His whole being radiates a pure, wild sweetness, flitting through night woods with little melodious cries, on some cryptic errand. There is also an aura of doom and sadness about this trusting little creature. He has been abandoned many times over the centuries." -  William S. Burroughs author of The Cat Inside

Screech and Slater (Bonded Pair), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 4 months old
Screech (tuxedo) and Slater (black) are approximately 4-month-old, bonded brothers, seeking their forever home together.
Initially shy, these sweet boys have blossomed in foster care. Now, they greet their foster with purrs and eagerly come out for pets. They enjoy playing with catnip toys and string toys, napping together, and engaging in playful antics with each other. These adorable boys have a moderate energy level, playful and active during their cardio playtime sessions, but also content to cuddle and relax together. Screech and Slater currently live in a single-family home with two adults and have adapted well to the household environment. A patient and loving home with older children would be ideal. They do well with other cats and have accepted both resident and fellow foster cats in their current home. A calm environment will help them continue to build confidence. Screech and Slater were live-trapped in St. Paul and have made significant progress in trusting humans over the past month. They have perfect litter box habits and are food-motivated, which aids in building trust. They must be adopted together, as they are a bonded pair. If you’re looking for double the fun this spring, why not add this sweet, loving pair to your family? Interested in adopting or learning more about these cats? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.

Big Mac, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Big Mac is a 3-year-old affectionate companion looking for his forever home!
This handsome fellow wakes up starry-eyed and ready for breakfast (doubling as an alarm clock). He likes to stay nearby and supervise what I’m up to as I get ready for work. After he eats a meal, he usually gets the zoomies and races around my apartment. If I don’t have time to play, I toss a toy his way and he swats it around and entertains himself. He can fall asleep anywhere (if it’s near whomever is home) and he enjoys dark spaces such as in a closet or under a blanket. An avid naturalist, this guy enjoys watching the birds outside. He is always quick to greet me by the door when I come home. Big Mac loves to play soccer! Whether it's an aluminum foil ball or a bouncy ball, he loves to run around and chase. He also likes to kick around longer toys like a paper towel roll and string. Big Mac prefers to cuddle on his own terms. He doesn’t necessarily enjoy being held and/or picked up but sometimes wants to sleep as close as possible on your chest or even on your head. He gives a lot of kisses and can occasionally lick. He will scold when he feels shorted on attention, especially first thing after I come home. This guy is high energy!! His spurts are always followed by long naps but when his pupils get big, he’s ready to play. He doesn’t climb or jump on top of counters very frequently but instead, jumps straight into the air when he’s excited. He likes to play with me, sometimes chasing after my foot if I'm walking around or playfully nipping my arm. When Big Mac has the zoomies, he will run around at full speed like a bullet. He is super easy to play with, but he will require your attention if he gets bored or under-stimulated. He eats well and is good at staying hydrated. This cute quirky guy loves to play in the (dry) bathtub where he bats at the curtains or chases his tail. I live in a small two-bedroom apartment with a large cozy couch that is perfect for hanging out with Big Mac; I also let him sleep with me on my bed (if he isn’t too hyper). Sometimes he will sleep at my feet but at other times, he will sleep on the pillow next to me. I have a roommate, and Big Mac is friendly and brave with new people. This lovely boy needs room to roam and sprint around. He doesn’t like to be alone, so a work-from-home situation would suit him perfectly. Not sure if he will do well with another cat or get jealous, but he would be good with older children and prefer a family who is around frequently to give him attention. He loves to look out the window, so some well-placed windowsills and/or cat perches would be a plus. Big Mac doesn’t like his nails being cut but will squirm away rather than fight or act aggressively in any way. I've never seen him hiss and he only swats at me when he thinks we're playing. He is quite a clingy guy who insists on even joining me in the bathroom, but he is a ball of love who adds so much joy and cuddles! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Tuna, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Tuna is a 3-year-old, charming cuddlebug looking for his forever home! Tuna is a gentle soul who’s still learning how to trust humans after spending his early life as a stray.
Although he may take time to warm up, he’s never aggressive—just shy and observant. He feels most at ease around other cats and adjusts to feline friends quickly, making him a great fit for a home with other confident, friendly cats. His days are simple: he enjoys a good breakfast, explores the house at his own pace, and plays with his kitty companions when the mood strikes. Tuna has a calm, low-key energy—he’s not overly playful with toys, but he enjoys gentle interactions and playing with other cats when he feels comfortable. He’s still adjusting to life indoors, so he spends a lot of time quietly observing and taking things at his own pace. Tuna currently lives in a cozy one-bedroom apartment with his foster mom and her resident cat, who has been helping him come out of his shell. Tuna would thrive in a calm, patient home with at least one other friendly cat to help him feel safe and settled. He’s still building trust with people, so he needs s who will give him the time and space to come out of his shell on his own terms. He hasn’t met children before, so a quieter household would be the best match for him right now. One of the first things you’ll notice about Tuna is his unique look—he has no tail, which only adds to his quirky charm! He’s perfectly healthy and gets around just fine, but his tailless silhouette makes him stand out in the cutest way. Tuna might hiss at first as he gets used to new people or environments—it’s just his way of saying he needs a little space. Once he feels safe, he’s incredibly sweet and enjoys being petted (and even the occasional belly rub!). He’s not a fan of being picked up, but he shows affection in his own gentle, quiet way. If you’re ready for a loving companion who will return your kindness and compassion with gratitude for the cozy indoor life, please consider adding this handsome house panther to your family. Tuna would love to meet you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. Link, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 5 years old
Link is a 5-year-old, lovable, chatty purr machine who is looking for his forever home!
This handsome fellow is an early riser who thinks his breakfast should magically appear right away. Of course, after his breakfast, he must give himself a bath. Then he wants to play and loves jumping up to get his felt toy on a pole and sometimes decides that you need to exercise too by taking off with it. Then it’s time to be entertained by watching birds and squirrels. Finally, after following you around to supervise that you are doing all of your daily activities correctly, it’s time for a nap. Link either climbs up on your lap (and stays there for a long time) or jumps on the bed to take a nap, where he wants to crawl under the blankets for the ultimate comfortable sleep experience. This furry boy can be both high energy and a couch potato, depending on his mood. Sometimes he gets the zoomies and makes his cardio rounds all over the house. Link currently lives with his two foster humans in an apartment. This guy’s ideal home would be to have at least 1 person home with him most of the time, as he doesn’t like to be left alone for too long. He needs to be able to sleep on the bed with his people. He loves to be brushed. He also likes to rub his fur on his brush, so we often leave it on the floor for him. He can’t be around boy cats as it stresses him out. (Dogs, select female cats, and gentle older kids over 12 are all okay.) He would probably like to have another calm female cat around to be his special friend. Link is a homebody who does not like car rides at all (except for necessary vet visits)—so no extended car journeys to the cabin for this guy! He is a social eater, so he needs someone to sit with him while he eats (can you blame him?). He will always need his medicine and special vet food for his chronic constipation, to help him feel his best. Alas, in his pre-foster life, Link was declawed, so he needs to be an indoor-only cat. Link is a big love bug! He is a talking purr machine! He is an extraordinary cat who is looking for an extraordinary family to give all the love he wants and needs. He loves to follow you everywhere, cuddle up in your lap, and enjoy all the attention you can give him. He has the cutest snores. He is a little spoiled, but who wouldn’t want that? If you’re ready for a very cozy spring and summer ahead, why not add Link to your family? ---- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Charlie, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years old
Charlie is a sweet, independent, 2-year-old cat looking for his forever home! Charlie is a cute, laid-back orange boy who loves his sleep time and prefers doing his own thing.
