His whole being radiates a pure, wild sweetness, flitting through night woods with little melodious cries, on some cryptic errand. There is also an aura of doom and sadness about this trusting little creature. He has been abandoned many times over the centuries." -  William S. Burroughs author of The Cat Inside

Vander (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Vander is a 3-year-old, loving and playful cat looking for his forever home! Vander enjoys spending time in his cat tree, sunbathing, and napping.
He's an athletic fellow who loves to climb and jump onto higher surfaces. He relishes the panoramic view and is a pro at keeping tabs on his humans from above. Vander is also very playful and can often be found rolling around in his cat tunnels, making his humans laugh and smile with his silly antics. If you can't find Vander up high in his cat tree, you’ll probably find him on a human’s lap, soaking up love and attention. Vander is FIV+, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj. Vander may have flare ups of colitis from time to time, but, the best way to keep this at bay is to keep him on the prescription diet he's on now.  If you are looking for a sweet, affectionate cat to add to you home then consider Vander!

Buddy, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years
Buddy is a 2-year-old, energetic sweetie looking for his forever home! Buddy has a ton of energy, is very curious, and loves human attention
He'll play with just about anything, including various cat toys, brooms, and shoelaces. He is friendly and outgoing when meeting new people for the first time. Buddy is extremely chatty and has a lot of funny and interesting vocalizations that make us laugh. He's also pretty persistent when he encounters something he isn't allowed to do, and he's very smart, so he'll need someone who's willing to take the time to divert his energy and train him consistently on the rules in his new home. Buddy is very affectionate, sleeping with or near his humans at night and curling up on our laps. Buddy loves to watch the birds outside our window and chatter at them. His main hobby, though, is playing with his cat toys, especially a worm wand toy that he proudly carries around in his mouth after hunting his prey. He has a very long attention span and will play for a long time. He also spends time plotting how to get into closets and cupboards. We play with him as often as we can, because he has a lot of energy and craves human interaction. That might involve throwing a ping-pong ball for him to chase, playing with his wand toy, or supervising him while he plays with feather toys. He sleeps through the night on a chair near the bed. Buddy has had several fosters (due to schedules), and all of his fosters have fallen head over heels in love with him because he's so friendly and loving. He currently lives with two humans in a house. We think this handsome fellow will do well with a person or family who's willing and able to spend time interacting with him and playing with him, possibly including another active cat. At one of his foster homes, he lived with three resident cats and got along extremely well with them after a very short time. He has been around kids and was sweet, patient, and didn't seem afraid of them at all. We have not observed him around dogs, but our hunch is that he'd be OK with a dog who is used to cats. This adorable guy has a lot of energy, curiosity, and intelligence that needs to be channeled into fun enrichment activities. He would thrive with people who are around a lot and would enjoy sharing his playtime shenanigans.

Leo (FIV+), Male
Domestic Long Hair, 4 years
Hello! I am Leo, a 4-year-old fluffy boy looking for my forever home. I am a big, silly boy with a ton of character and love to give! I am proud of my half moustache, puffy tail, and impressive size. I also have a special talent: lying down with both my arms and legs completely extended, showing off my dancer/gymnast form.
I love to follow my humans around the house to keep them company, but I will take occasional breaks for bird watching, closet naps, and playing with my toys. If you work from home, I will frequently greet your co-workers via webcam and give you lots of at-the-desk snuggles. I absolutely love to receive pets and will help you out by sticking my booty in the air and/or flopping on the ground to give you tummy access. Cold objects fascinate me so if you have a refrigerator that I can stick my head in occasionally, or a (screened) window you can open so I can feel the cool air, that will make me very happy. I use my litter box perfectly and always keep the area clean and I am a great eater who never begs for food or treats. When I go to new places and meet new people, I get nervous, so I will be asking for some personal space for the first few days. When I’m ready for you to come near, I’ll give you a chirp and some leg rubs to let you know that things are all good now. Because I had some siblings I didn’t get along with so well in my past house, it’s important that I have a home to myself, free of other animals and small children (gentle, cat-savvy tweens and teens would be okay). But please don’t worry! I am extremely patient, gentle, and loving with my humans as soon as I get to know you. Will you be my new family?

Jolly Tinseltoes, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year
Jolly is a 1 year old sweet kitty looking for her forever home! This sweet girl lived outside for a couple months, therefore she has a bit of a wild side and is more independent and reserved. Don't take that to mean that she doesn't like people, because that couldn't be further from the truth.
She likes being around her humans, hanging out in the same space, and playing with them; she also loves to be petted! However, she does not enjoy being picked up, and is not a cuddly cat that enjoys spending time on lots of laps. She prefers for her paws to be on the ground. She comes up to say hello and ask for pets in her own time. She will need ample time and patience to adjust to a new home. Jolly's favorite hobby is going out on the deck to smell the fresh air, watch the birds and bunnies, and catch some bugs! She really enjoys lounging in the sun in her favorite chair out there! She also absolutely loves the other cats in the house and frequently seeks them out to hang out with them and to ask for kisses. Jolly's daily routine includes eating 3 meals a day, getting some exercise, playing with her kitty friends, and lounging in the sun. She could stand to lose a small bit of weight, therefore it would be ideal that she be fed scheduled meals and regular exercise. She likes to steal food from her friends whenever she gets a chance. This sweet lady currently lives in a house with 3 adult humans and 4 cats. She hasn't met a dog, but may do okay with a calm and respectful cat savvy doggo. She hasn't met any children, but because she prefers to be handled on her own terms, would probably prefer a home with older kids, if any. Jolly's ideal home would be a quiet and stable home with no young children. Because of the confidence and companionship that her cat friends provide her, she will either need to go to a home with existing cats, or be adopted with at least one other cat. This lovely lady would also love to be able to go out on an enclosed porch or patio for some safe outdoor time, where she can watch the birds and bugs!

Charlie & Posy (Bonded Pair), Females
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year
Hello! We’re Charlie and Posy, a pair of one-and-a-half-year-old sisters on the hunt for our forever home. Do you remember the story of the 80 abandoned cats in Coon Rapids last year? We were part of that group. After experiencing that, we’ve decided that being loved by humans, being warm, and having regular mealtimes is the best way to live. We’re inseparable and hope to find a home together.
Our foster mom says we’re sweet, playful, and curious. We love trailing her around the house; wherever she goes, we follow. You’ll often find us perched on the cat tree, enjoying the view from above. We’re very playful and always ready for a game with a wand toy. Having lived with many other cats, we’re open to making new friends—whether they’re brothers or sisters, the more, the merrier! Our foster mom also notes that we’re enthusiastic eaters; although one of us has a sensitive tummy and is on a special diet, we never want to miss a meal. If you’re looking for a pair of fun-loving cats to join your family, we could be the perfect match! Apply below to come meet us. There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

April, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 15 years
April is a sweet 15-year-old feline who loves getting as many pets as possible! She is looking for her forever home to enjoy her golden years! This pretty girl is friendly, curious, and playful. She enjoys meeting new people and will ask for pets from anyone she meets
Sit down with an empty lap and April will be your BFF lap cat for as long as you sit still. Despite her age, she can still run, jump, climb, and play and would enjoy living in an active household with multiple people to give her love and attention. April lived with her kitty "sister" Phoebe until April 2023 when her elderly owner died suddenly. A family member and current foster adopted both April and Phoebe and they moved to their new home. However, the stress of losing their long-time owner and moving from the only home they knew made Phoebe very anxious and reactive. Phoebe started lashing out at April and she has not been able to adjust to sharing the new home with April. After months of trying to help them peacefully coexist, we know it's in April's best interest to help her find a home where she can flourish again. She adjusted easily to the move so we know she will be a wonderful addition! April is a great combination of affectionate and active, but not overly energetic or demanding. She would needs to be the only animal in the house as she prefers to soak up all of the human attention herself. She could do well with gentle cat-savvy children over 12-years-old. This little lady loves to eat and is on a prescription diet to help with some digestive upset. She eats out of slow feeders to help her food digest. Don't let the cost of prescription food dissuade you, though. April comes with a kitty trust fund! All supplies, food, and vet care will continue to be paid for by her foster, set up by her deceased owner, for the rest of her life. If you are looking for a fun, friendly, curious, loving, and playful senior cat to keep you company and warm your lap this winter, look no further! You won't regret welcoming this lover into your life!

