Your donations make Pet Haven’s work possible. You're helping us provide for the needs of these animals through rescuing, rehabilitation, and rehoming. This includes many needs including high-quality food, the best possible veterinary care, behavior support for emotional well-being, supplies needed, and support for our foster volunteers and adoptive families.
There are many ways that you can donate to support Pet Haven. Please consider one of the many options below. Thank you for your continued support.
Pet Haven is a 501(c)(3) organization, Federal EIN 41-6040860, which means your donations are tax-deductible. We do not sell, share, or trade donor information.
It's easy to make a donation online or mail your donation to PO Box 19105, Minneapolis, MN 55419. You can designate your gift in memory or honor of a person or animal or recognize a special occasion. Pet Haven will also mail a personal acknowledgment if requested. Please include the email and or address or the person you would like the acknowledgment sent to. Donations are 100% tax deductible.
Does your employer match donations? Don't forget that your employer may match your donation through their matching gift program. If so, make sure to let your employer know about your donation and double your impact.

Many of Pet Haven’s animals suffer from neglect or abuse and require specialized medical care. Pet Haven’s Phoenix Fund is dedicated to rehabilitating and mending broken bones, curing illnesses, and restoring health. Pet Haven’s Rainbow Fund seeks to support cats and dogs who require hospice care or peaceful passing services to cross the rainbow bridge. These animals are frequently overlooked in shelters and are the least acknowledged, yet they often incur some of the highest costs due to long-term and emergency care. We identify these pets in shelters, often surrendered due to age and illness, and bring them into a loving foster home. We provide the comfort and care as long or as short as they need until it is time to help them pass away peacefully in a home, rather than in a shelter. Pet Haven works with local partner shelters to identify Minnesota pets at risk of euthanasia due to what is considered unadoptable behavior. Many of these behaviors will resolve once a pet leaves a shelter environment. For those pets who need more help, our Behavior Rehabilitation honors pets where they are and helps them become the best pet citizens they can be. Our Wallflowers Program helps shy, undersocialized pets blossom and bloom into loving companions. These pets need extra time, care, and rehabilitation. Pet Haven is always in need of supplies such as dog and cat food, litter, toys, paper towels, and cleaning supplies. We also have many options listed on our shopping wishlists with kitty and puppy food as our largest need.
