Kleenex Alert! 07/01/2016 By andrew Update on Tilly from her adopters: “She is doing really well. She brings us so much joy and lots of laughter at her silly antics...from the way she goes and "wipes" her face off on her blanket after eating, to wiggling all around on her back on the bed, or how she takes charge of Charlie when it's time to come inside from our walks - she grabs hold of his leash up close to his collar and leads/drags him back to the house. It's pretty cute, and poor Charlie just lifts his head and trots along behind her.” Tilly’s backstory: Tilly was found running loose in the NW metro and brought to MG Impound Dogs. This poor girl was the definition of shut down. After only 1 day in foster care Tilly got loose & was running the parks of the Golden Valley area for 43 days. Our amazing friends at The Retrieversrecognized her after she landed herself in impound – again! – and she was returned to foster care (& was double leashed, with harness, for the following weeks!). Her experienced foster spent several months rehabilitating Tilly, before our sweet girl found an AMAZING home. She now enjoys playing with her bichon mix brother, Charlie, who is teaching her how to trust humans, and how to just ‘be a dog’.
