, overnight vet stays, IV fluids, round the clock feeding schedules and lots and lots of TLC. Each day they would load up in the carrier to accompany their foster mom to work so she could be sure to continually watch them, responding to their every need. Now, 9 weeks later Aspen and Willow are nearly unrecognizable. They have tripled in weight and their skinny frames have been replaced with fat and happy bellies. The only thing left over from those days are Willow’s scraggly whiskers, which just add to her adorable charm. Willow and Aspen now relish in the good ole life, enjoying all the fabulous things that come with being spoiled and loved little kittens. Willow and Aspen are little parkour masters. If they can find something to climb, there is a 100% chance they’ll be climbing it. Whether it’s a cat condo, book shelf, or even a human bending over, they love to climb and perch like parrots. They love any and all attention they can get. When their humans so much as look in their direction or begin to speak, their purr motors immediately begin to rumble. Aspen has the cutest little squeak to his purr and Willow’s purr can be felt to the core. Aspen has the cutest little chirp and loves to talk talk talk as he runs, explores and plays. At night time, Willow and Aspen love to curl up on their foster human’s pillow for a good night's rest. Their aforementioned purr is like a built-in sound machine and reminds their foster human how lucky she is to be loved by such precious souls. More than anything in the world Willow and Aspen love each other. They have an inseparable bond and do absolutely everything together. If they’re running and playing, they’re doing it together. If they’re sun bathing and napping, they’re doing it together. In fact, oftentimes if one of them is in the litter box, the other one is too, either joining in a bathroom break, or playing with their sibling’s tail. These kiddos have conquered so much together and their relationship and bond is a testament to their strength. Willow and Aspen are extremely curious, adaptable, and versatile. They’ve lived in 2 different foster homes and adjusted pretty easily both times. They currently live in a foster home with 2 humans, 2 resident cats and a resident dog. They do great with other cats and children, and have not yet met the resident dog, although their adaptable demeanor would suggest that with slow controlled introductions they would adjust well to most any home. Ideally, they would spend forever with humans who are around a lot and are excited to include Willow and Aspen in all of their day to day activities. The more attention they can get, the better! Aspen and Willow have their foster human absolutely wrapped around their little paws. Their love, loyalty and affectionate nature reminds their foster humans of all the goodness in the world. They are the best part of our day, and whoever is lucky enough to spend forever with these precious souls will no doubt feel the same way. He loves roaming around his home, window-watching, and finding vertical spaces where he can observe the household activity from above. While he enjoys a good nap, this busy guy also has bursts of energy and loves to play. Once he warms up to you, he’ll be your best friend—always wanting to be nearby and ready for cuddles. He knows how to switch between full-on cardio sessions and peaceful slumber throughout the day. Stitch currently lives with two adults and one male cat. He would thrive in a loving home that gives him space to explore and plenty of cozy spots to relax. He’s a big fan of high up spots where he can perch and watch the household activity from above. Stitch does well with children and other animals, especially if they’re gentle and respectful of his space. He would definitely love having a playful cat companion to keep him company. This loving guy is so ready to settle into his lifelong home. Patient, caring humans who allow him time to warm up will be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate, and cuddly friend. Tux is the dapper, formally dressed happy-go-lucky guy who is the friendliest cat in town! Tux is a friend to all people and likes to spend his days getting affection and attention, eating yummy treats, and snoozing! Tux will play when his feline bff Kiwi plays or his people play, but he usually doesn't engage in play by himself. He doesn't "zoom” ...this guy is chill. Tux is pretty much happy to go along with whatever you put in front of him - if you want to play, he wants to play; if you want to nap and cuddle, he wants to nap and cuddle. He is a sweet, amenable guy who just wants to hang out with his buddies and have fun! Kiwi is the beautiful tabico and is one of the sweetest cats I've ever met. She lives for attention and cuddles and will follow you around, wanting to be by your side—or ideally, in your lap and anywhere you go. Kiwi will gamely bat at a feather toy, she'll sit and look out the window when there are no people around, and she enjoys sleeping in her soft cat bed. But more than anything she wants attention, touch, and companionship from people. She will make a great couch potato/Netflix companion/book reading buddy for someone! This super-affectionate girl has not been displaying many ""zoomies”—for her, it’s all about the cuddles. Both Kiwi and Tux are FELV+. Because Kiwi and Tux are FeLV+, they cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Kiwi and Tex maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life. You'll never have trouble finding him! He is also a champ using the litter box. Tux and Kiwi are currently living in the cat foster room of their fosters house. Because he is FELV+, he cannot be out and about in the main area of my house due to my other cats. He loves being with his buddy Kiwi and is perfectly content with a full bowl of food at breakfast