His whole being radiates a pure, wild sweetness, flitting through night woods with little melodious cries, on some cryptic errand. There is also an aura of doom and sadness about this trusting little creature. He has been abandoned many times over the centuries." -  William S. Burroughs author of The Cat Inside

Baby, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 17-18 years old
Baby (17 years old) is looking to be the center of someone’s world while she lives out the rest of her days like the queen she is! Don’t let her age turn you away; this beautiful girl with striking tortoiseshell markings has lots of love and snuggles left to give!
Baby has Stage 2 kidney disease, so will need regular checkups every few months. Her forever family should be committed to continuing her care and monitoring her water intake so she can continue to live her very best life. Because of her condition, this lovely lady prefers the softest litter possible mixed with crystal litter. Baby has been calm around other cats and dogs but has not lived with children. I don’t think she would have any issues with older children, as she will take all the attention she can get, but she does prefer a calm space. Although Baby is good around other cats, she has been bullied in the past and is probably best in a single cat environment. On the canine side, Baby quickly showed my dog who was boss—but once that was established, they were cuddling on the couch within a few days! Baby is a discerning gourmet and prefers Friskies wet food. She’s a chill gal and, at this stage of her life, prefers relaxation to running around/playtime. Baby immediately wants to keep you company in everything you do from working (cuddled on your lab or next to you) to relaxing on the couch (when she’ll lay on your chest and purr) to bed time (where she’ll continue to soothe you with her purrs and cuddles). She loves to be on, next to, or near her people, but is not a fan of being picked up. When she feels she’s not getting enough attention from you, she’ll use her (declawed) paws on your arm in the cutest way that is hard to say no, but she also knows when to walk away if you aren’t able to respond at that exact second! Senior cats have so much love to give and deserve the very best. Baby is so ready to live out her golden years in a caring forever home. Could that be with you? Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Ryker and Muffin (Bonded Pair), Male and Female
Domestic Medium Hair, 1.5 years old
Ryker and Muffin are a sweet, gorgeous one-year old pair of friends looking for a loving, patient forever home to call their own.
Ryker is a floofy floofball with floofy tufts of hair adorably springing from behind his ears and huge gorgeous amber eyes that take in everything. He loves observing the world from his high cat tree perches and has just recently discovered the pleasure of accepting scritches and caresses. Muffin has the cutest little forever kitten face with crystal blue eyes and a charming spray of gray spatter over his face and tail. He loves churros and is open to having his nose booped but is still wary of the big two-legged creatures roaming around and disturbing the peace. Muffin is curious and playful and especially fond of tunnels and ball track toys. This sweet pair has a medium level of energy. They play and explore but are mostly calm and content to entertain themselves. They love looking out windows and lounging in high perches. Because they come from a hoarding situation, they will require a quiet, predictable home with cat-savvy people experienced with under-socialized cats. No kids under fourteen, please. Ryker and Muffin have made great strides but are just at the beginning of blossoming into their best and bravest selves and will need a forever family that is patient, patient, patient and unconditionally loving to help them continue gaining confidence and trust. They would get along with other respectful cats, and, although they haven't met any dogs, they would likely do fine with cat-savvy, respectful canine siblings. Slow introductions would of course be essential. If you’d like to give these sweet best friends the cozy, loving, calm life they so richly deserve, please consider adding Ryker and Muffin to your home and your heart. Lilly, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Lilly is a sweet, 14-month-old kitty looking for her furr-ever home! This pretty tuxedo lady came to us with her 5 kittens that she had been raising under some front steps.
She has clearly been an indoor cat, as she is very friendly and has perfect litterbox habits. Lilly appreciates slow intros with other pets but does fine with gentle dogs and cats after she feels comfortable. Lilly loves to be where her people are! She is very expressive and loves attention. She will do best with people who are very affectionate and can help her feel safe and loved. This sweet gal remembers having to survive outside, and how scary it can be to be alone. Despite all she has been through, Lily is a very sweet girl who loves to receive pets and to sit on our laps! Lilly is living in a single-family home with three adults, resident cats, and a German shepherd mix dog. She has a medium energy level and gets along well with everyone. She’d also be fine with calm, cat-savvy kids over five. Lilly would love a home where her humans are around a lot, and where she can watch everything, from nature to human activities. She loves to be your best helper! This beautiful lady will be ready to go to her forever home after her spay appointment on 3/30/25. Lilly did a wonderful job raising her babies under tough circumstances, and is now ready to live the warm, cozy indoor life with all the affection and care. If you’d like to help make that happen, Lilly would love to meet you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Take Off, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Take Off is a handsome 3-year-old dude looking to cruise into his forever home! He's a pro at giving you looks full of attitude but is truly a playful lovebug.
This charming fellow is playful and likes to hang around near or cuddle with his foster. He enjoys playing in the cat tunnel, ball track toys, kicker toys, wand chasers, and of course catnip. He tends to follow the foster around and shortly after initiating pets he will plop down and show his belly. He likes a bit of belly rubs and really seems to like chin scratches. His foster works from home and he enjoys relaxing in the spot normally occupied by a keyboard so he can partially rest on the foster's arm and get pets. He can be a purring machine and enjoys lap cuddles sometimes. He'll also cross his front paws when resting like a distinguished gentleman. Take Off is a medium-energy cat who enjoys lots of stimulation and interactive playtime with throwing toys (any cat nip toys or balls) and wand chasers. He would do best in a home with forever humans who work from home or are around a lot, so he can get sufficient attention and cheerfully keep his people company. It is recommended that he is not in a home with kids unless they are older and able to understand cat cues. Take Off typically prefers to initiate pets, and can sometimes view hands and feet as toys. Having various fun, engaging playthings around the house will help distract and redirect him from this habit. He would likely not be a good fit with a shy or easily scared cat since he's a larger cat and likes to wrestle sometimes. Large, chill, friendly cats who like to play would be okay. (He’s never met a dog before.) This lovely boy had a vet stay 2 days after coming into care for a urinary blockage, so he's on prescription urinary food and his litter box needs to be monitored to ensure he's urinating normally. He's also taking gabapentin twice a day for some sensitivity on his back (capsules that are emptied out and mixed with the wet food). It took some time for Take Off to build trust with his foster and will likely require patience, love, and compassion with his forever humans to do the same. Coming from such a rough start, Take Off really needs love, and just has to gain the confidence and tools to channel his energy and realize that so many people can be good and kind. If you’re ready to launch into an adventure of kindness, growth, and compassion, please consider adding Take Off to your family. ----- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Stevie and Caroline (Bonded Pair), Females
Domestic Shorthair, 7 and 8 months old
Stevie (7-months-old) and Caroline (8-months-old) are sweet and playful bonded girls looking for their forever home. These beautiful girls are very bonded. They love to snuggle with each other and play. They also enjoy watching what's going on outside and keeping an eye on those pesky birdies!
Stevie loves to snuggle with her person in bed and has quite the purr machine in her chest! She also loves to play cell phone games with you and will keep you company while watching TV. Caroline is still a bit skittish. She's warming up to treats and loves to follow her human around at a distance. She'll accept pets and touches and treats and wants to see what you're doing, but on her terms. She may never become a full-blown snuggler, but she is getting bolder and does enjoy butt scritches! These two ladies are very energetic and run and play with each other frequently. Stevie and Caroline currently live in a townhome with 1 human, 3 other cats, and there was a dog in the house until recently. Their ideal home is in a calm, compassionate home where they can spend their days together, and where Caroline can gain more confidence and trust. They are great with dogs and cats, and will be okay with gentle, cat-savvy children over five years old. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Arfur, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 12 years old
Arfur/Arthur (King Arthur) is a sweet 12-year-old man, who is so ready to find his forever home! This handsome stripey dude can be reserved when you first meet him but is an absolute cuddle unit—he will happily invade your personal space once he opens up a little and feels relaxed.
He can be moody occasionally, but overall, this guy loves attention. He spends most of his time napping but will come out for food and pets. Arfur doesn't play very often but he will follow you around, as he’s quite curious. When the mood strikes him, he will engage with a wand toy. It's likely that as he becomes more comfortable in his new home, he will increase his playtime every day. This noble king currently lives in one-bedroom apartment with his foster human. His ideal home would be in a house or townhome with more room to walk around, and with lots of windows for him to perch on and survey his domain. He needs someone who works from home or is around a lot to help him gain confidence and receive all the pets he deserves. Arfur prefers to be the only animal in the home, but would do well with gentle, cat-savvy older kids (12+). This guy has a unique style of using the litterbox (standing up meerkat-style), so he will need a box with high walls. His forever family should also be committed to feeding him his urinary care diet, so he can live his best healthy life. Arfur takes about a week or two to feel comfortable with new people. At first, he will be very reserved (but not hostile) upon first interactions. Once he trusts someone, he is a love bug. He also is very communicative and vocal in letting you know exactly when he wants/ doesn't want attention—the best kind of drama king! Arfur was also an offensive tackle in his previous life, so be forewarned: he’s 17 pounds of love and muscle. When he chills on your chest, which he really enjoys, it’s very sweet but know that you won’t need a weighted blanket! This noble King of the Round Table is so ready to live his golden years in peace and comfort. If you’d like an audience with the king, Arfur is ready to meet you! Ty, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 5 years old
Ty is a sweet, (estimated) 5-year-old cat found as a stray in St. Paul; he is so ready to find his forever home!
