Our Mission

We are the go-to foster-based rescue for Minnesota pets searching for love, community, and care.

Pet Haven improves the lives of pets and people by rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats; reducing pet overpopulation through supporting spay and neuter efforts, and providing resources to people that strengthen the human-animal bond, and keep pets out of the sheltering system through compassion, kindness, and respect.

Medical Care Coordinator 

The Medical Coordinator is a part-time, hybrid position that is vital for the clear, professional, and compassionate communication between Pet Haven foster families and the Pet Haven Animal Care Team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day communications that are needed to arrange and schedule regular and emergency care services with Pet Haven’s foster families, as well as timely and accurate records entry and database management. The Medical Coordinator will play an intricate part within the Animal Care team, and will report to the Vet Care Manager.
