Adoptable Cats

To love Willow and Aspen is to totally luck out, in fact you might even consider trying the lottery tonight, that’s how lucky you are to find them. If I could describe these two bundles of joy in just two words it would be playful and affectionate. They LOVE LOVE LOVE being loved. They're always just a couple steps behind their humans, unless of course their human is sitting down, then they're on a lap or playing very nearby. Their playful nature keeps their humans endlessly entertained. They're self proclaimed "parkour masters"; and if they can find something to climb, there is a 100% chance they’ll be climbing it. Whether it’s a cat condo, book shelf, or even a human bending over, they love to climb and perch like parrots. They love any and all attention they can get. When their humans so much as look in their direction or begin to speak, their purr motors immediately begin to rumble. Aspen has the cutest little squeak to his purr and Willow’s purr can be felt to the core. Aspen has the cutest little chirp and loves to talk talk talk as he runs, explores and plays. We joke that in another life he might've been a singer. At night time, Willow and Aspen love to curl up on their foster human’s pillow for a good night's rest. Their aforementioned purr is like a built-in sound machine and reminds their foster human how lucky she is to be loved by such precious souls. More than anything in the world Willow and Aspen love each other. They have an inseparable bond and do absolutely everything together. If they’re running and playing, they’re doing it together. If they’re sun bathing and napping, they’re doing it together. In fact, oftentimes if one of them is in the litter box, the other one is too, either joining in a bathroom break, playing with their sibling’s tail or getting a head start on covering their sibling's potty. These kiddos have conquered so much together and their relationship and bond is a testament to their strength. When I say "conquered so much together" I really mean it. They were found as dehydrated and emaciated 5-week-old kittens living in extremely unsanitary conditions. Their first foster mom carefully and diligently nursed them back to health, including vet visits and stays, IV fluids, detailed feeding schedules and lots and lots of TLC. Now, 11 weeks later Aspen and Willow are nearly unrecognizable. They have quadrupled in weight and their skinny frames have been replaced with fat and happy bellies (SO cute). The only thing left over from those days are Willow’s scraggly whiskers, which just add to her adorable charm. Willow and Aspen now relish in the good ole life, enjoying all the fabulous things that come with being spoiled and loved little kittens. Willow and Aspen are extremely curious, adaptable, and versatile. They’ve lived in 2 different foster homes and adjusted pretty easily both times. They currently live in a foster home with 2 humans, 2 resident cats and a resident dog. They do great with other cats and children, and have not yet met the resident dog, although their adaptable demeanor would suggest that with slow controlled introductions they would adjust well to most any home. Ideally, they would spend forever with humans who are around a lot and are excited to include Willow and Aspen in all of their day to day activities. The more attention they can get, the better! Aspen and Willow have their foster human absolutely wrapped around their little paws. Their love, loyalty and affectionate nature reminds their foster humans of all the goodness in the world. They are the best part of our day, and whoever is lucky enough to spend forever with these precious souls will no doubt feel the same way. Bubbles is a handsome and gentle guy who likes to spend his time playing with toys, sleeping, and looking out the window. He is affectionate and loves to rub his head on his humans and be petted. He secretly enjoys being picked up and cuddled, although he is not yet a lap cat. This lovely guy has a medium energy level—sometimes he likes to play with toys, and sometimes he has a great time just being a couch potato (don’t we all?). He is a fan of nibbling on plants, so either skip the greenery or make sure to only have a few non-toxic ones. Bubbles currently lives in a multiple level townhouse with two adults. He will thrive in a calm environment with loving adults who are around a lot, and calm, cat-savvy older children. He is a beautiful, gentle cat, so ready to add his unique charm to his forever home. Pepper is super-friendly and outgoing, while Salt is a little more reserved, but is a huge cuddle bug once he is used to you! These two kittens are goofy, funny boys. They are typical high-energy kittens, playing and napping hard! The ideal home for these sweet boys would be someone who enjoys kitten shenanigans and is happy to engage with them in their friendly, energetic life. A home with another cat or dog could be a good fit as well; these sweeties currently live in an apartment in Minneapolis with two resident cats with whom they get along splendidly. Despite her rough start, she’s been a devoted, loving mama to her three babies—Stormy, Cloud, and Smudge—and now it’s her turn to be cared for and cherished. This beautiful girl is incredibly affectionate with people. She adores getting pets, seeks out attention, and has a calm, soulful presence that makes her feel like an old friend. But don’t let her gentle nature fool you—she also has a playful streak! This active gal still romps around the house with her kittens, chasing toys and joining in the fun like one of the crew. She shares a special bond with her son, Cloud, and the two would love to be adopted together. Their relationship is sweet and comforting—Cloud looks to Misty for reassurance, and Misty clearly enjoys mothering him a little longer. Misty also has perfect litterbox habits! Misty lives with her babies in a home with other resident cats and a dog. Since she was nursing, I did not let her mix much with my resident animals. She has shown curiosity about getting to know my cats as she has started to wean the kittens. Though a little shy at first, once Cloud feels at home, he reveals his sweet, affectionate side. He’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly—always up for a game of chase, but just as happy to curl up next to you when it’s time to recharge. Cloud lives with his mom, brother and sister and with other resident cats and a dog. He would best thrive in a home with another playful young cat or kitten to keep him company. He’s also very bonded to his mama, Misty, and would love to be adopted with her. Misty’s gentle, loving presence helps Cloud feel secure, and together they make a truly heartwarming pair, as Misty is outgoing and loves human company. Her athletic leaps over them are pure comedy gold! Don’t let her sweet face fool you—Smudge is a fearless little firecracker. She isn’t afraid to swipe at the adult cats in her foster home, even though they’re four times her size! But after a good play session, she mellows out into a cuddly, affectionate companion who loves human attention. Smudge would thrive in a home with another playful kitten or young cat to match her energy—either one of her siblings, or to a home with an active young resident cat to show her the ropes. She currently lives with her mom and two brothers in a home with resident cats and a dog. She’d also be a perfect match if adopted with her mom, Misty, or her brother, Cloud. If you're looking for a kitten who is equal parts spunky and sweet, Smudge is your girl!

