“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring — it was peace.” – Milan Kundera (Author, The Unbearable Lightness of Being)

Dahlia, Female
Pitbull Terrier, 2-5 years
Hi! My name is Dahlia, but my foster parents call me Dolly, Dolly Dingo, or Dolly Doobers. I'm a 2-5 yo Pit Bull and I'm really really cute. I'm a bit timid when I first meet people, but warm up quickly with a gentle, controlled approach.
I love to give kisses, and may or may not slobber your face, arm, leg, ear, or whatever given part of you I can reach at the time. I can't tell you what my life was like before rescue, but I'm pretty sure I've had a lot of puppies. I was picked up by Animal Control while running free, and stayed there for a little over a month until I got out. I think I've had some really basic training, because I know how to sit at food time, but beyond that I need work on a leash and some improvement on my basic manners. I'm not tall, but my foster dad says I'm "A real thickums McGee" and I'm not really aware of how solid or heavy I am, so your personal space is at a definite risk with me around, I just want to be by people! I have to be in a home with no other dogs, as I get scared and defensive when they get close. I do well in a crate for the most part, although I may whine when I feel like I'm left alone in one. Because I'm a beefcake, I would also probably do best in a home without younger children due to my size but would likely love them. Overall though, I'm a very very sweet lover girl who just wants to be your favorite companion and best buddy to whoever adopts me.

Dodger, Male
Husky, 2 years
Have you even seen a cuter husky? This 2-year-old, 60-pound Siberian Husky has a stunning black-and-white coat and a personality as charming as his looks! Whether he's tossing toys around, having fun with friends at doggie daycare, or crossing his front paws in his signature lounging pose, Dodger will steal your heart.
This sweet and playful boy is fully house-trained and crate-trained—his crate is his cozy safe haven. Dodger has adjusted well into his foster home, bonding very easily and getting comfortable on all the furniture. He loves to talk, especially when he's excited to come out of his crate or ready to play. He thrives on daily activity, like going for runs with his humans, long walks, or playing with other dogs. While he's not overly hyper, he does need consistent exercise to stay happy, and could use a little more leash training. Because of his loud talking and his energy levels, Dodger will need a fenced yard with a 4-foot fence minimum or a running partner, and a home without shared walls (no apartments/condos). Dodger loves playing with other dogs, but is still learning from always being an only-dog. He gets along with his foster sister and could adjust to having a canine sibling or enjoy being the sole center of attention. However, he does not share toys well or play well with small dogs, so a home where this can be managed effectively is important. While Dodger could be a great family dog because he gets along well with children, he will not be able to live in a home with cats. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and talkative companion, Dodger is ready to charm his way into your heart and home!

Bruno & Rodent, Male/Female
Shih Tzu/Maltese, 4 years/7 months
Meet Bruno and Rodent, an adorable Maltese-Shih Tzu father-daughter duo who are as inseparable as they are charming. Bruno, estimated to be 3–4 years old, weighs 12 pounds and his 7-month-old daughter, Rodent—affectionately nicknamed “Ro”—is a petite 7-pound bundle of joy. Together, they make the perfect pair of playful, cuddly companions, each bringing their own unique personality and quirks to the table.
Bruno is a gentle and affectionate pup who thrives on being close to his people and his daughter. He loves snuggling on the couch, proudly parading around with his favorite stuffed toys, and going for short walks. While he takes a little time to adjust to new surroundings, he blossoms into a confident and happy companion once he feels secure. Rodent, on the other hand, is a silly and playful pup who enjoys zooming around the house and chasing her tail before settling in for cuddles. She’s self-entertaining and loves barking at her reflection in the mirror, keeping everyone entertained with her goofy antics. Both Bruno and Rodent are crate-trained and feel comfortable in their crates, though Bruno may bark a bit when first crated. They are making good progress with house training, doing well with potty pads indoors, but will need patience and consistency to fully master the skill. Bruno and Rodent are also great with other dogs, and while they haven’t been exposed to children, their calm and friendly demeanor suggests they could do well with kids. They’ve previously lived with cats and are undergoing slow introductions to the cats in their foster home, indicating they could likely coexist with feline friends in their future home. Bruno and Rodent are moderately energetic, enjoying playtime with toys and each other but not requiring long walks to tire them out. A bit of exercise and attention are all they need before they’re ready to settle in for naps and cuddles. They’re both vocal at times, especially when meeting new people or responding to loud noises, so this might be something to consider for apartment living. Bruno is healthy overall but does have a dermoid on his right eye, a condition where a hair growing out of his eye. Surgery is recommended in the next few years. Adopters should be prepared to consult a specialist, with an estimated cost of $1–2K for the procedure. This sweet pair would thrive in a calm, loving home where they can continue their training and enjoy plenty of affection. They’d do well with someone patient and attentive who can help them feel secure while supporting their progress with house training. If you’re looking for a bonded pair of goofy, loving companions, Bruno and Rodent are ready to bring double the love and joy into your life.