His day typically revolves around lounging by the window, meowing occasionally to express his thoughts, and enjoying some quiet moments of attention when he feels like it. While he’s not big on cuddling, but he’ll sit nearby and accept some pets on his own terms. He enjoys chatting with a few meows here and there and absolutely loves sitting by the window for some solo bird-watching time. He’s a low-key companion who appreciates space and calm vibes. While he's pretty low-maintenance and enjoys a calm, peaceful environment, every now and then, he gets a burst of energy and zooms around the room—just a little reminder that he’s still got some spunk! Then, he’s back to his chill, relaxed self. Charlie currently lives in an apartment with three adults. The environment is calm and relaxed, and he enjoys having a bit of space to himself while still being part of the household. He’s used to the daily routines and enjoys the quiet companionship of his humans. Charlie can be a bit of a discerning eater, so prospective adopters should be aware that he may take some time to adjust to new foods. Charlie’s ideal home would be a calm and quiet environment with minimal hustle and bustle. He would do best in a home where he can have his own space to lounge and relax but still be around people he’s comfortable with. (He hasn’t met any other animals or children yet.) A household with relaxed humans who are around frequently, with a laid-back atmosphere and less emphasis on constant interaction would be perfect for him. If you’re looking for the perfect Zen companion to help you enjoy the spring, Charlie would love to watch some birds with you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Dennis, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1-2 years old
Dennis is the best boy, a 1-2-year-old energetic ginger guy looking for a place to call home. If there's one word to describe Dennis, it's personality! He spends most of his day playing with his foster siblings, and does a fantastic butt wiggle before pouncing.
When he's not play wrestling, he's bird-watching, running as fast as he can across the apartment, and being the cutest chatterbox. He enjoys pets but is not a lap cat and only tolerates being held for a short while. Dennis is also a great sunbather, I think he knows how pretty it is when the light is bouncing off his orange striped fur. He has very high energy and needs to be in an environment where he can play for long amounts of time. He does best with a combination of playing with other cats and toys. In particular, he gravitates towards toys that are attached to a rod and small balls he can chase. He is currently living in a two-bedroom apartment with a human and two foster siblings. Dennis told me that he would like a home that has cat friends he could play with, and enough room for him to see how fast he can run. Being able to see birds and other critters would be a huge plus. He also loves to hang out in the highest point in the room, so it is important for him to have vertical and horizontal space. He needs a human who is as fun loving as he is, who will be able to play with him and give pets. He is an exceptionally sweet little boy. He does get overstimulated at times but is very good at letting you know through his body movements. He's also fantastic at not using his claws on people. Even though he's not the cuddliest cat, he shows affection by meowing, following you around, and head-butting. This adorable orange boy is so ready to add his unique energy and friendly personality to a loving home, with caring forever humans and some feline friends. If this sounds great to you, Dennis would love to join your family! ---- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Rusty, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 years old
Rusty is an affectionate 1-year-old orange kitty looking for a lap to call home! Rusty is all LOVE, in fact, his foster affectionately nicknamed him “Love Bug” because she’s never met a more affectionate and gentle cat.
He loves people and wants to be with his humans as much as possible. He drops onto his back the second his humans walk into the room, gently hugging their foot in request of scratches. His humans work from home, and Rusty alternates between “helping” at work by chasing and watching the cursor, and sleeping on his human's lap. He loves to play with wand toys, but he’s also good at entertaining himself. His foster humans often find him throwing little toys around for himself, chasing and then pouncing on them. Rusty grew up in a shelter before entering foster care with Pet Haven a couple weeks ago, so basic things like windows are new to him. He’s adjusted quickly and is really loving learning to birdwatch. Rusty is just the sweetest and silliest kitty. While he loves to play, he’s also an excellent napper - the perfect mix of energy and calm. His purr machine is always going and he makes the cutest little noises as he goes about his day and plays. Rusty is currently living in a townhome with his foster, one other cat and one dog. He’s still separated in his own room as he adjusts to not only the new space, but two new animals. Rusty’s ideal home would be with at least one person who is home a lot of the time, as he’s so social and loving. If he could spend all 24 hours of his day with his humans, he would be one happy cat! If everyone in the home works outside of the home, he would potentially thrive with a cat buddy who can keep him company. He definitely wouldn’t be the cat for someone who travels a lot or works long hours. He would likely do great in a family as well as he loves all the attention he can get. More humans = more hands = more pets = HAPPY RUSTY! Overall, Rusty is an incredible kitty who is filled with the most gentle, loving and affectionate spirit. He brings so much joy to everyone who meets him, and whoever gets lucky enough to add this boy to their home is going to hit the kitty jackpot. Apply below to meet this amazing buddy for yourself! Celeste and Ruby (Bonded Pair), Female
Ragdoll and Siamese, 3 and 1 years old
Meet Celeste and Ruby! Ruby is 1-year-old and is often called "Cuddles” thanks to her snuggly personality. Celeste is 3-years-old and is the sassier (in the best way) of the two! These bonded friends are looking for their forever home together. These beautiful girls have tortie point (Celeste) and flame point coloring, (Ruby) with possibly a touch of Ragdoll in the mix.
Celeste is super cuddly and loves chin scratches and sitting on her foster’s lap—whether here is room or not! At night, Celeste likes to “hunt” her toys. She puts them all together next to her foster mom. It’s not unusual to find a toy in bed! Celeste likes to sleep under the covers so be prepared for lots of lump sightings. Ruby prefers to get her exercise by running at night. She likes her toys, but she doesn’t care to waste her time hunting for them. She is the biggest cuddler who will communicate with the tiniest meow. They just discovered the patio, so like they to sit out there and keep an eye on things. They would thrive in a home with lots of windows, and/or a fully enclosed outdoor catio or screen porch. Both girls are pretty laid back. They will play at night; Ruby sometimes gets the zoomies. These two beauties currently live in a quiet condo with their foster mom. They haven’t met a dog yet but would be fine with gentle children 12 and over (no other cats, please). They came in to foster care extremely reserved, and though they are well adjusted, they still get a bit nervous around strangers. They will need someone who is patient and willing to give them space and some extra time to settle in. Both girls are so full of love and want to be next to their human as much as possible. They are also very well behaved—not interested in scratching on the furniture or jumping on things. All they want is to give and receive love in a calm, welcoming home with forever humans who are around a lot. They will be so happy with people who will let them open up at their own pace, while giving them plenty of affection along the way. If this sounds like you, please consider adding the stunning Celeste and Ruby to your family! Interested in adopting or learning more about these cats? Boq and Munchkin (Bonded Pair), Male and Female
Domestic Shorthair, 3 months old
Boq and Munchkin are 3-month-old kitten siblings looking for their forever home together! If you’re wondering who’s who, Boq is the adorably handsome and spunky orange tabby, and Munchkin is the silky grey love bug. Together they are the ultimate kitten duo!