Milo and Tigger (Bonded Pair), Males
Domestic Shorthair, 10 years and 2 years
Tigger and Milo are a 10-year-old bonded pair of best friends looking for their forever home! These boys would love to spend forever in a home with patient, affectionate humans who would enjoy playing with Tigger while helping Milo become more confident.
First, Tigger! He is curious, energetic and playful. This lovely tabby guy is outgoing and always up for pets--he loves it when anyone rubs or gently scratches his chin and back. Tigger expresses his happiness through licking with his rough tongue, and with occasional slight bites--although these can easily be redirected. Tigger is active and enjoys playing with toys; he is especially attracted to the ones with lights and sounds. Second is Milo. He is observant, calm and gentle. Milo is sweet and observant; he is content to stay in the corner watching others play. But this lovely panther also likes to climb--the cat tree is one of his favorite places to stay. Milo will come down when it is his idea--this cute guy is very self-disciplined and not easily motivated by toys and treats. Milo currently lives with his foster and his bonded friend Tigger in a cat-loving apartment. This handsome sleek dude eats two meals a day, in the late morning and early evening. He loves to stay in his favorite cozy places all the time, so he needs someone to chase him around (perhaps with his bff Tigger) to start exercising--or if you happen to have a cat running wheel, see if he'd like to give it a try. They are good with cats, would do well with cat-savvy kids, and are currently unknown with dogs.

Chaucer and Donne, (Bonded Pair), Male
Domestic Short/Longhair, 2 years
Chaucer and Donne are 2-year-old playful bonded boys looking for their forever home! Chaucer is reserved at first, but he eventually opens up and becomes an affectionate, chatty, playful boy with the greatest tail swishes ever. Donne is the strong, silent type. He's calm, unless he's playing, and just needs to make sure his brother is safe and happy.
These two love to play!! The are excited to play tag and will immediately go after any catnip toy within sight! They will snuggle and groom each other in the chair by the window. And they sure come running when they hear the treat tub! These sweet guys are very energetic; they play and wrestle constantly. This dynamic duo currently lives with 1 human, 1 small dog, and 5 other old lady cats. Chaucer and Donne would do best in an active home with room to play and younger animals that can put up with their rambunctiousness. These fun boys are social and great with everyone. They will need slow introductions for new dogs and cats, but they're extremely accepting. These adorable boys will be thrilled to find their forever family. Chaucer needs more time to adjust than Donne, but they are both such lovely guys. If you’d like to add some classically fun cats to your lively home this fall, please consider meeting the wonderful Chaucer and Donne!

Boots (Hospice), Female
Domestic Shorthair, 10 years
Boots is a super sweet, nearly 10-year-old cat looking for a human (or couple) to love and spend her remaining days with. She is an affectionate sweetheart who will lie down right by your head and knead your chest and neck. (She is always happiest being on or her human and enjoys snuggling under blankets.)
She is fine with being at the vet but is not a fan of the carrier. Occasionally, Boots will have a spicy moment if you do something she doesn’t like, and will bat or gently nip in protest, but she will never hurt anyone. This beautiful senior lady has stage 3 kidney disease, as well as the cat equivalent of breast cancer. Therefore, she is considered a hospice kitty. This sweet lady will need loving care to keep her comfortable during her kitty hospice. Boots spends a significant portion of the day sleeping under a blanket. She will come out periodically as she wants to, to get love from a human. She is free-fed and gets fresh wet food (unlimited, with Miralax added) 4 times a day. Every other day, she gets a liquid med (Prednisolone) and subcutaneous fluids every other day. Boots currently lives in a foster home with a couple and one other cat. Her ideal home is a kind, calm, relaxed environment, with humans with no other animals or children, who can give her as much love as possible before she crosses the rainbow bridge. This sweet lady deserves to live out her days surrounded by attention, care, and kindness. Can you gently walk beside her on her journey?

Scrabble, Female
Domestic Longhair, 4 year old
Scrabble is sassy 4-year-old, long-haired lady looking for her forever home. She is a retired mama who is done raising her kittens and is ready for the easy life with plenty of toys and treats!
Scrabble is fearless and outgoing from the first time she meets you. She isn’t much of a cuddler but likes to be near people. This stripey gal often likes to sit on the couch or the floor near you while you watch TV, but she’s not typically going to get in your lap (unless you have a Churu). She goes nuts for almost any kind of toy but particularly loves balls or springs to bat around on the ground. She is super happy to entertain herself with her toys or birdwatching out the window; she also loves giving herself a manicure by scratching, so it’s a good idea to have a couple of scratching posts or pads for her. Scrabble can be a bit mouthy when she is in the middle of playing, similar to the way kittens can be a bit nippy—it's not malicious and does not hurt. Scrabble loves food both wet and dry; she might benefit from something like an automatic or timed feeder, so she doesn’t bug her humans too much when she is hungry. Besides mealtime, she is a very tidy kitty and takes very good care of her long soft fur; her forever humans will need to brush her regularly to help her keep her lovely coat in tip-top shape. Scrabble uses the litter box very well. Scrabble truly enjoys being in the mix of household activities. She is fairly high energy for an adult cat and is always happy to be playing. Her other main priority is making sure she gets her breakfast and dinner on time! Scrabble lives with two adults in a quiet home with several other older cats. Her high energy can be off-putting to the other cats (she loves playing amped up games of chase, and they aren’t always into it), so she primarily lives separately from them in her foster home. Scrabble does not seem to mind life as a solo kitty however, because it means more attention from you. She is very outgoing and would do well in a variety of households, as long as her people were around a lot to give her the affection she seeks. Since she can get nippy when playing, she may not be a best fit for young kids. She would be better with older kids and is currently unknown regarding dogs. Scrabble has an upcoming dental appointment on 12/3, so will not be able to be adopted until after that (and potentially a bit later, factoring in any follow up or recovery time). This energetic, adorable gal is so ready to live the good life in a cozy, loving home that can support her vibrant personality and give her the care, attention and company she enjoys. After all, who doesn’t love a good game of Scrabble?

Patton (FIV+), Pending Adoption, Male
Domestic Mediumhair, 15 years
Patton is a 15-year-old distinguished gentleman looking for his forever home! This boy is a sweet senior boy looking for a comfy bed to curl up on. Being an older fellow, he does come with some age-related health issues that any new family should be aware of.
Patton is a cozy, snuggly guy. He loves sitting on laps and sleeping next to his person. He will try to take over your pillow. You may find he tries to lick or eat your hair every now and then. If you work from home, he'll most likely want to sit on your lap and get lots of pets during your meetings. He enjoys being brushed, which is good since he gets small mats in his long fur; his forever person will have to keep up the grooming to help this handsome fellow look his very best. This guy loves sleeping, lounging, looking out windows, and every now and then he'll play with a toy. He’s also a big fan of both Temptation treats and Churus! He's currently in a home with multiple cats of all ages. Although he prefers to be the alpha cat, he gets along with all but one of them, even licking his feline pals to help keep them tidy. He hasn’t met any dogs yet, and would likely do fine with older, respectful tweens/teens. Patton is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a normal, happy, and healthy life! Since FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV+ cats can live in a home with other chill, easygoing felines, provided they have gentle introductions to make sure they all get along. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj. Patton would thrive in an affectionate, low-energy, easygoing home. His forever humans would have to be okay with monitoring his health conditions and helping him feel his very best. Patton has not liked the food for cats with kidney disease that he has tried so far, but he does enjoy wet food so is currently eating a mostly wet food diet. (His forever people could talk with the vet about trying different prescription brands of specialty renal canned food, to help him find one he prefers.) This handsome fellow is currently in a home with Sweet Potato Pie (also available for adoption), the kitten shown in the pictures. Senior cats are so ready to give lots of love and enjoy their golden years. Would you like to invite Patton into your home and your heart?

Hawkeye and Stormaggedon (Bonded Pair), Pending Adoption, Females
Domestic Longhair, 6 and 7 years
Hawkeye (6 years old) and Stormageddon (7 years old) are reserved, quiet cats looking for their forever home! These bonded sisters love to spend their days lounging on their cat tree, cuddling on the couch, watching the birds and all the outdoor action near them. Hawkeye and Storm also love to relax and sleep on their foster mom's bed. Storm is a bit more reserved than Hawkeye, and prefers to spend more time in their cat room relaxing.
These pretty girls enjoy some wet food in the morning and then will sleep and lounge around during the day. Hawkeye is very active at night, exploring and enjoying the house. Occasionally, she will want to play with a toy and enjoys catnip toys whenever given to her. They both love to lounge on the cat tree together. Hawkeye and Stormageddon currently live in a home with two adult humans. They are loyal buddies who prefer to stay as a duo; they would do best in a calm, peaceful environment where there are not any other animals besides each other. However, they are receptive to gentle, cat-friendly older children. It’s important to know that although Hawk and Storm are very reserved cats, they have really blossomed since coming to my home! They have gained trust and now greet me in the morning for pets and a treat! Both of these beautiful girls have opened up so much and become so much more confident about seeking pets and affection. If you’d like to be a part of these lovely ladies’ journey as they build trust and live their best safe, happy, indoor life, Hawk and Stormageddon are so ready to meet you!