Aprilia, Female
Staffordshire Terrier, 1.5 years
Say hello to April! April is a 1.5 year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix and 59 lbs of pure energy and affection. April might take a bit of time to gain confidence around new people, but once she does she will be your best friend forever!
She understands that her calling in life is to act as her human's shadow and will go the extra mile in order to not miss out on any action happening at home. This might even include her licking your hair while you catch up on your latest Netflix binge! April is house trained. It is likely that April used to spend most of her time outdoors, so she may need a bit of guidance as to where the appropriate place to go potty is. She has caught on quickly in her foster home, no accidents! April is also crate trained. She does well in her crate at night and while home alone. While April prefers to see her humans throughout the day, she does well when left home alone and has not been known to vocalize or be destructive. She requires a medium level of activity and is content with a daily walk and plenty of stuffed toys to play with! April is a curious girl who would love to have a fenced yard to sniff around in but it is not required. April has enjoyed meeting and playing with dogs in her foster home and does very well. She prefers to have a confident dog around to help teach her how to be the best pup! Ideally, April would find a forever home that has a built-in canine companion but it is not required. When it comes to cats, April has yet to meet one! She has shown signs of a prey drive so a meet-and-greet would be necessary if there is a cat in the household. When April is feeling playful, her energy can be very high! Her play style is all in good fun but this may overwhelm young children as she can get a bit mouthy. She would do best in a household with children 13 years and older. April is ready to meet her forever home! With patience and consistent structure she will blossom into the perfect companion that anyone could ask for. If you're interested in learning more about April and think she might be a good fit, fill out an application using the link below to learn more! Whoever becomes her family will be lucky they did.

Avery, Male
Husky Mix, 15 Weeks
Avery is a 15-week-old Husky mix who is as playful as he is affectionate. Currently weighing 28 pounds, Avery is expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog. This smart, active pup loves playing in the yard with the other dogs in his foster home and thrives on being in the middle of the action. He also has a habit of “booping” his foster’s face when excited, a morning ritual that never fails to bring a smile. At night, he enjoys snuggling by your head and never misses a chance for kisses.
Avery is almost house-trained, showing great promise with consistent effort. He hasn’t attempted crate training in his current foster hom, but his treat and food motivation make him very trainable, and his eager-to-please personality ensures he’s always ready to learn. While he prefers having someone home often or the companionship of another dog, he adjusts well with proper support. He hasn’t met cats or children yet, but he is overall friendly and adjusts well to new surroundings. Avery loves squeaky toys and spending time with people and other dogs. With a medium energy level, Avery enjoys daily walks and will benefit from an environment that offers both playtime and cuddles. While he currently has access to a fenced yard, he may do fine with a tie-out in the right home. If you’re looking for a loving, social puppy who’s ready to grow with you, Avery will be the perfect addition to your family!

Jovie, Female
Husky Mix, 16 Weeks
Jovie is an adorable 4-month-old Husky mix who is ready for an adventure! Currently weighing about 25 pounds, this little pup is full of energy and curiosity.
She is making progress with house training, consistently using potty pads and beginning to understand outdoor potty breaks. She’s crate-trained and settles in well at night with a treat, though she doesn’t love being left alone. As a Husky mix, she has a vocal side and loves to “sing” her feelings, whether she’s happy, excited, or simply wants your attention. Because of this, she will need a home without shared walls (no apartments/townhomes). Jovie's ideal home will be with a family that can keep up with her high energy, provide regular exercise, and ideally offer a fenced yard for her to run and play. She likes to go on multiple walks per day, and loves to run outside. She loves her crinkle toys, outdoor playtime, and romps with other dogs—especially big ones. She hasn’t met any cats yet but would likely do best with a confident feline who can handle her playful energy. Her trainable nature suggests she could adapt well to a family with children. This playful pup will bring plenty of joy to her forever home. With patience, love, and consistent training, Jovie will grow into a wonderful companion full of life and love!

Walter, Male
Husky Mix, 16 Weeks
Walter is an adorable 4-month-old Husky mix who is learning more every day! Currently weighing 25 pounds, this sweet and affectionate pup will love being by your side.
Walter has been quick to make himself right at home! He adjusts easily, so he has been doing well with crate training and settles quickly. He is still learning the ropes of potty training, so while he is good at using potty pads indoors, his family will need a little patience to help him associate outdoor spaces with potty time. Walter is vocal when he’s frustrated or wants attention, showing a touch of Husky sass, but he’s improving with guidance. This smart and eager-to-please puppy is already learning what it takes to become a great roommate. While he's a bit cautious when making new dog friends, he gets along well with other dogs and he happily runs and plays with them. While he hasn’t been introduced to cats or kids yet, his ability to respect boundaries with dogs suggests he could adjust well with proper introductions. This pup has plenty of energy and loves running around, playing with his beloved crinkle toys, chewing on a Kong, and going on walks. While he’d thrive with a fenced yard for safe outdoor exercise, it’s not a dealbreaker if his new family provides him with an active lifestyle. If you’re ready for a loving, playful pup who will bring joy to your life, Walter might just be the perfect addition to your family.