First, Boq! Boq is a typical orange kitten stuffed full with all of the mischievous fun you could imagine! He is funny, active and loving, too. He likes to climb, run and wrestle with his kitten siblings. He also enjoys nap time, often found cuddling and snuggling up for a TV night with his human family. He purrs often and enjoys being right smack dab in the center of attention. He was the runt of his litter and is still considered a mama’s boy, always looking for a companion, feline or human. Next, the precious Munchkin! Munchkin can be described as a precious observer who prefers to let her brother Boq take the lead and lead the charge as the center of attention. While more timid at first, once she feels safe and secure, her playful demeanor really comes out. She is friendly, loving and sometimes even adventurous. She likes to sit on laps, purr and watch TV with her family. She loves meal times, play times and all of the fun moments in between. Boq and Munchkin have the energy of typical kittens, enjoying being active and silly, but also enjoying the good ol’ art of loafing and relaxing. Munchkin especially enjoys being silly and active when her brother is near her. Boq is often the first kitten in bed each night, surely exhausted from his long days soaking up all the attention he can find. Boq and Munchkin currently live in a busy home with their mama cat, three feline siblings, several household cats and a family of three humans! They would do well in a house with other cats and/or kids. They haven't yet met a dog. They enjoy having lots of space to romp around and play in, as well as ample windows to look out of and sunshiny spots to lounge in. The ideal home for this precious sibling duo would be filled with lots of love, humans who have lots of time for snuggles and play, and a spacious home with lots of space to run and climb! Boq and Munchkin are not just siblings, but are the best of friends and will need to be adopted as the bonded pair that they are! So, if you’re looking for some “Wicked” kitten cuteness look no further! This duo will leave you feeling ever so “Popular” with their affectionate demeanor. Frankie, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 12 years old
Frankie is a 12.5-year-old cuddly old man looking for his forever home!! This small, sweet guy loves attention and doesn’t like being alone very often; in fact, he’ll follow you around the house looking for pets! When you sit down, he’ll be right there to sit on your lap and make biscuits, his favorite activity.
Frankie is a calm guy who doesn’t run around too much—he'd rather focus on snuggling! Although he’s relatively quiet, he isn’t shy about meowing for attention when he sees you, his beloved person. He demands that you use both hands for extra-thorough petting! Frankie, sadly, was fully declawed in his previous life, but he gets around great! He still likes to pretend-scratch things, make biscuits, and he’ll try to grab onto you with his paws for attention (his signature move). He takes medication to keep the pain from declawing at bay. This lovely boy also has hyperthyroidism, so he requires a topical medication and a steroid to keep him happy and healthy which is no big deal! This handsome fellow currently lives with his foster mom and her roommate in an apartment. Frankie likes to hang out in small spaces when you aren’t home but otherwise isn’t picky; as long as he has someone to be with and snuggle up to, he’s happy. He’s unknown with other cats, dogs, or children, but he is devoted to his humans and would do best in a home with people who work from home or are around a lot to spend lots of time with him. Are you ready to help a loving senior guy give you lots of affection while he lives out his golden years? If so, please consider adding the charming Frankie to your family. ----- Frankie still has a couple vaccinations he needs to receive. Rick, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 4 years old
Rick is a 4-year-old, playful cat looking for his forever home! Rick is a reserved little guy who likes his alone time and space. However, when he’s in the mood, expect frequent meows for attention.
Rick LOVES to play and often prefers playing over treats or pets! His favorite toys are dangle toys and balls. This sleek panther also appreciates a good window view where he can keep an eye on the neighborhood. Although he can be frequently spotted sleeping, when awake Rick has lots of energy. He will need a home that is willing to sit and play with him during his happy cardio play workouts. Rick currently lives in a quiet apartment with 2 people and another cat. Rick will need a quiet, slow-paced home in order to thrive. A house with no children or active animals would suit him best, as loud noises and sudden movements causes him to panic a bit. Experience with a quiet, cautious cat would be appreciated, as Rick needs loving, patient humans who are willing to let him progress at his own pace. Overall, this handsome fellow is lovely but still a bit cautious. He needs a quiet home with little activity. Andy, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 5 years old
Andy is a 5-year-old sweetie looking for a furever home that is purrfect for him, where he can be treated like the prince he is!
This handsome fellow was in a foster home for two years and considered feral, but when he moved to a new foster home he blossomed and is now a very friendly orange boy who loves attention! Andy is so ready for the cozy indoor life, but he is still very reserved and needs a calm, patient home who can let him gain trust and confidence. This sweet guy currently lives is in a foster kitty two-bedroom area with a shy adult cat and 4 shy kittens who look up to him. He has had time to get the full run of the house to explore. Andy’s ideal home would be a quiet, loving place with compassionate forever humans who can help him feel comfortable on his own time, while also giving him the affection he deserves. He would love a relaxed cat friend or two to hang out with him. Older, cat-savvy kids are preferred, as younger children may overwhelm him. Nothing beats the sweet love of a faithful orange cat. If you’re ready to help this lovely boy ease into his new life of comfort and care, Andy would be so happy to meet you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Pookie (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Pookie is a 3-year-old loving adult male cat looking for his forever home! This sweet boy with the perfectly outlined nose is very content to lounge around and do nothing but prefers to cuddle up close to his person and have you pet him.
His favorite thing to play with is his Cat Nip ball. Pookie may take a little time to gain confidence and feel safe in his forever home, but once he does he is an aboslute loveball of delight. This handsome fellow's adjustment period took about 3 weeks. He does like to have a place to hide —under a bed, behind a desk, or in a closet. But who can really blame him, no one likes to nap in the bright light! In the beginning we used a cat brush to reach out to him and pet him and that is what motivated him to move closer and closer until eventually he allowed for pets. Now comfortable, he comes when called, he often seeks affection and meows for attention. He has also started to show excitement about knowing he is going to be able to snuggle and receive. He jumps up on the bed and rolls around making eye contact, as if asking us to come give him affection. Pookie currently lives with 2 adults in a house and he loves to give and receive attention from either person. He is also living in a home with a dog, but the animals have been kept separated by a gate, but can hear and see each other. He has not felt comfortable enough yet to explore the area that the dog is in. He has spent some time with other cats and prefers his own space but warmed up to having the other cats around. Pookie's ideal forever home would be calm and peaceful and would likely feel best being the only pet in the house. This cute guy would also love to live with someone who works from home or is around a lot, and who would enjoy talking to him, holding him, and petting him often. Pookie is very smart—he especially knows when a treat is being offered. He is so ready to leave his rough days behind and enjoy the cozy, loving indoor life in a loving, compassionate home. Could that be with you? Pookie is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. Luna and Lex (Bonded Pair), Female and Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 months
Lex and Luna are a sweet, curious and fun loving kitten duo looking for their fur-ever home together!
Luna is a busy girl who spends her day playing with her siblings, being in the middle of the action, and curling up for a nap in her foster mom’s lap. Lex is a happy tuxedo guy who also spends his day playing with his siblings, exploring his house, and napping on one of his favorite people. Lex and Luna love to run and play with anyone who is willing. They love to snuggle in for a quick nap before getting back to the fun. This pretty duo live with their mom and siblings (all formally dressed tuxedos just like them!) in a home with some resident adult cats and a big fluffy dog. They are friends to all and aren't afraid of anything! Luna and Lex’s ideal home is with humans who are around a lot, so they can show off their big personalities and receive lots of scratches and affection. Like all kittens, they are high energy, playing hard and sleeping harder. They also like plenty of room to run, play, and climb onto high perches. If you enjoy kitten shenanigans and are ready for lots of fun this spring, please consider adding Lex and Luna to your family! --- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Ryker and Muffin (Bonded Pair), Male and Female
Domestic Medium Hair, 1.5 years old
Ryker and Muffin are a sweet, gorgeous one-year old pair of friends looking for a loving, patient forever home to call their own.