Peanut Butter is a special little Munchkin. He was born the smallest of his litter and developed differently than other kitties. He appeared to be a boy at first, but the vet stated that he is neither a male nor female, but intersex. He was spayed but nothing male or female was found. So, he is currently healing from a large incision but doing well. I’ve been calling PB a “he,” but I am sure “s/he or they” would be just fine with Peanut Butter. Peanut Butter is adorable—he looks more baby-like and likely always will. He has a stout body, a short, bent tail, and is very bow-legged. As stated, he drinks a ton and pees a lot, but per the vet he has no kidney issues. I have several water stations around the house for all the cats, but especially for Peanut Butter. Also, PB loves to EAT. He needs to rest more and appears to need to go to sleep sooner than the others. His forever humans will need to be committed to helping him continue to live his best, healthy life by making sure he gets plenty of water, frequently cleaned litter boxes (I use clumping sand), and all the rest he needs. Peanut Butter and Scooter also both appear to have feline herpes, which is not a big deal—it’s easy to treat and I’m happy to share tips! Scooter occasionally gets an ulcerated nostril, so he has a salve prescribed by the vet that keeps him feeling his best. Peanut Butter and Scooter both are active kitties who love the tunnels, and many toys. They are both instant purr-ers who love to snuggle up on the couch with each other and with their person, or another household kitty. Jumping and scrambling to grab the feathered wand is a huge hit, but they are just as happy in a box, rummaging in a paper bag or chasing a tin foil ball. Peanut Butter can be immediately engaged when the feathered wand comes out, (as can all the kitties) he carries it around the house and can tear across the floor with the best of them to get at that curious feathered end. Scooter is especially curious, and sometimes talkative—he is very responsive to his people. In contrast to his more curious brother, Peanut Butter is often hunkered down in the sitting chicken position on a rug in the sun—this guy just moves a little slower. PB can get underfoot as he doesn’t respond as Scooter does if a human stands or moves too close. Anyone lucky enough to adopt these two will need to always be aware of PB’S whereabouts, to avoid stepping on him. (This is especially true during high-traffic moments like feeding time.) Both boys are very sweet, easy kittens to have around, adaptable to whatever routine the human sets. Scooter must have a bit of puppy in him as he carries his beloved plastic spring toys in his mouth around the house, brings them to me to throw across the room, and retrieves them over and over. Scooter can also be an observer, but he is an active guy—he loves running about, playing with another kitten in the house, or by himself. This guy is a happy kitten. They both get a lot of exercise in this household. Peanut Butter loves to get into bed with me, under the down comforter, cuddle close, and sleep. He also loves his furry donut, and his cozy cave. Both boys also enjoy climbing on the tall cat tree, scratching the sisal post, and ambushing each other. The boys also love staring out the window at the bird feeder watching their favorite show, “Goldfinch,” every day. These sweethearts are not shy; they easily engage new people and other animals. They have been living in a large home with an 85 pound, 9-year-old male golden doodle, one retired adult female human, and three female cats/kittens (aged 14 years, 15 months, and 7 months). They have access to several levels of the home, thus racing up and down staircases chasing each other to great enjoyment. I suspect if you asked them, they’d love a similar environment in their forever home. Peanut Butter and Scooter are used to a me being around a lot since I am retired. They play hard together but can happily go off to their own play, or rest at will. They enjoy having activity in the home, and especially love having their person pay attention to them and play with them. A retired or work-from-home person would be best! Due to some tough experiences in their original home with a “protection dog,” I do not recommend the boys go to a home with a rowdy or aggressive dog—but a calm, gentle canine friend would likely be well accepted. Because Peanut Butter is a unique being, and needs more attention due to his special qualities, only experienced cat person(s) would be the best fit for these little loves. These sweethearts had a very hard start for such young boys, but they have thrived in their cozy, affectionate foster home, and would love to continue their peaceful journey with the right patient, compassionate, cat-savvy humans. She has endless energy, a playful spirit, and is always the last to settle in for a nap. Her vibrant personality shines through in her sassy tortie antics! She's always up for a chase, a game of pounce with her best buddy Rich, or a session with her favorite wand toy. While she knows how to be independent, she also loves to cuddle up for a quiet moment after a busy day of playing with Rich. Rich boasts a beautiful soft grey coat with light swirly for marking. He is a delightful combination of all-out and all-in: he loves to explore and play with endless energy, darting after toys and engaging in enthusiastic zoomies for the wand toy. When playtime is over, Rich transforms into a cuddle-bug. He adores snuggling up on his back lounging with his humans or snuggling up with his favorite pal, Val! Rich is a pro at soaking up love, whether it's through snuggles, back scratches, or a good brushing session. Both kittens are pros at using the scratching post, litter box, and are easily handleable! Val and Rich are seeking out a family that works from home, is around a lot, and has time to devote to their playful kitten energy! Both kittens have spent some time with children and have done very well when boundaries are respected! Neither kitten has met a dog. She’s a beautiful girl with muted grey and cream tabby markings. Marylou is a friendly and affectionate kitten who loves to be around her humans and her best buddy James. She enjoys playing with her feathered wand toy or chasing a toy mouse around, and when she's ready for a snuggle, she'll purr like a little engine in your lap or snuggle up with James in the cat tree. This girl also loves to explore and will keep you entertained with her playful spirit. James is a handsome and charming grey tabby with the purrfect combination of playful and snuggly traits. He loves to chase after toys, nap in the cat tree, and play with MaryLou. When playtime is over, James transforms into a sweet cuddle bug and seeks out a cozy spot with a human or his pal MaryLou. He loves to be picked up and will purr loudly as he snuggles up for some serious cuddle time. Both kittens are pros at using the scratching post and the litter box and can easily be handled! MaryLou and James are looking for a family that works from home or is around a lot, with lots of time to devote to their playful kitten energy! She enjoys her wand toy and looking out the window. Although she may be hesitant at first, she soon adjusts to a new home and wants to interact with her human. Luna does not like to be picked up, but she loves having her chin scratched and having her back and head brushed. She is not much of a cuddler, but she will sit next to you and, occasionally, will snuggle up on your lap. When she’s ready to get some pets, this pretty girl is likely to put her head under your hand so you get the message! Luna is a curious, adventurous girl, ready to explore all the different rooms in the house. She has not used scratching pads but has been very respectful of the furniture. This lovely lady uses the litter box with no problem. Luna currently lives in a home with one adult and no other animals. With patience and allowing time to adjust to new surroundings, she will win your Heart. She would thrive with humans who work from home or are around a lot to engage with her, give her lots of love, and help her feel confident in her forever home. Could that be with you?