Meowgi, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1 years
Meowgli is a sweet, reserved, 1-year-old female cat looking for her forever home! She loves attention once she warms up to you and finds her safe space. This exotically beautiful silver girl will roll over and over, purring and expressing love for having her head and cheeks pet and her belly rubbed; however, it does take time for her to warm up to people. She does not like being held.
She loves wrestling with other cats and receiving pets of all kinds. This pretty lady currently lives with 4 other cats and two humans. She gets along so well with the resident cats; her personality has truly bloomed since she started spending time with them. Her forever home should also have a gentle feline friend or two for her to bond with as she gains confidence. (No children or dogs, please.) Meowgli would do fine in a small apartment or home with people who will be patient with her and offer her lots of treats to help her build trust; she would do best being confined to a smaller area for the first several months. Her forever people should be compassionate, loving, and patient—ready to allow her to slowly warm up to them at her own pace. Meowgli has been through a lot and is ready to enjoy the calm, cozy indoor life she so richly deserves. She is an incredibly loving cat who just needs a chance. Could that be with you?

Daryl, Pending Adoption, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 5 months
Daryl is a super sweet, 5-month-old kitten who would love to find his friendly forever home! This handsome silvery-gray guy loves to snooze, snack and play!
He loves to play and wrestle, and is fearless in climbing, (he's made it to the top of our 7 ft Christmas tree and easily climbed a ladder in our house). He is shy with humans at first, and has taken some time to learn to be less skittish, but as his siblings are being adopted, he is definitely coming out of his shell more, and getting braver. He enjoys snuggles and is learning how to initiate them now. He loves to be friends with friendly dogs, cats and his brothers and sister. This sweet guy is open to hanging out with my 5- and 8-year-olds, but he's a little reserved at first and it might take some extra love before he gets comfortable with children; gentle, cat-savvy kids would be best. Daryl currently lives with a fun group including: 2 grade school kids, 3 kitten siblings, 2 adult boy cats and a 4-year-old friendly large dog. He is a high energy kitten who loves the attention of other cats. Because of this, Daryl needs to be adopted into a home with a young friendly resident cat to show him the ropes and provide the companionship he so loves. If you’re around a lot and enjoy kitten shenanigans, please consider helping this beautiful, fun boy gain confidence in his forever home. Daryl can’t wait to meet you!

Lincoln, Pending Adoption, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 7 years
Lincoln is a 6-year-old friendly diva who is looking for his forever home! This handsome creamsicle fellow is a very sweet boy; I’ve never seen him hiss or swipe (in a non-playful way). He isn’t a lap cat, but will follow his people into whichever room they are in and enjoys naps with a paw or two touching you. He does not meow as much as he chirps!
He will become very vocal around mealtimes, but he is overall a pretty quiet cat! He can be a little bit sassy and frequently paws things off surfaces to get attention. He can be a bit naughty but will respond to his name and follow directions if you gently tell him to get down from somewhere. Lincoln is a very playful fur ball! He absolutely adores small dark spaces such as a cat tunnel or open cabinet drawer. He gets the zoomies sometimes and races around the house; he will perk up whenever he hears the bell on his feather toy. He also appreciates windows and watching cars and people go by. Lincoln starts his day off with breakfast (which he can be a little bit picky about). Then he lounges in various cozy spots around my apartment—sometimes in a sunny spot and sometimes curled up in a ball underneath my covers. Once I’m home from work, he greets me at the door and needs pets and attention before going back to sleep. Lincoln can be very curious about human food but can also be easily distracted with a toy. He tends to get the zoomies in the evening or if there something unusual going on (such as guests or putting up decorations). He loves to jump and chase and really enjoys when his owner plays with him. I will leave my bedroom door open when I go to bed; sometimes he joins me in my bed, or at other times he prefers to sleep on the couch. Right now, Lincoln lives in a two-bedroom apartment with my roommate and me. We have a cozy L-shaped couch which he frequents but he prefers sleeping on the top of my roommate's desk in the living room. We don’t have ledges large enough for him to sit on and look out all the windows, but he enjoys watching cars pass by through a window in my room. We have a hallway that he likes to run up and down when he has a spurt of energy, I think Lincoln will thrive in a home where he won’t have the opportunity to knock over valuables and will have plenty of space to curl up. He would love some window lookouts, and a cat tunnel is an absolute must! He should be the only cat in the household because he loves being the center of attention. He has met a chill and well mannered dog with whom he got along with! However, he is very easygoing, gentle, and patient with humans so I think he could get along with anyone, including children! He tends to shed his white fur quite a bit but is good at sticking to his litterbox. Overall, this guy is a gem—a very sweet, quiet, and chill kitty. If you’d like to add some of that lovely orange boy energy to your home, please consider adding the adorable Lincoln to your family!

Polaris and Oberon (Bonded) Males
Domestic Short Hair, 4 Months
Polaris is a cute black and white medium hair kitten and Oberon is a quiet grey tabby, both with an estimated DOB of May 2024—these sweet brothers are looking for a quieter forever home where they can be the only animals.
Little Oberon, the runt, came into foster care with 4 other siblings and was the last to warm up to people. After time and lots of patience, he has come around to be such a sweet boy who enjoys being near his people and quite the purring love bug. He still can be skittish when approached or when you move suddenly, and some days just wants to hide. He will need a person or people who are very understanding and patient, and who can help him gain confidence at his own pace. When he finally does warm up to you, it is so rewarding! Polaris, on the other hand, is extremely friendly and confident. He loves attention, running around, and investigating everything he can. He's very food-motivated and will be there anytime you open a can of food or a Churu packet (sometimes grabbing your hand with his paw to bring it closer to himself). One of his favorite things to do is plop down on something with a view and supervise, especially if it's near a human who can pet him. He likes to chase, pounce and wrestle, sometimes with Oberon, but can leave him alone as well. Both of these fine gentlemen have been around other cats before (their siblings) and they have heard the noise from the dogs that live in their foster home; with Oberon’s quiet nature, he and Polaris would do best in a place without much activity. In light of this, they should go to a home with adult(s) only, or they could live with teenagers as well, if there are not tons of friends coming and going or commotion all the time. Polaris loves chasing after a wand toy, and sometimes Oberon will join in as well. They both like getting their backs petted and receiving ear rubs. Polaris will start purring as soon as you get close, but Oberon only purrs if he chooses to cuddle with you. Although Oberon may take longer to adjust, he's got quite the personality and love to share with the right home, and Polaris will give you plenty of love from the start! Are you ready to reach for the stars of love and kitty affection? Why not give Polaris and Oberon a chance to shine? There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven's adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2F