Pebbles, Female
Bull Terrier, 4 years
This 4-year-old Bully mix is full of love and personality! Weighing 52 pounds, Pebbles is a snuggly "pittypotamus" who adores her people, earning her title as a champion cuddler and napper.
Pebbles’ past life as a breeding dog has shaped her need for patience and understanding. While she was initially cautious of her new foster home, once she settled, she really knew how to make herself comfortable. She is fully house-trained and crate-trained, happily settling into her crate with the help of a treat. Her favorite activities include sleeping, chewing on toys, and, of course, cuddling. She’s a snoring aficionado with a quirky ability to "sing" with her humans. Her ideal home is one that respects her boundaries, values her quirks, and provides her with the love and security she deserves. Despite her love for walks, Pebbles takes a leisurely approach to exercise and enjoys short strolls at her own pace. While she’s generally calm overall, Pebbles has some leash reactivity when encountering dogs outside the home and benefits from careful introductions. Pebbles is still learning to trust new friends, so careful introductions have been key. She has been socialized with resident dogs and has shown promise, though she cannot live with cats. Pebbles thrives with dog-savvy humans and older kids, as she does resource guard high-value treats and chews. Her foster reports she’s been great with their 8-year-old child, but caution and supervision are necessary in homes with younger kids. She’s currently undergoing muzzle training for vet visits and grooming to ensure everyone’s safety. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s equal parts lazy and loving, Pebbles is ready to make your home her own.

Jackson, Male
Husky Mix, 15 Weeks
Jackson is a lively 15-week-old Husky mix who is ready to play! Currently 21 pounds, he is expected to be a medium to large-sized dog. This smart, high-energy pup thrives on playtime and loves wrestling and running with his dog family in his foster home.
Jackson is working on house-training, and he hasn’t attempted crate training in his current foster home. He’s very treat-motivated and adaptable, so training should be a breeze in his future home. Jackson also prefers not to sleep on a bed, which could make him a great fit for someone who doesn’t want their dog on furniture. He is vocal when he wants something, so a home without shared walls will be required (no apartments/townhomes). He enjoys being around other dogs and responds positively to them outside the home. However, Jackson has not yet met cats or children, so his behavior around them is unknown. Jackson requires regular exercise and he seems to enjoy chasing critters, so a fenced yard will be required for his safety. He would thrive in a home with an active family or other dogs to keep him company, as he doesn’t like to be lonely. If you’re looking for a playful and smart companion who will keep you on your toes (literally!), Jackson might just be the perfect match!

Zara, Female
Mastiff Mix, 2 years
Zara is a 2 year old, 75-pound Pressa Canario/Mastiff mix! This sweet girl has taken quickly to her new foster family and everything that comes with her new-found life! We don’t know a lot about Zara’s history as she was originally found as a stray, but she has quickly proven to be the face of a burly pup with the heart of a lap dog.
This adaptable girl has quickly caught onto the new house rules and is doing well with training. Her ideal forever family will be one that has experience with large-breed dogs and is dedicated toward consistent training and improving Zara’s separation anxiety. Thus far, Zara has made major strides with potty training and mostly knows where and when to do her business. When home alone, she has been known to occasionally bark/howl, so shared walls may not be ideal. She is working on crate training and has proven to be a bit of an escape artist. In her forever home, consistent crate training and shorter time periods in the crate will be best for Zara. Zara is working on leash training and is doing well. She loves her long walks and zoomies in the backyard! A fenced yard would be a major bonus but is not required. As long as Zara’s activity is consistent, she is a happy girl! She is a big fan of the other pets in the house and is having fun getting to know them. She spends a lot of time with her fellow resident dogs and they get along great. She is largely unbothered by the resident cats and spends time with them both in and outdoors! Zara would love another furry friend in her forever home, but it’s not a requirement. We do not yet know how Zara does around children. Given her size and that we are still learning about her, we recommend that introductions with children be slow and controlled. If Zara’s prospective family has a child in the home, a meet and greet may be necessary prior to adoption. Zara is ready to meet her forever home! With consistent structure and training, she will be sure to grow into the best companion someone could ask for. If you’re interested in learning more about Zara and think she might be a good fit, fill out an application using the link below to learn more! Whoever becomes her family will feel lucky they did.

Nitro, Male
Cattle Dog/Shepherd Mix, 2 years
This 2-year-old mutt brightens every room he enters! Nitro is all about his humans, offering endless loyalty, snuggles, and wet kisses. At 55 pounds, he’s still a true lap dog at heart, and will always find a way to settle in close and rest his head in your hands.
Even though he spent six long months at the shelter, Nitro has an unwavering trust in people. He is house-trained and quick to pick up on rules, so he settled into his foster home with ease. For future training, he’s still working on his manners around counters, blankets, and crate training. While he does well when crated if his family is out of the house, he needs time and reassurance to settle in at night. He's making great progress on his confidence and his attachment, so his future family just needs to have patience and consistency in mind. Nitro can be noisy, so he will also require a home without shared walls (no apartments/townhomes). Originally believed to be a Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix, Nitro has traits of Black Mouth Cur as well. He’s high-energy and thrives on long daily walks and plenty of activity, but he’s equally content to relax indoors as long as he’s near his people. Nitro will require an active home with a securely fenced yard (minimum of 4 feet tall), as his strong nose and curious nature make him prone to wander. He’s proven to be a social and playful dog, doing well with dogs of all sizes. Nitro’s playful side comes alive when he’s chasing toys or playing games of keep-away with his foster brother, always with a big smile on his face. While he hasn’t been around cats or children yet, his gentle demeanor suggests he could adjust with proper introductions. Whether you’re heading out for a walk or curling up on the couch, Nitro is ready to be your loyal and loving friend!

