Olive came to Pet Haven from Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue with her two brothers.  Silly, active, busy kittens.  On arrival we saw that Olive had something the matter with one eye.  At a visit to the ophthalmologist we learned that she had been born with only one eye.  He said that usually those cats do well and do not need any treatment for this condition.  If there were a problem surgery could be done to close the eyelids over that eye.

Olive had a little upper respiratory type discharge from her eye on arrival which cleared with ointment.   Then it was a matter of finding the right family for her!  Olive’s adopters looked beyond this malformation and saw the great personality behind it – lucky Olive, lucky family!