His favorite thing is to be held and cuddled, and he thinks everyone is his best friend. He has the loudest purr that he shows off constantly. Howl has lots of kitten energy and loves to play, especially with balls and feather toys. He also enjoys climbing, exploring, and wrestling with his siblings. Howl currently lives in a house in the suburbs with two adult humans, his mom and siblings, and lots of other cats. He has met kids and dogs in the past and did great with them! This sweetheart would do well any home where he can get lots of attention and some room to play! He could be a good fit for a busy or noisy home that might be too much for a less confident cat. Because he is less than six months old, he will need to go home with another active young feline friend, to help him grow into the best cat he can be. He can be adopted with one of his siblings, Haku or Kiki, or go to a home that already has a friendly cat. She has a confident personality and knows when she wants affection and when she needs a little space to herself; she will give a little love nip if she is feeling overwhelmed by affection. A discerning gourmet, Poppy is always present if wet food is being served, since it's her favorite. She has been an attentive mother to her 3-month-old kittens and is now ready to be pampered in her forever home. This lovely mama is outgoing and ready to explore her environment, taking in all around her. Poppy's energy level has been fairly mild. She has been spending the last 3 months taking amazing care of her kittens, with little time to herself. Her playful side has yet to emerge, but I know when she can focus her energy on her own needs and playtime interests, this beautiful girl will begin to engage with the world of wands and spring toys! Poppy currently lives in a foster home with her four kittens. There are 2 adults and 3 older children in the home that she does great with. She is learning to not care about the dogs in the home and seems indifferent to the other cats if her kittens aren't present. Poppy's ideal home is a quiet or moderately active home that will provide her with love. She could be happy as an only cat, provided her humans are around to spend time with her, or live peacefully with another friendly cat. She seems fine with dogs that ignore her. She will also need people who are willing to regularly brush her lovely fur, to keep her looking and feeling her best. She is super sweet and enjoys getting pets, even curling up next to her humans when the house is quiet. Her confidence comes out when other friendly cats are around and the home is calm. During the day she likes to find a private, quiet place to sleep and comes out once evening arrives. She isn't noisy at night so there is no worry about her causing a ruckus when her people are sleeping. When she is feeling comfortable and playful, she chases her tail and sometimes even catches it! Cookie's energy level is moderately- ow. She is happy to burn off a little energy with another friendly cat or bat a toy around on her own, but she spends most of her time relaxing and napping. Her awake periods are fairly quiet. This pretty girl currently lives in a foster home with 2 adults, other cats, dogs, and 3 older children. She tends to stay on the main level and is getting braver every day. Cookie's ideal home is a quiet one that also has another friendly cat she can bond with; she can also go home with my other foster cat Banksy, who is also an orange tabby. A calm home is key for her to feel comfortable. This lovely gal will thrive with patient, loving forever humans who can give her the affection and space she needs to blossom into her sweet self.

Olive has completed her duties raising five beautiful kittens and is ready to find her furever home with a family that has time to love on her, play with her, and settle in for the snuggles she deserves after all that hard work! Olive loves to spend her days watching wildlife out the window, curled up for a good nap, and chasing after the wand toy. She is a bit reserved upon first meeting new people but quickly warms up and is sweet and social. Given her young age, she has plenty of energy for treat puzzles and toy wands of which she will run and leap into the air to try to catch! This beauty is ready to find her forever family, a home where she can be the playful companion you've always dreamed of. We believe Olive would really like another kitty companion as she has shown signs of being very interested in the other cats in her foster home. Olive’s ideal home would be with another Pet Haven kitty or to a place with an active young resident cat to show her the ropes. Olive is handle-able and does well around cat savvy, gentle older children. She has not been introduced to dogs. She has been cohabitating with her kittens and is still mothering them. We believe she will turn into a snuggle bug as she loves human attention and often curls up near us for a nap. Olive will be ready to go home following her final vetting on July 22. Nana is a brave buccaneer who lost one eye lost in The Battle of Eye Infection, which tragically plagues so many in the world of cat rescue. Princess has a beautiful, rumbling purr to draw in unsuspecting humans so she can slay their hearts with adoration. She also has one eye which struggles with a viral condition but is fully functional. Together, they are a perfect privateer pair of renegade sweethearts! These loving swashbucklers enjoy getting pets, playing with toys, and lounging. They have a medium energy level and would thrive in a clean, quiet home with low activity due to their FIV+ status. Nana and Princess are both FIV+, but that doesn’t mean they can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. It is not transmissible to humans or to dogs. This guy loves to nap but is always interested in company. When he hears or notices humans in his home, he wants to be around them all the time even if he’s just observing. But if you want to pet him for hours? Score! He’s super chill and loves to lounge more than anything. This handsome orange boy currently lives in a house, but I actually think he would prefer an apartment. He will thrive in any environment, but he is blind in one eye, so less space to monitor is kind of nice since he has some vision issues. Plus, a smaller space means he can be in closer proximity to his humans! 🙂 Timber is getting some teeth removed so he will need a partial or full wet food diet (we will see if he will still eat dry food after his surgery. He does eat some dry food now, even though his mouth is currently a bit painful). Timber is also FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats can live with FIV negative cats in stable, indoor-only social environments. She is the ultimate master of sneaking up on her siblings, loves to get the zoomies, and loves batting toys around. Her absolute favorite thing to do is hanging out on the tall cat tree. Whether she’s snoozing away or monitoring her siblings’ playtime, you can almost guarantee that Spicy will be up on her perch, surveying her domain! She is a playful and curious kitten who loves zooming around, playing with toys and her littermates, napping hard, then repeating the cycle again! Spicy Queso roams freely in a spacious bedroom with her playful littermates and her sweet stripey Mom. This sweetie pie is the most cautious when it comes to humans touching her, so going to a home with one of her littermates (Gordita, Chalupa, or Baja Blast!) is a key to helping her gain confidence. She would do best in a quieter home with compassionate humans who respect that she’ll need extra time to decompress and to come out of her shell. Spicy Queso has not yet been introduced to dogs or other cats (besides her littermates and Mom). She would likely do okay with an older, low-energy dog or cat after slow and proper introductions. This lovely lady is so ready to brighten your day with her playful antics and sweet presence. She just needs some time to feel safe and loved in her new home. Could that be with you?