Loki, Male
Border Collie, 1 year
Loki is a 1-year-old male Border Collie mix is the sweetest boy ever. Weighing 60 pounds, he’s a big snuggler who thinks he’s a lap dog, always ready to climb onto his humans for cuddles. He loves to give hugs, and will put both paws on your shoulders and nuzzle into them. Loki is also smart and playful—he is happy to toss his toys around to himself and pounce on them, or bring a toy to you if you can't reach! He is affectionate, smart, and eager to please, making him a great addition to any family.
Loki has made great strides in house training and does well with potty breaks every 3-4 hours. At night, he might have an accident, but he adapts well to pee pads if needed. He isn’t crate-trained but does well sleeping in a separate room, where he’s calm, quiet, and non-destructive. Loki is pretty quiet overall, and while he loves being close to his humans, he settles well when left alone for a few hours. While he’s curious and playful with other dogs during slow introductions, he may need to be an only dog or live in a home with an experienced owner willing to work through some resource-guarding behavior. When it comes to cats, Loki shows curiosity without aggression and could likely share a home with feline friends. He loves all people, and has done well with older children, but his excitement and tendency to jump might be too strong for very young children. Loki is moderate-energy—content with lounging around but also enjoying bursts of playtime, especially fetch with tennis balls or toys. Loki doesn’t need a fenced yard and is happy to explore outside but always wants to return to his favorite place—right next to his people. If you’re looking for a loving, goofy, and deeply affectionate companion, Loki is ready to fill your life with hugs!

Mishka, Female
Keeshond, 3 years
This 3-year-old Keeshond/Border Collie mix is so sweet and snuggly! Mishka, meaning "little bear", is the cutest, rollie-polliest dog ever. Currently 52 pounds (and working on shedding some extra weight), she enjoys the simple pleasures in life—cuddling, napping, playing in the snow, and giving kisses.
Mishka is sure to make you smile, whether it’s her adorable butt sway when she walks (SO sassy), her habit of sleeping on her back like a person, or her comical attempts to sniff snow without getting it up her nose. Mishka has come a long way from her rough beginnings, and has blossomed into a total lovebug and the perfect couch companion. While initially quite nervous at her new foster home, she still loved cuddles and adjusted quite well to her new routine with a little extra love. She is house-trained and lets you know when she needs to go outside. She’s also crate-trained and can be convinced to settle in with the promise of a treat, staying calm and quiet once inside. While she’s a self-proclaimed couch potato, Mishka enjoys running around the yard and doesn’t require a lot of exercise beyond some outdoor playtime and occasional walks. Mishka is still working on her confidence and managing some separation anxiety. She prefers to be with her humans as much as possible, so she will follow you everywhere and gets a little noisy when left alone. We believe that her ideal home will be with a patient family that is home often, and she will require a home without shared walls (no apartments/townhomes) and will need a calm and confident resident dog to keep her company. She hasn’t had much experience with other dogs or cats, but she’s largely indifferent to dogs outside the home and might do well with slow introductions to a confident canine companion. Mishka has a gentle personality that makes her great with kids, and she’s been wonderful with the children she’s met. Mishka is ready to be your devoted cuddle buddy and bring love into your life!

Blitz, Male
Lab mix, 9 months
Meet Blitz! This 9 month-old Labrador mix is an ultimate goofball and lover looking for his forever family! Blitz is looking for a home that will allow him to meet his energy needs while giving him a safe space to cuddle at the end of the day
While a young guy, he's made tremendous strides since being in rescue and is eager to keep learning how to be a dog! Blitz adores being around other dogs and is always game to play. He is very excitable when meeting new dogs in public and wants everyone to be his friend! He's great at picking up on dog's cues and meeting them at their level when interacting. Blitz has not done well around the cats he's met so far and it's not recommended he is around them long-term. Due to his breed and age, his prey drive plays a factor when interacting with smaller critters! As far as kids go, he's a bit more hesitant than he is with adults but does okay. We recommend a meet and greet prior to adopting to a home with children and continued training with child interactions. He's been doing well with crate training and spending time alone. He's been known to let out the occasional bark or howl, so a home with shared walls may not be ideal but is still possible. He's been used to a fenced yard and it would be a major bonus if his forever home has one too! Blitz prefers a medium to high activity level and will appreciate it if he can utilize a fenced yard to let off some additional steam. Blitz is a very lovable guy who learns very quickly! His ideal forever home will be one that's dedicated to his continued training and can give him the daily enrichment and socialization he needs. If you're interested in learning more about Blitz and think he might be a good fit, fill out an application using the link below to learn more! Whoever becomes his family will feel lucky they did.