and dinner time, a big window to look out of, and a soft napping place on the bed. He loves both humans in the house. He hasn't met any dogs, but he is so friendly with other cats and people that he would probably do just fine after a proper introduction. Gentle kids over 12 would be great too. Kiwi especially would thrive in a home with someone who can give her LOTS of attention. Baby is an absolute gem who will need regular checkups due to her age and to monitor her kidney values. Her forever family should be committed to continuing her care and monitoring her water intake so she can continue to live her very best life. She is so worth it! Baby will thrive in a quiet home, preferably being the only pet as she has previously experienced bullying. Ideally someone will be home most of the day to offer her comfort and frequent feedings in a clam space. She can jump up on the bed but one level living (food / water / litter box / bed) with nightlights will be best for her. Baby is a discerning gourmet and prefers Friskies or Hills Science Diet chicken flavored wet food. She loves chicken flavored Churu treats as well – especially as “frosting” on top of the wet food. She’s a lovely kitty and at this stage of life prefers relaxation/catnapping to running around/playtime. Baby is quite affectionate but with boundaries so she will appreciate access to some private space at times. Usually, she will want to keep you company in everything you do. From working (cuddled on your lab or next to you) to relaxing on the couch (when she’ll lay on your chest and purr) to bedtime (where she’ll continue to soothe you with her purrs and cuddles). She loves to be on, next to, or near her people, but is not a fan of being picked up. When she feels she’s not getting enough attention from you, she’ll use her (declawed) paws on your arm in the cutest way that is hard to say no to, but she also knows when to walk away if you aren’t able to respond at that exact moment! She will also let you hold her little paw 🙂 Faena loves to explore the room she’s in — she’s active and likes to chase wands and feathers but she’ll eventually settle down next to you on the couch or in a cat tree. She loves to be up high. Initially a little shy, this pretty girl warms up to you quickly. She is a cat who will love you back — she’ll greet you with her meows when you come back home and circle your legs, asking for pets. She’s a lively cat — young and strong. She likes to watch the birds out the window, but she also enjoys basking in a sunny spot in your apartment. She likes to be in the same room as you are and will likely move locations when you do. Faena lives in a duplex with two adults and one cat. The resident cat doesn't like her very much, but her previous owner said Faena had lived with other cats before and got along great with them. Faena’s ideal home has a lot of comfy spots to hang out in -- and a cat tree! She would do well with other cats and would be great with kids, since she's playful and gentle. She also would do well in an environment where she can spend time with her favorite people — with cat parents who work from home, for example. First up, Thomas! This fluffy boy LOVES people and affection but also loves to play. As soon as he finds a comfy spot on your lap, he may also see something move that he needs to go inspect. As soon as he is done investigating, he will come running and flop back into your lap. He earned the nickname Tom Foolery because he must check out everything and will play with anything! If you bring home groceries, they must be investigated. If you pull out clean laundry, he's going to test its warmth. if your kids play with nerf guns, bullets on the ground or in the air are fair game. Thomas took a little longer to brave the great upstairs and meet the resident dog than his brothers but, now that he has overcome that fear, he does not willingly go to his room at bedtime. This handsome boy has been very respectful of the resident cat who is still adjusting to her new lot as a ""big sister."" She has made it known that she would like her space, and Thomas has been great at finding people and his brothers to play with instead. This cutie pie has a medium energy level. He has his playful moments when he must inspect things and loves chasing things and batting stuff around but he is also good at calming down and cuddling. Next up, Miles! This fluffy-haired cutie is the most independent of the litter. He was the first one to brave the upstairs and meet the resident dog (a 70-lb. shepherd). He is very confident and eager to be with people. Miles has a medium energy level—he loves to play and zoom around, but also loves his pets, snuggles, and cuddle time when he is ready to relax. These handsome boys currently live with their two brothers, a resident cat, a resident dog, three kids (ages 7, 9, and 11) and two adults. Miles and Thomas love people, so the more the merrier would be ideal for them. Miles will not back down to the resident dog and will let her know when he's annoyed with her attempts at sniffing him. I think he will do fine in a home with a respectful dog. This sweet girl loves to play with small balls and the wand. She'll play for however long her battery stays charged. After some fun high-energy playtime, it’s time for a nice nap. Samantha would thrive as the only cat in the house, with forever humans who are around a lot and with plenty of room to play. She hasn’t met a dog yet, but will be okay with gentle kids over five. Zion is your typical orange boy. He seems to think he’s a dog and will either “sploot” on the floor all stretched out or curl up and sleep on his back. This sweet muffin loves to be up high in the cat tree – it’s the best vantage point to keep tabs on his siblings! Zion is one of three big orange boys from the National Parks litter. He drinks