Ryker is a floofy floofball with floofy tufts of hair adorably springing from behind his ears and huge gorgeous amber eyes that take in everything. He loves observing the world from his high cat tree perches and has just recently discovered the pleasure of accepting scritches and caresses. Muffin has the cutest little forever kitten face with crystal blue eyes and a charming spray of gray spatter over his face and tail. He loves churros and is open to having his nose booped but is still wary of the big two-legged creatures roaming around and disturbing the peace. Muffin is curious and playful and especially fond of tunnels and ball track toys. This sweet pair has a medium level of energy. They play and explore but are mostly calm and content to entertain themselves. They love looking out windows and lounging in high perches. Because they come from a hoarding situation, they will require a quiet, predictable home with cat-savvy people experienced with under-socialized cats. No kids under fourteen, please. Ryker and Muffin have made great strides but are just at the beginning of blossoming into their best and bravest selves and will need a forever family that is patient, patient, patient and unconditionally loving to help them continue gaining confidence and trust. They would get along with other respectful cats, and, although they haven't met any dogs, they would likely do fine with cat-savvy, respectful canine siblings. Slow introductions would of course be essential. If you’d like to give these sweet best friends the cozy, loving, calm life they so richly deserve, please consider adding Ryker and Muffin to your home and your heart. Take Off, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Take Off is a handsome 3-year-old dude looking to cruise into his forever home! He's a pro at giving you looks full of attitude but is truly a playful lovebug.
This charming fellow is playful and likes to hang around near or cuddle with his foster. He enjoys playing in the cat tunnel, ball track toys, kicker toys, wand chasers, and of course catnip. He tends to follow the foster around and shortly after initiating pets he will plop down and show his belly. He likes a bit of belly rubs and really seems to like chin scratches. His foster works from home and he enjoys relaxing in the spot normally occupied by a keyboard so he can partially rest on the foster's arm and get pets. He can be a purring machine and enjoys lap cuddles sometimes. He'll also cross his front paws when resting like a distinguished gentleman. Take Off is a medium-energy cat who enjoys lots of stimulation and interactive playtime with throwing toys (any cat nip toys or balls) and wand chasers. He would do best in a home with forever humans who work from home or are around a lot, so he can get sufficient attention and cheerfully keep his people company. It is recommended that he is not in a home with kids unless they are older and able to understand cat cues. Take Off typically prefers to initiate pets, and can sometimes view hands and feet as toys. Having various fun, engaging playthings around the house will help distract and redirect him from this habit. He would likely not be a good fit with a shy or easily scared cat since he's a larger cat and likes to wrestle sometimes. Large, chill, friendly cats who like to play would be okay. (He’s never met a dog before.) This lovely boy had a vet stay 2 days after coming into care for a urinary blockage, so he's on prescription urinary food and his litter box needs to be monitored to ensure he's urinating normally. He's also taking gabapentin twice a day for some sensitivity on his back (capsules that are emptied out and mixed with the wet food). It took some time for Take Off to build trust with his foster and will likely require patience, love, and compassion with his forever humans to do the same. Coming from such a rough start, Take Off really needs love, and just has to gain the confidence and tools to channel his energy and realize that so many people can be good and kind. If you’re ready to launch into an adventure of kindness, growth, and compassion, please consider adding Take Off to your family. ----- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Domestic Shorthair, 7 and 8 months old
Stevie (7-months-old) and Caroline (8-months-old) are sweet and playful bonded girls looking for their forever home. These beautiful girls are very bonded. They love to snuggle with each other and play. They also enjoy watching what's going on outside and keeping an eye on those pesky birdies!
Stevie loves to snuggle with her person in bed and has quite the purr machine in her chest! She also loves to play cell phone games with you and will keep you company while watching TV. Caroline is still a bit skittish. She's warming up to treats and loves to follow her human around at a distance. She'll accept pets and touches and treats and wants to see what you're doing, but on her terms. She may never become a full-blown snuggler, but she is getting bolder and does enjoy butt scritches! These two ladies are very energetic and run and play with each other frequently. Stevie and Caroline currently live in a townhome with 1 human, 3 other cats, and there was a dog in the house until recently. Arfur, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 12 years old
Arfur/Arthur (King Arthur) is a sweet 12-year-old man, who is so ready to find his forever home! This handsome stripey dude can be reserved when you first meet him but is an absolute cuddle unit—he will happily invade your personal space once he opens up a little and feels relaxed.
He can be moody occasionally, but overall, this guy loves attention. He spends most of his time napping but will come out for food and pets. Arfur doesn't play very often but he will follow you around, as he’s quite curious. When the mood strikes him, he will engage with a wand toy. It's likely that as he becomes more comfortable in his new home, he will increase his playtime every day. This noble king currently lives in one-bedroom apartment with his foster human. His ideal home would be in a house or townhome with more room to walk around, and with lots of windows for him to perch on and survey his domain. He needs someone who works from home or is around a lot to help him gain confidence and receive all the pets he deserves. Arfur prefers to be the only animal in the home, but would do well with gentle, cat-savvy older kids (12+). This guy has a unique style of using the litterbox (standing up meerkat-style), so he will need a box with high walls. His forever family should also be committed to feeding him his urinary care diet, so he can live his best healthy life. Arfur takes about a week or two to feel comfortable with new people. At first, he will be very reserved (but not hostile) upon first interactions. Once he trusts someone, he is a love bug. He also is very communicative and vocal in letting you know exactly when he wants/ doesn't want attention—the best kind of drama king! Arfur was also an offensive tackle in his previous life, so be forewarned: he’s 17 pounds of love and muscle. When he chills on your chest, which he really enjoys, it’s very sweet but know that you won’t need a weighted blanket! This noble King of the Round Table is so ready to live his golden years in peace and comfort. If you’d like an audience with the king, Arfur is ready to meet you! Nacho, Male
Domestic Longhair, 12 years old
Nacho is a 12-year-old, extremely sweet fluff ball looking for his forever home! This beautiful long-haired gentleman still loves to play and will rub up against you or headbutt you whenever he wants rubs. He loves when you call his name and will come running over to say hi.
Nacho is very chill and always down for a nap by himself or some playtime with a mouse toy. His future humans should make sure to brush his lustrous coat regularly, so he can continue to be his dapper self. This guy is on the mellow side since he's a bit older, but his affection is ageless! He currently lives in an apartment, where he enjoys the simple life. Nacho loves a quiet home with just one or two people. He doesn't like kids, dogs or other cats, as he prefers to soak up all of the attention for himself. He just wants to lay in bed, look out the window or have some play time and get rubs from his beloved forever people. Peachy (Special Needs), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 year old
Peachy is a perfectly quirky, little 2-year-old orange cat who will keep you on your toes, currently seeking his forever home!