Because of his time on the streets, this cute guy does take time to gain confidence and trust. This version of “My Favorite Things” sums up handsome Ty and his adorable cheeks! Sunshine beams streaming through windows Cavernous carriers and safe covered spaces Snuggling up for a midday nap on the bed These are a few of Ty’s favorite things Seafood-flavored wet food and crunchy kibble Chin scratches and head scratches with purrs while we canoodle Watching sunrises out the window and moons in each phase These are a few of Ty’s favorite things When you meet Ty He can be shy But with time and patience Ty will gain trust and surely thrive And have a loving family of his own! Domestic Longhair, 12 years old
Nacho is a 12-year-old, extremely sweet fluff ball looking for his forever home! This beautiful long-haired gentleman still loves to play and will rub up against you or headbutt you whenever he wants rubs. He loves when you call his name and will come running over to say hi.
Nacho is very chill and always down for a nap by himself or some playtime with a mouse toy. His future humans should make sure to brush his lustrous coat regularly, so he can continue to be his dapper self. This guy is on the mellow side since he's a bit older, but his affection is ageless! He currently lives in an apartment, where he enjoys the simple life. Nacho loves a quiet home with just one or two people. He will win your heart with his big personality and will always be right by your side like a true best friend!
This social butterfly likes to spend his day lounging around and being petted, and also following his human and kitty friends around for company. He is also very playful and enjoys getting the zoomies throughout the day, during which he and his feline buddy will chase each other around the house. With all this being said about his social side, he is respectful of other cats' boundaries and also does very well when he needs to be alone. During these times he enjoys listening to the radio and having a good nap on his favorite blanket. Fun fact about Bert: he used to live outside the emergency department and watch the ambulances come into the hospital. He would also patrol around the hospital parking lot making sure everything was in order. He was named collectively by his former coworkers after the hospital code BERT! Bert boy currently lives in a house with adult humans and kitty friends. Like mentioned previously, he loves being around his human and kitty friends and often seeks out someone to hang out with. Because of this, Bert’s forever home will need to include at least one young and friendly kitty for Bert to bond with. It is unknown if he has ever been around a dog or children, but older respectful children should be ok with his adaptive nature. He might also be okay with a calm and respectful doggo friend as well. Overall, Bert is a dapper sweetie who brings so much love and joy to every room he enters. He has never met a human he couldn’t bring a smile to, and he’d love the opportunity to bring one to you, too, if you’ll give him the chance. Casey and Lil Spice (Bonded Pair), Females
Domestic Shorthair, 4 months and 3 months old
Casey (4-months-old) and Lil Spice (3-months-old) are a sweet and precious kitten duo looking for their forever home together! While not biological littermates, these girls were introduced to each other at a very young age and bonded immediately. They treat each other like sisters and are often snuggling, playing and following each other around.
Lil Spice is the most adorably unique cinnamon tortie you’ve ever seen! She is silly and playful, with equal parts cuddly and affectionate. She has a giant rumbly purr that can be heard from across the room. She greets her humans at the door, eager for her favorite pets. She absolutely adores being scratched right on the tippy top of the bridge of her nose. She’s a wiggly little worm, always finding something silly to play with. Whether it be chasing her tail, biting the button of her foster mom’s sweater or chasing her sister Casey around, Spice girl can always find something fun to do. She especially enjoys rolling little ping pong balls across the room. At any time of the day, her foster mom can find at least 5 ping pong balls under the couch, a telltale sign that lots of fun was had. When Spice has gotten all of her wiggles out and is ready for a snuggle, she enjoys being picked up where she either melts into the lap of or on the shoulder of her foster human. Casey is the precious mini panther with a curiosity and bravery that makes her foster mom so proud. When Casey landed in foster care 1 ½ months ago, she was flighty and skittish. Hands were very intimidating to her, and she preferred to hangout in her hidey house where she could safely observe the strange 2-legged humans she now lived with. Over the last 45 days, Casey has made leaps and bounds of progress – so much progress that her foster human often has tears in her eyes when she leaves the foster room. Casey no longer hides, but loves being out and about playing with her toys, chasing Spice around and laying near her foster mom. She still gets nervous when she sees hands approaching her, but loves being scratched on her head, chin and neck. She makes her foster laugh with the way that she drools when she gets her favorite scratches. She’s even recently begun purring when her foster mom comes into her room, showing that she’s really learning to open up and trust! Just like her sister, Casey can always be counted on to engage in a game of soccer. She also loves running, jumping and chasing wand toys, getting the cutest little “crazy eyes” when she dials in on catching the “prey”. Lil Spice and Casey are best friends and encourage one another in each of their weaknesses. Lil Spice’s social personality helps show Casey that humans are friends who can be trusted. It’s pretty special the way Casey looks towards Lil Spice to lead the way. And lead the way does she ever. She might be small, but Lil Spice girl is mighty! Casey and Lil Spice currently live in their very own room of their foster house. They do fantastic with other cats and are very comfortable with felines. Because Casey is still more reserved, they would prefer to live in a quieter home without crazy dogs or young kids. They would especially love humans who understand and look forward to the reward that comes with giving quieter cats time and patience to come out of their shell. Overall, these girls bring so much joy and livelihood to their foster home. The way they open up and trust is so fulfilling and is going to make someone feel like the luckiest person ever. Apply below to meet these lovely girls.

Anse and Lambrini (Bonded Pair), Females
Domestic Shorthair, 9 months old
Anse and Lambrini are a pair of sleek and beautiful 9-month-old mini panther sisters looking for their forever home together.
First is Anse – this lovely and well-behaved tabby kitten has lots of love to give. She is reserved at first and will need extra time to become comfortable with new surroundings and friends, but her curiosity gets the better of her—if his littermate Lambrini is playing or enjoying a treat, she will slowly come out of hiding to make sure she’s not missing out on something. Anse loves to survey the situation from a hiding spot before coming out to join the fun. Whether it's under a bed or inside the cat tree, she enjoys her time alone, but the need for love always wins out. She especially loves a spot in the sun and a view of the outdoors. She also likes to snuggle up to a stuffed animal for comfort! Anse has the energy of a young cat—well-balanced between occasional bursts of play and mellow moments in the sun. Next is Lambrini – this girl is a sweet, reserved little black kitty; like his sister Anse, she may not come out of her hiding spot right away, but the second you reach in to pet her, she turns into a little purring machine. Lambrini seems to be a very smart cat, always observing her sister and maybe even silently judging her a little. 🙂 She knows how to work all the angles, so she still gets treats and pets even when she only wants to poke her head out of the fluffy bed. She is a bit hesitant around new humans, but endlessly patient when one of Anse climbs into the cozy bed with her and even sits on her once in a while! Her bright eyes looking at you make you want to just comfort her and give her a happy home. Lambrini is fairly laid-back and mellow, but her foster home has a camera in their room, and she has been caught on video sneaking out when no one is around and playing with the toys alone. She remains calm even when her sister is playing and clamoring for attention. Anse and Lambrini currently live in a foster home with two human adults and two older children. Due to their reserved nature, they have been living in their own private room separate from the noise of a busy home. Their ideal home is quiet and predictable, with patient humans who are dedicated to showing these two kittens how awesome it is to receive lots of love, affection and attention. They would likely do better with older children or those that are willing to be patient while they become accustomed to a new place and new family. Neither kitten has met any dogs yet. If you’d like to add a couple of lovely and affectionate panthers to your family, Anse and Lambrini are so ready to meet you! ---- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Bonnie, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 9 months old
Bonnie is a nine-month-old, sweet little cat looking for her forever home! This petite stripey girl is pretty reserved and wary at first and takes a little while to warm up--but give her a few pets and she'll be your best friend! She loves to be held and cuddled and will roll onto her back to request attention. She's a complete purr machine.
Bonnie is usually pretty low-key, especially for a young cat, but does get the occasional bout of zoomies. She's so fast! This pretty lady currently lives in a house in the suburbs, which is frankly too big for her liking. The open space makes her feel a bit unsure, and she isn't a fan of things going on in multiple parts of the house when she's unable to watch everything at the same time. She gets along very well with the two adult humans and the many other cats that live in the home. Bonnie would love another chill, relaxed cat friend to keep her company, and would be fine with gentle children over 12; she hasn’t met any dogs yet. This adorable tabby would thrive in an apartment, townhome, or small house, where she can keep tabs on everything that’s happening. Her forever family should be around a lot to help her develop confidence and feel safe, loved, and cared for in her new home. Bonnie can't wait to meet her new best friend—could that be you? Thora and Sister Smudge (Bonded Pair), Females
Domestic Shorthair, 1 years old
Thora and Sister Smudge are a bonded pair of sweet and affectionate 1-year-old “sisters” looking for a groovy home to call “home” forever! Though it is unlikely these girls are true biological sisters, they love each other as so and are happiest together. They can often be found napping in the same bed with all 8 paws and 2 tails intertwined.