Gordita has freedom to roam in a large bedroom with her littermates and her doting Mom. Her confidence and bravery grow every day, but she is still learning to trust and enjoy human touch. For this reason, a home with patient forever humans is a must. She would also be happiest in a home with one of her littermates—Chalupa, Spicy Queso, or Baja Blast! Gordita has not yet been introduced to dogs or other cats (besides her littermates and her Mom), but she has the potential to do okay with slow and proper introductions due to her age. Dom is a handsome tuxedo fellow and is your lovable cowardly lion aka the best cuddle monster. Once comfortable, Dom is a singer—he’ll sing for you and his brother Winston, whether he’s happy, teasing, or excited to see you. While adjusting to new homes or people, though, Dom can stay quite distant or hesitant for a while. His brother Winston slowly helps him adventure and demonstrate the home’s safety—and Dom soon catches on. Dom’s personality is all cuddle and wonder—he’ll happily take the crook of your arm while on the couch or find a small blanket to sit atop; he also loves to hang his head from high spaces and gaze around. Dom spends his day sleeping, trying to catch the laser pointer, and tagging along and playing backup with his beloved brother Winston on his adventures. Winston is your new right-hand man. He’s energetic, goofy, and interested in everything, and able to play nonstop with you or his brother Dom. Winston’s personality is a lovable goofball. He’s talkative and loves to talk to you even though he can’t speak human. Once he’s comfortable, this handsome guy will be your best buddy—staying nearby when play resumes. Winston spends his day watching the squirrels outside, chasing balls around the living room or sleeping in his plush cat bed. Like a dog, Winston will often offer you a few licks to let you know he’s in for some lovin’—the chin’s the spot. Winston prefers a deep neck and chest scratch; whereas Dom much prefers a chin, back and butt rub. The happiest part of Winston’s day is playtime. His energy level is high. Alongside his brother, Winston’s energy can always match if he’s not already the instigator of playtime with Dom. Together, Dom and Winston are two little best friends who are looking for a home where they can be their joyous, energetic selves. Dom much prefers a chin, back and butt rub, whereas Winston prefers a deep neck and chest scratch. Both brothers play quite a bit with each other. When you’re lucky enough to witness this, it’s an adorable bedlam of snowball paws and fluffy slam-downs by the boys. They love to chase each other and wrestle—who wins is still undecided. Dom and Winston currently live in a three-floor townhome and can comfortably navigate throughout. These adorable brothers are happiest in homes with at least one large space or hallway for running and chasing each other. Rugs or carpets help, so they can practice their zoomies. They are strictly indoor cats. Dom and Winston would ideally thrive in a home that’s familiar with the quirks and behavior of cats. Once he feels comfortable and relaxed, this handsome guy will be your shoulder-crook cuddle partner in any space after your relationship grows. Until then, Dom takes much longer than Winston to adjust to new spaces and people. He’s also more sensitive to loud noises, bangs or stomping in the home by tall people. During the first three weeks in his new space, Dom will mostly hide; slowly, he will begin to observe you and the home from safe distances. But with time, and successful tips you’ll receive from his foster parent, Dom will become comfortable in no time. This dynamic duo can bring lots of love, fun, wrestling, and joy to your home. Mister is a fun, carefree, and affectionate cat. He is both the sweetest and sometimes the craziest boy, who only knows how to love and play. He does not know how to stop purring. He will follow you around the house and happily hang out with you all day long. Mister likes to show affection by rubbing his head on your legs, hands, face, and anything else you may allow. He is happiest when he is around his people. This guy loves his playtime. He gets random bursts of energy that result in wild zoomies around the house. He likes to chase toys, climb cat trees, wrestle with Dixie, and is gentle and considerate when playing with his people. He is a lot of fun to watch and to interact with; he leaves us laughing and loving him every day. Mister loves everyone and everything. Dixie is a sweet, playful, and curious cat. She can be quiet and reserved at first and takes a little bit of time to warm up. Once she gets comfortable, she is a snuggler. This pretty stripey girl will join you on the couch and likes to lie down in your lap, even if it means sitting on top of Mister or kicking him off to do so. The way to Dixie’s heart is definitely through play. She loves toys, especially if it is something she can chase. Dixie is a beautiful and easy-going companion who also adapts and adjusts well. They both have a moderate energy level, often switching between cuddles and play. Mister and Dixie came to us battling chronic upper respiratory symptoms. After some attentive care and a few medications, they are doing much better. Since some of the symptoms are chronic, they are both on a long-term antibiotic. They do very well and have minimal symptoms while on the medication. They both get a small amount of the liquid medication once every other day. They are very easy to give medications to and tolerate it well. Mister was found to have some urinary crystals and was switched to a prescription urinary diet. He has done wonderfully on the diet and has no urinary symptoms. He also has mild asthma, a low-grade heart murmur, and tested positive for FIV. He shows no symptoms and none of these affect his day-to-day life. None of this means he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats (like Dixie) in stable social environments. Mister’s confidence and worry-free attitude often help Dixie come out of her shell. These two are a perfect example of a truly bonded pair. They currently live on the lower level of a house with 3 people. They have their own room that they stay in when no one is home; they freely roam the house when people are home. Mister and Dixie are very adaptable and adjust well. They would do well in nearly any home, but their ideal place would have people who are around a lot and who would really enjoy playing with them, cuddling them, and just soaking up their wonderful company and affection.