This adorable boy isn’t a lap cat but does enjoy being held and receiving pets on his little head. Peachy can be independent and aloof sometimes because he’s staring into space (orange cat brain cell loading, maybe?) but he loves to play and with the slight sound of a bell, you will find Peachy there! He never misses out on an opportunity to play or eat. He is fairly vocal about what he wants, and this guy knows what he wants! Have you heard of a cat who opens doors? Yep, cats are persistent and smart—you shouldn’t underestimate them. Peachy has indeed learned to open doors during his time at his foster home—who needs opposable thumbs, right? The resident cat who’s been there for three years doesn’t even know how Peachy does it! Peachy currently lives with 3 humans and 3 cats. This guy would absolutely thrive in an environment where he is the only cat (if his people are around frequently) or with other cat friends to pal around with; he is kind and lovely to get along with. One thing to note in his resume: his unique door-opening ability means that if the dry cat food is kept behind that door, Peachy will come to the rescue and grant every cat’s wishes for a feast! His forever family should plan accordingly. Aside from opening doors, Peachy loves to sunbathe in the warmest spot, chirp when you bother him in his sleep, and play with cardboard boxes. Peachy has a rare form of diabetes—diabetes insipidus—but as long as he has access to plenty of water and litter boxes, he can live a healthy, normal life. If anything, Peachy is an ambassador for proper hydration! If you have any questions or concerns about this medical issue, please reach out to Pet Haven and we’ll be able to share more while helping you navigate this with knowledge and compassion. Spring and summer are just around the corner, and what says summer more than a sweet and lovely Peach(y)! Consider adding this cutie-pie to your family. Squeaks (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 year old
Meet Squeaks – Your Future Lap Cat Extraordinaire! Squeaks is a handsome 2-year-old brown-black tabby with a heart as soft as his furry cheeks, looking for his forever home.
Though he may be a little reserved at first, once he knows he’s safe, this guy transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug. This sweet boy loves gentle pets, head scratches, and will happily curl up on your lap, purring himself into a cozy nap. While Squeaks is still figuring out the whole ""toy"" thing, he enjoys watching his foster siblings play and occasionally bats at a toy himself. With time (and a little catnip encouragement), he’ll surely find his playful side! He’s a kind and curious companion to other cats, choosing to run and hide rather than stir up any trouble if another kitty isn’t as friendly. Along with figuring out toys, he's hasn't figured out what a meow sounds like...hence his name, Squeaks! Squeaks is also the proud owner of what his foster mom calls *Resting Purr Face*—his expression may say “mildly annoyed,” but his deep, steady purring tells the real story. Squeaks has a relaxed energy level that says, ""let's chill and binge Bob's Burgers all day."" This mellow dude currently lives with a 10- and 12-year-old that he prefers to snuggle with at bedtime, along with two resident cats about his age. During the day, his foster mom’s lap is his favorite place to relax. Squeaks is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj. Squeaks prefers a calm environment and can be a bit jumpy around loud noises, so he appreciates having a small, comfy hideaway—like under a bed—where he can retreat when he needs a moment. His favorite pastimes include watching birds from the window and lounging in his foster mom’s catio, where he can spy on the squirrels in a safe and secure space. Squeaks would thrive in a home with a fellow chill, friendly resident cat (he hasn’t met a dog yet) and loving forever people (gentle older kids are okay), ready to spend lots of time with him—showering him with all the love, pets, and a warm lap to call his own. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who just needs a little time to warm up, Squeaks might be your perfect match! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Audi is a 1 year old, curious, active and loving kitty looking for his forever home! This sleek panther with the distinctive white patch on his chest loves his human foster mom and frequently follows her around. He enjoys getting lots of love, pets, and being brushed so his beautiful coat shines ever more.
This guy knows what he wants, and that’s one-on-one closeness with his person. He currently lives with 2 adult humans, and is utterly obsessed with them both. Audi loves snuggling with them and spending quality time with them. He is happy to follow them around everywhere like a little shadow, observing what they do and engaging with the activity. He is vocal with his wants and communicates with loving meows when you pet him. Audi is also super energetic and playful and loves his string toys and chasing little fluff ball toys. Because Audi loves his humans and does not like to share their attention, he needs to be in a home without other animals. Nymphadora and Oberon (Bonded Pair), Female and Male
Domestic Shorthair and Longhair, 6 months old
Oberon and Nymphadora are a 6-month old kitten duo looking for their forever home together. Nymphadora is shy and loving and Oberon is playful.
Nymphadora is an adorable tabby girl who is sweet and very affectionate once she gets to know you. She might start out shy but will warm up with encouragement. She loves to be scratched above her tail. Once she feels comfortable, this pretty lady loves to explore her environment and eat any lickable treats like Churus! Her favorite toys are made of soft rabbit fur, which she likes to carry in her mouth. Nymphadora is a medium-energy cat. She likes to play but also needs time to be calm and observe those around her. This little beauty is reserved and may need some coaxing and plenty of space to feel brave enough to seek affection from her humans. She will need to go home with her bonded brother Oberon, who will help her relax into the cozy indoor life. Oberon is a cute white-and-tabby boy who loves to play. Everything becomes a toy in his paws! His favorite toys are plastic and make clicking noises on hard floors. He also loves feather toys on strings. Oberon is high energy and requires lots of play and exercise. This athletic boy plays well by himself but also enjoys chasing after toys on strings with his humans. These two sweetie pies currently live in a house with two humans and nine other cats, including their siblings and momma cat. Because Nymphadora is still reserved, she would do best in a quiet home with lots of places to hide, where she can get accustomed to her new environment. She would prefer patient owners who will respect her space while giving her lots of quiet affection. Oberon would also appreciate having owners who enjoy playing with him daily, and where there is perhaps another cat or two (besides Nymphadora) for him to wrestle with. He is also very affectionate and loves to cuddle with other cats and humans on the bed at night. They get along well with other cats and gentle, older children; they haven’t met any dogs yet. If you’d like to add double the fun to your home, please consider adding Nymphadora and Oberon to your family. ------- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Vander (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Vander is a 3-year-old, loving and playful cat looking for his forever home! Vander enjoys spending time in his cat tree, sunbathing, and napping.
He's an athletic fellow who loves to climb and jump onto higher surfaces. He relishes the panoramic view and is a pro at keeping tabs on his humans from above. Vander is also very playful and can often be found rolling around in his cat tunnels, making his humans laugh and smile with his silly antics. If you can't find Vander up high in his cat tree, you’ll probably find him on a human’s lap, soaking up love and attention. Vander is FIV+, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj. Vander may have flare ups of colitis from time to time, but, the best way to keep this at bay is to keep him on the prescription diet he's on now.  If you are looking for a sweet, affectionate cat to add to you home then consider Vander!

Jolly Tinseltoes, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year
Jolly is a 1 year old sweet kitty looking for her forever home! This sweet girl lived outside for a couple months, therefore she has a bit of a wild side and is more independent and reserved. Don't take that to mean that she doesn't like people, because that couldn't be further from the truth.
She likes being around her humans, hanging out in the same space, and playing with them; she also loves to be petted! However, she does not enjoy being picked up, and is not a cuddly cat that enjoys spending time on lots of laps. She prefers for her paws to be on the ground. She comes up to say hello and ask for pets in her own time. She will need ample time and patience to adjust to a new home. Jolly's favorite hobby is going out on the deck to smell the fresh air, watch the birds and bunnies, and catch some bugs! She really enjoys lounging in the sun in her favorite chair out there! She also absolutely loves the other cats in the house and frequently seeks them out to hang out with them and to ask for kisses. Jolly's daily routine includes eating 3 meals a day, getting some exercise, playing with her kitty friends, and lounging in the sun. She could stand to lose a small bit of weight, therefore it would be ideal that she be fed scheduled meals and regular exercise. She likes to steal food from her friends whenever she gets a chance. This sweet lady currently lives in a house with 3 adult humans and 4 cats. She hasn't met a dog, but may do okay with a calm and respectful cat savvy doggo. She hasn't met any children, but because she prefers to be handled on her own terms, would probably prefer a home with older kids, if any. Jolly's ideal home would be a quiet and stable home with no young children. Because of the confidence and companionship that her cat friends provide her, she will either need to go to a home with existing cats, or be adopted with at least one other cat. This lovely lady would also love to be able to go out on an enclosed porch or patio for some safe outdoor time, where she can watch the birds and bugs!