When their humans come into their foster room, they immediately jump down to greet them with their signature flop-and-wiggle on the floor as they ask for scratchies. If Thora and Sister Smudge could talk, they would proudly purr “We are Family” to those with an open heart, promising to bring warmth and joy to their forever home for many years to come! In case you’re wondering who’s who, Thora is the small black cutie with an adorably round head and two bright eyes. She is the braver of the pair, and is sweetly nicknamed “Thora the Explorer” as she is the first to investigate a new person or situation. She loves to play with string and wand toys, has happy kneading paws as she purrs, and likes to look out the window and observe the squirrels and birds. Thora enjoys petting, but the way to initially win her favor is through play. Sister Smudge is the dark tortie with a couple unique orange swirls. She is more reserved at first, waiting for the reassurance from Thora that she is safe and can come out to interact. Once settled Smudgie is very affectionate and social, climbing into laps to cuddle as well as wanting to be around her sister. Smudge isn’t quite as playful, but will still bat at wand toys and catnip balls and do some wrestle-and-chase with Thora. Both of these kitties came from an outdoor cat colony with 40+ cats. Their fosters slowly built trust with them outside, and after a few months Sister Smudge and Thora would greet them at dinner time and ultimately decided they really liked being scratched. Considering that they spent their first year without regular human contact, they are remarkably calm and trusting of humans. They have adjusted well to the sounds of indoor life – computers, music and people talking around them – and have been perfect litter-box users since day 1! Their ideal home could be any size apartment or house, with plenty of windows for the girls to watch the outdoors and reminisce about their past life in the great outdoors (although they both agree that life indoors is much more enjoyable). These girls are great with other cats, and have not yet met a dog or young children. As with most cats, they will take time to warm up to new people and environments and to gradually explore larger spaces. Once settled, both cats allow nail trimming and can be picked up and will eat snacks from human hands. Overall, Thora and Sister Smudge are a well adjusted cat duo who love nothing more than each other, good lap snuggles and fun playful times. They are so excited to find a forever home that they can continue to thrive in, rewarding their humans with all of the good vibes and joy that come with cat companionship! Apply below if you’d like to meet them. ---- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Cosmo, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years old
Hi, my name is Cosmo! I'm a 3-year-old, easy going guy looking to find my perfect forever home! I'm a striking white kitty with black tail markings, and I take life as it comes. I love to start my day off with a delicious breakfast, followed by playtime with my cat foster sister! I love her so much; aren't cat friends the best?
Then after playing, I love to cuddle up in a nice cozy spot to sleep. This is followed by some more playing, until it's time to remind my foster parents that it's dinner time! Then either some cuddle time with the humans or more playing with my cat foster sister to cap off a perfect day. I try to avoid my other foster sister, though—she's a dog and I don't quite understand her. She probably means well; I think she's just too high-energy for my surf-dude vibe. I can be playful, but I also enjoy taking it easy and relaxing. I'm pretty adaptable to my environment, honestly. Whatever anyone else wants to do, I'm good with! I currently live in a house with two foster sisters (a dog and a cat) and my two foster parents. My ideal home would be one that has at least one other cat! I love cats so much and would be so happy to meet a new feline pal. I think I'd be okay with a dog, but they'd need to be low energy. My dog foster sister is too crazy for my liking and wants to be around me all the time. She doesn't have claws and kind of scares me a little. My foster parents tell me I'm chill and low-key, but I need a cat friend. Humans are so great, but cats are even better! I’m a good eater, but it’s likely I have an allergy to chicken—it upsets my tummy and doesn’t work for me. Instead, I eat an all-seafood diet, and that keeps me feeling my best. I also need a home that's okay with using metal bowls; I started to lose a little hair, and it turns out there's a chance I was having an allergic reaction to the ceramic bowls I originally had for my meals. Despite these two small requirements, I really am such a relaxed and happy guy. I get settled in quickly; I just need to feel safe. I love belly rubs from my humans, and I also love to play cat games on a tablet! Do you know how many fish I can catch in 5 minutes? So many! I can’t wait to show you—let’s get to know each other soon! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Peachy (Special Needs), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 year old
Peachy is a perfectly quirky, little 2-year-old orange cat who will keep you on your toes, currently seeking his forever home!
This adorable boy isn’t a lap cat but does enjoy being held and receiving pets on his little head. Peachy can be independent and aloof sometimes because he’s staring into space (orange cat brain cell loading, maybe?) but he loves to play and with the slight sound of a bell, you will find Peachy there! He never misses out on an opportunity to play or eat. He is fairly vocal about what he wants, and this guy knows what he wants! Have you heard of a cat who opens doors? Yep, cats are persistent and smart—you shouldn’t underestimate them. Peachy has indeed learned to open doors during his time at his foster home—who needs opposable thumbs, right? The resident cat who’s been there for three years doesn’t even know how Peachy does it! Peachy currently lives with 3 humans and 3 cats. This guy would absolutely thrive in an environment where he is the only cat (if his people are around frequently) or with other cat friends to pal around with; he is kind and lovely to get along with. One thing to note in his resume: his unique door-opening ability means that if the dry cat food is kept behind that door, Peachy will come to the rescue and grant every cat’s wishes for a feast! His forever family should plan accordingly. Aside from opening doors, Peachy loves to sunbathe in the warmest spot, chirp when you bother him in his sleep, and play with cardboard boxes. Peachy has a rare form of diabetes—diabetes insipidus—but as long as he has access to plenty of water and litter boxes, he can live a healthy, normal life. If anything, Peachy is an ambassador for proper hydration! If you have any questions or concerns about this medical issue, please reach out to Pet Haven and we’ll be able to share more while helping you navigate this with knowledge and compassion. Spring and summer are just around the corner, and what says summer more than a sweet and lovely Peach(y)! Consider adding this cutie-pie to your family. Squeaks (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 year old
Meet Squeaks – Your Future Lap Cat Extraordinaire! Squeaks is a handsome 2-year-old brown-black tabby with a heart as soft as his furry cheeks, looking for his forever home.
Though he may be a little reserved at first, once he knows he’s safe, this guy transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug. This sweet boy loves gentle pets, head scratches, and will happily curl up on your lap, purring himself into a cozy nap. While Squeaks is still figuring out the whole ""toy"" thing, he enjoys watching his foster siblings play and occasionally bats at a toy himself. With time (and a little catnip encouragement), he’ll surely find his playful side! He’s a kind and curious companion to other cats, choosing to run and hide rather than stir up any trouble if another kitty isn’t as friendly. Along with figuring out toys, he's hasn't figured out what a meow sounds like...hence his name, Squeaks! Squeaks is also the proud owner of what his foster mom calls *Resting Purr Face*—his expression may say “mildly annoyed,” but his deep, steady purring tells the real story. Squeaks has a relaxed energy level that says, ""let's chill and binge Bob's Burgers all day."" This mellow dude currently lives with a 10- and 12-year-old that he prefers to snuggle with at bedtime, along with two resident cats about his age. During the day, his foster mom’s lap is his favorite place to relax. Squeaks is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj. Squeaks prefers a calm environment and can be a bit jumpy around loud noises, so he appreciates having a small, comfy hideaway—like under a bed—where he can retreat when he needs a moment. His favorite pastimes include watching birds from the window and lounging in his foster mom’s catio, where he can spy on the squirrels in a safe and secure space. Squeaks would thrive in a home with a fellow chill, friendly resident cat (he hasn’t met a dog yet) and loving forever people (gentle older kids are okay), ready to spend lots of time with him—showering him with all the love, pets, and a warm lap to call his own. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who just needs a little time to warm up, Squeaks might be your perfect match! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Audi, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year old
Audi is a sweet, dapper one-year old boy, looking for his forever home! This sleek panther with the distinctive white patch on his chest loves his human foster mom and frequently follows her around. He enjoys getting lots of loving, pets, and being brushed so his beautiful coat shines ever more.
This guy knows what he wants, and that’s one-on-one closeness with his person. He currently lives with 2 adult humans, and is utterly obsessed with them both, but especially his foster dad. Audi is happiest when spending quality time with them and follows his foster dad everywhere, like a little shadow. Audi also enjoys playing for short periods of time. Right now, wand toys are his favorite. Because Audi loves his humans and does not like to share their attention, he needs to be in a home without other animals. He has not been around kids to date, but older, gentle, cat-savvy kids who can give him lots of calm affection might be okay. Because he thrives on human attention, Audi needs to be in a home with someone who works from home, is retired, or is around very frequently to keep him company. If you’re looking for a truly loving companion to shower with affection every day, bring a little luxury to your life by adding this sleek new Audi to your home! Abby, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 11-12 years old
Abby is a tiny 11-year-old girl looking for a forever family! This little sweetheart is a calm and loving girl. She loves finding places to nap during the day and is always ready to be petted and brushed. She is very curious and loves looking out the window and investigating every sound in the house.