from the cat fountain by letting it drip down his forehead and into his mouth. Give his sister, Arches, a pat on the head and you’ll notice she’s started taking up this habit too. As a much more refined, formally dressed beauty, you wouldn’t expect such uncouth behavior. With her tiny white mustache, and sleek, shiny fur, she’s ready to steal your heart, 007-style. Tuxedo-lovers rejoice because Arches is here: “Bartender, I’ll take a martini, shaken… not stirred.” Currently, these adorable buddies live in a foster home with two adult humans. They’ve spent their lives with their mama and siblings, and now all are grown enough to find their forever homes. These two were born in foster care and have been lovingly socialized their whole lives. They are very adaptable, open for adventure, and would fit in well in many family settings. She loves to play but spends most of her day calmly exploring or napping. Most of her daily exercise comes from her evening zoomies or play time with her feather-on-a-stick toy. This sweet girl currently lives with one human and no other pets in a large apartment. She has lived with a dog before but is highly selective about dog and cat friends (she likes some, and others...not so much). Nadja’s ideal home is calm, with only one (if any) other pets and no young children. She would do fine with gentle, cat-savvy children over 12. Her forever people would also have to be okay with brushing her long fur, to keep her looking and feeling her best. I am very reserved at first, and will hide, but once I get to know you, I will be your best friend. I love to come up to you for pets; you’ll also find me lounging around, taking naps, and watching my fave episodes of Bird TV. Toys are great, too--I like to play with wands, as well as anything with catnip in it. I am a bit of a fluffy guy that could really benefit from the active life, so I would really appreciate someone who could take time to play with me every day. I currently live with 3 adult humans in a house, along with three other cats that I’ve met from afar. I love my food, but I am currently on a weight-loss journey to keep me healthy and happy, so I will need caring people to keep me on a feeding schedule of healthy food. My ideal environment will be a quiet and low-stress home with no young children. I have only met other cats from a distance, but it's possible that with patience and slow introduction I may get along with another mellow cat. I am a big guy with a big heart, and I can’t wait to meet you!

He does get chatty with us when we leave his room to do other things, because he was found living outside and doesn’t want to be left alone. This sweetheart just needs a bit of time to become more confident and secure in a loving home. Right now, Tomm has medium energy. He is more interested in snuggling and affection than playing, but that will probably change once he is comfortable with his forever family and can let all his zoomies out. Tomm currently lives in his spacious basement quarters, which he has all to himself. There are other cats in the home, but he has not fully healed from his neuter surgery yet, so he hasn’t met any of them. This snuggly man would thrive in any home that is filled with love and is permanent! He has spent enough time alone outside, so he should only be kept indoors unless he has a nice, safe, fully enclosed catio! He likes to give sweet kisses, but if he gets excited, he will also unintentionally give a few gentle love bites; gentle redirection by offering a toy or more snuggles is an easy fix. Tomm is a young guy, but he has seen more than enough of the outdoor life. This guy is so ready to know only a soft bed, warm sunlight, and lots of affection with his compassionate, permanent family. Justy is blind (her eyes were removed while in rescue) and very aware of her peoples’ presence. She rests most of the time, and as soon as she hears your voice, she is moving her cute peanut head around waiting for you to come give her love. As a lovely senior lady, Justy is chill and enjoys relaxing for much of the day. She lives the princess life in her own private kitty room in her foster home, as we have a full house of dogs and cats and want her safe. Justy would thrive with someone looking for a companion cat that loves attention but who is not expecting playful nature—Justy is your ideal reading and couch companion! She can go to a home with or without cats; she lived most of her life with her bff Shadow, who passed away recently. Word has it that Justy LOVED to travel when she was with her original humans, Sylvia and Harry, who loved her very much. Sadly, Sylvia went into memory care recently, and Harry died suddenly a few months ago. A Minnesota-based snowbird couple, Sylvia and Harry would take Justy and Shadow with them on their road trips. Every year, the cats would be loaded into the family car as they traveled to California, Texas, and finally to Florida for a few weeks’ stay. Sylvia and Harry were always delighted at their wonderful travel companions. Justy and Shadow had access to a safe, screened-in, three-season patio in Minnesota, which they enjoyed very much. They were content to follow their humans from room to room. Justy was a bit more reserved than Shadow, due to her blindness, but once she recognized a friend, she would find a safe spot from which to “hide” and observe, while still being part of the action. Harvey always loved to tell the story about feeding time. He would just have to tap the bowls together and they would come right over, ready to eat. That made him smile so much. With Shadow over the rainbow bridge and Harry and Sylvia gone, Justy is so ready to start a new chapter in her life in a patient, compassionate home with people who are ready to learn about caring for a blind cat while giving her all the love she so richly deserves.