Rachel enjoys playing with her spring! She loves taking it into the tub and we have been working on her to bring it to us so she can play fetch. Monica and Phoebe have fun when you drag a string around, or you will catch them watching the birds. These little sweeties have the tiniest little baby meows. I call Phoebe my little M&M because she just melts in your arms and has started to sleep by my legs under the covers. All three will lie down together, either next to you or on the cat towers. Monica is super sweet and cute; she will often rest on my chest for chin scratches and pets. All three are respectful of your beauty sleep, and will let you sleep until you wake up. Rachel comes in first place in the High-Energy Derby, always wanting to play and ready to romp around, followed by Monica who plays but also likes to chill. Phoebe plays a little bit, but she mostly just likes to look pretty all day. These three beauties currently live in a house with me (their foster parent) and my 14-year-old son. The girls would thrive in a home with humans who can spread their attention to all three cats. A house might be a better fit for their space needs--or a really big townhome or apartment. He loves roaming around his home, window-watching, and finding vertical spaces where he can observe the household activity from above. While he enjoys a good nap, this busy guy also has bursts of energy and loves to play. Once he warms up to you, he’ll be your best friend—always wanting to be nearby and ready for cuddles. He knows how to switch between full-on cardio sessions and peaceful slumber throughout the day. Stitch currently lives with two adults and one male cat. He would thrive in a loving home that gives him space to explore and plenty of cozy spots to relax. He’s a big fan of high up spots where he can perch and watch the household activity from above. Stitch does well with children and other animals, especially if they’re gentle and respectful of his space. He would definitely love having a playful cat companion to keep him company. This loving guy is so ready to settle into his lifelong home. Patient, caring humans who allow him time to warm up will be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate, and cuddly friend. Tux is the dapper, formally dressed happy-go-lucky guy who is the friendliest cat in town! Tux is a friend to all people and likes to spend his days getting affection and attention, eating yummy treats, and snoozing! Tux will play when his feline bff Kiwi plays or his people play, but he usually doesn't engage in play by himself. He doesn't "zoom” ...this guy is chill. Tux is pretty much happy to go along with whatever you put in front of him - if you want to play, he wants to play; if you want to nap and cuddle, he wants to nap and cuddle. He is a sweet, amenable guy who just wants to hang out with his buddies and have fun! Kiwi is the beautiful tabico and is one of the sweetest cats I've ever met. She lives for attention and cuddles and will follow you around, wanting to be by your side—or ideally, in your lap and anywhere you go. Kiwi will gamely bat at a feather toy, she'll sit and look out the window when there are no people around, and she enjoys sleeping in her soft cat bed. But more than anything she wants attention, touch, and companionship from people. She will make a great couch potato/Netflix companion/book reading buddy for someone! This super-affectionate girl has not been displaying many ""zoomies”—for her, it’s all about the cuddles. Both Kiwi and Tux are FELV+. Because Kiwi and Tux are FeLV+, they cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Kiwi and Tex maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life. You'll never have trouble finding him! He is also a champ using the litter box. Tux and Kiwi are currently living in the cat foster room of their fosters house. Because he is FELV+, he cannot be out and about in the main area of my house due to my other cats. He loves being with his buddy Kiwi and is perfectly content with a full bowl of food at breakfast and dinner time, a big window to look out of, and a soft napping place on the bed. He loves both humans in the house. He hasn't met any dogs, but he is so friendly with other cats and people that he would probably do just fine after a proper introduction. Gentle kids over 12 would be great too. Kiwi especially would thrive in a home with someone who can give her LOTS of attention. Someone retired or who works from home, whose lap she can sit on all day, would be ideal—or perhaps a child-free millennial who wants to smother a cat with their love 😊 Tux and Kiwi are a precious duo with so much love to give. This spunky guy LOVES to play at any moment; he is a super-energetic tuxedo man! His favorite toys are string toys that he can chase, jump, and flip after. This nonstop action dude lives with his three siblings in their own room of a house. He has met the two resident cats and the large-breed resident dog. Within minutes of meeting the resident dog, Zuko was ready to play! (A bigger playmate is a fun playmate, right?) Zuko would love a house that lets him thrive in his super-speed and string-hunting abilities. He also would love to have another pet sibling he can play and roughhouse with. He will need to go home with one of his siblings, or to a home with an active, rough-and-tumble young resident cat to show him the ropes and join him in wrestling matches. She’ll ask for belly rubs and head scratches, and you’ll instantly hear her loud purrs! She will also let you hold her little paw 🙂 Faena loves to explore the room she’s in — she’s active and likes to chase wands and feathers but she’ll eventually settle down next to you on the couch or in a cat tree. She loves to be up high. Initially a little shy, this pretty girl warms up to you quickly. She is a cat who will love you back — she’ll greet you with her meows when you come back home and circle your legs, asking for pets. She’s a lively cat — young and strong. She likes to watch the birds out the window, but she also enjoys basking in a sunny spot in your apartment. She likes to be in the same room as you are and will likely move locations when you do. Faena lives in a duplex with two adults and one cat. The resident cat doesn't like her very much, but her previous owner said Faena had lived with other cats before and got along great with them. Faena’s ideal home has a lot of comfy spots to hang out in -- and a cat tree! She would do well with other cats and would be great with kids, since she's playful and gentle. She also would do well in an environment where she can spend time with her favorite people — with cat parents who work from home, for example. First up, Thomas! This fluffy boy LOVES people and affection but also loves to play. As soon as he finds a comfy spot on your lap, he may also see something move that he needs to go inspect. As soon as he is done investigating, he will come running and flop back into your lap. He earned the nickname Tom Foolery because he must check out everything and will play with anything! If you bring home groceries, they must be investigated. If you pull out clean laundry, he's going to test its warmth. if your kids play with nerf guns, bullets on the ground or in the air are fair game. Thomas took a little longer to brave the great upstairs and meet the resident dog than his brothers but, now that he has overcome that fear, he does not willingly go to his room at bedtime. This handsome boy has been very respectful of the resident cat who is still adjusting to her new lot as a ""big sister."" She has made it known that she would like her space, and Thomas has been great at finding people and his brothers to play with instead. This cutie pie has a medium energy level. He has his playful moments when he must inspect things and loves chasing things and batting stuff around but he is also good at calming down and cuddling. Next up, Miles! This fluffy-haired cutie is the most independent of the litter. He was the first one to brave the upstairs and meet the resident dog (a 70-lb. shepherd). He is very confident and eager to be with people. Miles has a medium energy level—he loves to play and zoom around, but also loves his pets, snuggles, and cuddle time when he is ready to relax. These handsome boys currently live with their two brothers, a resident cat, a resident dog, three kids (ages 7, 9, and 11) and two adults. Miles and Thomas love people, so the more the merrier would be ideal for them. Miles will not back down to the resident dog and will let her know when he's annoyed with her attempts at sniffing him. I think he will do fine in a home with a respectful dog. This beautiful pair is super-confident and friendly! They have zero concept of “stranger danger” and immediately become best friends with any humans they meet. Being mom and daughter, they have been inseparable since Moxie was born and are absolutely bonded to each other. Some of their favorite activities together include having wrestling matches, sneaking up on each other, playing with toys together, and cuddling up together for bath time and a nap. Marigold is a very chatty cat. She loves to talk to you about all things with her chirps, meows, and purrs - you'll never have to guess what she's thinking! When not chatting with her people or receiving pets, this beautiful tabico mama loves to spend her time looking