Once this litter of six came into our care, Pet Haven ensured they received quality medical care and were placed with experienced foster homes that could provide the socialization, love, and care they needed.
Since then, Mateo and his siblings have been thriving!
Mateo is ready to meet his forever family! Growing bigger and braver every day, he is a young Lab-Shepherd-Husky "Minnesota Mix" puppy who is full of puppy pouncing antics. However, he is just as eager to curl up next to you for puppy cuddles. Mateo is ready to find a forever family who can provide him with all the things a growing puppy needs.
Founded in 1952, Pet Haven Inc. of Minnesota is incredibly proud to be the first foster-based rescue in Minnesota. It is our vision that all Minnesota pets have a safe and loving home. We achieve this vision through our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats; reducing pet overpopulation by supporting spay and neuter efforts, and providing resources to people that help strengthen the human-animal bond through compassion, kindness, and respect.

These funds will go directly to support the rescued pets currently in our care and allow us to say "Yes" to those waiting to come in. Pet Haven does not receive any government funding. We rely on the generosity and love of our individual supporters.
DONATE TO OUR MINNESOTA IMMIGRANT COMMUNITY RESPONSE FUND
These funds will be used to purchase and deliver pet supplies to pets in our community affected by current challenges in Minnesota. We also provide funding for medical needs on a case-by-case basis for individual pets in need.
