Tucker arrived to Pet Haven four years ago. Recently his adopters sent his foster mom a message:

“I often recall our first meeting with Tucker at your house; I remember how he calmly walked over to me, sat down and planted a big wet kiss on me.  Rob and I knew from that moment we had met our newest family member! I also remember going home that night hoping you were going to pick us as his new family and thinking how distraught I would be if he ended up with another family.  Thankfully that didn’t happen, and life with Tucker has been wonderful! He is now 4 years old.  He loves swimming and snow equally.  He has a very strong prey drive—rabbits, squirrels, geese, turkeys, even the occasional deer are all fair game.  He still loves playing with Otto (black lab next door) but found an equally good playmate in Juno, a rescue of some good friends. I often receive compliments on what a good looking dog he is, typically followed by “What kind of dog is he?”  We finally landed on Chow – Shepherd – Retriever” mix.  Sometimes (especially when his hunting drive kicks in) I wonder if there’s a trace of wolf in him as well? Thanks for picking us to be Tucker’s forever family 4 years ago!”