Abby came from a unique situation before fostering and was very slow to come out of her shell in her current foster home. It took about two weeks for her to find her confidence again, but since then she walks around like she owns the place now; she will fit right in with her new forever home! This lovely stripey lady has a low to moderate energy. She is an older girl but still likes to play every so often. She is more interested in exploring the house to investigate every sound or everywhere her people are going. Abby does not always need to be doing something, but she always prefers to hang out and relax in the same space as her people. Abby's foster home has two people and another adult female cat. She is very patient and never aggressive towards the resident cat. She uses her own litter box and is not territorial. This is actually the resident cat's first other cat in the house in a few years, and Abby is very calm and trusting despite our resident cat’s wariness. Abby currently lives in a single-family home but would do well in a variety of homes, as long as she has a space that can be hers to look out the window and nap. She is a very patient cat and has lived peacefully with other cats before; but we’re not sure how she would do with other dogs or with children. She is very patient around humans but does not love being held. However, Abby would probably be okay with calm, cat-friendly children who respected her “no holding” wishes, and were very gentle with her due to some arthritis in her joints. She gets a monthly Solensia shot for her arthritis; her forever people should be committed to continuing this medication to help her live her best, pain-free life. Abby would thrive in a home with people who are around a lot, and with other laid-back friendly cats. She is social but not super-energetic and loves to cuddle, receive pets, and share affection. Senior cats have so much love to give. If you have a calm, loving home, with another gentle cat who would enjoy a friend, please consider adding the lovely Abby the Tabby to your family! Tybalt and Puk (Bonded Pair), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 6 months old
Tybalt and Puk are 6-month-old brothers full of fun and playful kitten energy; and you’re in luck as they are looking for their purrfect forever home together.
Tybalt loves to play. He is a shy boy who warms up if you give him space initially. He loves to climb cat trees and always finds the highest place in the room. He also likes playing in hidey holes and boxes and then jumping out to scare you. He loves chasing his humans’ feet under the blankets when he’s on their bed! Tybalt is a high-energy kitten who requires lots of playtime. He does well with toys like the laser pointer or toys on wands and strings. He plays hard and naps hard, in typical kitten fashion. If he ever gets into something inappropriate, he does well with very gentle, patient redirection toward a more appropriate toy. Puk loves to wrestle with other cats. He also loves to cuddle with people at night. If you respect his space, he will warm up to you. He is a little bit reserved around people but is always ready to pal around with other cats. His favorite thing is lying in the sunshine. Puk has a medium to high energy level. Like all kittens, he loves to play (especially with his brother Tybalt) and explore his environment. These sweethearts currently live in a house with two humans and nine other cats, including their brothers, sister, and mom. They would do equally well in active or quiet homes, as long as their humans provide them with lots of room to run, jump, and play. They both do well with other cats and gentle, older children (haven’t met any dogs yet), and would thrive with humans who are around a lot and enjoy kitten shenanigans. If you’ve been wondering, “Wherefore art thou, kitten friend?”---then wonder no more. Tybalt and Puk would love to meet you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Nymphadora and Oberon (Bonded Pair), Female and Male
Domestic Shorthair and Longhair, 6 months old
Oberon and Nymphadora are a 6-month old kitten duo looking for their forever home together. Nymphadora is shy and loving and Oberon is playful.
Nymphadora is an adorable tabby girl who is sweet and very affectionate once she gets to know you. She might start out shy but will warm up with encouragement. She loves to be scratched above her tail. Once she feels comfortable, this pretty lady loves to explore her environment and eat any lickable treats like Churus! Her favorite toys are made of soft rabbit fur, which she likes to carry in her mouth. Nymphadora is a medium-energy cat. She likes to play but also needs time to be calm and observe those around her. This little beauty is reserved and may need some coaxing and plenty of space to feel brave enough to seek affection from her humans. She will need to go home with her bonded brother Oberon, who will help her relax into the cozy indoor life. Oberon is a cute white-and-tabby boy who loves to play. Everything becomes a toy in his paws! His favorite toys are plastic and make clicking noises on hard floors. He also loves feather toys on strings. Oberon is high energy and requires lots of play and exercise. This athletic boy plays well by himself but also enjoys chasing after toys on strings with his humans. These two sweetie pies currently live in a house with two humans and nine other cats, including their siblings and momma cat. Because Nymphadora is still reserved, she would do best in a quiet home with lots of places to hide, where she can get accustomed to her new environment. She would prefer patient owners who will respect her space while giving her lots of quiet affection. Oberon would also appreciate having owners who enjoy playing with him daily, and where there is perhaps another cat or two (besides Nymphadora) for him to wrestle with. He is also very affectionate and loves to cuddle with other cats and humans on the bed at night. They get along well with other cats and gentle, older children; they haven’t met any dogs yet. Lilly and Ziti (Bonded Pair), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 11 and 13 years old
Lily (11 years) and Ziti (13 years) are sweet, bonded cats looking for their new forever home! Lily is the more outgoing of the pair and very food-motivated. Ziti is sensitive to loud noises and very shy but is happy to get some pets once she knows you. This mother-daughter pair both love string toys and have great purrs.
Besides string toys, the ladies also enjoy crinkly ball toys and make good use of their various scratching posts and pads. And treats are a great way to coax both girls to let you into their hearts. This pair draw comfort and courage from each other. Though Ziti is the more senior, she tends to be Lily’s shadow. Lily is definitely the boss. They like to play together but can be competitive when it comes to treats and human affection. Ziti is a laid-back lady, but she will engage in some play. Lily needs a little playtime to keep her out of trouble. The girls currently live with their foster human in a house. These sweet ladies need a quieter household with the patience to help them grow comfortable and give them time to settle in. They would adjust quite well to respectful kids, but not a loud, exuberant household. It’s currently unknown how they would do with other cats (no dogs, please). The ladies were previously indoor/outdoor cats, so even though they should only enjoy the indoor life now, they will need at least a window-view to keep them happy. If you have a fully enclosed catio or three-season porch, even better! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Ace, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year old
Ace is a 1-year-old, sweet and playful boy looking for his forever home! This formally dressed guy likes to play with tunnels and likes to run after strings when you drag them across the floor.
He enjoys window time and will paw the blanket when he wants to sleep for you to pick the blanket up so he can snuggle in your arm. He has a low- to medium-energy level and enjoys cat nip and towers. Ace lives with one adult and my 14-year-old son in a house. He has some male dominance issues, so he is separated from other cats when they are left unsupervised. This handsome boy does well with older, gentle tweens/teens; he hasn’t met a dog yet. Ace would enjoy a cat friend but would do best with a female companion who is very sweet and welcoming to other cats. He loves pets and snuggles and stays out when company comes over. He would enjoy an attentive family who enjoys cat playtime and is happy to drag strings around for him. If you’d like to spend lots of time enjoying kitty fun with this handsome tuxedo boy, Ace could be a winner for your family! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Jolly Tinseltoes, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year
Jolly is a 1 year old sweet kitty looking for her forever home! This sweet girl lived outside for a couple months, therefore she has a bit of a wild side and is more independent and reserved. Don't take that to mean that she doesn't like people, because that couldn't be further from the truth.
She likes being around her humans, hanging out in the same space, and playing with them; she also loves to be petted! However, she does not enjoy being picked up, and is not a cuddly cat that enjoys spending time on lots of laps. She prefers for her paws to be on the ground. She comes up to say hello and ask for pets in her own time. She will need ample time and patience to adjust to a new home. Jolly's favorite hobby is going out on the deck to smell the fresh air, watch the birds and bunnies, and catch some bugs! She really enjoys lounging in the sun in her favorite chair out there! She also absolutely loves the other cats in the house and frequently seeks them out to hang out with them and to ask for kisses. Jolly's daily routine includes eating 3 meals a day, getting some exercise, playing with her kitty friends, and lounging in the sun. She could stand to lose a small bit of weight, therefore it would be ideal that she be fed scheduled meals and regular exercise. She likes to steal food from her friends whenever she gets a chance. This sweet lady currently lives in a house with 3 adult humans and 4 cats. She hasn't met a dog, but may do okay with a calm and respectful cat savvy doggo. She hasn't met any children, but because she prefers to be handled on her own terms, would probably prefer a home with older kids, if any. Jolly's ideal home would be a quiet and stable home with no young children. Because of the confidence and companionship that her cat friends provide her, she will either need to go to a home with existing cats, or be adopted with at least one other cat. This lovely lady would also love to be able to go out on an enclosed porch or patio for some safe outdoor time, where she can watch the birds and bugs!

Chaucer and Donne, (Bonded Pair), Male
Domestic Short/Longhair, 2 years
Chaucer and Donne are 2-year-old playful bonded boys looking for their forever home! Chaucer is reserved at first, but he eventually opens up and becomes an affectionate, chatty, playful boy with the greatest tail swishes ever. Donne is the strong, silent type. He's calm, unless he's playing, and just needs to make sure his brother is safe and happy.
These two love to play!! The are excited to play tag and will immediately go after any catnip toy within sight! They will snuggle and groom each other in the chair by the window. And they sure come running when they hear the treat tub! These sweet guys are very energetic; they play and wrestle constantly. This dynamic duo currently lives with 1 adult and 2 older kids. At a previous home, they lived with 5 other cats. Chaucer and Donne would do best in an active home with room to play and younger animals that can put up with their rambunctiousness. These fun boys are social and great with everyone. They will need slow introductions for new dogs and cats, but they're extremely accepting. They also do well with older kids. These adorable boys will be thrilled to find their forever family. Chaucer needs more time to adjust than Donne, but they are both such lovely guys. If you’d like to add some classically fun cats to your lively home this fall, please consider meeting the wonderful Chaucer and Donne! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Boots (Hospice), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 10 years
Boots is a super sweet, nearly 10-year-old cat looking for a human (or couple) to love and spend her remaining days with. She is an affectionate sweetheart who will lie down right by your head and knead your chest and neck. (She is always happiest being on or her human and enjoys snuggling under blankets.)