Mostly, she just purrs loudly and likes to sit right next to her humans. She occasionally makes cute sounds to communicate. She also loves to lay in silly positions. Lilu is mid-low energy. Her energy is very normal for a cat her age. She can still actively move around but does not get the zoomies. She just likes to follow people around and be right by their side, but not in an overly clingy way. This sweet girl currently lives with two adults and no other animals or children. Previously she spent 11 years living with a couple, a dog, and two children under the age of 5. Lilu would do well in a variety of settings given her flexible nature. When new people come over to the house, she is likely to hide at first but will come out on her own terms once she is comfortable. The most important factor in a home for Lilu is having forever humans who can give her a lot of physical affection with head scratches and pets. Someone who works from home or is around frequently would be ideal! This pretty lady is very comfortable with her nails being trimmed, being put into a crate, being brushed, etc. She also does not mind taking medicine mixed into her food. She uses her litter box like a champ, and prefers clay litter. Her current foster family not yet introduced her to a harness outside, but her previous family said she enjoys the outdoors. In her future home, gentle walks on a harness, or a fully enclosed, safe catio might be fun for her. In her foster home, Rainbow is beginning to enjoy the presence of other cats, often grooming one of her newfound feline friends. She loves to be held like a baby and press her cheek against her humans. She has a bit of foot fetish and loves to rub her face on toes and socks. Clarabelle came to Pet Haven with six growing kittens. She has given her all to her little family and now this stunning mama is ready for some pampering. She is very good at articulating her needs and she'll tell you when her next meal is due. Clarabelle uses the box without issue but does best with a box with high sides. This lovely girl is playful, but living with six kittens wore her out at times. Like all young cats, she will likely be more energetic when motherhood is behind her, and her beautiful kittens are off in their own cozy forever homes. Clarabelle currently lives with two adults. She likes new people and with a Churu treat, friendship comes quickly. She did very well with all children and teenagers. Because this sweet mama was raising kittens in her foster home, her protective instincts kept her from meeting the other adult cats who also lived there. She did chirp when she heard the other female cat in her foster home, so she may welcome a friendly, gentle cat buddy after slow introductions. Clarabelle would love people who want to give her snuggles and play time. She needs a home with people who are around frequently, and who will monitor her weight and ensure he gains a bit to stay strong and healthy. She previously had tummy trouble and six nursing kittens, so she needs to catch up. Fortunately, this discerning gourmet has an excellent appetite. She prefers canned food over dry kibble. This loving gal is a wonderful mother to her thriving kittens and is now ready for some me time! She will reward your love and attention with plenty of affection right back at you. She is playful and adventurous, and then snuggly and sweet when she gets worn out. She loves to climb in laps to have a snuggle. This pretty girl also loves wand toys and wrestling with her siblings. She is always the first of her litter to climb to new places to explore. Her bff Jersey is a goofy boy who loves to hide in cardboard boxes and make flailing attempts at catching wand toys in the air. He loves to climb onto human shoulders to perch. Jersey makes his foster mom and dad laugh we he growls at fabric knots and plush mice toys. This handsome snow-white sweetie is super playful until he is tired. If you catch him napping in a sunny spot and give him chin scratches, you are almost guaranteed instant purrs. Elsie and Jersey have a strong bond; they are usually found sleeping and playing together. The kittens are full of kitten hi-jinks and play, chase, and wrestle for hours in the morning and evening. They have sleepy afternoons and are generally quiet overnight. Elsie and Jersey live with two adults. They are comfortable around new people, and they did great with older children and teenagers. However, the high-pitched noise and quick movements of young children overwhelmed the kittens. Jersey and Elsie met several cats in their foster home, and they adjusted really well to their new feline friends. The kittens will do best in home with a couple people to give them love, attention, and ample play time. They would love a couple of high cat towers to climb, play, and nap. White cats with blue eyes can have hearing loss and the vet suspects Jersey may have started to lose hearing. If Jersey is albino, he may have other medical needs over time. Because Jersey may lose hearing, the kittens need to go to a home that will stay attentive to any changes, and to be willing to work closely with a vet and get additional care if needed. Elsie and Jersey eat like champs and use the litter box perfectly. They prefer wet food several times a day and only snack on dry food kibble occasionally. Elsie is already spayed, and Jersey’s appointment is set for June 14. After that, these busy little cutie-pies are ready to wrestle their way right into your heart!

