Jax Pupdate 03/28/2018 By andrew I think it’s pretty special that every pup out there picks “their person” and how truly loyal they are to you. After every long day I have, Dax is always the most excited to see me when I walk through the door.. says her crazy noodle butt and terrifying doggy smile and the way she immediately acts like a puppy again. When Jenna and the rest of the zoo are all off to bed and I stay up a little longer she never leaves my side – even if I accidentally fall asleep on the couch. She is the first one to wake me up each morning by licking my face or my feet (gross) lol. She follows me around the house & when I’m cooking she’s always in the kitchen watching what I am doing and let’s be honest, hoping I drop a little something on the floor. She licks my tears away when I am most upset, plays doctor when I have a wound, she is simply my best friend. No, it’s not national dog day or puppy day or whatever but I just wanted to say that animals are a true gift in this world. They are your friend when no one else is. She is still very young and only 4 years old but I will never forget the little things Dax and I share together everyday, for a lifetime. I can’t imagine life without her period. Hug them while you have them! #grateful