She is fine with being at the vet but is not a fan of the carrier. Occasionally, Boots will have a spicy moment if you do something she doesn’t like, and will bat or gently nip in protest, but she will never hurt anyone. This beautiful senior lady has stage 3 kidney disease, as well as the cat equivalent of breast cancer. Therefore, she is considered a hospice kitty. This sweet lady will need loving care to keep her comfortable during her kitty hospice. Boots spends a significant portion of the day sleeping under a blanket. She will come out periodically as she wants to, to get love from a human. She is free-fed and gets fresh wet food (unlimited, with Miralax added) 4 times a day. Every other day, she gets a liquid med (Prednisolone) and subcutaneous fluids every other day. Boots currently lives in a foster home with a couple and one other cat. Her ideal home is a kind, calm, relaxed environment, with humans with no other animals or children, who can give her as much love as possible before she crosses the rainbow bridge. This sweet lady deserves to live out her days surrounded by attention, care, and kindness. Can you gently walk beside her on her journey?

Scrabble, Female
Domestic Longhair, 4 year old
Scrabble is sassy 4-year-old, long-haired lady looking for her forever home. She is a retired mama who is done raising her kittens and is ready for the easy life with plenty of toys and treats!
Scrabble is fearless and outgoing from the first time she meets you. She isn’t much of a cuddler but likes to be near people. This stripey gal often likes to sit on the couch or the floor near you while you watch TV, but she’s not typically going to get in your lap (unless you have a Churu). She goes nuts for almost any kind of toy but particularly loves balls or springs to bat around on the ground. She is super happy to entertain herself with her toys or birdwatching out the window; she also loves giving herself a manicure by scratching, so it’s a good idea to have a couple of scratching posts or pads for her. Scrabble can be a bit mouthy when she is in the middle of playing, similar to the way kittens can be a bit nippy—it's not malicious and does not hurt. Scrabble loves food both wet and dry; she might benefit from something like an automatic or timed feeder, so she doesn’t bug her humans too much when she is hungry. Besides mealtime, she is a very tidy kitty and takes very good care of her long soft fur; her forever humans will need to brush her regularly to help her keep her lovely coat in tip-top shape. Scrabble uses the litter box very well. Scrabble truly enjoys being in the mix of household activities. She is fairly high energy for an adult cat and is always happy to be playing. Her other main priority is making sure she gets her breakfast and dinner on time! Scrabble lives with two adults in a quiet home with several other older cats. Her high energy can be off-putting to the other cats (she loves playing amped up games of chase, and they aren’t always into it), so she primarily lives separately from them in her foster home. Scrabble does not seem to mind life as a solo kitty however, because it means more attention from you. She is very outgoing and would do well in a variety of households, as long as her people were around a lot to give her the affection she seeks. Since she can get nippy when playing, she may not be a best fit for young kids. She would be better with older kids and is currently unknown regarding dogs. Scrabble has an upcoming dental appointment on 12/3, so will not be able to be adopted until after that (and potentially a bit later, factoring in any follow up or recovery time). This energetic, adorable gal is so ready to live the good life in a cozy, loving home that can support her vibrant personality and give her the care, attention and company she enjoys. After all, who doesn’t love a good game of Scrabble?

Meowgi, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1 years
Meowgli is a sweet, reserved, 1-year-old female cat looking for her forever home! She loves attention once she warms up to you and finds her safe space. This exotically beautiful silver girl will roll over and over, purring and expressing love for having her head and cheeks pet and her belly rubbed.
It does take time for her to warm up to people and she does not like being held. She loves wrestling with other cats and receiving pets of all kinds. This pretty lady currently lives with 4 other cats and two humans. She gets along so well with the resident cats; her personality has truly bloomed since she started spending time with them. Her forever home should also have a gentle feline friend or two for her to bond with as she gains confidence. (No children or dogs, please.) Meowgli would do fine in a small apartment or home with people who will be patient with her and offer her lots of treats to help her build trust; she would do best with a dedicated space for a prolonged decompression where she can become comfortable and confident with the sounds and smells of her new space. Her forever people should be compassionate, loving, and patient—ready to allow her to slowly warm up to them at her own pace. Meowgli has been through a lot and is ready to enjoy the calm, cozy indoor life she so richly deserves. She is an incredibly loving cat who just needs a chance. Could that be with you? Evy, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 7 years
Evy is a 7-year-old sweet cat looking for her forever home! This sweet floofy gal loves to chill all day. She'll find a warm or fuzzy spot and sleep the day away...until you bring out a wand toy. Then she's all swats and jumps.
She's also likely to rest on your stomach if you're lying down, or on your lap if you're sitting down. Ever the companion, if you talk to her, she'll meow right back! Evy has a medium energy level. She can get really excited about toys but otherwise she does her own thing. She'll give you a meow if she's bored, but a couple minutes of playtime calms her right back down. She can get sassy as she has particular ways, but once you learn her quirks, it's easy street. She enjoys pets and getting all the attention! This lovely lady currently lives in a quiet apartment with one human. Her ideal home is one where she doesn’t have to share the spotlight—multiple loving humans are fine, but she would do best in a home without small children or other pets. As a bit of a fluffy girl currently on a journey toward her ideal weight, Evy has a bit of trouble grooming her rear. She's on a new diet so as she's losing weight, she'll gain the flexibility to groom her backside easily. Right now, she just needs a little extra help with a pet wipe every other day. Evy is a lovely cat ready to settle in and be someone’s best companion—she's just a sweet cat looking for a new place to chill and be doted on. Could that be with you?

Finnegan, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Hi! My name is Finn and I am a sweet, snuggly and playful 3-year-old cat looking for my forever home!
I’ve spent time at a couple different foster homes since I was found in a crate outside the vet clinic. It’s guessed that I may have been out there for a day or two so I have some unpleasant memories I’d like to put behind me from that time. In a perfect world, you will be my final owner! As I have changed homes many times in my life, I can be more reserved when entering a new environment and may take a little bit of time to establish trust and show my cute little face; but once I start getting comfortable, my playful, curious and snuggly personality will come out. Some of my favorite things to do include checking out my new environment and getting to know all the nooks and crannies in it, especially high up perches! Once I get really comfortable, you can often find me sprinting around the house, showing off my athletic capabilities. I really enjoy playing with toys that I can pounce on/bat/chase, as well as watching the world go by through the windows. I am quite the snuggler and in an ideal world, I would love for my humans to be available frequently for my snuggly tendencies, especially in the evening, but even more so at night. At night, you’ll find me sharing your bed so we can snuggle all night, too. I do have a couple of quirks that you should know about me. First, while I like being scratched, sometimes I get a little sensitive and overstimulated by a lot of touching. I enjoy being scratched on the head but do not really enjoy being touched anywhere else on my body. When I get overstimulated by touch, my tendency is to whip my tail around, and give a nip if the action keeps occurring. It doesn’t hurt, and I promise I’m not trying to hurt you, I just haven’t quite figured out another way to communicate. It is important to pay attention to my body language and give me space when I am not in the mood to be pet, as well as disengaging with me if I ever do nip to discourage this behavior. There are also times where I see my human’s hands as a toy, so it is important to use actual toys in those cases instead. It is not known if I have ever lived with any other animals, so the best assumption is that I would be a great solo cat! And because of my overstimulated nipping, I would prefer to live with older children who know how to respect my space when I request it. At the end of the day, all I crave is having a safe space to be the best cat I can be. If you can play with me, give me love and attention, respect my body language, and provide me with this space, I will enjoy staying with you very much and will make a very loyal, playful and loving companion! --- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. Butterball and Baby Turnip, Males
Domestic Shorthair, 1.5 years
Butterball (tabby, 2 years and 9 months) and Baby Turnip (white/tabby, 1 year and 9 months) are two reserved, handsome goofballs looking for their forever home! This quiet bonded pair is learning to trust their people, gain confidence, and enjoy the cozy indoor life.
When these two came into our care they were super shut down and wouldn't let anyone touch them. In the time they have been in foster care, they have made leaps and bounds socially! At this point Butterball loves attention. While he is still skittish around any quick movements he will let his humans pet him. If he ever feels uncomfortable he will simply leave. Butterball loves to lay on the couch and absolutely adores lazy mornings in bed. Turnip prefers to be left alone but he can usually be found lounging close by. Butterball and Turnip are SOOO bonded and love to wrestle and then curl up together for a nap. Both cats have relatively low energy but they do get random bursts of zoomies. Turnip doesn't usually play with his humans but loves to bat toys around the floor by himself. Butterball doesn't usually care to play with toys and would rather get pets. Butterball and Baby Turnip currently live with one human and no other pets in an apartment. These sweeties would thrive in a quiet and predictable home with engaged, compassionate humans who are willing to give them the time they need to learn to trust and love while settling into the joys of a warm, safe, loving home. This will look like giving them space when they need it and helping them build up to gentle pets and affection. These lovely boys do well with other gentle cats and children over 12; they have not met any dogs to date. It takes a special soul to help cats that have had a challenging start in life learn that humans are good and can be a source of love, affection, and care, but the results are worth it. Butterball and Baby Turnip are so ready to go on this journey with the right people. Could that be with you? ------ Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Raja, Female
Domestic Medium Hair, 7 years
This 8-year-old medium-haired fluffer is as regal as her name, which means "King" in Hindi. True to her title, Raja loves being treated like royalty and knows how to command a household with her charming yet independent personality. Her stunning coat adds to her majestic aura, and don’t forget about her adorable toe beans—they’re as cute as they are paw-sitively perfect!