Megan, Female
Domestic Medium Hair, 2 Years
Megan is a 2-year-old, sweet, friendly, and saucy kitty looking for her forever home!
Megan has been an amazing mama to her 9 kittens that are currently looking for their forever homes as well. She has been very attentive and caring to all of them and is ready to be pampered and loved in a home of her own. She is young enough where she still likes to play some and often plays with her kittens, runs through the cat tunnel, or attacks a soft cat toy. She also loves to just hang out and watch the world around her. You can often find her napping on a couch or relaxing in the middle of the floor. Megan is a confident and outgoing girl happy to explore her surroundings and doesn't like being cooped up to just one area. She enjoys being the Queen-bee and ruling her territory, letting other cats know she is the one in charge. Megan has a low to moderate energy level. She mostly likes to relax and nap but occasionally her frisky side comes out and she is ready to play. She currently only plays with her kittens and not the other adult cats in the home, so toys and enrichment in her forever home would be needed to keep her feeling happy and exercised. Megan currently lives in a foster house with her 9 kittens, large breed dogs, and other adult cats, so she is very well socialized. There are 3 teenagers in the home which she does great with. She has met younger children (4-6) and was fine with them, as well. Megan's ideal home is a quiet or moderately active home. She is fine with other cats in the home but would be happy as an only cat too. She tends to be a bit more of an alpha cat, and those that give in to her personality she gets along with. In a home without her kittens, there’s a chance that some of her protective and dominant nature will subside. It’s important to note however that even her bossy nature is very mild and hasn’t caused any issues in her busy foster home. She is good with dogs if they don't bother her much. She would love to be the queen-bee of her home and given lots of affection and love. Overall, Megan is excited to be doted on in the same way she doted on her own babies. She deserves her own happily ever after in a home where she can be spoiled and rewarded for the rest of her days. If that sounds like something your home could provide, apply below! Mama Megan would love to meet you. Eclipse, No Longer Accepting Applications, Female
Domestic Short Hair, 2 Years
Eclipse is a 2 year old playful and loving girl who was living on the streets and has had a few litters of kittens. Now she is ready to enjoy the good life indoors with a loving owner or family!
Eclipse’s foster describes this sweet lady as a “little treasure”. She has quite a unique story. Initially coming into rescue, Eclipse was pregnant and very scared. She did not understand what was happening and was worried for her newborn kittens, so she was very protective. Because of this she was assumed to be unsocialized and was spayed and given an ear tip so she could be released back outside. Thankfully her new foster felt she deserved a little more time to decompress and Eclipse QUICKLY turned around and showed that she can trust and love people very much! She is a wonderful, beautiful, sweet girl who makes a funny face and a cute sound when she “talks”. She has so much personality and loves to snuggle and play. Eclipse may be more reserved at first, preferring to size up her surroundings initially, but once she feels safe she is a lover and PLOPPER! She loves to plop down to greet her human(s) and roll around and show you how happy she is to see you! She likes to explore and she likes a good hiding spot to catch some zzz’s. Eclipse has a medium to high energy level and enjoys chasing her favorite toys around. Her favorite toy to chase is a wand/string toy. Eclipse lives with 1 human as well as another human roommate that lives downstairs. She gets along well with human adults and children, and also got along well with a male cat that she knew outside. She hasn’t met any dogs yet. Eclipse would thrive best in a forever family who will allow her some time initially to build trust. This can easily be done with her using food and treats and allowing her to hide when she needs a break. After a couple days, she will eventually make her round exploring, giving her signature PLOP to show she feels safe. So, if you’re looking for the reward that comes with having a reserved cat choose YOU as their person, Eclipse may be perfect for you. Apply below to connect with her foster to learn more about what makes Eclipse such a wonderful cat. Evy, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 7 years
Evy is a 7-year-old sweet cat looking for her forever home! This sweet floofy gal loves to chill all day. She'll find a warm or fuzzy spot and sleep the day away...until you bring out a wand toy. Then she's all swats and jumps.
She's also likely to rest on your stomach if you're lying down, or on your lap if you're sitting down. Ever the companion, if you talk to her, she'll meow right back! Evy has a medium energy level. She can get really excited about toys but otherwise she does her own thing. She'll give you a meow if she's bored, but a couple minutes of playtime calms her right back down. She can get sassy as she has particular ways, but once you learn her quirks, it's easy street. She enjoys pets and getting all the attention! This lovely lady currently lives in a quiet apartment with one human. Her ideal home is one where she doesn’t have to share the spotlight—multiple loving humans are fine, but she would do best in a home without small children or other pets. As a bit of a fluffy girl currently on a journey toward her ideal weight, Evy has a bit of trouble grooming her rear. She's on a new diet so as she's losing weight, she'll gain the flexibility to groom her backside easily. Right now, she just needs a little extra help with a pet wipe every other day. Evy is a lovely cat ready to settle in and be someone’s best companion—she's just a sweet cat looking for a new place to chill and be doted on. Could that be with you?

Tober (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair
Tober is a 5-year-old, tender-loving tomcat looking for his forever home! This handsome orange-buff guy was found living outside with an apparent eye injury.
He was meant to be trapped, neutered, and released, but his finders did not like the idea of putting a cat back outside to survive with only one good eye and broken teeth, so they decided to see if he could get along well with people. After learning to trust his foster it was all uphill from there! Now he always wants to be by her side, and even likes to be picked up, held, and given some good ear scratches! I think in his own home he would want to be someone’s shadow and snuggle a lot! He loves catnip and will occasionally chase a string toy, but mostly he just wants to follow his fosters around and get food, treats, and pets! Tober’s energy seems medium to low, but he has been regaining his health after recovering from an ear infection. He may be livelier when he is not just a “guest” but a permanent resident with a forever person or family. He really likes living with another foster cat in the home, a younger female. She tolerates him but he LOVES her. He is always trying to rub on her. I never see them sleep or play together, but I think Tober would love a brother or other playmate to love. He also would not mind one bit to be the only pet and center of someone’s attention, if they work from home and/or are around a lot. He’s just a lover! This lovely guy lives in his foster’s basement with another foster cat that he knew while living outside. He loves to look out the big window down there and find warm, cozy beds out in the open to sleep. This affectionate fellow does well with cats and children; he hasn’t met any dogs yet). Tober is still a little new to the indoor cat life and would do best in a new home that is somewhat quiet and has a person or people who are able to spend a good amount of time with him. He really seems to want his foster person’s attention a lot, after spending who knows how long living alone outside. This sweet boy has an old eye injury that has healed. He is blind in his right eye, and it is cloudy and white. It does not hurt him, and he can live a happy and normal life with it. He also has some broken teeth, so would benefit from regular dental care.

Finnegan, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Finnegan is a 3-year-old cuddly prince looking for his forever home! This handsome stripey guy is very particular and princely. He likes to be pampered and spoiled.
Finnegan LOVES cuddles and if you sit/lie down, he will be on top of you purring away. He must go to someone who will let him sleep on their bed, as that is his favorite place to be at night. A talented chef, this boy is skilled at making air biscuits and will only drink water that he scoops from his paws. Finnegan can occasionally be nippy when he is overstimulated, so he needs to go to an experienced cat owner who can gently and kindly help him redirect his energy. Pro tip: Finnegan loves listening to Orville Peck; whenever he is being angsty, playing Orville will make him relax, purr, and lie down. He does not like full-body pets, but he is very fond of light head scratchies. Rule number one is do not touch the belly - we told you he was a particular prince! Finnegan would cuddle with his people all day if he could! He also likes people-watching from the window and loves wet food. During his zoomies he enjoys a laser pointer, cat dancer, or any toy with catnip. He’s a chatty guy and lets you know when it’s breakfast time. Midday, he tries to lure us into naps and is always successful. He'll sit on any available lap and will occasionally chase a toy. At night, his zoomies kick in and he sprints and skids around the room. Once you get into bed, he is there immediately, ready for (you guessed it!) more cuddles. This lovely boy lives in a large room in a house. We have several housemates whom he has met. He is social and loves to meet new people, but can also get over excited if he encounters too many people in a short span of time. Finnegan's ideal home has 1-3 people and is in a quiet area (not near a highway—the sound freaks him out). He would thrive in a small, cozy home vs a large house. Finnegan is not a fan of other cats or children, so he should not go to a home with anyone who has kids or plans to have them in the next 15+ years. This guy likes to always be the center of attention. We think he may get along with a relaxed, older, cat-friendly dog. This loving but gentle soul must go to an experienced cat owner. He has some trauma due to being left in a carrier outside for days and gets anxious when left alone for long periods of time. His body language is different from other cats and it takes some getting used to. He takes about 2-4 weeks to become comfortable and trust people; you'll know he is comfortable when the zoomies kick in. He good-naturedly responds to Finnegan, Finn, Finnypoo, and Finnylicious. This boy has been through a lot and only wants to feel safe and loved! Can you help make that happen, and receive so many cuddles in return?

Skippyjon Jones, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year
Skippy Skip Skip is a 1 year old ""big little baby"" who will skip all the way to your heart and find a place to warm his and your life. Skippyjon Jones isn't a lap cat, but he is oh so affectionate and would love to have a human being companion so that he can be their shadow.
Skippy loves to keep his humans company and will curl up besides anyone who will allow it. Skippy loves to play with teaser toys and zoomies! Once you start to get to know him, you learn what his tell is when he wants to have zoomies and be chased around. Skippy is the underdog of all underdogs -- he can’t jump up the cat tree gracefully (38”) but he will clear a gate (52”) just fine!! He is your very own olympic pole vaulter, he can really do whatever HE wants to do, so don’t underestimate him. Skippy is still very much an awkward cat, you think he would have it figured out by now? Skippy still has to find his voice, he doesn’t quite know how to sound like a cat. When you look at his abundantly packed toe beans and his perfectly executed loaf you’d assume he screams at his humans to be fed. Absolutely not!! Although still very awkward at this cat thing, he is an absolute gentleman when it comes to eating! Preparing his food? He’s not even worried about that, he just wants belly rubs! Afraid you won’t be able to sleep in because he’ll demand food in the early morning? Never Skippyjon Jones! Skippy loves to graze, he won’t eat his food all in one sitting so he’s best to be free fed and will occasionally take to some wet food. Skippy lives with three humans and two resident cats in a house. Skippy does play a little rough (he hasn’t figured this cat thing out yet, so he also doesn’t know how to make friends just yet), so he would be best suited as an only cat/younger cat/a cat that will tolerate him and teach him boundaries. While Skippy gets along ok with the current resident cats, he has really come a long way. His orange buddy has taught him boundaries so Skippy knows when he has to back off and lay low. BUT it is clearly evident that the little guy would love a friend who will play with him. His play style, while not aggressive, does involve his teeth and claws. He is best suited with older responsible children who understand how to engage with him -- when he plays or when being pet, sometimes he will nip a little bit with his teeth in a playful manner, never strong enough to break the skin. Skippy is an ambassador for litter box usage, he takes it very seriously. If you are looking for a teddy bear to be your loyal companion and shadow -- Skippyjon Jones is the perfect match. Couldn’t get enough of Skippy and want to see him some more? Follow his foster humans on instagram @homeof.gppt to see more of him and ask questions!