Luna, Female
German Shepherd, 8 years
Luna is a 6 to 7-year-old German Shepherd mix, weighing in at 100 pounds of pure love. She's the perfect blend of playful and chill, always ready for a walk or a cozy snuggle session. Luna's favorite pastime? Enjoying her squeaky toy, Poppy--a pop tart-shaped toy that she loves to gently squeak while relaxing.
Luna is the epitome of a loyal, gentle, and protective companion. She forms deep bonds with her family, making her the perfect guardian. While she can be a bit wary of strangers, especially in her home, Luna is working with a professional trainer to manage her anxiety around new people. With continued training, she’ll keep growing and learning to be more comfortable with unfamiliar faces. Fully house-trained, Luna knows exactly when it’s time to go outside, signaling by lying down or heading to the back door. She’s also crate-trained, viewing her crate as a safe and relaxing haven. Luna enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along well with her foster family's resident pup. She’s friendly with neighbor dogs too, though her interactions are mainly through the fence. Currently, she lives with two teenage girls and does wonderfully with them. However, because of her cautious nature around strangers, Luna might be best suited to a home without small children. She’s also not compatible with cats. Even though Luna is alert to people outside, she's unbothered by typical house or neighborhood sounds, making her well-suited for homes with shared walls. A fenced yard is a must for Luna—she will need plenty of room to run safely! While she does need calming medication for vet visits, she’s otherwise healthy and ready to be someone’s perfect companion. Luna would thrive in a quieter home where visitors are infrequent. She’s a gentle soul who will give endless love and loyalty to her new family. Luna’s past might be a mystery, but her future is bright. If you’re looking for a devoted, loving companion, Luna could be the perfect fit for your home.

Ocho, Male
American Bulldog/Boxer, 7 years
This handsome guy is Ocho, a 7-year-old American Bulldog/Boxer mix ready to find his forever home! Ocho is quite the catch as he is as low-maintenance as dogs come. It doesn't take much from his human(s), sometimes its just a smile, to make his stub of a tail wag and let you know he's enjoying life.
Although he may look serious, this boy is a total goof and the sweetest of dogs. Ocho will make you smile daily, but especially when you come home or he sees someone he knows and jumps/dances with his legs straight to do the funniest of taps. He's a tank but surprisingly light on his feet! Ocho absolutely loves his people and when he knows you, he trusts you for life. He may take a moment to warm up but once he does, he'll be rolling over for belly rubs and snuggles with the biggest of smiles. He loves to sit next to you or against you when given a comfy spot to rest. Ocho has and currently lives with other dogs and does well. Like with people, he just needs a hot sec to warm up. He particularly loves the occasional short play with one of his foster siblings (he's low energy) and enjoys a good walk but doesn't need one. He'd be down for a hike or time in the yard (his recall is great) and would likely appreciate a mellow canine companion. He has also previously lived with cats but would likely prefer a home without feline energy. Ocho has a history of living with kids and reportedly did okay. Since coming into rescue, he's shown that he's not a fan. For this reason, it is best that Ocho finds a forever home that does not have children in the household and we recommend slow and supervised interactions when he encounters them in the future. Ocho isn't a big fan of chaos and would prefer a chill home to spend his best years. Besides his family, what Ocho loves most is a ball. He especially likes to chew on a ball, fetch a ball, or simply sleep on a ball. If a ball is around he'll be content. He is also into toys, especially squeakers. In new spaces Ocho can initially vocalize when left alone so shared walls are not recommended. With time he is fine being left solo, just trying to work his sweetness on you. ike most Bulldogs/Boxers, Ocho can run a bit sensitive so appreciates the current medication he's on that has helped his body heal from the previous living environment he was in. He has since become a beautiful, healthy pup. Ocho is the epitome of a dream dog and a content companion ready to bring happiness to whatever family is lucky enough to get to call him their dog.

Bandit, Male
Husky, 6 years
This 6-year-old Husky is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly! At 65 pounds, Bandit is a large, playful, and sweet boy who is ready to be your partner in crime. He is always ready to cuddle up to you and he'll let you know—he's happy to paw at you or nudge your arm with his nose to get your attention!
Like many Huskies, Bandit has plenty of energy and would thrive with multiple walks or play sessions daily. He enjoys gnawing on bones or teething toys, and matches the energy of younger dogs during playtime. Despite his high energy, he’s calm and relaxed when it’s just him. Bandit has had great experiences with other dogs and with children. He is friendly and has previously lived with multiple children, so he makes for a great family dog! While his behavior with cats is unknown, Bandit is generally good-natured and adaptable. Bandit has adapted to his new foster home very well so far, though some training will still be needed. He’s crate-trained, comfortable spending time there when needed, and occasionally naps in his crate voluntarily. He is house-trained, and stays calm and respectful with belongings when home alone. When it comes to future training, he will still need to break his habit of marking his territory indoors, and stealing food off of plates—he's just so quick! Bandit is also a classic Husky escape artist, so he will require a secure, fenced yard to ensure his safety. This cuddly, energetic Husky is ready for a family who can provide him with the exercise, training, and love he needs to thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal and playful companion who doubles as a couch cuddler, Bandit is your guy!