out the window watching all the birds, bunnies, or people walking by. When Moxie isn't hanging out with her mom, whom she absolutely adores, she's often busy playing with all her favorite toys! This lovely gray and white cutie-pie loves springs, wand toys, balls of paper, plush mice, tunnels - just about anything that can be played with! She's beginning to follow mom's lead with enjoying looking out the window, but sometimes that is just too boring, and she wants some more excitement. When she finally tires herself out, she loves to curl up on the couch for a nap! If you're sitting on the couch, she'll come curl up right next to you for some cuddles. Being young cats, Marigold and Moxie are high energy and will need regular play times and daily activity. The good news is that they absolutely love to play together and always help each other get their energy out! This stunning pair currently live in a single-family home with two humans. If the space they're in is kitten-proofed and cleared of things they can get in trouble with, they are quite well behaved for their ages. While they haven't met children younger than 10 years old, these lovely ladies are very tolerant and could handle well-behaved, gentle kids who are taught to respect their boundaries. Marigold and Moxie would love a home with a bit of space to run and play! They really enjoy having windows to look outside at wildlife or people walking by. It's not necessary, but definitely a bonus if your house has stairs because Moxie loves to play on them! These bonded gals absolutely love spending time with their humans and would thrive in a busy household with people who work from home or are home often, and who enjoy kitten/young cat shenanigans. The boys would thrive in a peaceful home with someone who understands that love isn’t always instant—but when it’s earned, it’s the most special kind. She loves to sit on your lap and is extremely affectionate when she’s in the mood for pets! Nadja will let you know when she doesn’t feel like being petted, but she always loves to be around you and will be your little shadow! This lovely lady is very calm. She loves to play but spends most of her day calmly exploring or napping. Most of her daily exercise comes from her evening zoomies or play time with her feather-on-a-stick toy. This sweet girl currently lives with one human and no other pets in a large apartment. She has lived with a dog before but is highly selective about dog and cat friends (she likes some, and others...not so much). Nadja’s ideal home is calm, with only one (if any) other pets and no young children. She would do fine with gentle, cat-savvy children over 12. Her forever people would also have to be okay with brushing her long fur, to keep her looking and feeling her best. I am very reserved at first, and will hide, but once I get to know you, I will be your best friend. I love to come up to you for pets; you’ll also find me lounging around, taking naps, and watching my fave episodes of Bird TV. Toys are great, too--I like to play with wands, as well as anything with catnip in it. I am a bit of a fluffy guy that could really benefit from the active life, so I would really appreciate someone who could take time to play with me every day. I currently live with 3 adult humans in a house, along with three other cats that I’ve met from afar. I love my food, but I am currently on a weight-loss journey to keep me healthy and happy, so I will need caring people to keep me on a feeding schedule of healthy food. My ideal environment will be a quiet and low-stress home with no young children. I have only met other cats from a distance, but it's possible that with patience and slow introduction I may get along with another mellow cat. I am a big guy with a big heart, and I can’t wait to meet you!

He does get chatty with us when we leave his room to do other things, because he was found living outside and doesn’t want to be left alone. This sweetheart just needs a bit of time to become more confident and secure in a loving home. Right now, Tomm has medium energy. He is more interested in snuggling and affection than playing, but that will probably change once he is comfortable with his forever family and can let all his zoomies out. Tomm currently lives in his spacious basement quarters, which he has all to himself. There are other cats in the home, but he has not fully healed from his neuter surgery yet, so he hasn’t met any of them. This snuggly man would thrive in any home that is filled with love and is permanent! He has spent enough time alone outside, so he should only be kept indoors unless he has a nice, safe, fully enclosed catio! He likes to give sweet kisses, but if he gets excited, he will also unintentionally give a few gentle love bites; gentle redirection by offering a toy or more snuggles is an easy fix. Tomm is a young guy, but he has seen more than enough of the outdoor life. This guy is so ready to know only a soft bed, warm sunlight, and lots of affection with his compassionate, permanent family. Mostly, she just purrs loudly and likes to sit right next to her humans. She occasionally makes cute sounds to communicate. She also loves to lay in silly positions. Lilu is mid-low energy. Her energy is very normal for a cat her age. She can still actively move around but does not get the zoomies. She just likes to follow people around and be right by their side, but not in an overly clingy way. This sweet girl currently lives with two adults and no other animals or children. Previously she spent 11 years living with a couple, a dog, and two children under the age of 5. Lilu would do well in a variety of settings given her flexible nature. When new people come over to the house, she is likely to hide at first but will come out on her own terms once she is comfortable. The most important factor in a home for Lilu is having forever humans who can give her a lot of physical affection with head scratches and pets. Someone who works from home or is around frequently would be ideal! This pretty lady is very comfortable with her nails being trimmed, being put into a crate, being brushed, etc. She also does not mind taking medicine mixed into her food. She uses her litter box like a champ, and prefers clay litter. Her current foster family not yet introduced her to a harness outside, but her previous family said she enjoys the outdoors. In her future home, gentle walks on a harness, or a fully enclosed, safe catio might be fun for her. Most of all, Lilu just wants to give and receive lots of love and attention as she moves toward her golden years. If you’d like all the ginger joy this summer, Lilu is ready to meet you!

In her foster home, Rainbow is beginning to enjoy the presence of other cats, often grooming one of her newfound feline friends. She would be happy as a solo pet, or in a home with a friendly resident cat. As for her humans? Pure trust and endless affection. All she wants is a cozy lap and a connection with her favorite people. She is made to be your best friend- are you hers? She’s spayed, litter box pro, and has that perfect mix of couch potato vibes with spurts of whimsical energy. One moment she’s curled up like royalty, the next she’s zooming around like a tiny tornado of fun.

Elsie has all the best characteristics in a kitten. She is playful and adventurous, and then snuggly and sweet when she gets worn out. She loves to climb in laps to have a snuggle. This pretty girl also loves wand toys and wrestling with her siblings. She is always the first of her litter to climb to new places to explore. Her bff Jersey is a goofy boy who loves to hide in cardboard boxes and make flailing attempts at catching wand toys in the air. He loves to climb onto human shoulders to perch. Jersey makes his foster mom and dad laugh we he growls at fabric knots and plush mice toys. This handsome snow-white sweetie is super playful until he is tired. If you catch him napping in a sunny spot and give him chin scratches, you are almost guaranteed instant purrs. Elsie and Jersey have a strong bond; they are usually found sleeping and playing together. The kittens are full of kitten hi-jinks and play, chase, and wrestle for hours in the morning and evening. They have sleepy afternoons and are generally quiet overnight. Elsie and Jersey live with two adults. They are comfortable around new people, and they did great with older children and teenagers. However, the high-pitched noise and quick movements of young children overwhelmed the kittens. Jersey and Elsie met several cats in their foster home, and they adjusted really well to their new feline friends. The kittens will do best in home with a couple people to give them love, attention, and ample play time. They would love a couple of high cat towers to climb, play, and nap. White cats with blue eyes can have hearing loss and the vet suspects Jersey may have started to lose hearing. If Jersey is albino, he may have other medical needs over time. Because Jersey may lose hearing, the kittens need to go to a home that will stay attentive to any changes, and to be willing to work closely with a vet and get additional care if needed. Elsie and Jersey eat like champs and use the litter box perfectly. They prefer wet food several times a day and only snack on dry food kibble occasionally. These busy little cutie-pies are ready to wrestle their way right into your heart!