Gracie, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 7 years
Gracie is a loving adult, possibly senior girl, looking for a quiet place to call home. This pretty lady loves to get face scratches and belly rubs from her favorite people.
She also loves licking and rolling in catnip. She snoozes most of the day and will spend some time looking out the window. She’s working on gaining confidence, which will come with caring people and enough time in a peaceful environment. She is a low energy cat currently, but that could be partially due to her being a bit on the fluffy side; as she continues her healthy weight-loss journey, she may gain additional energy. Gracie is currently living in her own room in a quiet part of the house. She gets regular visits from 2 adults and is still a little hesitant to leave her room; as her trust in others grows, she may become more curious about her surroundings. This sweet gal would do best in an adults-only home where she is the only pet in residence. Her ideal forever home would be a quiet, consistent place where her people are around a lot, with no other animals. She would need her own room set up as her safe space. (It’s best for her to avoid interactions with any visiting kids and other pets at this time, since she lacks confidence and has had litter box issues in the past when stressed.) Her forever humans should also be willing to help with her weight loss using controlled portions (no free feeding) and regular active play time. Otherwise, she is a low-maintenance gal and just wants regular petting and cuddles. A nearby vet is essential, to minimize her time in the car, along with a pet sitter who can come to the house to feed her, play with her, and provide lots of attention when her people are away. She is a sweet lady who just seeks love, confidence, and trust to live her best life in a peaceful, caring home. Like many cats coming from a stressful background, this adorable girl just needs a fresh start. If you can find a place in your heart for this beautiful gal, Gracie would love to meet you!

Michael, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1.5 months
Michael is a one year-old, playful and friendly kitty looking for his forever home! Michael has the appearance of a fancy boy with enchanting blue eyes, but he’s certainly not uptight.
He loves to play and explore, and when he’s tuckered out will relax on the bed or lean against the nearest human for pets. He enjoys galloping around with his cat foster brothers, chasing mouses, and has been known to destroy a catnip toy or two. However, he sees humans as most important on the hierarchy, and happily answers to his name, greets them at the door, and will follow them around from room to room if they seem to be doing something interesting. Michael is a young Siamese mix, and as such has some energy to burn. He currently gets enough exercise through playing with his cat foster brothers and chasing plenty of toys, but if he were an only cat, he would need daily intentional play and engagement from his humans to prevent him from looking for trouble. He is still quite affectionate and people-oriented. This sweet Siamese boy lives in a house with two adults and one five year-old human, and two adult male cats. He has done well with all of them! He hasn’t met a dog, but I think he would be fine with slow introductions. Michael would love to either go to a home with a cat friend to play with, or with humans who can provide him plenty of play time and affection. People are his favorite, and he would love to be someone’s new best friend!

Pookie (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 years
Pookie is a loving adult male cat looking for his forever home! This handsome fellow took about 3 weeks to adjust to his foster home, and at 5 weeks he still prefers to stay hidden for part of the day—under a bed, behind a desk, or in a closet.
In the beginning we used a cat brush to reach out to him and pet him and that is what motivated him to move closer to us and eventually allow us to pet him. He now seeks affection and now meows for attention. He has also started to show excitement about knowing he is going to be able to snuggle and receive. He jumps up on the bed and rolls around making eye contact, as if asking us to come give him affection. This sweet boy with the perfectly outlined nose is very content to lounge around and do nothing but prefers to cuddle up close to his person and have you pet him. He has shown some interest in catching moving objects, but he is more cautious about movement than playful at this point. Pookie will take some time to gain confidence and feel safe in his forever home. He lives with 3 adults in a house. He currently prefers the middle-aged woman over the 2 young adult men in the home, but he is learning to trust more every day. Pookie's ideal forever home would be calm and peaceful. I suspect he would not enjoy other animals or small children, as he continues to be on alert and hide himself when there is noise or sudden movement. This cute guy would also love to live with someone who works from home or is around a lot, and who would enjoy talking to him, holding him, and petting him often. He seems to prefer women over men, but he does enjoy attention from men when they give it to him. Pookie is very smart—he comes when called and especially knows when a treat is being offered. He is so ready to leave his rough days behind and enjoy the cozy, loving indoor life in a patient, compassionate home. Could that be with you?

Toe-ny, No Longer Accepting Applications, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years
Toe-ny is a 2-year-old, sweet and cuddly guy looking for his forever home! This low-key orange tabby loves to nap and be near his humans. Sometimes, he’s content napping on his own, but he’s also more than happy to curl up on a lap or chest for extra snuggles.
Toe-ny is a smart boy who listens well to commands like "no" and "move back" from his foster mom. He has even learned to play fetch, which is sure to put a smile on your face when he brings the toy back to you! One of Toe-ny’s most unique features is his adorable mittens! He has two thumbs in each of his front paws, but while his mittens are cute, he still can’t quite help you open jars in the kitchen. Toe-ny has not been declawed while in care. This sweet guy is pretty chill overall but does enjoy a bit of playtime with his favorite toy around 7 pm. He’ll sometimes even engage in a game of fetch! Currently, Toe-ny lives with his foster mom and is slowly trying to get to know another foster cat. While it’s still to be determined if they’ll become best buddies, Toe-ny seems to be open to a calm companion. A mellow, easy-going feline friend would be ideal, and this could change as we learn more about him. He has a bit of a nervous side when it comes to men. He warms up very slowly and can be unsure around them, so he would do best in a home with a single woman or a couple where the man is willing to be patient. He’s also great with children over 5, loving their company and enjoying attention from gentle, respectful kids. Toe-ny has not met any dogs yet, but he could likely adjust to a calm dog with the proper introduction. Toe-ny is literally the sweetest cat ever—calm, affectionate, and ready to bring joy to a loving home!

Mister, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year
Mister is a 5-year-old lovable, social kitty looking for his forever home! This friendly boy is a chatterbox who will brighten your days with his adorable meows and playful personality.
He’s energetic during playtime but equally happy to nap or relax throughout the day. He enjoys a variety of toys and especially loves play-wrestling with his foster brother, Stevie. When he’s not engaged in playtime, Mister enjoys lounging high up on the cat tower or gazing out the window at birds. He’s also a great sleeper at night, making him an easy companion for any household. Mister loves to be around people and other cats, making him an excellent addition to a home with feline companions. He is dog-selective (preferring calm, friendly dogs), and does wonderfully with children of all ages. Mister currently lives in an apartment with his foster mom and another adult cat, and he makes a great roommate! He thrives in a moderately active home where he can get plenty of attention, pets, and the opportunity to play. Mister is great with the litterbox as long as it’s cleaned regularly and filled with clumping litter. Mister is a happy and healthy boy. One quirky trait to keep in mind—Mister can be a little greedy with food! If you have pets who graze throughout the day, he might try to snack on their meals, so meal management will be important. If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful, and chatty companion who will get along with everyone in the family, Mister is ready to meet you! If you’re looking for an affectionate, active, and loyal feline friend, Coco could be the perfect match for you!

Butterball and Baby Turnip, Males
Domestic Shorthair, 1.5 years
Butterball (tabby, 2 years and 9 months) and Baby Turnip (white/tabby, 1 year and 9 months) are two reserved, handsome goofballs looking for their forever home! This quiet bonded pair is learning to trust their people, gain confidence, and enjoy the cozy indoor life.
Butterball occasionally allows pets or will ask for attention, while Turnip prefers to be left alone as he grows in his comfort level and socialization skills. Both cats have low energy and love to lounge all day long. They'll occasionally get zoomies at night and absolutely love batting toys across the floor. If you love to sleep in on the weekends, Butterball’s the guy for you—he enjoys lazy mornings in bed and will come lie down with his humans. Baby Turnip is usually close by watching the action as an observant, contented bystander; this cute guy occasionally gets an upset tummy when he is stressed, but a dose of probiotics fixes that. Butterball and Baby Turnip currently live with one human and no other pets in an apartment. These sweeties would thrive in a quiet home with engaged, compassionate humans who have some experience helping more reserved cats learn to love while settling into the joys of a warm, safe, loving home. This often involves giving them space when they need it and helping them build up to gentle pets and affection. Butterball is not a big fan of his carrier, so his people will have to help him gradually become more accustomed to riding in it. These lovely boys do well with other gentle cats and children over 12; they have not met any dogs to date. It takes a special soul to help cats that have had a challenging start in life learn that humans are good and can be a source of love, affection, and care, but the results are worth it. Butterball and Baby Turnip are so ready to go on this journey with the right people. Could that be with you?