Chomps, Female
Pit Bull/Mastiff Mix, 1 year
This 1-year-old Mastiff mix has a striking brindle coat and a big personality to match! Weighing 52 pounds, Chomps is an energetic and playful girl with a flair for the dramatic, prancing and galloping like a little horse around the yard. She is ready to find a family that will appreciate her quirks and help her continue to grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
Crate-trained and house-trained (with an occasional accident), Chomps loves to snuggle in bed or curl up with a blanket she’s pulled into her crate. She loves chewing on toys and bones, a habit that inspired her adorable name! Be prepared for lots of enthusiastic nibbling and endless bone-chewing sessions. While she's still learning how to be the best roommate, she is vocal and will let you know how she’s feeling, so she’s not a good fit for homes with shared walls (apartments/condos). Chomps thrives on attention and loves to play! She’s great with kids of all ages, but her high-energy play style and tendency to jump mean she’ll need guidance to play appropriately. A confident resident dog will be required to help her learn the ropes, and her future family should help to continue her socialization. While she hasn’t met cats yet, she’d likely do well in a structured and supervised introduction. With her higher energy level, she’ll need daily exercise—walks, playtime, or any activity to keep her busy. Chomps' future home will need a fenced yard to give her space to run and play. If you’re looking for a high-energy, fun-loving, and affectionate dog who will keep you entertained and shower you with love, Chomps is ready to be your new best friend!

Brownie, Male
Shepherd Mix, 4 years
This 1-year-old Shepherd mix is equal parts gentle giant and affectionate cuddle bug! At 52 pounds (and growing!), Brownie is a total sweetheart who's ready to lounge by your side, showering you with adoring looks and plenty of kisses.
This boy is great with kids and shows no issues around them, making him an excellent addition to a family. He also interacts well with other dogs, barking only once to say hello before calmly moving along. While he hasn’t had experience with cats, his curious and gentle demeanor suggests he may be able to adjust with proper introductions. Brownie has adjusted well to his foster home and is learning more every day. He’s crate-trained and will settle when needed, but he much prefers snuggling on a cozy bed with you as your perfect Netflix buddy. He will need a little supervision while house-training is perfected—he’s great at signaling when he needs to go but might have occasional accidents. Brownie has a big bark and occasional whines, so he is not a match for homes with shared walls (apartments/condos). Despite his large size and deep bark, he’s still figuring out how to handle his growing body, often scratching awkwardly or accidentally bumping into things, which only adds to his goofy charm. Brownie loves a daily walk and a good play session with toys and bones (destruction included!), but he’s happiest when he’s close to his people. He would do best in a house with a fenced yard where he can safely stretch his legs and enjoy the outdoors. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will make your home his whole world, Brownie is ready to meet you!

Daphne, Female
Shepherd Mix, 9-months-old
Daphne is an adorable 9-month-old German Shepherd mix with a light brown, short coat and boundless energy. Currently weighing 45 pounds, she’s expected to be a medium-sized dog once fully grown (around 26–60 pounds). This playful pup is already house-trained and crate-trained, though she prefers not to spend extended periods in her crate.
Daphne has a lively personality and thrives with regular exercise. She loves running, throwing her toys for herself, and spinning in circles when she gets excited—it’s impossible not to smile around her! While she’s shy at first, Daphne warms up quickly and will become your loyal shadow, following you everywhere. She’s still adjusting to new people, dogs, and environments. A confident resident dog in her new home is required to help her build confidence and continue learning. While she’s eager to meet other dogs, she likes to take her time to get comfortable and then she’s ready to play! She hasn’t been introduced to kids or cats, but her high prey drive may make her incompatible with feline friends. Daphne is happiest with an active family who can match her energy level and provide plenty of opportunities to play and explore. A home with a fenced yard is a must to let her stretch her legs safely. While she’s not particularly vocal, she may bark when unsure about something or whine if she misses out on a good squirrel chase! If you’re ready to give this sweet, spirited pup the love and patience she needs to thrive, Daphne will reward you with endless affection and entertainment. Could you be the perfect match for this special girl?

Tina, Female
Bully/Mastiff/Shepherd, 1 year
This 1-year-old, Bully/Mastiff/Corso/Shepherd mix is a sweet and playful pup who radiates happiness—just wait until you see her signature smile! Currently weighing 52 pounds, Tina is an energetic pup who thrives on attention and will fit right in with an active family who will shower her with love.
Tina’s favorite things include zoomies in the yard, gnawing on her favorite bones, and being the ultimate house watchdog—nothing gets past her keen senses! Tina needs a home with a secure 6-foot fence to give her the outdoor playtime she craves. She plays great with kids and enjoys interacting with other dogs, though she may bark at them from her yard when on a leash. While she’s still young, she is still learning how to be a good roommate. Tina is house-trained, but she occasionally has accidents and could use a little patience as she perfects her potty habits. During the day, you can see she will chew on her bones and toys, but also anything else she can find. She’s crate-trained and sees her crate as her safe haven. She’s also never shy about her feelings and uses her voice to express herself, making her an effective and endearing alarm system. Because of this, she will not be a good fit for homes with shared walls (apartments/townhomes). If you’re looking for a sweet, smiley, and playful furry friend who will bring boundless energy and affection to your life, Tina might just be your perfect match!