Boots (Hospice), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 10 years
Boots is a super sweet, nearly 10-year-old cat looking for a human (or couple) to love and spend her remaining days with. She is an affectionate sweetheart who will lie down right by your head and knead your chest and neck. (She is always happiest being on or her human and enjoys snuggling under blankets.)
She is fine with being at the vet but is not a fan of the carrier. Occasionally, Boots will have a spicy moment if you do something she doesn’t like, and will bat or gently nip in protest, but she will never hurt anyone. This beautiful senior lady has stage 3 kidney disease, as well as the cat equivalent of breast cancer. Therefore, she is considered a hospice kitty. This sweet lady will need loving care to keep her comfortable during her kitty hospice. Boots spends a significant portion of the day sleeping under a blanket. She will come out periodically as she wants to, to get love from a human. She is free-fed and gets fresh wet food (unlimited, with Miralax added) 4 times a day. Every other day, she gets a liquid med (Prednisolone) and subcutaneous fluids every other day. Boots currently lives in a foster home with a couple and one other cat. Her ideal home is a kind, calm, relaxed environment, with humans with no other animals or children, who can give her as much love as possible before she crosses the rainbow bridge. This sweet lady deserves to live out her days surrounded by attention, care, and kindness. Can you gently walk beside her on her journey?

Scrabble, Female
Domestic Longhair, 4 year old
Scrabble is sassy 4-year-old, long-haired lady looking for her forever home. She is a retired mama who is done raising her kittens and is ready for the easy life with plenty of toys and treats!
Scrabble is fearless and outgoing from the first time she meets you. She isn’t much of a cuddler but likes to be near people. This stripey gal often likes to sit on the couch or the floor near you while you watch TV, but she’s not typically going to get in your lap (unless you have a Churu). She goes nuts for almost any kind of toy but particularly loves balls or springs to bat around on the ground. She is super happy to entertain herself with her toys or birdwatching out the window; she also loves giving herself a manicure by scratching, so it’s a good idea to have a couple of scratching posts or pads for her. Scrabble can be a bit mouthy when she is in the middle of playing, similar to the way kittens can be a bit nippy—it's not malicious and does not hurt. Scrabble loves food both wet and dry; she might benefit from something like an automatic or timed feeder, so she doesn’t bug her humans too much when she is hungry. Besides mealtime, she is a very tidy kitty and takes very good care of her long soft fur; her forever humans will need to brush her regularly to help her keep her lovely coat in tip-top shape. Scrabble uses the litter box very well. Scrabble truly enjoys being in the mix of household activities. She is fairly high energy for an adult cat and is always happy to be playing. Her other main priority is making sure she gets her breakfast and dinner on time! Scrabble lives with two adults in a quiet home with several other older cats. Her high energy can be off-putting to the other cats (she loves playing amped up games of chase, and they aren’t always into it), so she primarily lives separately from them in her foster home. Scrabble does not seem to mind life as a solo kitty however, because it means more attention from you. She is very outgoing and would do well in a variety of households, as long as her people were around a lot to give her the affection she seeks. Since she can get nippy when playing, she may not be a best fit for young kids. She would be better with older kids and is currently unknown regarding dogs. Scrabble has an upcoming dental appointment on 12/3, so will not be able to be adopted until after that (and potentially a bit later, factoring in any follow up or recovery time). This energetic, adorable gal is so ready to live the good life in a cozy, loving home that can support her vibrant personality and give her the care, attention and company she enjoys. After all, who doesn’t love a good game of Scrabble?

Finnegan, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Hi! My name is Finn and I am a sweet, snuggly and playful 3-year-old cat looking for my forever home!
I have changed homes a few times in my life, so I can be more reserved when entering a new environment and may take a little bit of time to establish trust and show my cute little face; but once I start getting comfortable, my playful, curious and snuggly personality will come out. Some of my favorite things to do include checking out my new environment and getting to know all the nooks and crannies in it, especially high up perches! Once I get really comfortable, you can often find me sprinting around the house, showing off my athletic capabilities. I really enjoy playing with toys that I can pounce on/bat/chase, as well as watching the world go by through the windows. I am quite the snuggler, and in an ideal world, I would love for my humans to be available frequently for my snuggly tendencies, especially in the evening, but even more so at night. At night, you’ll find me sharing your bed so we can snuggle all night long! I do have a couple of quirks that you should know about me. First, while I like being scratched, sometimes I get a little sensitive and overstimulated by a lot of touching. I enjoy being scratched on the head but do not really enjoy being touched anywhere else on my body. If you watch my body language, I’ll let you know when I’m done or it’s not the time to pet me. There are also times where I see my human’s hands as a toy, but I’m really good at being redirected to my actual toys. It is not known if I have ever lived with any other animals, so the best assumption is that I would be a great solo cat! I would prefer to live with older children who know how to respect my space when I request it. At the end of the day, all I crave is having a safe space to be the best cat I can be (and I think I’m a pretty great cat!). If you can play with me, give me love and attention, respect my body language, and provide me with this space, I will make a very loyal, playful and loving companion! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Butterball and Baby Turnip, Males
Domestic Shorthair, 1.5 years
Butterball (tabby, 2 years and 9 months) and Baby Turnip (white/tabby, 1 year and 9 months) are two reserved, handsome goofballs looking for their forever home! This quiet bonded pair is learning to trust their people, gain confidence, and enjoy the cozy indoor life.
When these two came into our care they were super shut down and wouldn't let anyone touch them. In the time they have been in foster care, they have made leaps and bounds socially! At this point Butterball loves attention. While he is still skittish around any quick movements he will let his humans pet him. If he ever feels uncomfortable he will simply leave. Butterball loves to lay on the couch and absolutely adores lazy mornings in bed. Turnip prefers to be left alone but he can usually be found lounging close by. Butterball and Turnip are SOOO bonded and love to wrestle and then curl up together for a nap. Both cats have relatively low energy but they do get random bursts of zoomies. Turnip doesn't usually play with his humans but loves to bat toys around the floor by himself. Butterball doesn't usually care to play with toys and would rather get pets. Butterball and Baby Turnip currently live with one human and no other pets in an apartment. These sweeties would thrive in a quiet and predictable home with engaged, compassionate humans who are willing to give them the time they need to learn to trust and love while settling into the joys of a warm, safe, loving home. This will look like giving them space when they need it and helping them build up to gentle pets and affection. These lovely boys do well with other gentle cats and children over 12; they have not met any dogs to date. It takes a special soul to help cats that have had a challenging start in life learn that humans are good and can be a source of love, affection, and care, but the results are worth it. Butterball and Baby Turnip are so ready to go on this journey with the right people. Could that be with you? ------ Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Raja, Female
Domestic Medium Hair, 7 years
This 8-year-old medium-haired fluffer is as regal as her name, which means "King" in Hindi. True to her title, Raja loves being treated like royalty and knows how to command a household with her charming yet independent personality. Her stunning coat adds to her majestic aura, and don’t forget about her adorable toe beans—they’re as cute as they are paw-sitively perfect!