Domestic Shorthair, 2.5 years
Winston and Dom are a delightful 2-year-old bonded pair looking for their purrrfect forever home! These black-and-white brothers are the ideal mix of playful energy and sweet affection, each bringing their unique personality to your life.
Winston is the life of the party—an outgoing, curious, and goofy little troublemaker who loves constant attention and playtime. Whether he’s chasing toys, exploring every corner of the house, or making you laugh with his antics, Winston’s energy is infectious. Dom, on the other hand, is the calm and introspective half of this duo. With his big, expressive eyes and gentle demeanor, he’ll quietly ask for pets and affection, often doing an adorable little dance to show he’s ready for love. Dom enjoys birdwatching, wrestling with Winston, and curling up for a cuddle when he feels secure. Together, Winston and Dom balance each other beautifully. While Winston keeps the energy high, Dom brings a sense of calm, making them the purrrfect pair for someone who loves both playfulness and quiet companionship. These sweet brothers adore snuggling with each other and their humans, making them the ultimate cuddle team. They also get along nicely with other feline friends. These two cats have not been declawed while in our care, and do not have any known health issues. Their ideal home would be with someone experienced with cats, who has the patience to build trust with Dom and the energy to keep up with Winston. They’ve come a long way from their hoarding situation and are ready to thrive in a home filled with love and stability. While Dom may take a little time to adjust, your patience will be rewarded with his deep affection. If you’re ready for a home filled with laughter, snuggles, and endless joy, Winston and Dom are ready to fill your heart with love!

Raja, Female
Domestic Medium Hair, 7 years
This 8-year-old medium-haired fluffer is as regal as her name, which means "King" in Hindi. True to her title, Raja loves being treated like royalty and knows how to command a household with her charming yet independent personality. Her stunning coat adds to her majestic aura, and don’t forget about her adorable toe beans—they’re as cute as they are paw-sitively perfect!
Raja is a low-energy kitty who enjoys the finer things in life, like lounging on her cat tree, basking in sunny spots, and keeping an eye on the resident squirrels through the window. She’s a playful fluffer at heart, entertaining herself with toys (and occasionally losing them under furniture). Raja can be quite the chatterbox and will let you know when she needs something, but her appreciation for your efforts is always clear. This queen prefers a calm, structured home where her boundaries are respected. She’s skittish around new people and large gatherings, so a quiet environment without young kids is necessary. She hasn't met any other cats or dogs yet, but may be open to them with the right introduction. While Raja isn’t a fan of being picked up, she loves gentle affection on her terms and enjoys exploring her space. Her ideal family will be patient, understanding, and willing to accommodate her routine. Raja has some special needs that require a little extra care—she has arthritis that is managed with monthly injections and occasional ear issues that are easily treated with provided medication. She gets nervous when left alone for long periods, so a family that’s around often or can provide consistent companionship is ideal. Trips to the vet stress her out, so she needs a dose of gabapentin before visits to keep her calm. Otherwise, her only other health consideration is that she has not been declawed while in our care. If you’re looking for a sophisticated, loyal, and occasionally sassy companion to brighten your days, Raja is ready to rule your heart and home. Apply to meet this royal kitty today—she’s sure to make your life paws-itively amazing!