But in the loving care of her foster family, this sweet girl is learning that people aren't so scary after all—and has blossomed into an affectionate sweetheart! At first, Missy kept her distance. But now, she's discovering the joys of human companionship--following her foster moms like a shadow, curling up on her foster mom's lap while she works and being carried around the house like the princess she is. Missy's ideal home would be with a quiet person or family with quiet respectful children. She is reserved and still a bit skittish; therefore, a person or family that understand that she'll take time to warm up to her new home would be best. She'd also be most happy with another cat around her age to play with--either another Pet Haven cat or an active young resident cat to show her the ropes. She does well with other cats and gentle older children but hasn't met a dog yet. She'll happily chase after catnip toys and feather wands, claim the best window seat to watch squirrels and passing cars, and is also a skilled mouser. Just be sure to keep an eye on your dinner plate—Yuumi is a sneaky food thief. Yuumi was found in a snowbank with severe frostbite, leading to nerve damage and her tail amputation. She has spent over a year recovering and adjusting to medications, proving to be one of the strongest, most resilient cats out there. She takes her meds like a champ and will shower you with love in return for your care. She is also slightly overweight and would benefit from a home where she can stay active. She thrives in a home where her humans are around often. When making friends, she also does well with older children (12+) who can respect her boundaries, as she can get overstimulated at times. Yuumi does not get along well with other cats and prefers to be the only cat in the home. She isn’t much of a cuddler but likes to be near people—she often likes to sit on the couch or the floor near you while you watch TV, but she’s not typically going to get in your lap. Scrabble goes nuts for almost any kind of toy but particularly loves balls or springs to bat around on the ground. She is super happy to entertain herself with her toys or birdwatching out the window; she also loves giving herself a manicure by scratching, so it’s a good idea to have a couple of scratching posts or pads around the house for her. Scrabble can be a bit mouthy when she is in the middle of playing, similar to the way kittens can be a bit nippy—it's not malicious and does not hurt. She can easily be gently redirected with a new toy or activity. Scrabble loves food both wet and dry; she might benefit from something like an automatic or timed feeder, so she doesn’t bug her humans too much when she is hungry. Besides at mealtime, she is a very tidy kitty and takes very good care of her long soft fur; her forever humans will need to brush her regularly to help her keep her lovely coat in tip-top shape. Scrabble uses the litter box very well. This pretty girl truly enjoys being in the mix of household activities. She is fairly high energy for an adult cat and is always happy to play. Scrabble lives with two adults in a quiet home with no other animals. Previously she lived with other cats and her high energy could be off-putting to them (she loved playing amped-up, kitten-like games of chase, and they weren’t always into it). Because of this, Scrabble would likely do best life as a solo kitty; however, she’s never tried living with a dog. She is very outgoing and will do well in a variety of households, as long as her people either work from home or are are around a lot to give her the affection she seeks. Since she can get a bit nippy when playing, she may not be the best fit for young kids. She would be better suited to cat-savvy older children/tweens/teens. This energetic, adorable gal is so ready to live the good life in a cozy, loving home that can support her vibrant personality and give her the care, attention and company she enjoys. Darr and Hoban are very calm, easygoing, independent cats who take life as it comes. They enjoy sunbathing near a window, taking long naps, and playing with catnip toys. When It's time for a snooze, they prefer their private luxury suite under the beds.