Raja is a low-energy kitty who enjoys the finer things in life, like lounging on her cat tree, basking in sunny spots, and keeping an eye on the resident squirrels through the window. She’s a playful fluffer at heart, entertaining herself with toys (and occasionally losing them under furniture). Raja can be quite the chatterbox and will let you know when she needs something, but her appreciation for your efforts is always clear. This queen prefers a calm, structured home where her boundaries are respected. She’s skittish around new people and large gatherings, so a quiet environment without young kids is necessary. She hasn't met any other cats or dogs yet, but may be open to them with the right introduction. While Raja isn’t a fan of being picked up, she loves gentle affection on her terms and enjoys exploring her space. Her ideal family will be patient, understanding, and willing to accommodate her routine. Raja has some special needs that require a little extra care—she has arthritis that is managed with monthly injections and occasional ear issues that are easily treated with provided medication. She gets nervous when left alone for long periods, so a family that’s around often or can provide consistent companionship is ideal. Trips to the vet stress her out, so she needs a dose of gabapentin before visits to keep her calm. Otherwise, her only other health consideration is that she has not been declawed while in our care. If you’re looking for a sophisticated, loyal, and occasionally sassy companion to brighten your days, Raja is ready to rule your heart and home. Apply to meet this royal kitty today—she’s sure to make your life paws-itively amazing!

Dodger, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 Year
Dodger is a 1-year-old, spunky boy looking for his forever home! He's a super goofy guy. Most of the time, this sweetheart looks surprised at everything going on around him, as if it's the first time he's ever seen it. But he’s very brave, and charges head on into everything!
This fun dude adores his cardboard scratcher, watching the birds by the window, and then napping on """"his"""" blanket. Dodger also loves playing with his foster brother Copper. He can go at it for quite a while and gets super into their games! He has an affinity for catnip toys and will tear them apart if they are not durable enough, or if he gets a hold of them for too long. Dodger especially enjoys interactive toys like the sticks with a string and a feather attached to them. So long as Dodger has enough space to run back and forth, he'll take advantage of it! He's more active in the morning, and evenings; if he gets at least an hour or so of active playing time a day, he's happy and content. When he’s not zooming, he loves to just wander around the house and explore! Dodger has bowed legs, that I was told were from a spinal injury he sustained as a young kitten. He is fully healed and is completely mobile, other than a small (and adorable) little skip to his step; however, he will probably require steps to get onto elevated places like higher beds or perching spots. His future family should be okay with providing these to help him live his best explorer life! This sweet boy is currently living with 2 adults and 2 other fixed male cats in a single-family house. An ideal home for Dodger would be with at least one other active, friendly cat to bond and play with. He isn’t however fond of dogs, and needs to live in a dog free home. He would do just fine living with kiddos. He is a social guy who loves to be loved and would do wonderfully well in a family home with people who are around a lot, where he can get lots of pets and attention from everyone. Overall, Dodger dude is a fun, silly boy who is so ready to give all the love and laughs to his forever family. If you’re ready to hit a home run with a real champion of a cat, please come visit Dodger today! — There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. She loves to play every day, hiding and chasing with wand toys, and sometimes gettign the zoomies when it’s time for a real cardio workout!

Cuddles is loving the cozy indoor life; she currently lives in a house with two older adults. Cuddles’ ideal home is a calm environment where she can feel safe and spend time together with her people. Humans who work from home or are around a lot are ideal. Yuumi, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 7 yrs
Yuumi is a 7-year-old, playful goofball looking for her forever home! She’s full of personality and affection, always wanting to be by your side.
While she enjoys her cat naps, Yuumi also has bursts of energy and loves to play. She'll happily chase after catnip toys and feather wands, claim the best window seat to watch squirrels and passing cars, and is also a skilled mouser. If she doesn’t get enough playtime, she might turn your feet into her next target! Once you become her person, she’ll spend many nights cuddled up next to you. Just be sure to keep an eye on your dinner plate—Yuumi is a sneaky food thief. Yuumi was found in a snowbank with severe frostbite, leading to nerve damage and her tail amputation. She has spent over a year recovering and adjusting to medications, proving to be one of the strongest, most resilient cats out there. She takes her meds like a champ and will shower you with love in return for your care. She is also slightly overweight and would benefit from a home where she can stay active. She thrives in a home where her humans are around often. When making friends, she also does well with older children (12+) who can respect her boundaries, as she can get overstimulated at times. Yuumi does not get along well with other cats and prefers to be the only cat in the home. Snoopy (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1-2 years old
Snoopy is a 1-1/2-year-old, playful and snuggly kitty looking for his forever home! This sweet guy is very dog-like, in that he prefers to spend time with the people who care for him and will find his own private space to hunker down when faced with the unknown.
He is a short and stocky little guy who loves cat nip toys and springs! He enjoys following you around and loves to sprawl all over you. This handsome fellow enjoys cat tunnels and cat towers and is always ready to savor some window time in the sun. Snoopy is pretty chill. He plays for a while and then wants to just be on you, getting all the attention and keeping you company. He currently lives with one adult and my 14-year-old son in a house; he has his own space where he is kept separate from the resident cats. Snoopy doesn’t like to be alone, so would thrive with a forever human who works from home or is retired. He needs to be the only cat and live in a calm, quieter house. Snoopy only takes a short time to trust, provided his people can help him feel secure and confident in his new home. Princess and Nana Pudding (FIV+, Bonded Pair), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 8 months old
Nanna Pudding and Princess are 8-month-old divas (in the best way) looking for their forever homes! These gals are sisters and are deeply bonded. They lack life experience and as such can be a bit shy and reserved upon initially meeting a new human, but they warm up quickly.
Both girls are friendly, love cuddling and playing. They particularly enjoy cuddling and playing with each other. Once they become comfortable, they are pretty easy-going cats who have embraced the comforts of indoor home life. As you'll notice, Nana Pudding only has one eye. Due to an issue with her left eye, she underwent eye removal surgery a couple weeks ago and is feeling much better without it. She is healing perfectly and is not fazed at all. Plus, we think she looks even cuter as a one eyed panther! Princess and Nana Pudding are currently living in a home with 5 other cats and two humans. They get along well with the other cats in the home, and due to their medium-energy level would thrive in either a house or apartment. They would love to have a human or humans who are around on a regular basis. They haven’t yet met a dog, and would prefer to live with children over the age of 12 due to their initial skittish behavior. Princess and Nana Pudding are both FIV+, but that doesn’t mean they can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. Boca Chica, Female
Domestic Mediumhair, 5 years old
Boca Chica is a 5-year-old bombshell tortie looking for her forever home! This beautiful, woolly bear CAT-erpillar is a very laid-back girl. She spends most of the day watching over the neighborhood or snoozing in one of her favorite spots (on top of the bed, under the dresser, or on her favorite cushion).
She spends the evenings and nights glued to her foster mom and playing with toys. At bedtime, she can be found sleeping next to her foster mom's face to keep an eye on her. Boca Chica is a pretty chill girl, but she has her spirited moments. She will bring you her favorite fish toy if she's in the mood to play, and will go crazy for her catnip banana, laser pointer, or scratcher. When she's not playing, she's content to zonk out next to you. She embodies the concept of ""work hard play hard!” Boca Chica lives with her sister Chi Chi, her foster mom, and three other young women in a house. She loves to explore the house and to get attention and belly rubs from her foster mom's roommates. She is a sociable girl but does occasionally get fed up with Chi Chi's high energy! Boca Chica would thrive in a home with her sister Chi Chi or another cat who respects her boundaries. She will very politely communicate her boundaries to adults through a firm paw or gently putting her mouth on your hand, so she would do best with older children or adults who are familiar with cats and their body language. Given her past ownership, she would do best with a family that is not out of the home for more than a night. She will thrive with people who are around frequently to give her the love and affection she deserves. Her forever humans will also need to take part in her at-home spaw days—this fluffy supermodel requires frequent, thorough brushing to prevent hairballs and matting of her gorgeous tortie fur. Both she and Chi Chi came from a stressful pre-rescue situation, and are so ready to enjoy the pampered, cozy indoor life with loving, patient humans. If you’d like to brush, snuggle with, and hang out with a lovely, loyal gal, consider adding Boca Chica to your family. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Buddy, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years old
Buddy is a 2-year-old, smart, cuddly, energetic sweetie looking for his forever home! Buddy has a ton of energy, is very curious, and LOVES human attention (extra emphasis on love). He'll play with just about anything, including various cat toys, brooms, and shoelaces.