Apollo, Male
Pitbull Terrier, 1.5 months
Meet Apollo, a lively, affectionate 18-month-old Lab-Pit mix with a love for adventure, a passion for fetch, and a penchant for hugs! Weighing in at 55 pounds, Apollo sports a sleek black coat with hints of brown and a white “eagle” marking on his chest.
He’s an energetic and playful companion who needs an active household that can keep up with his high energy and zest for life. Apollo is house-trained and crate-trained, easily making it through the night without any issues. He’s done very well spending nighttime outside of the crate and usually opts for a comfy spot on the couch. He’s social with other dogs and loves to play, though his playstyle can be a bit intense for some. With the right doggie friend and some guidance, he could be a great sibling to a similarly energetic dog. While he’s met cats through a fence, his high-energy nature may make him a little too interested in cats indoors, so a gradual introduction or a cat-free home might be best. Apollo is good with older kids (13+), but he needs clear boundaries and a confident handler to help him understand his strength. Apollo’s daily routine includes long walks and plenty of fetch time. His favorite game is chasing down a tennis ball, though he may sometimes playfully dart away with it before returning. Apollo is learning new commands daily, including “sit,” “no,” and “stay,” though he occasionally lets out a funny “sigh” when he doesn’t get his way. His foster notes that he gives the best hugs and has a hilarious habit of expressing his “opinion” with little sounds when he loses a tug-of-war for direction on a walk. This pup would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore to his heart’s content. Though not prone to separation anxiety, Apollo prefers to have someone around; he’s only alone for a few hours a week and would do best in a home where he can get plenty of companionship and attention. For a family that loves the outdoors and is ready to share in Apollo’s boundless enthusiasm, he’ll be a loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining addition! Ready to meet your new best friend? Apollo can’t wait to show you his signature hug!

Bruce, Male
Pit/Lab Mix, 3 years
Bruce is a bundle of joy with an endless supply of energy and kisses! At 70 pounds, this Pit Bull/retriever mix still believes he’s a lap dog, blissfully unaware of his size. Whether he's cuddling on the couch with his head in your lap or playing with his squeaky toys, Bruce is a happy-go-lucky pup ready to bring joy to his forever family.
Bruce has adjusted well to his new foster home and loves soaking up the affection he receives. He is house-trained (only one accident since arriving) and crate-trained, where he is usually settling down after a whine or two. While he does bark when he hears noises in his apartment building, he settles easily, making him a good fit for shared walls. His change in environment may be causing him to get an upset stomach more easily now, so he's currently on a special diet for a sensitive stomach while we figure that out. Bruce loves to make new friends—that means more playtime for him! He’s been friendly with people and the dogs he’s met so far. When he's met other dogs, they all have been 30+ pounds, so his compatibility with smaller dogs is still unknown. He hasn’t been around children or cats yet, so a slow introduction would be recommended to prevent him from unintentionally knocking someone over when he's excited. He is very energetic, so he likes all the play and walks he can get! Bruce is a fun-loving pup that adores squeaky toys, tennis balls, and anything else he can play with. While lots of playtime is helpful, he will also need regular exercise and a fenced yard to manage his high-energy personality. With his affectionate nature and fun-loving spirit, Bruce would thrive with a family that can keep up with his zest for life. If you're looking for a playful, cuddly, and sweet companion, Bruce is the perfect addition to your home!

Cleo, Female
Chihuahua/Pug, 7 years
Alright, STOP. Collaborate and listen... She cute but she is expensive. Cleo will need prescription food and medication for the remainder of her life. Still interested? Read on!
Straight from her foster's mouth to your ears.. erhmm.. eyes.. learn more about Cleo directly from the source! They say diamonds are a girl's best friend.. And you better have a lot of them. To sell. To pay for her vet care. Haha! Just kidding! *looks around* Kind of.. Cleo has a condition called protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) caused by irritable bowel disease. She loses proteins from her bloodstream into her GI tract faster than her body can replenish them and her medical management helps regulate this condition. Cleo's daily life is unaffected by this and she does your everyday dog things. The only addition is giving her medication (pills) with her morning and evening meals which she takes without problem. Still interested? Then you're ready to hear our secret.. ---- Cleo is a GEM. A truly one-of-a-kind companion. So without further ado, here's what you need to know about Cleo! Extremely smart. Eats her own poop. In a glass-half-full kind of world, you could consider her a self-poop picker-upper. (But really, you are going to have to go out in those subzero temps and pick up her poop before she does.) In all seriousness, she is one of the best potty-trained dogs we have ever had. And she understands cues so quickly. She even knows sit, shake, high five, and can catch her food mid-air! Farts can clear a room. They just get stronger. Rootin' Tootin' Cleo should be in the Guinness Book of Records or something. Teeters on being the fun police. Still fun. Cleo coexists with dogs big and small but can sometimes be a playtime hall monitor. That said, if she finds the right dog with the right playstyle, she has a good time playing chase and wrestling! Loves tug o' war. Hates fetch. If you throw her toy, she's going to look at you like what are you even doing. On a scale of one to barky, she's about a five. While Cleo doesn't bark all day long, she is going to warn you about car doors slamming, people talking, the general goings on of the world. And her bark be loud so shared walls may not be the best fit for her. She stops with some guidance pretty quickly.. usually.. sometimes.. Loves food. Hates sharing. Cleo's favorite times of the day are, hands down, breakfast and dinner. And she's got that only child syndrome (I can say that, I'm an only child) where everything is hers. Her food. Her toys. Your food. All hers. And she will tell anyone who needs to know. Cleo doesn't currently live with cats but has in the past and takes it in stride. As long as she's the center of attention, that's all she really needs. Supposedly a Chihuahua/Pug mix. Definitely just as needy. Pug parents, am I right? Cleo will climb on your lap, push her way to your hands, and really doesn't care if she's stepping on another dog to get to the top. We mean that figuratively. Well.. except for those times when she's literally walking over a dog to get to you. Likes to give kisses. Licks everything. Literally everything.. the couch, the floor, the carpet, the coffee table, your clothes, and your face. Cleo is great with kids of all ages but it's probably best that she live in a home with teens or no kids on account of how much she loves food. Because she has PLE, Cleo needs to be on a restricted diet and can't be catching scraps or snagging food from those little hands. Because she would. She totally would. This girl's personality is a great balance of play and chill, and she walks so well on a leash.. when it's actually warm out.. A lap dog through and through, Cleo wants to be snuggled in with you, often under a blanket (Chihuahua parents, you get it). She's content to snooze on the couch or a dog bed when you're gone and she can fit into any social situation. Cleo is one of the best dogs out there and whoever has the privilege of adopting her is going to know love (and toots) beyond measure!