For 7-1⁄2 years, Gerri and her sisters lived very independently in the big house until her owner moved to a nursing home. When this beauty came into foster care, she was so matted it wasn’t possible to pet her except on the top of her head. Once shaved, she was so much more comfortable. Her initial veterinary appointment showed mouth inflammation, and she was scheduled for a dental consult and was diagnosed with stomatitis requiring 15 of her teeth be removed. She does wonderfully with just a few teeth -- enjoying both dry cat food and her much loved Fancy Feast Savory Centers wet food. Geri enjoys human attention but is also independent and although brought up with three littermates, she doesn’t interact with them much. She prefers to lay in the sun for her naps or sit at the top of the cat tree and watch the birds and squirrels for some “me time.” Even though she is now a mature lady, she still has her “zoomie” moments – chasing after and playing with small toys. She likes to be brushed on her head and back and is slowly getting used to being brushed on her chest and stomach – key spots to stay on top of, since that is where any matting is prone to start. Her foster has trimmed her nails, and although it is not Geri’s favorite things, she does tolerate it. Her forever humans should be committed to helping her keep her beautiful coat looking its best. Geri likes human interaction and will sit on your lap – especially when you are sitting at the computer. When she has had enough interaction, she will give a small grunt and jump down. This pretty girl currently lives with her 3 siblings but doesn't interact with them very much. She would do great in a home with humans who work from home or are around a lot, and who are okay with a cat sitting on their lap when at the computer or when watching TV. Although she has enjoyed pets from a respectful six-year-old child, Geri would probably prefer a home with older, more mature children and no other pets. A cat tree by a window would be incredibly welcome – she loves to sleep at the top. This beautiful lady has been through some upheavals and is so ready to live a cozy, loving life with her forever humans. He is an enthusiastic lap cat, placing his full body on your belly to get ear and chin rubs while purring away; he will also head-butt your legs anytime you walk by. Gary's favorite activities are to chase his mouse toys and watch Cat TV on Youtube -- even better if you play with his mouse with him and share the couch or bed with him while he's watching his television programs, lol! Gary is also quite a chatty guy. He's sure to make his opinion known via meows, chatters, and grumbles. This handsome fellow is medium-active; he likes to play with toys but never goes full ""zoomie"" mode An ideal home for Gary is somewhere he can thrive with routine. Before he came to me, Gary was in an unstable living situation where his owner couldn't always afford food or litter. Because of this, Gary gets nervous when his routine isn't followed because he's used to a life in which he doesn't know if he's going to get his next meal or if he'll have somewhere to relieve himself. The perfect home for Gary would be able to stick to a routine that helps him feel comfortable and safe, with two nutritious meals a day and a cleanly scooped box. This lovely boy would thrive in a place where his humans treasure playtime and snuggle time at the end of the day. I think Gary could do okay with an owner that works outside of the home, as long as he gets his regularly scheduled evening snuggles. However, if you work from home or are around a lot—even better! Gary also gets along well with other cats, but no dogs or children, please. Because of the insecurity of Gary's unfortunate pre-foster life, he struggles with transition and can be a bit spicy when he is first moved to a new situation. Gary's adopter should be prepared to give him a few days to adjust in a low-stimulation room, with plenty of patience and gentle pets. Nala tends to warm up to women more quickly than men—a home with one or two women would be a great fit for her. She doesn't like being picked up so older cat-conscious children would be best for her.. She will be nervous for the first few days of her new transition, so she needs a forever family who will be patient with her, respect her boundaries, and allow her to show love on her own time. She has only three legs (which makes her all the cuter) and is FIV+, but is healthy as can be. Nala is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean she can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! This guy is curious. He loves to spend time in the bathroom with you and, fair warning, would love to eat some toilet paper if he could get to it. Milo enjoys quiet exploring but will occasionally meow when he thinks it's time for food. This handsome fellow is very reserved and will take some time to gain confidence and feel more comfortable. He gets along with other cats but does not really want to hang with them. He likes to have his own space but has never been physical with another cat or human; he will hiss when annoyed but that’s it. He loves pets and scratches and occasionally will do some solo play time with his favorite cat nip toys. Occasionally he will run around, but for the most part, he is low energy. Milo currently lives with his foster dad and one other foster cat Tigger in a two-bedroom apartment. He has spent all his foster care with Tigger; however, as much as Tigger would like Milo to care for him, Milo is content to just be acquaintances. Milo would thrive in a home with lots of sunny spots and windows. He would do best in a quieter