April Adoptions Celebrating Some Longer Stay Pets Finding Homes! 05/22/2025 By Kerry S We celebrated 89 adoptions in April including some of our longer stay animals who needed just the right place. It has been magical to see everyone finding their families! One of our April adoptions, Franklin, holds a special place, and we would like to send a heartfelt thank you to his foster and adoptive family. Franklin was a very special senior guy who came to us with diabetes and a cancerous tumor. One of our staff members took him in and she and her husband hospice fostered Franklin. He had all of the soft beds, personal heaters, and snacks he could dream of. His foster mom said, "He was such a genuine and beautiful soul. He shone brightly in his quiet and unassuming way." They officially adopted Franklin in April and helped him cross the rainbow bridge in May, loved him wholeheartedly and unconditionally.