Montana, Male
Dogo Argentino, 1 years
Montana is a handsome 1-year-old 55lb Dogo Argentino looking for his forever home! He is fully house and crate trained and would do best either as an only dog or, an adopter who is committed to doing slow introductions over the course of a few weeks.
His excitement gets the best of him! At this time, Montana is not suited for young children under 14 due to his energy levels. Montana's foster family describes him as incredibly sweet and affectionate, with a penchant for exploring outdoors and chewing on bones. However, he thrives best in calmer environments and benefits from structured routines and regular exercise, needing at least an hour of activity each day. While he's adjusting to indoor living, Montana is still learning to manage his energy levels and would do best with someone experienced in bully breeds who can continue his training. He's neutered and in good health, with no known medical needs. Montana is a great working companion, and would thrive with a family that enjoys working with working breeds and power breeds. If you're ready to welcome Montana into your home and help him become the best version of himself, please reach out to learn more about this loving pup.

Freya, Female
Pitbull Terrier, 6 years
This beautiful girl is Freya, she's 6-years-old and 70 pounds of sweetness. To know Freya is to love her. Freya absolutely loves hanging out with her people and is happiest when they're around. Whether it's on the run or being a couch potato, she is ready to take on the world if you're with her.
She loves a good cuddle from anyone willing, while a hike through the woods is a highlight to any day. Freya would need a fenced yard if off-leash but is low energy and only needs a short walk daily. She would also likely be ok with shared walls. She may vocalize when someone is at the door but is otherwise quiet and can be left alone but of course prefers to have someone around to chill with if given the option. Freya came to rescue after living in a stressful and toxic environment. As a result, she took some time to adjust, but after a few weeks is now starting to show her incredibly charming personality. Freya loves to find the sunny spot in a room and sun herself for hours if left undisturbed. When she walks into a room, she greets each person in turn before proceeding to the next room and will do this every time she enters the room. Freya is fully house-trained with no issues. She does have one quirk, she doesn't poop on leash so space for her to go without one is a bit of a must. She is crate trained and previously slept crated at night, but since coming to rescue has gotten to free roam the house with no issue. When it comes to other dogs Freya can be good with some, it would depend on temperament. Due to her previous home environment, she still reacts poorly to larger aggressive dogs. She is working with her foster on leash reactivity as she continues positive socialization. As for cats, she does have a prey drive and is generally not a big fan. Freya would likely do well with kids 5 and older. She's generally a girl that loves a calm space for her to be her mellow self and be part of a family. I

Candy, Female
Pomeranian/Sheltie Mix, 2 years
Meet Candy, as sweet as her namesake. She's a 2 year-old, 11-lb bundle of cuteness ready to steal your heart. Candy is a mixed breed pup estimated to be a terrier/sheltie mix.
Candy loves hanging out with her people and getting pets and love as much as she gives it. She is very shy and anxious in new situations and would do best in a home that can give her slow introductions to new people and pets. Candy lives with senior dogs in her foster home. She would most likely flourish with a patient and affectionate small-breed dog to help build her confidence. Otherwise, she'd do well as a solo dog if given the attention she needs to come out of her shell. She loves to get her outdoor time, running circles around a fenced yard. Candy came to rescue with little training, but has made significant progress since being in her foster home. She is potty trained and does okay on a leash. She's not very food motivated so lots of praise and positive reinforcement is key in teaching her new things! Candy has developed separation anxiety which is a work in progress. She will do best in a home where she can see her people throughout the day. Her forever home will be one that can accommodate these needs while continuing to improve on these behaviors. When home alone, Candy is known to bark and whine. For this reason, it's not ideal that Candy lives in a home with shared walls.