These fluffballs adore soccer (with anything that rolls), climbing to the highest spots they can find, and crafting masterpieces with paper bags. When playtime winds down, they’re all about cozy snuggles, falling fast asleep in your arms like the lovebugs they are. Pink and Kevin are full of energy but know how to balance it with quiet moments of affection. They’ll thrive in a home with plenty of climbing structures for their love of heights, and they’ll always be close by to greet you at the door or follow you wherever you go. This cute, stripey girl taker her time to warm up to new people—she still hides from the other residents in my home, but after several months she's become a total lap cat. She loves to spend all night curled up at her foster mom's feet and will happily be the first face you see in the morning. She has so many opinions to share with you and will easily hold a conversation if she thinks she's not receiving enough attention.
This cutie pie is quick to explore new things, but even quicker to run away if she thinks they're too scary. She likes to spend her mornings and afternoons curled up in a dark, quiet space, and her evenings and nights playing with her toys, loafing next to you, and playing with her sister, Boca Chica. Once she feels safe in a new space, Chi Chi will happily show her curious side by jumping to new heights and investigating your plants and figurines. She's a very affectionate cat and will ask for attention by giving you a very firm headbutt. She loves scritches everywhere and is especially fond of tummy rubs. This gal is definitely a night owl—once the sun goes down, she gets a serious case of the zoomies! She loves to play chase with her sister, jump after the laser pointer, and kick her catnip banana to shreds. She is also a serious cuddler—if you're watching TV, working at a desk, etc., she will be perfectly content to sit at your side. Chi Chi currently lives with her sister Boca Chica, her foster mom, and three other young women in a home. She's brave enough to venture to the rest of her house if her foster mom is there but gets scared easily by other people and loud noises. Chi Chi would thrive in a quieter home with either her Boca Chica or another young cat to match her drive to play. Due to her skittish nature, she would do best in a home with older children or adults only (she hasn’t met any dogs yet). Given her background, a compassionate, loving family that does not travel frequently is preferred. Chi Chi is a hidden gem for a patient adopter! Just three months ago, she was withdrawn and constantly hiding, but now she has warmed up to being held, being petted by her foster mom's roommates, and sleeping next to her foster mom every night. She has not had any issues with biting or scratching, and is an excellent head-butter! This lovely girl had a rough start but is so ready to enjoy the safe, cozy indoor life in a loving forever home. Boca Chica, Pending Adoption, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 5 years and 3 months
Boca Chica is a 5-year-old bombshell tortie looking for her forever home! This beautiful, woolly bear CAT-erpillar is a very laid-back girl. She spends most of the day watching over the neighborhood or snoozing in one of her favorite spots (on top of the bed, under the dresser, or on her favorite cushion). She spends the evenings and nights glued to her foster mom and playing with toys. At bedtime, she can be found sleeping next to her foster mom's face to keep an eye on her.
Boca Chica is a pretty chill girl, but she has her spirited moments. She will bring you her favorite fish toy if she's in the mood to play, and will go crazy for her catnip banana, laser pointer, or scratcher. When she's not playing, she's content to zonk out next to you. She embodies the concept of ""work hard play hard!” Boca Chica lives with her sister Chi Chi, her foster mom, and three other young women in a house. She loves to explore the house and to get attention and belly rubs from her foster mom's roommates. She is a sociable girl but does occasionally get fed up with Chi Chi's high energy! Boca Chica would thrive in a home with her sister Chi Chi or another cat who respects her boundaries. She will very politely communicate her boundaries to adults through a firm paw or gently putting her mouth on your hand, so she would do best with older children or adults who are familiar with cats and their body language. Given her past ownership, she would do best with a family that is not out of the home for more than a night. She will thrive with people who are around frequently to give her the love and affection she deserves. Her forever humans will also need to take part in her at-home spaw days—this fluffy supermodel requires frequent, thorough brushing to prevent hairballs and matting of her gorgeous tortie fur. Both she and Chi Chi came from a stressful pre-rescue situation, and are so ready to enjoy the pampered, cozy indoor life with loving, patient humans. If you’d like to brush, snuggle with, and hang out with a lovely, loyal gal, consider adding Boca Chica to your family. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Dodger, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 1 Year
Dodger is a 1-year-old, spunky boy looking for his forever home! He's a super goofy guy. Most of the time, this sweetheart looks surprised at everything going on around him, as if it's the first time he's ever seen it. But he’s very brave, and charges head on into everything! This fun dude adores his cardboard scratcher, watching the birds by the window, and then napping on ""his"" blanket.
This fun dude adores his cardboard scratcher, watching the birds by the window, and then napping on ""his"" blanket. Dodger also loves playing with his foster brother Copper. He can go at it for quite a while and gets super into their games! He has an affinity for catnip toys and will tear them apart if they are not durable enough, or if he gets a hold of them for too long. Dodger especially enjoys interactive toys like the sticks with a string and a feather attached to them. So long as Dodger has enough space to run back and forth, he'll take advantage of it! He's more active in the morning, and evenings; if he gets at least an of hour or so of active playing time a day, he's happy and content. When he’s not zooming, he loves to just wander around the house and explore! Dodger has bowed legs, that I was told were from a spinal injury he sustained as a young kitten. He is fully healed, but he still has some sensitivity on the sides of the small of his back, so his forever humans will have to be mindful and extra gentle when touching him there. He is completely mobile, other than a small little skip to his step; however, he will probably require steps to get onto elevated places like higher beds or perching spots. His future family should be okay with providing these to help him live his best explorer life! This sweet boy is currently staying with 2 adults and 2 other fixed male cats in a single-family house. An ideal home for Dodger would be with at least one other active, friendly pet (cat or dog) to bond and play with. He warms up well to other cats, and although he was a bit uncertain with the small dog he encountered, he was curious and not aggressive. Kids would be great, too! He is a social guy who loves to be loved and would do wonderfully well in a family home with people who are around a lot, where he can get lots of pets and attention from everyone. He also needs to be an indoor-only cat as he is scared of the outside and had some bad experiences there during his pre-rescue days. It’s exclusively the safe and cozy inside life for him, please! Dodger is a fun, silly boy who is so ready to give all the love and laughs to his forever family. If you’re ready to hit a home run with a real champion of a cat, please come visit Dodger today! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Clancy (FIV+), Male
Domestic Shorthair, 3 year
Hi everybody! My name is Clancy, and I am a very happy 3.5-year-old kitty. First things first - I am FIV+. I know that this is where a lot of people will stop reading about me, but I hope you won't. I have so much to give, and FIV doesn't hold me back in the slightest. FIV really isn't as scary as it sounds. It doesn't mean I am a sickly cat, nor does it mean that I'm highly contageous. In fact, cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans, and because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments!
That being said, I live a very full and happy life. I am currently living with five other non-FIV cats and am doing great. So, please don’t write me off just because of the FIV. I promise that FIV doesn't define me, and I hope you won't let it either. P.S. - My foster mom would be glad to talk to you about FIV if you have more questions. Just ask! The last several months have been hard for me. I used to have a family, but then, for reasons I don’t understand, I was dumped in a trailer park. I was alone and scared, so I tried to join a feral cat colony to survive. It was hard and I didn’t really fit in, because alas I was not feral. One day, I was trapped along with some of the other cats in the colony. Since the shelter people thought I was feral, I was neutered and was set to be released back into the colony. When the time came, I refused to leave the crate. I did not want to return to being cold, hungry, and unloved. I wanted a family again. I came into foster care just before Christmas. It was nice to be warm, and loved, and to get some treats under the tree from Santa. But what I really want in 2025 is a forever home and a family to call my own. It will take me a little while to warm up (I can be a little skittish at first), but once I do, I will be a great friend. I love to snooze on my blanket and yes, I will require loads of pets and ear scritches. I also like having my face stroked. I get along very well with other friendly cats. I tend to ignore meanies or bossy cats, a skill I learned from the time I spent outside. I am new to dogs, but after a few sniffs, I am good with well-behaved and calm canines. I am also really good with respectful kids. I love to play with my catnip bananas, and I also love treats (especially Churus)! I am up to date on all my vetting needs, and I use the litterbox like a champ. If you are looking for a sweet guy to be your buddy, I would love to meet you! Thanks so much for reading about me. Minnie, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 2 year
Minnie is a young, playful, affectionate, 2-year-old calico kitty looking for her forever home. This busy girl likes to spend her days chirping for human attention, playing with toys of all types, and getting those well-deserved pets from her human subjects. She is a medium- to high-energy gal and does really well with her litter box and scratching post.
Minnie currently lives with adult humans, middle school age kids, other cats and a dog in a single-family home. This lovely princess is currently looking for a new castle to rule. She does well with kids but does occasionally nip when overstimulated and is not a fan of loud noises or being restrained, so a cat-savvy owner with only older children may be in everyone's best interest. This adorable girl does seem to have a dominant personality (she is a calico, after all); she likes to boss other kitties around, in a friendly way. For this reason, Minnie would enjoy having another confident kitty in the home. She has grown to become confident around our active 50-lb dog, so may be okay with a respectful canine buddy. Minnie was found as a stray but did have a family once, as she came into the shelter with a collar. She is ready to live the cozy indoor life in her forever home with a caring, affectionate family who understands and appreciates her calico sass. Could that be with you? ---- Minnie will be spayed mid January and will be able to go to her forever home 5 days after her surgery once she's all healed up! Suzie Q and Muso, Female and Male
Domestic Shorthair, 7 months
We are Suzie Q and Muso, two loving, 7 month old kitties looking for our forever home! We are young and enjoy playing. We are curious about all the new things around us and are well behaved. We like all toys, especially the kind on a stick with a feather. We can even have loads of fun in a paper bag or cardboard box. Catnip gives us the zoomies!
Our ideal home would be one where we feel safe and have room to play. We are great at entertaining each other but hope our new family's energy level matches ours and they will interact with us. Having a designated place to sharpen our claws and a perch to sit on would be amazing! We would also love it if you let us watch kitty-cat TV from time to time and provide a small basket of toys for our amusement. Sadly, we came from a home filled with addiction, filth and a lot of people coming and going. We are so glad to be rescued and are relearning to trust humans, so we are still a little nervous and jumpy with sudden movements. But all of that is behind us now! We have been safe and happy with our Pet Haven foster and are so ready to find our forever home. We are confident that after a little time, we will gain trust and will be braver every day. We don't meow very much but when we say something, you will laugh as it comes out as a quiet little peep. We would be fine with a new stepbrother, sister or both, but we are not sure we've ever met a dog. We would love a new home filled with love where we feel safe and will love you right back. We came into our foster home with our mommy (Tasha), two older brothers (Scooter 1 & Scooter 2) and an older sister (Ninnie). If you are looking for a bigger kitty family, please check out their bios and let Pet Haven know. We have been spayed and neutered, fully vaccinated and are litterbox trained. Not one accident! Our rough start is behind us, and we are eager for all the cozy days ahead. If you’re ready to bring us (and/or any of our other family members) into your family, we would love to meet you! ------ Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? This 7-month-old orange-and-white kitten is a lovable "CatDog" who enjoys the best of both worlds. At 9.5 pounds and still growing into his big paws, Banjo is sure to keep you entertained with his burts of playful energy and his laid-back snuggles.