But in the loving care of her foster family, this sweet girl is learning that people aren't so scary after all—and has blossomed into an affectionate sweetheart! At first, Missy kept her distance. But now, she's discovering the joys of human companionship--following her foster moms like a shadow, curling up on her foster mom's lap while she works and being carried around the house like the princess she is. When Missi loves you, she puts 100% of her time and energy into being your companion. This cutie pie is full of energy! She'll race around quick as lightning! Her favorite toys are wand toys and each morning you'll find mice and other small toys in her food and water bowls. She's a hunter at heart and it shows in her play. Recently, she even started bringing her toys to her foster mom and playing at her feet. Missi is so smart she’ll even figure out food puzzle to eat her treats! Missy would really love a home with as many toys and cat trees as possible, but her favorite toys are mice shaped. She currently lives with two adults and 1 resident cat in a 3-bedroom duplex. Missy's ideal home would be with a quiet person or family with quiet respectful children. She is reserved and still a bit skittish; therefore, a person or family that understand that she'll take time to warm up to her new home would be best. She'd also be most happy with another cat around her age to play with--either another Pet Haven cat or an active young resident cat to show her the ropes. She does well with other cats and gentle older children but hasn't met a dog yet. This lovely tabby girl is ready to leave the outdoor life behind and live a peaceful, cozy existence with a caring family. Could that be with you?

While she enjoys her cat naps, Yuumi also has bursts of energy and loves to play. She'll happily chase after catnip toys and feather wands, claim the best window seat to watch squirrels and passing cars, and is also a skilled mouser. If she doesn’t get enough playtime, she might turn your feet into her next target! Once you become her person, she’ll spend many nights cuddled up next to you. Just be sure to keep an eye on your dinner plate—Yuumi is a sneaky food thief. Yuumi was found in a snowbank with severe frostbite, leading to nerve damage and her tail amputation. She has spent over a year recovering and adjusting to medications, proving to be one of the strongest, most resilient cats out there. She takes her meds like a champ and will shower you with love in return for your care. She is also slightly overweight and would benefit from a home where she can stay active. She thrives in a home where her humans are around often. When making friends, she also does well with older children (12+) who can respect her boundaries, as she can get overstimulated at times. Yuumi does not get along well with other cats and prefers to be the only cat in the home. She isn’t much of a cuddler but likes to be near people—she often likes to sit on the couch or the floor near you while you watch TV, but she’s not typically going to get in your lap. Scrabble goes nuts for almost any kind of toy but particularly loves balls or springs to bat around on the ground. She is super happy to entertain herself with her toys or birdwatching out the window; she also loves giving herself a manicure by scratching, so it’s a good idea to have a couple of scratching posts or pads around the house for her. Scrabble can be a bit mouthy when she is in the middle of playing, similar to the way kittens can be a bit nippy—it's not malicious and does not hurt. She can easily be gently redirected with a new toy or activity. Scrabble loves food both wet and dry; she might benefit from something like an automatic or timed feeder, so she doesn’t bug her humans too much when she is hungry. Besides at mealtime, she is a very tidy kitty and takes very good care of her long soft fur; her forever humans will need to brush her regularly to help her keep her lovely coat in tip-top shape. Scrabble uses the litter box very well. This pretty girl truly enjoys being in the mix of household activities. She is fairly high energy for an adult cat and is always happy to play. Scrabble lives with two adults in a quiet home with no other animals. Previously she lived with other cats and her high energy could be off-putting to them (she loved playing amped-up, kitten-like games of chase, and they weren’t always into it). Because of this, Scrabble would likely do best life as a solo kitty; however, she’s never tried living with a dog. She is very outgoing and will do well in a variety of households, as long as her people either work from home or are are around a lot to give her the affection she seeks. Since she can get a bit nippy when playing, she may not be the best fit for young kids. She would be better suited to cat-savvy older children/tweens/teens. This energetic, adorable gal is so ready to live the good life in a cozy, loving home that can support her vibrant personality and give her the care, attention and company she enjoys. After all, who doesn’t love a good game of Scrabble?

Darr and Hoban are very calm, easygoing, independent cats who take life as it comes. They enjoy sunbathing near a window, taking long naps, and playing with catnip toys. When It's time for a snooze, they prefer their private luxury suite under the beds.

For 7-1⁄2 years, Gerri and her sisters lived very independently in the big house until her owner moved to a nursing home. When this beauty came into foster care, she was so matted it wasn’t possible to pet her except on the top of her head. Once shaved, she was so much more comfortable. Her initial veterinary appointment showed mouth inflammation, and she was scheduled for a dental consult and was diagnosed with stomatitis requiring 15 of her teeth be removed. She does wonderfully with just a few teeth -- enjoying both dry cat food and her much loved Fancy Feast Savory Centers wet food. Geri enjoys human attention but is also independent and although brought up with three littermates, she doesn’t interact with them much. She prefers to lay in the sun for her naps or sit at the top of the cat tree and watch the birds and squirrels for some “me time.” Even though she is now a mature lady, she still has her “zoomie” moments – chasing after and playing with small toys. She likes to be brushed on her head and back and is slowly getting used to being brushed on her chest and stomach – key spots to stay on top of, since that is where any matting is prone to start. Her foster has trimmed her nails, and although it is not Geri’s favorite things, she does tolerate it. Her forever humans should be committed to helping her keep her beautiful coat looking its best. Geri likes human interaction and will sit on your lap – especially when you are sitting at the computer. When she has had enough interaction, she will give a small grunt and jump down. Nala tends to warm up to women more quickly than men—a home with one or two women would be a great fit for her. She doesn't like being picked up so older cat-conscious children would be best for her.. This guy is curious. He loves to spend time in the bathroom with you and, fair warning, would love to eat some toilet paper if he could get to it. Milo enjoys quiet exploring but will occasionally meow when he thinks it's time for food. This handsome fellow is very reserved and will take some time to gain confidence and feel more comfortable. He gets along with other cats but does not really want to hang with them. He likes to have his own space but has never been physical with another cat or human; he will hiss when annoyed but that’s it. He loves pets and scratches and occasionally will do some solo play time with his favorite cat nip toys. Occasionally he will run around, but for the most part, he is low energy. Milo currently lives with his foster dad and one other foster cat Tigger in a two-bedroom apartment. He has spent all his foster care with Tigger; however, as much as Tigger would like Milo to care for him, Milo is content to just be acquaintances. Milo would thrive in a home with lots of sunny spots and windows. He would do best in a quieter place with either a fellow calm, chill cat, or as a solo kitty with people who are around frequently and committed