Raja is a low-energy kitty who enjoys the finer things in life, like lounging on her cat tree, basking in sunny spots, and keeping an eye on the resident squirrels through the window. She’s a playful fluffer at heart, entertaining herself with toys (and occasionally losing them under furniture). Raja can be quite the chatterbox and will let you know when she needs something, but her appreciation for your efforts is always clear. This queen prefers a calm, structured home where her boundaries are respected. She’s skittish around new people and large gatherings, so a quiet environment without young kids is necessary. She hasn't met any other cats or dogs yet, but may be open to them with the right introduction. While Raja isn’t a fan of being picked up, she loves gentle affection on her terms and enjoys exploring her space. Her ideal family will be patient, understanding, and willing to accommodate her routine. Raja has some special needs that require a little extra care—she has arthritis that is managed with monthly injections and occasional ear issues that are easily treated with provided medication. She gets nervous when left alone for long periods, so a family that’s around often or can provide consistent companionship is ideal. Trips to the vet stress her out, so she needs a dose of gabapentin before visits to keep her calm. Otherwise, her only other health consideration is that she has not been declawed while in our care. If you’re looking for a sophisticated, loyal, and occasionally sassy companion to brighten your days, Raja is ready to rule your heart and home. Apply to meet this royal kitty today—she’s sure to make your life paws-itively amazing!

Dodger, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 Year
Dodger is a 1-year-old, spunky boy looking for his forever home! He's a super goofy guy. Most of the time, this sweetheart looks surprised at everything going on around him, as if it's the first time he's ever seen it. But he’s very brave, and charges head on into everything! This fun dude adores his cardboard scratcher, watching the birds by the window, and then napping on ""his"" blanket.
This fun dude adores his cardboard scratcher, watching the birds by the window, and then napping on ""his"" blanket. Dodger also loves playing with his foster brother Copper. He can go at it for quite a while and gets super into their games! He has an affinity for catnip toys and will tear them apart if they are not durable enough, or if he gets a hold of them for too long. Dodger especially enjoys interactive toys like the sticks with a string and a feather attached to them. So long as Dodger has enough space to run back and forth, he'll take advantage of it! He's more active in the morning, and evenings; if he gets at least an of hour or so of active playing time a day, he's happy and content. When he’s not zooming, he loves to just wander around the house and explore! Dodger has bowed legs, that I was told were from a spinal injury he sustained as a young kitten. He is fully healed, but he still has some sensitivity on the sides of the small of his back, so his forever humans will have to be mindful and extra gentle when touching him there. He is completely mobile, other than a small little skip to his step; however, he will probably require steps to get onto elevated places like higher beds or perching spots. His future family should be okay with providing these to help him live his best explorer life! This sweet boy is currently staying with 2 adults and 2 other fixed male cats in a single-family house. An ideal home for Dodger would be with at least one other active, friendly pet (cat or dog) to bond and play with. He warms up well to other cats, and although he was a bit uncertain with the small dog he encountered, he was curious and not aggressive. Kids would be great, too! He is a social guy who loves to be loved and would do wonderfully well in a family home with people who are around a lot, where he can get lots of pets and attention from everyone. He also needs to be an indoor-only cat as he is scared of the outside and had some bad experiences there during his pre-rescue days. It’s exclusively the safe and cozy inside life for him, please! Dodger is a fun, silly boy who is so ready to give all the love and laughs to his forever family. If you’re ready to hit a home run with a real champion of a cat, please come visit Dodger today! Nutter Butter, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years
Nutter Butter is a two-year old sweet, affectionate, high energy orange boy, covered in handsomeness, who is looking for his forever home.
This handsome fellow is a long and lanky dude who loves curling up on your lap. He can do this for hours. When Nutter is scratched behind his ears or cheeks, he immediately tightly closes his eyes and revels in the love. He is also a guy who just likes to have fun. Nutter has never met a spring, toy mouse, or feather wand that he doesn't like. He loves chasing small toys and will sometimes bring them back to you to continue the game. But he can also self-entertain when needed. If you like company when brushing your teeth, he will always be there to support you. Nutter will do some roaming during the night, but he loves to start bedtime by stretching out on your chest. By the time morning comes along, he will likely be curled up next to you or occasionally under the comforter. Nutter's daily routine includes equal parts of cat naps, playing with toys, and asking for affection and attention. If he is disappointed when you've had enough playtime, he will gently put a paw on your leg to say, "don't go!" Nutter currently lives with two adults and two small dogs. The three animals coexist quite peacefully for the most part, but the dogs are pretty chill. Nutter tries to engage them, but they aren't very interested. Nutter needs a younger feline friend who enjoys playing but isn't a bully. He would love one feline playmate but probably not any more. He can shut down with too much activity in the house. Nutter would love to have a four-legged pal to play with and hang out. He's lived with cats in the past but prefers a quieter environment. As much as he'd like a friend, he would probably do better with fewer animals than a houseful. He's been exposed to children from 3-10 and has done well with them. If someone is willing to throw his toys to engage him, he doesn't care how old they are! Because he will sometimes raise a paw to keep your attention, he'd have to be supervised with young children. Nutter currently lives in a large home in the country. He has plenty of room to roam the house and he especially enjoys watching the small animals and birds in the yard. He also spends some time in a townhome in the city and has adapted well. It didn't take him long to find the best windows for animal-watching. While Nutter is a master napper, he needs attention and affection on a regular basis. He is equally happy to receive attention from men or women. Nutter is a master user of the litter box. It took Nutter about two seconds to climb into our hearts. He's a love and would be a wonderful cat for people who may not have a lot of cat experience. If you work from home or are around frequently and enjoy cat playtime (and perhaps have another calm furry friend at home?), please consider adding the lovely Nutter Butter to your family. Cuddles’ ideal home is a calm environment where she can feel safe and spend time together with her people. Humans who work from home or are around a lot are ideal. Yuumi, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 7 yrs
Yuumi is a 7-year-old, playful goofball looking for her forever home! She’s full of personality and affection, always wanting to be by your side.
While she enjoys her cat naps, Yuumi also has bursts of energy and loves to play. She'll happily chase after catnip toys and feather wands, claim the best window seat to watch squirrels and passing cars, and is also a skilled mouser. If she doesn’t get enough playtime, she might turn your feet into her next target! Once you become her person, she’ll spend many nights cuddled up next to you. Just be sure to keep an eye on your dinner plate—Yuumi is a sneaky food thief. Yuumi was found in a snowbank with severe frostbite, leading to nerve damage and her tail amputation. She has spent over a year recovering and adjusting to medications, proving to be one of the strongest, most resilient cats out there. She takes her meds like a champ and will shower you with love in return for your care. She is also slightly overweight and would benefit from a home where she can stay active. She thrives in a home where her humans are around often. When making friends, she also does well with older children (12+) who can respect her boundaries, as she can get overstimulated at times. Yuumi does not get along well with other cats and prefers to be the only cat in the home. What started out rough you might ask? Well, I was found with an abscess on my face, but don’t worry—I’m recovering just fine, thanks to some great vet care and some good old fashioned TLC. I’ll admit, I’m a bit shy at first—kind of like when Doc first fired up the DeLorean—but if you give me some gentle chin and head scratches, I’ll warm up to you faster than you can say ""flux capacitor!"" Once I trust you, I’ll be your loyal companion, quietly observing the world around me (with just a hint of curiosity, like any good time traveler should). I’m curious, relaxed, and quiet, but once I’m attached to you (my favorite things, treats and food, work wonders!), I’ll be super-affectionate and cuddly. I currently live with my loving foster human in a one-bedroom apartment. Although I’m a bit reserved, I love to be around the action. I would do best with someone who works from home and is around a lot, or with another gentle, cuddly cat friend to keep me company. (I haven’t met any dogs or children yet.) So, if you’re looking to make history with a quiet, loving cat who’s ready for a second chance, hop in the DeLorean and give me a shot. I promise I’m worth the ride. Just be sure to bring some treats along for the journey, and we’ll be the perfect pair—no time circuits needed. I can’t wait to meet you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Snoopy (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1-2 years old
Snoopy is a 1-1/2-year-old, playful and snuggly kitty looking for his forever home! This sweet guy is very dog-like, in that he prefers to spend time with the people who care for him and will find his own private space to hunker down when faced with the unknown.
He is a short and stocky little guy who loves cat nip toys and springs! He enjoys following you around and loves to sprawl all over you. This handsome fellow enjoys cat tunnels and cat towers and is always ready to savor some window time in the sun. Snoopy is pretty chill. He plays for a while and then wants to just be on you, getting all the attention and keeping you company. He currently lives with one adult and my 14-year-old son in a house; he has his own space where he is kept separate from the resident cats. Snoopy doesn’t like to be alone, so would thrive with a forever human who works from home or is retired. He needs to be the only cat and live in a calm, quieter house. Snoopy only takes a short time to trust, provided his people can help him feel secure and confident in his new home. If you’d like to give this adorable boy the relaxed safe haven he is seeking, please consider adding Snoopy to your family. Snoopy is also FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. Smokey, Male
Domestic Mediumhair, 18 years old
Smokey (18 years old) is looking for a cuddle partner(s) as he lives out his golden years. He takes a few days to get comfortable around the house, but after that he’s your shadow and wants to be near you always. Don’t let his age turn you away; he has lots of love and snuggles left to give!