At 9.5 pounds and still growing into his big paws, Banjo is sure to keep you entertained with his burts of playful energy and his laid-back snuggles. Banjo loves to spend his days eating, lounging in his cat tree, and watching his foster siblings play. While he’s mostly low energy, he occasionally gets the zoomies and chases laser pointers. At night, he's a laid-back and snuggly boy who likes to sleep near his human. He’s content being held like a baby and is always curious about what his people are up to, following them around just like a loyal pup. Banjo currently lives in a bustling household with two cats, a foster sister, and two dogs. He's besties with the resident poodle in particular, probably because his play style is a bit rough, so his ideal companion would be a dog or cat who can match his energy—or just enjoy chilling alongside him. He thrives in the company of both cats and dogs, making him a perfect addition to a multi-pet household. Banjo is very easy to care for in his foster home. He has no known health issues, and has not been declawed while in our care. If you’re looking for a big, lovable kitten who’s as sweet as he is entertaining, Banjo is ready to join your family. Davey, No Longer Accepting Applications, f Female
Domestic Shorthair, 15 weeks
This spunky, fearless black-and-white kitten is bursting with energy! At just 3 months old, Davey is an independent, playful explorer who is ready to keep you entertained with the silly antics.
Davey spends her days chasing toys around the house, waking up her furry housemates with a little nibble, and finding cozy spots to relax when she’s all tuckered out. She thrives on activity, but doesn’t need constant interaction to stay entertained. She’s perfectly happy entertaining herself, running after laser pointers, or exploring every nook and cranny. When she’s ready to wind down, she’ll cuddle up with her humans—but only on her own terms. Currently living in a bustling household with two resident cats, a foster brother, and two dogs, Davey gets along well with everyone. She’s fearless, playful, and always ready to bop her housemates (or humans!) on the head in good fun. Davey has been very easy to care for in her foster home, and has no known health issues. She has not been declawed while in our care. Davey’s ideal home would include an older, patient cat or another playful kitten who enjoys chasing and wrestling. She loves being the baby of the group and has a knack for keeping everyone on their toes. Humans in her forever home should be ready to give her space and let her come to them for snuggles when she’s ready. Sebastian, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 7 months
This 7-month-old tabby kitten has the most adorable white mittens! Sebastian is a sweet boy on the shy side, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his affectionate personality shines through. When you earn his trust, he’ll reward you with purrs and gentle rubs, making every moment of patience worth it.
Because he is still learning to come out of his shell, he is selective when making friends with other cats—he gets along with some but not all—so a careful introduction to any resident cats will be important. He hasn’t met dogs yet, but could hopefully warm up to that in the future. Due to his shy nature, he is best suited for a home without children. Sebastian is very mellow, so his ideal home will be with a patient family in a quiet and peaceful home. He tends to hide beneath things but will come out for love and attention if approached slowly and gently. Once he feels at ease, Sebastian will prove to be a loving and devoted companion. Sebastian is not declawed and has no medical needs, so he will be ready for a healthy, happy future. Nutter Butter, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 2 years
Nutter Butter is a two-year old sweet, affectionate, playful orange boy, covered in handsomeness, who is looking for his forever home.
This handsome fellow is a long and lanky dude who loves curling up on your lap. He can do this for hours. When Nutter is scratched behind his ears or cheeks, he immediately tightly closes his eyes and revels in the love. He is also a guy who just likes to have fun. Nutter has never met a spring, toy mouse, or feather wand that he doesn't like. He loves chasing small toys and will sometimes bring them back to you to continue the game. But he can also self-entertain when needed. If you like company when brushing your teeth, he will always be there to support you. Nutter will do some roaming during the night, but he loves to start bedtime by stretching out on your chest. By the time morning comes along, he will likely be curled up next to you or occasionally under the comforter. Nutter's daily routine includes equal parts of cat naps, playing with toys, and asking for affection and attention. If he is disappointed when you've had enough playtime, he will gently put a paw on your leg to say, "don't go!" Nutter currently lives with two adults and two small dogs. The three animals coexist quite peacefully for the most part, but the dogs are pretty chill. Nutter tries to engage them, but they aren't very interested. Nutter would love to have a four-legged pal to play with and hang out. He's lived with cats in the past but prefers a quieter environment. As much as he'd like a friend, he would probably do better with fewer animals than a houseful. He's been exposed to children from 3-10 and has done well with them. If someone is willing to throw his toys to engage him, he doesn't care how old they are! Because he will sometimes raise a paw to keep your attention, he'd have to be supervised with young children. Nutter currently lives in a large home in the country. He has plenty of room to roam the house and he especially enjoys watching the small animals and birds in the yard. He also spends some time in a townhome in the city and has adapted well. It didn't take him long to find the best windows for animal-watching. While Nutter is a master napper, he needs attention and affection on a regular basis. He is equally happy to receive attention from men or women. Nutter is a master user of the litter box. It took Nutter about two seconds to climb into our hearts. He's a love and would be a wonderful cat for people who may not have a lot of cat experience. If you work from home or are around frequently and enjoy cat playtime (and perhaps have another calm furry friend at home?), please consider adding the lovely Nutter Butter to your family. Butterscotch, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 1 year
Butterscotch is a sweet, social, 1-year-old lady looking for her forever home! This adorable white-and-tabby gal likes to be with her people. She has normal young-adult cat energy, is very curious and wants to be in the middle of everything!
Butterscotch is a lovely girl. She is very much a “people cat” but can be choosy about her animal friends. She is slowly getting more comfortable around them, but slow intros are important for Butterscotch to know that she's not in danger. She is selective with cats (likes some, isn’t crazy about others), is not a dog fan, and would probably do okay with gentle, cat-savvy older kids (12 years old and up). This little lady currently lives with 3 adults, a German shepherd mix that she's very wary of, and 3 other resident cats in a single-family home. Butterscotch is looking for a home with a lot of windows and wildlife to watch. She likes to be with her people, and ""talks"" to everyone. She is friends with my male cat, who is 2 yrs old, but isn't a fan of my others, both male and female. After a rough beginning, Butterscotch needs to build confidence with a compassionate family who can help her feel safe and loved. Her adorable, chatty nature will bring lots of happiness to her forever home. She has her spay appointment on 2/2/25; after that, she’s ready to go. If you’re eager to add a sweet treat to your family, Butterscotch would love to meet you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Zuzu and Zana, Females
Domestic Shorthair, 6 months
Zuzu and Zana are sweet 6-month-old kittens looking for their purr-fect forever home! Zuzu is calmer and more reserved than her sister, while Zana is spunky, confident and playful. They are looking for a peaceful forever home, with compassionate humans who are okay letting these beautiful girls adapt to life at their own pace.
These magical Creamsicle playmates spend the day sleeping and evenings having fun like a lot of kittens. They adore their donut tunnel and cat tree. They love to play with their cat teaser. Zana will come for a cuddle quickly; Zuzu takes her time, but once everybody is calm, she makes her way over and is the sweetest cuddle buddy. They would love a heating pad or self-heating bed in their new home as that is their favorite place to cuddle up together. They’re the most gorgeous duo. They live with my 11-year-old child and me, along with our cranky middle-aged calico. They’ve met our cat briefly and watch each other through baby gates. They respond curiously and openly to their surroundings. These lovely girls would likely do well with younger playful cats, but older cats may be annoyed by their kitten behavior. They have a medium kitten energy level but can still engage in kitten shenanigans! I’d like them to go to a home with kids who are older than 8, who are also cat-savvy enough to let the kittens come to them. I also think they deserve all the attention unless there is a very balanced resident cat in the home. These lovely sisters haven’t met any dogs yet. These are extremely sweet and adorable kittens. They are really special in that they love each other so much but also have pretty different personalities, so they offer something for everyone. We can’t get over how sweet they are, plus, they are ridiculously beautiful. Zana and Zuzu would love to meet you! ----- Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Ainsley, Male
Domestic Shorthair, 7 months
Ainsley is a super-affectionate, 7-month-old guy looking for his forever home. This handsome tabby fellow is such a lover boy! He always wants to cuddle, and he will purr his way into your heart.
He likes to reach up to you as you walk by or jump on your back when you bend down to let you know he would like to be picked up and loved. He is very friendly and mellow but if you ignore him, he will give you a little love nibble to remind you that he needs a chin scratch. Ainsley has a decent amount of playful energy, but I honestly think he would rather cuddle. He currently has the run of a room in a house. His ideal home would be a place where he would get plenty of love and attention, possibly with other animals. He does well with other cats and with children but has never met a dog yet. He will need forever humans who work from home or are around a lot to give them the playtime and cuddles he values so much. Wouldn’t you like to have some playtime, followed by chill time on the couch with a book and this sweetie pie? If that sounds like the perfect way to relax, Ainsley has so much love to share with you! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Cuddles, Female,
Domestic Longhair, 5 years
Cuddles is a 4-year-old, beautiful long-haired tortoiseshell looking for a loving, peaceful, low-stress, forever home! The way to this sweet girl’s heart is through playing with her. She loves to play every day, hiding and chasing with wand toys, and sometimes gettign the zoomies when it’s time for a real cardio workout!
When it’s time for a rest, she will lie near you on the couch or nap with you on the bed. Cuddles likes to be in the same room with her human but doesn’t like to be picked up or petted too much. Cuddles is loving the cozy indoor life; she currently lives in a house with two older adults. Cuddles’ ideal home is a calm environment where she can feel safe and spend time together with her people. Humans who work from home or are around a lot are ideal. She does not do well with dogs, other cats, or young children; respectful, gentle, cat-savvy kids over 12 would be okay. This stunning girl will need to be brushed regularly to keep her gorgeous, long fur in tip-top shape and to prevent mats. She has allergies and needs a prescription-only diet; her forever people would have to commit to providing this for her so she can live a happy, healthy life. Cuddles is an affectionate, playful lady who just needs the right quiet, loving home where she can enjoy a serene life and gain confidence and trust. Yuumi, Female
Domestic Shorthair, 7 yrs
Yuumi is a 7-year-old, playful goofball looking for her forever home! She’s full of personality and affection, always wanting to be by your side.
While she enjoys her cat naps, Yuumi also has bursts of energy and loves to play. She'll happily chase after catnip toys and feather wands, claim the best window seat to watch squirrels and passing cars, and is also a skilled mouser. If she doesn’t get enough playtime, she might turn your feet into her next target! Once you become her person, she’ll spend many nights cuddled up next to you. Just be sure to keep an eye on your dinner plate—Yuumi is a sneaky food thief. Yuumi was found in a snowbank with severe frostbite, leading to nerve damage and her tail amputation. She has spent over a year recovering and adjusting to medications, proving to be one of the strongest, most resilient cats out there. She takes her meds like a champ and will shower you with love in return for your care. She is also slightly overweight and would benefit from a home where she can stay active. She thrives in a home where her humans are around often. When making friends, she also does well with older children (12+) who can respect her boundaries, as she can get overstimulated at times. Yuumi does not get along well with other cats and prefers to be the only cat in the home. If you’re looking for a spunky, loving, and playful companion who has overcome the odds, Yummi is ready to snuggle up to you! - - - - -- - - - There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal’s history is unknown. and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