place with either a fellow calm, chill cat, or as a solo kitty with people who are around frequently and committed to helping him gain trust and feel more at ease. I do not foresee him bonding with another cat, but he has been able to live with kittens and Tigger with no issues. He loves to switch up his bed location—whether it be in the middle of the floor, hiding in a cupboard, or sleeping in a cat bed! Brava spent more than a year at a shelter waiting for her forever home. She has really blossomed in a home setting with her new friend, Buddy. They chase each other up and down the stairs, engage in epic wrestling matches, and get into mischief together. They get along really well and often choose to play, bird-watch, and sleep near each other, but don't cuddle together at this point. Brava is hesitant when she's in a new situation, but after a short time she's exploring her new setting, asking for affection, and purring while kneading her fosters' laps. Her world was the size of a kennel for a large stretch of her life, and she is looking for humans who can be patient with her as she regains trust and gets used to living in a larger world. Buddy has helped her feel more confident in exploring. Buddy has a ton of energy, is very curious, and LOVES human attention (extra emphasis on love). He'll play with just about anything, including various cat toys, brooms, and shoelaces. He is friendly and outgoing when meeting new people for the first time and is eager to receive the same love and affection that he shows everybody else. He finds his own quiet space for a nap while his humans work from home, but as soon as a lap is available, he’s ready to purr and get some cuddles. This charming pair currently lives in a home with two adults. They would do best in a home with a lot of human interaction and affection—someone who works from home or is around a lot would be perfect. The two of them are great as a pair, but Buddy has displayed a dominant streak around other cats in the past, so we think they'd do best in a home without other cats to complicate the dynamic. Also, because Brava is more on the reserved side of the spectrum, they would do best in a home with a calmer environment, specifically without young children. This charming fellow is playful and likes to hang around near or cuddle with his foster. He enjoys playing in the cat tunnel, ball track toys, kicker toys, wand chasers, and of course catnip. He tends to follow the foster around and shortly after initiating pets he will plop down and show his belly. He likes a bit of belly rubs and really seems to like chin scratches. His foster works from home and he enjoys relaxing in the spot normally occupied by a keyboard so he can partially rest on the foster's arm and get pets. He can be a purring machine and enjoys lap cuddles sometimes. He'll also cross his front paws when resting like a distinguished gentleman. Take Off is a medium-energy cat who enjoys lots of stimulation and interactive playtime with throwing toys (any cat nip toys or balls) and wand chasers. He would do best in a home with forever humans who work from home or are around a lot, so he can get sufficient attention and cheerfully keep his people company. It is recommended that he is not in a home with kids unless they are older and able to understand cat cues. Take Off typically prefers to initiate pets, and can sometimes view hands and feet as toys. Having various fun, engaging playthings around the house will help distract and redirect him from this habit. He would likely not be a good fit with a shy or easily scared cat since he's a larger cat and likes to wrestle sometimes. Large, chill, friendly cats who like to play would be okay. (He’s never met a dog before.) This lovely boy had a vet stay 2 days after coming into care for a urinary blockage, so he's on prescription urinary food and his litter box needs to be monitored to ensure he's urinating normally. He's also taking gabapentin twice a day for some sensitivity on his back (capsules that are emptied out and mixed with the wet food). It took some time for Take Off to build trust with his foster and will likely require patience, love, and compassion with his forever humans to do the same. Coming from such a rough start, Take Off really needs love, and just has to gain the confidence and tools to channel his energy and realize that so many people can be good and kind. Peachy loves a good bowl of wet food, any teaser toy he can chase after (even more enticing if it makes noise), any location where the sun hits the spot, and anything that challenges him. Peachy is a curious and mischievous boy who will sprint after anything he deems suspicious -- especially if he thinks there will be food for him to feast on, of course! Peachy is vocal about what he wants. Opening a tin can, ripping open a bag of chips, opening a crisp can of soda? Peachy will be there to investigate! Maybe he can’t consume it, but his curiosity will get to him, and he will want a whiff of whatever it is that his human is focused on. This dude is excellent at establishing boundaries and will let you know when he isn’t elated with something. Sometimes he will nip (don’t tell him this) but his canines are chipped so it’s 100% effort and maybe 3% pain (it kind of tickles)! He can get silly with his moves but loves a good chin-scratch and will start his purr motor in appreciation. Peachy would do okay as an only cat but he would absolutely thrive with another cat buddy (maybe even a cat-friendly dog?). This guy is very sociable and loves to challenge his friends but is also extremely gentle and lovely to get along with! Peachy currently resides with 3 