Smokey is calm around other cats and dogs; he’s not particularly snuggly with them, but he is also good with sharing space. He has not been with children, but I cannot imagine he would be any different with them. When he isn’t eating his favorite food (preference for Friskies wet food), or sleeping, this handsome fellow is thoughtfully assisting you in anything and everything you do. He doesn’t love to be picked up, but he more than make up for it in snuggles. Smokey enjoys finding elevated areas to look out the windows and keep an eye on everything outside. He takes a bit more time to be comfortable outside his designated area, but once he knows he’s safe he wants to be your protector and partner. He’s particularly curious about the shower but wisely continues to sit outside it while you get ready. And lately, he almost exclusively drinks from the bathroom tap now that he’s learned how to get on the sink. Smokey is part Maine Coon and has 6 toes on each front paw; this gives him some extra pizzazz and makes it look like he’s constantly wearing mittens! This dignified gentleman has kidney disease and arthritis, (which only bothers him if he doesn’t get it treated regularly for pain management), but he’s still young at heart and enjoys playing at least once a day. His forever people should be committed to keeping him on his arthritis meds and monitoring his kidney function and water intake, but both are easy to do. He’s such a gentle soul. This fluffy guy crawls in my lap and helps me work throughout the day and sleeps with me in bed at night. When he wants attention, he will very gently paw at your face. He is a bit mischievous and occasionally plays with my hair or necklaces, bites cords, or tries to open doors he knows he shouldn’t, but (mostly) listens when I tell him to stop. In short, he is a lovely gentleman who will thrive in a calm home with loving people who work from home or are around a lot to give him the care and attention he deserves. Senior cats are so sweet, and deserve the very best. Please consider adding Smokey to your family! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Princess and Nana Pudding (FIV+, Bonded Pair), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 8 months old
Nanna Pudding and Princess are 8-month-old divas (in the best way) looking for their forever homes! These gals are sisters and are deeply bonded. They lack life experience and as such can be a bit shy and reserved upon initially meeting a new human, but they warm up quickly.
Both girls are friendly, love cuddling and playing. They particularly enjoy cuddling and playing with each other. Once they become comfortable, they are pretty easy-going cats who have embraced the comforts of indoor home life. As you'll notice, Nana Pudding only has one eye. Due to an issue with her left eye, she underwent eye removal surgery a couple weeks ago and is feeling much better without it. She is healing perfectly and is not fazed at all. Plus, we think she looks even cuter as a one eyed panther! Princess and Nana Pudding are currently living in a home with 5 other cats and two humans. They get along well with the other cats in the home, and due to their medium-energy level would thrive in either a house or apartment. They would love to have a human or humans who are around on a regular basis. They haven’t yet met a dog, and would prefer to live with children over the age of 12 due to their initial skittish behavior. Princess and Nana Pudding are both FIV+, but that doesn’t mean they can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. Boca Chica, Female
Domestic Mediumhair, 5 years old
Boca Chica is a 5-year-old bombshell tortie looking for her forever home! This beautiful, woolly bear CAT-erpillar is a very laid-back girl. She spends most of the day watching over the neighborhood or snoozing in one of her favorite spots (on top of the bed, under the dresser, or on her favorite cushion).
She spends the evenings and nights glued to her foster mom and playing with toys. At bedtime, she can be found sleeping next to her foster mom's face to keep an eye on her. Boca Chica is a pretty chill girl, but she has her spirited moments. She will bring you her favorite fish toy if she's in the mood to play, and will go crazy for her catnip banana, laser pointer, or scratcher. When she's not playing, she's content to zonk out next to you. She embodies the concept of ""work hard play hard!” Boca Chica lives with her sister Chi Chi, her foster mom, and three other young women in a house. She loves to explore the house and to get attention and belly rubs from her foster mom's roommates. She is a sociable girl but does occasionally get fed up with Chi Chi's high energy! Boca Chica would thrive in a home with her sister Chi Chi or another cat who respects her boundaries. She will very politely communicate her boundaries to adults through a firm paw or gently putting her mouth on your hand, so she would do best with older children or adults who are familiar with cats and their body language. Given her past ownership, she would do best with a family that is not out of the home for more than a night. She will thrive with people who are around frequently to give her the love and affection she deserves. Her forever humans will also need to take part in her at-home spaw days—this fluffy supermodel requires frequent, thorough brushing to prevent hairballs and matting of her gorgeous tortie fur. Both she and Chi Chi came from a stressful pre-rescue situation, and are so ready to enjoy the pampered, cozy indoor life with loving, patient humans. If you’d like to brush, snuggle with, and hang out with a lovely, loyal gal, consider adding Boca Chica to your family. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Midnight and Snickers (Bonded Pair), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 12 and 8 years old
Midnight (12) and Snickers (8) are a bonded bundle of Yin and Yang and a whole lot of character and sweetness!
Midnight, the extrovert with emerald eyes, might as well be named Shadow for he travels wherever his foster goes, telling stories and sharing opinions. His favorite tales begin with “mop, mop” and often end with a “maah?” that sounds like he’s asking a question. A very confident fella, he readily inserts himself into the middle of the action, the middle of Zoom meetings, and anywhere his foster family sits. Snickers, the introvert, approaches life with inquisitive caution. He warms slowly but loves deeply. While he enjoys a good brushing, wriggling and rolling to the touch, he returns the favor by grooming his human, using his front paw to gently hold his foster’s hand. For all his quiet moments, Snickers is also playful and chatty. The Cat Dancer is his favorite play-together toy. When alone, he’ll bat stuffed mice and poms, chasing them down the hall, providing commentary as he follows. The two siblings often curl together when snoozing or sit side by side watching wildlife out the window. Both love to follow the sunbeams as they move across the windows. Midnight is a counter surfer, and his foster humans have learned to keep anything edible out of his reach. Snickers and Midnight like to sample the houseplants, so their new home needs to be free of all toxic plants—cat-safe plants or fake plants only, please! Snickers is in good health. He recently had his teeth cleaned and three teeth pulled. Midnight has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and irritable bowel disease, both of which have been managed well with medication. When he’s hungry, his pills can be cut into small pieces and hidden in food. Although he doesn’t love having his mouth pried open to be given a pill, he doesn’t hold a grudge. He gladly accepts a kiss on the nose and a big hug after. His forever family will have to be dedicated to helping him live his best healthy life going forward. The pair currently eat Fancy Feast pate and Purina One Urinary—the foods they were eating when they came to into fostering. We have not tried alternate diets yet, as we were waiting to be sure the medications were working before switching foods. These cutie pies live in an empty nest foster home comprised of 2 adults. They would do well in a quiet home whose people have experience caring for cautious cats and those with medical needs. Both are comfortable with the resident dog who is respectful of his feline friends. This pair is sweet, affectionate, and so ready to find a loving, forever home. Could that be with you? Buddy, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years old
Buddy is a 2-year-old, smart, cuddly, energetic sweetie looking for his forever home! Buddy has a ton of energy, is very curious, and LOVES human attention (extra emphasis on love). He'll play with just about anything, including various cat toys, brooms, and shoelaces.
He is friendly and outgoing when meeting new people for the first time and is eager to receive the same love and affection that he shows everybody else. He finds his own quiet space for a nap while his humans work from home, but as soon as a lap is available, he’s ready to purr and get some cuddles. Buddy is extremely chatty and has a lot of funny and interesting vocalizations, especially as he watches the birds outside. His main hobby, though, is playing with his cat toys, especially a worm wand toy that he proudly carries around in his mouth after hunting his prey. He also spends time plotting how to get into closets and cupboards. We'll warn you again how darn smart this boy is! Buddy currently lives with two humans in a house. We think this handsome fellow will do well with a person or family who's willing and able to spend time interacting with him and playing with him, possibly including another cat. While his current fosters were on vacation, Buddy stayed with another foster who has several resident cats, and he got along extremely well with them after just a few days. He has been around kids and was sweet, patient, and not afraid of them. We have not observed him around dogs, but because he’s so confident in new situations, our hunch is that he'd be great with a dog who is used to cats. This adorable guy has a lot of energy, curiosity, and intelligence that needs to be channeled into fun enrichment activities. His love bucket overflows when his humans pay him lots of attention, so it is imperative that he end up in a forever home with humans who are specifically looking for a lively companion, a nap-with-me-on-the-couch cat, and a follow-me-around-the-house cat. So, if you're home a lot and are ready to dedicate some time to loving up on sweet Buddy, he's ready to return all that love and more! --- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Ginger and Madden (Bonded Pair), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 3 and 4 years old
Dockside Duo looking for their forever port! Ginger (4) and Madden (3) are two resilient feline females who traded life under a Minnesota dock for the comfort of indoor living. They may not be kittens, but they’ve got the charm, mystery, and companionship thing down to an art.