to helping him gain trust and feel more at ease. Brava spent more than a year at a shelter waiting for her forever home. She has really blossomed in a home setting with her new friend, Buddy. They chase each other up and down the stairs, engage in epic wrestling matches, and get into mischief together. They get along really well and often choose to play, bird-watch, and sleep near each other, but don't cuddle together at this point. Brava is hesitant when she's in a new situation, but after a short time she's exploring her new setting, asking for affection, and purring while kneading her fosters' laps. Her world was the size of a kennel for a large stretch of her life, and she is looking for humans who can be patient with her as she regains trust and gets used to living in a larger world. Buddy has helped her feel more confident in exploring. Buddy has a ton of energy, is very curious, and LOVES human attention (extra emphasis on love). He'll play with just about anything, including various cat toys, brooms, and shoelaces. He is friendly and outgoing when meeting new people for the first time and is eager to receive the same love and affection that he shows everybody else. He finds his own quiet space for a nap while his humans work from home, but as soon as a lap is available, he’s ready to purr and get some cuddles. This charming fellow is playful and likes to hang around near or cuddle with his foster. He enjoys playing in the cat tunnel, ball track toys, kicker toys, wand chasers, and of course catnip. He tends to follow the foster around and shortly after initiating pets he will plop down and show his belly. He likes a bit of belly rubs and really seems to like chin scratches. His foster works from home and he enjoys relaxing in the spot normally occupied by a keyboard so he can partially rest on the foster's arm and get pets. He can be a purring machine and enjoys lap cuddles sometimes. He'll also cross his front paws when resting like a distinguished gentleman. Take Off is a medium-energy cat who enjoys lots of stimulation and interactive playtime with throwing toys (any cat nip toys or balls) and wand chasers. He would do best in a home with forever humans who work from home or are around a lot, so he can get sufficient attention and cheerfully keep his people company. It is recommended that he is not in a home with kids unless they are older and able to understand cat cues. Take Off typically prefers to initiate pets, and can sometimes view hands and feet as toys. Having various fun, engaging playthings around the house will help distract and redirect him from this habit. He would likely not be a good fit with a shy or easily scared cat since he's a larger cat and likes to wrestle sometimes. Large, chill, friendly cats who like to play would be okay. (He’s never met a dog before.) This lovely boy had a vet stay 2 days after coming into care for a urinary blockage, so he's on prescription urinary food and his litter box needs to be monitored to ensure he's urinating normally. He's also taking gabapentin twice a day for some sensitivity on his back (capsules that are emptied out and mixed with the wet food). It took some time for Take Off to build trust with his foster and will likely require patience, love, and compassion with his forever humans to do the same. Coming from such a rough start, Take Off really needs love, and just has to gain the confidence and tools to channel his energy and realize that so many people can be good and kind. Peachy loves a good bowl of wet food, any teaser toy he can chase after (even more enticing if it makes noise), any location where the sun hits the spot, and anything that challenges him. Peachy is a curious and mischievous boy who will sprint after anything he deems suspicious -- especially if he thinks there will be food for him to feast on, of course! Peachy is vocal about what he wants. Opening a tin can, ripping open a bag of chips, opening a crisp can of soda? Peachy will be there to investigate! Maybe he can’t consume it, but his curiosity will get to him, and he will want a whiff of whatever it is that his human is focused on. This dude is excellent at establishing boundaries and will let you know when he isn’t elated with something. Sometimes he will nip (don’t tell him this) but his canines are chipped so it’s 100% effort and maybe 3% pain (it kind of tickles)! He can get silly with his moves but loves a good chin-scratch and will start his purr motor in appreciation. Peachy would do okay as an only cat but he would absolutely thrive with another cat buddy (maybe even a cat-friendly dog?). This guy is very sociable and loves to challenge his friends but is also extremely gentle and lovely to get along with! Peachy currently resides with 3 humans and 3 cats. He gets supervised outside enrichment time (recess) in a fenced backyard, which he has grown to love! Peachy isn’t a picky eater and will eat just about everything. And the ears on this cat? Nymphadora is an adorable tabby girl who is sweet and very affectionate once she gets to know you. She might start out shy but will warm up with encouragement. She loves to be scratched above her tail. Once she feels comfortable, this pretty lady loves to explore her environment and eat any lickable treats like Churus! Her favorite toys are made of soft rabbit fur, which she likes to carry in her mouth. Nymphadora is a medium-energy cat. She likes to play but also needs time to be calm and observe those around her. This little beauty is reserved and may need some coaxing and plenty of space to feel brave enough to seek affection from her humans. She will need to go home with her bonded brother Oberon, who will help her relax into the cozy indoor life. Oberon is a cute white-and-tabby boy who loves to play. Everything becomes a toy in his paws! His favorite toys are plastic and make clicking noises on hard floors. He also loves feather toys on strings. He's an athletic fellow who loves to climb and jump onto higher surfaces. He relishes the panoramic view and is a pro at keeping tabs on his humans from above. Vander is also very playful and can often be found rolling around in his cat tunnels, making his humans laugh and smile with his silly antics. If you can't find Vander up high in his cat tree, you’ll probably find him on a human’s lap, soaking up love and attention. Vander is FIV+, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! This pretty lady enjoys being picked up and will meow at you in greeting. Boots is just a total lover and brings such joy to whomever she is greeting. She’s like a little shadow that will always follow close to supervise your activities.She’s usually a pretty quiet girl except for when she’s hungry or wants to be scratched, then she uses her big mighty meow to declare to her humans the need for lovings. This girl especially loves the puree treats that come in the lickabe tubes - she’ll give you major brownie points if your home is stocked up on those. As a dignified elderly lady, Boots isn't big on playing with toys, but enjoys rubbing her face against the ones that are filled with catnip, and she has shown interest in those cat videos on YouTube that have fish swimming around. Unfortunately, this beautiful senior lady has stage 3 kidney disease, as well as the cat equivalent of breast cancer. This sweet lady will need loving care to keep her comfortable during her kitty hospice. Boots loves spending her time nestled under the blankets of her human's bed, basking in the sunshine on a comfy pillow, and sitting in your lap no matter what you're doing. Due to her medical needs, she is administered multiple medications daily and given subcutaneous fluids every other day. She takes her medications like a champ and is hardly phased by the poking. Boots does very well on her vet visits and has been told by multiple vets that they are always delighted to see her. While she's not a fan of being in her carrier, she makes trips in it easy and smooth Boots currently lives with four college girls and no other pets. She loves all of the attention and especially enjoys greeting any guests who stop by. Her ideal home is a kind, calm, relaxed environment, with humans who have no other pets and are willing to give her lots of attention.