humans and 3 cats. He gets supervised outside enrichment time (recess) in a fenced backyard, which he has grown to love! Peachy isn’t a picky eater and will eat just about everything. And the ears on this cat? HIs airplane ears are ready for takeoff! Do you own a Stanley flask and are always aware of the importance of hydration? Peachy is an ambassador for hydration! This guy loves a good drink, and will provide plenty of kitty ASMR with this enthusiastic lapping sounds. He has a rare form of diabetes -- diabetes insipidus -- but as long as he has access to plenty of water and clean litter boxes, he can live a healthy, normal life. Nymphadora is an adorable tabby girl who is sweet and very affectionate once she gets to know you. She might start out shy but will warm up with encouragement. She loves to be scratched above her tail. Once she feels comfortable, this pretty lady loves to explore her environment and eat any lickable treats like Churus! Her favorite toys are made of soft rabbit fur, which she likes to carry in her mouth. Nymphadora is a medium-energy cat. She likes to play but also needs time to be calm and observe those around her. This little beauty is reserved and may need some coaxing and plenty of space to feel brave enough to seek affection from her humans. She will need to go home with her bonded brother Oberon, who will help her relax into the cozy indoor life. Oberon is a cute white-and-tabby boy who loves to play. Everything becomes a toy in his paws! His favorite toys are plastic and make clicking noises on hard floors. He also loves feather toys on strings. Oberon is high energy and requires lots of play and exercise. This athletic boy plays well by himself but also enjoys chasing after toys on strings with his humans. These two sweetie pies currently live in a house with two humans and nine other cats, including their siblings and momma cat. He's an athletic fellow who loves to climb and jump onto higher surfaces. He relishes the panoramic view and is a pro at keeping tabs on his humans from above. Vander is also very playful and can often be found rolling around in his cat tunnels, making his humans laugh and smile with his silly antics. If you can't find Vander up high in his cat tree, you’ll probably find him on a human’s lap, soaking up love and attention. Vander is FIV+, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! This pretty lady enjoys being picked up and will meow at you in greeting. Boots is just a total lover and brings such joy to whomever she is greeting. She’s like a little shadow that will always follow close to supervise your activities.She’s usually a pretty quiet girl except for when she’s hungry or wants to be scratched, then she uses her big mighty meow to declare to her humans the need for lovings. This girl especially loves the puree treats that come in the lickabe tubes - she’ll give you major brownie points if your home is stocked up on those. As a dignified elderly lady, Boots isn't big on playing with toys, but enjoys rubbing her face against the ones that are filled with catnip, and she has shown interest in those cat videos on YouTube that have fish swimming around. Unfortunately, this beautiful senior lady has stage 3 kidney disease, as well as the cat equivalent of breast cancer. This sweet lady will need loving care to keep her comfortable during her kitty hospice. Boots loves spending her time nestled under the blankets of her human's bed, basking in the sunshine on a comfy pillow, and sitting in your lap no matter what you're doing. Due to her medical needs, she is administered multiple medications daily and given subcutaneous fluids every other day. She takes her medications like a champ and is hardly phased by the poking. Boots does very well on her vet visits and has been told by multiple vets that they are always delighted to see her. While she's not a fan of being in her carrier, she makes trips in it easy and smooth Boots currently lives with four college girls and no other pets. She loves all of the attention and especially enjoys greeting any guests who stop by. Her ideal home is a kind, calm, relaxed environment, with humans who have no other pets and are willing to give her lots of attention. Raja is a low-energy kitty who enjoys the finer things in life, like lounging on her cat tree, basking in sunny spots, and keeping an eye on the resident squirrels through the window. She’s a playful fluffer at heart, entertaining herself with toys (and occasionally losing them under furniture). Raja can be quite the chatterbox and will let you know when she needs something, but her appreciation for your efforts is always clear. This queen prefers a calm, structured home where her boundaries are respected. She’s skittish around new people and large gatherings, so a quiet environment without young kids is necessary. She hasn't met any other cats or dogs yet, but may be open to them with the right introduction. While Raja isn’t a fan of being picked up, she loves gentle affection on her terms and enjoys exploring her space. Her ideal family will be patient, understanding, and willing to accommodate her routine. Raja has some special needs that require a little extra care—she has arthritis that is managed with monthly injections and occasional ear issues that are easily treated with provided medication. She gets nervous when left alone for long periods, so a family that’s around often or can provide consistent companionship is ideal. Trips to the vet stress her out, so she needs a dose of gabapentin before visits to keep her calm. Otherwise, her only other health consideration is that she has not been declawed while in our care.