He is friendly and outgoing when meeting new people for the first time and is eager to receive the same love and affection that he shows everybody else. He finds his own quiet space for a nap while his humans work from home, but as soon as a lap is available, he’s ready to purr and get some cuddles. Buddy is extremely chatty and has a lot of funny and interesting vocalizations, especially as he watches the birds outside. His main hobby, though, is playing with his cat toys, especially a worm wand toy that he proudly carries around in his mouth after hunting his prey. He also spends time plotting how to get into closets and cupboards. We'll warn you again how darn smart this boy is! Buddy currently lives with two humans in a house. We think this handsome fellow will do well with a person or family who's willing and able to spend time interacting with him and playing with him, possibly including another cat. While his current fosters were on vacation, Buddy stayed with another foster who has several resident cats, and he got along extremely well with them after just a few days. He has been around kids and was sweet, patient, and not afraid of them. We have not observed him around dogs, but because he’s so confident in new situations, our hunch is that he'd be great with a dog who is used to cats. This adorable guy has a lot of energy, curiosity, and intelligence that needs to be channeled into fun enrichment activities. His love bucket overflows when his humans pay him lots of attention, so it is imperative that he end up in a forever home with humans who are specifically looking for a lively companion, a nap-with-me-on-the-couch cat, and a follow-me-around-the-house cat. So, if you're home a lot and are ready to dedicate some time to loving up on sweet Buddy, he's ready to return all that love and more! --- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Mama Lambie, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1-2 years old
Mama Lambie is a 1 1/2 year-old curious, active, young girl who is looking for her forever home! This lovely lady did a great job raising her family and is now taking advantage of no longer having to care for kittens—she's ready for some me-time.
Mama Lambie may be a bit quiet and reserved at first but once she gets comfortable, she is a full-on kitten who loves constant attention and affection. She enjoys her cardio, so you’ll often find her running around doing zoomies, playing with the feather-on-the-stick toy, and chasing after balls. Chin scratches are Mama L.’s favorite and she rolls around for brushing and cat nip. She happily gobbles up squeezable treats and can be won over quickly by using them. Mama Lambie doesn't love being picked up but tolerates being moved a couple feet. She can be vocal when wanting attention and may do best in a home without shared walls. Mama Lambie currently has her own room where she loves the tall cat trees in front of the open windows. It is full of fun toys and has many areas to perch. This lovely lady enjoys checking out the neighborhood, so would thrive with a home with a window seat or cat climber to let her see the world. She would also love a home where she has room to run and roam with humans who are around a lot to play and interact with her often. This sweet girl does well with respectful, older children who understand basic cat behaviors, including avoidance. She is slowly being introduced to other adult cats and to small dogs and may need a longer than normal introduction period. She may not do well with large dogs given her history prior to coming into Pet Haven's care, unless the large dog is quite uninterested in any interaction. Mama Lambie has done a wonderful job with her children and is now ready to be the center of someone’s world herself. Could that be with you? Gregory, Male
Domestic Mediumhair, 5 years old
Gregory is an attention-loving, cute little 5-year-old guy who is looking for a forever home! This guy is a tiny cat in body and spirit; he's quite reserved at first but is anxious to get to know and love you.
Gregory appreciates his daily nap time and the space to explore around the house at night. But he also adores getting up close and personal during a snuggle! He is a low-energy cat who appreciates quiet enrichment. He would enjoy a home with views of an active neighborhood or backyard, but he prefers to stay away from the direct action; this guy loves the cozy indoor life. This lovely boy currently lives with two humans and a dog. He would thrive in a home as the only animal, the apple of your eye. He could also share a space with other mellow animals, but a long introduction process is needed to help him feel comfortable and safe. Animals with high energy can be intimidating to this little guy! Gregory is very loving toward everyone (including other calm pets), but he is still working through his fears of quick movements and loud noises. Potential adopters should know that he appreciates patience and a family who is willing to wait for him to come out of his shell. Once he does, you won't be disappointed! Peanut Butter and Scooter Magoo (Bonded Pair), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 5-6 months old
Scooter (“Scoots”) and Peanut Butter are a precious and loving pair of bonded 7-month-old brothers looking for their forever home together! Peanut Butter and Scooter are both active kitties who love tunnels and toys and wrestling with each other.
They are both purr-ers who love to snuggle up on the couch with each other and with their person or another household kitty. Jumping and scrambling to grab the feathered wand is a huge hit, but they are just as happy in a box, rummaging in a paper bag or chasing a tin foil ball. Scooter is especially curious, and sometimes talkative. In contrast Peanut Butter likes to hunker down in the sitting chicken position on a rug in the sun. PB can sometimes get underfoot as he doesn’t respond as quickly to moving human feet. Anyone lucky enough to adopt these two will need to be aware of PB’S whereabouts - mostly during high-traffic moments like in the kitchen at feeding time! Peanut Butter is a special little Munchkin. He was born the smallest of his litter and developed a little differently. He was born missing the normal anatomy of either female or male cats! This means Peanut Butter is what we call intersex, and upon surgical evaluation, no reproductive organs were able to be identified. PB functions normally in the litter box just like his brother so no worries there-he/she is just a unique special little being. These adorable sweeties sadly lost their mother at two weeks old and had a hard start, but over the past months they’ve been growing well and Peanut Butter has caught up quickly to his brother developmentally. Both boys are very sweet, easy kittens to have around and adaptable to whatever routine the human sets. They both get a lot of exercise in this household. Peanut Butter loves to get into bed under the down comforter, cuddle close, and sleep. He also loves his furry donut, and his cozy cave. Scoots has a loud purr box, he is happy to sleep independently or with his human and brother. The boys love staring out the window at the bird feeder watching their favorite show, “Goldfinch,” every day. These sweethearts have been living in a big home with a large gentle goldendoodle, 1 retired human, and 3 female cats/kittens (aged 14 years, 15 months, and 7 months). They have access to several levels of the home, thus racing up and down staircases chasing each other to great enjoyment. I suspect if you asked them, they’d love a similar environment in their forever home. Peanut Butter and Scoots are used to having a human around a lot, since they live with a human who is retired. A retired or work-from-home person would be ideal! Due to some tough experiences in their original home with a “protection dog,” I do not recommend the boys go to a home with a rowdy or aggressive dog—but a calm, gentle canine friend would likely be well accepted. Because Peanut Butter is a unique being, and needs a little more attention due to his special qualities, only experienced cat person(s) would be the best fit for these little loves. These sweethearts had a very hard start for such young boys, but they have thrived in their cozy, affectionate foster home, and would love to continue their journey with the right loving cat-savvy humans. ----- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat?