Ginger (the social butterfly) – Loves to be near her people, supervising from a cozy spot. She’s all about companionship but kindly requests a no-carry policy. She loves food and is easily trained due to her Churu addiction. She finds toys of her own--no need to buy cat toys; she prefers paperclips, unwrapping cough drops, and finding things to most standard cat toys! She provides house tours to buddy Madden and has been teaching Madden how to play and explore. Madden (the independent thinker) – Enjoys lounging nearby, watching the world go by, but prefers admiration from a respectful distance. She will play on her own, tussle with Ginger, and take treats from you but no petting please. She is a quiet watcher and is making huge strides in being an active part of the family. Both cats play in the morning and then need to relax and recover! They love to lounge on a favorite chair and then have a short explore. Ginger is happy to help you exercise as long as it doesn't take too long. They are tidy and like a clean litter box. These two self-entertain well and are fine left on their own while you go to work. Ginger will greet you and want scratches when you get home. Madden will watch carefully to see if something interesting is going to happen! These two best buds moved into a quieter home after they didn't thrive in the busy rescue center. They live with three adults and no other pets. Ginger and Madden need stability and time to get to know their forever family. An all-adult household would be great as would one with an older child who can speak cat patience. Ginger is likely to hide initially but will find it very hard to resist a good snack. Madden is coming out of her shell and enjoying toys that she can play with but not need to have you involved. Right now, she requests her special chair, her upside-down dog bed and Ginger to show her around. While they are fine being left alone for the day, they do like to see their humans and love to follow you to see what is happening. These beauties are easy keepers. They are quiet companions who self-entertain. They don't need a lot of space--just good nap areas. They do need medication for traveling to the vet, as they aren’t big fans of carriers or transport. Together, they’re the ultimate low-maintenance, high-reward duo—quiet, clean, and endlessly entertaining each other. If you’re looking for a pair of independent yet affectionate feline roommates who won’t demand much but will fill your home with quirky charm, these two are ready to drop anchor with you! Scarlet and Koda (Bonded Pair), Female and Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year old and 6 months old
Scarlet is a 1-year-old, motherly tabby cat who is bonded with Koda, her 6-month-old tuxedo boy; both of these sweeties are looking for their forever home!
Scarlet is the shy one, but after a week getting settled in, she opens up to you and will jump out to greet you when you come home. Koda is the confident, playful one, behaving almost like a dog because he enjoys playing fetch with his favorite toy. After getting plenty of sleep, this duo enjoy starting their day exploring the home to see what's new and to play with their human and a wand toy. After getting that out of their system, they find a window to look out of and then curl up for a cozy nap together. These adorable bffs have a low to medium energy level; Koda actively looks to run around and burn up his active kitten energy, while Scarlet usually enjoys watching from the sidelines and occasionally joins in to play. This dynamic duo currently lives with two adults in a single-family home. They get along well with other cats and gentle, cat-savvy older kids (no dogs, please). They would thrive in a home that offers a good daily combination of alone time and fun playtime with their humans. If you’d like to add a loving, fun, gentle pair to your family, Scarlet and Koda would love to meet you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Mama Lambie, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1-2 years old
Mama Lambie is a 1 1/2 year-old curious, active, young girl who is looking for her forever home! This lovely lady did a great job raising her family and is now taking advantage of no longer having to care for kittens—she's ready for some me-time.
Mama Lambie may be a bit quiet and reserved at first but once she gets comfortable, she is a full-on kitten who loves constant attention and affection. She enjoys her cardio, so you’ll often find her running around doing zoomies, playing with the feather-on-the-stick toy, and chasing after balls. Chin scratches are Mama L.’s favorite and she rolls around for brushing and cat nip. She happily gobbles up squeezable treats and can be won over quickly by using them. Mama Lambie doesn't love being picked up but tolerates being moved a couple feet. She can be vocal when wanting attention and may do best in a home without shared walls. Mama Lambie currently has her own room where she loves the tall cat trees in front of the open windows. It is full of fun toys and has many areas to perch. This lovely lady enjoys checking out the neighborhood, so would thrive with a home with a window seat or cat climber to let her see the world. She would also love a home where she has room to run and roam with humans who are around a lot to play and interact with her often. This sweet girl does well with respectful, older children who understand basic cat behaviors, including avoidance. She is slowly being introduced to other adult cats and to small dogs and may need a longer than normal introduction period. She may not do well with large dogs given her history prior to coming into Pet Haven's care, unless the large dog is quite uninterested in any interaction. Mama Lambie has done a wonderful job with her children and is now ready to be the center of someone’s world herself. Could that be with you? There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Gregory, Male
Domestic Mediumhair, 5 years old
Gregory is an attention-loving, cute little 5-year-old guy who is looking for a forever home! This guy is a tiny cat in body and spirit; he's quite reserved at first but is anxious to get to know and love you.
Gregory appreciates his daily nap time and the space to explore around the house at night. But he also adores getting up close and personal during a snuggle! He is a low-energy cat who appreciates quiet enrichment. He would enjoy a home with views of an active neighborhood or backyard, but he prefers to stay away from the direct action; this guy loves the cozy indoor life. This lovely boy currently lives with two humans and a dog. He would thrive in a home as the only animal, the apple of your eye. He could also share a space with other mellow animals, but a long introduction process is needed to help him feel comfortable and safe. Animals with high energy can be intimidating to this little guy! Gregory is very loving toward everyone (including other calm pets), but he is still working through his fears of quick movements and loud noises. Potential adopters should know that he appreciates patience and a family who is willing to wait for him to come out of his shell. Once he does, you won't be disappointed! Peanut Butter and Scooter Magoo (Bonded Pair), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 5-6 months old
Scooter (“Scoots”) is a 5-month-old purr-bug looking for his forever home with his bonded cutie pie brother Peanut Butter (also 5 months). These adorable sweeties sadly lost their mother at two weeks old.
Peanut Butter is a special little Munchkin. He was born the smallest of his litter and developed differently than other kitties. Peanut Butter was born missing the normal anatomy of either female or male cats! This means Peanut Butter is what we call intersex, and upon surgical evaluation, no reproductive organs were able to be identified. PB has no idea either way and is just the sweetest kitten. We recommend Pb have regular vet visits and exams to ensure that they are growing well and have no further complications from their intersex condition. His foster has been calling PB a “he,” but I am sure “s/he or they” would be just fine with Peanut Butter. Peanut Butter is adorable—he looks more baby-like and likely always will. He has a stout body, a short bent tail, and is very bow-legged. His forever humans will need to be committed to helping him continue to live his best, healthy life by making sure he gets plenty of water, frequently cleaned litter boxes (I use clumping sand), and all the rest he needs. Peanut Butter and Scooter both are active kitties who love the tunnels, and many toys. They are both instant purr-ers who love to snuggle up on the couch with each other and with their person, or another household kitty. Jumping and scrambling to grab the feathered wand is a huge hit, but they are just as happy in a box, rummaging in a paper bag or chasing a tin foil ball. Peanut Butter can be immediately engaged when the feathered wand comes out, (as can all the kitties) he carries it around the house and can tear across the floor with the best of them to get at that curious feathered end. Scooter is especially curious, and sometimes talkative—he is very responsive to his people. In contrast to his more curious brother, Peanut Butter is often hunkered down in the sitting chicken position on a rug in the sun—this guy just moves a little slower. PB can get underfoot as he doesn’t respond as Scooter does if a human stands or moves too close. Anyone lucky enough to adopt these two will need to always be aware of PB’S whereabouts, to avoid stepping on him. (This is especially true during high-traffic moments like feeding time.) Both boys are very sweet, easy kittens to have around, adaptable to whatever routine the human sets. Scooter must have a bit of puppy in him as he carries his beloved plastic spring toys in his mouth around the house, brings them to me to throw across the room, and retrieves them over and over. Scooter can also be an observer, but he is an active guy—he loves running about, playing with another kitten in the house, or by himself. This guy is a happy kitten. They both get a lot of exercise in this household. Peanut Butter loves to get into bed with me, under the down comforter, cuddle close, and sleep. He also loves his furry donut, and his cozy cave. Both boys also enjoy climbing on the tall cat tree, scratching the sisal post, and ambushing each other. The boys also love staring out the window at the bird feeder watching their favorite show, “Goldfinch,” every day. These sweethearts are not shy; they easily engage new people and other animals. They have been living in a large home with an 85 pound, 9-year-old male golden doodle, one retired adult female human, and three female cats/kittens (aged 14 years, 15 months, and 7 months). They have access to several levels of the home, thus racing up and down staircases chasing each other to great enjoyment. I suspect if you asked them, they’d love a similar environment in their forever home. Peanut Butter and Scooter are used to a me being around a lot since I am retired. They play hard together but can happily go off to their own play, or rest at will. They enjoy having activity in the home, and especially love having their person pay attention to them and play with them. A retired or work-from-home person would be best! Due to some tough experiences in their original home with a “protection dog,” I do not recommend the boys go to a home with a rowdy or aggressive dog—but a calm, gentle canine friend would likely be well accepted. Because Peanut Butter is a unique being, and needs more attention due to his special qualities, only experienced cat person(s) would be the best fit for these little loves. These sweethearts had a very hard start for such young boys, but they have thrived in their cozy, affectionate foster home, and would love to continue their peaceful journey with the right patient, compassionate, cat-savvy humans. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.
