Meet Blanco! 08/13/2019 By Kerry S Blanco is on the lookout for a foster, adopter or a foster-to-adopt home! Blanco became "local famous" when he was struggling to cope in the shelter environment, and for his quality of life, a euthanasia date was scheduled. We were beyond thrilled to have the honor of walking Blanco out of the shelter and into a Pet Haven foster home. In the couple of weeks since then, Blanco has been learning the ropes of life outside the shelter. Unfortunately, we've determined that he's not a fit for the foster we had lined up for him so we are seeking alternative placement! Thanks to donations provided by YOU, we have been able to get Blanco some professional training intervention and he's making amazing strides. Here's what we know about him so far: 👶: he loves every human he meets, incl kids 💩: he's potty trained 🏃♂️: his exercise needs are moderate 🧠: he's super smart - knows basic commands ❤️: he bonds closely & quickly to his people 😽: not a fan of the feline variety 🐕: he likes other dogs but doesn't know how to interact appropriately; for now a no-dog household would be best 👩🎤: he gets nervous when you leave and will sing; apartments aren't a good fit for this dude Find his PetFinder Bio here Blanco's not the easiest dog, but we know for the right home he will be the best dog.
